The Pizza Parlor

Quality has deteriorated over the last year and a half. Being delivered cold pizza and being told they’ll send another, yet an hour later, still no fresh pie. Cold sandwiches are warm. Half the time the pizza was overcooked. So sad, my family use to love this place.

Downgrading my 4-star rating from over a year ago, and providing a detailed summary of the horrendous experience I endured this evening. I arrived around 7:45 with the intention of ordering a large plain pie and their Parlor Knots. Halfway through placing my order, the woman behind the counter cuts me off, tells me the wait will be 25 - 30 minutes, and quotes a price. I calmly completed my order and received a new price. I pay in cash, and get the wrong change. (I'm getting back less than a dollar, so I let it go.) I wait outside and make a call that lasts roughly 28 minutes. I head back to the counter and ask whether the order on top of the oven was mine. The same counter person asked for my name ... I paused, explained she didn't take it the first time, just my order and money. After a minute, she found my order in the system. Then, strangely, printed the ticket with my order, and walked it to the prep station. It was then I realized, 30 minutes after placing my order, she hadn't put my order in. 45 minutes after placing my order -- admittedly, that was my mistake for waiting so long -- a crowd forms, several complain about the long wait, as the same counter person loudly complains that their pizza maker disappeared for 20 minutes. There were also a couple of people behind the counter openly eating slices of pizza ... which felt quite disrespectful in the moment. 60 minutes after placing my order, I see a boxed pizza on the oven. I assumed it was mine, as I'm the last person in the place. It also appeared the second part of my order was prepared incorrectly, as their $5 garlic knots were bagged, instead of the $11 Parlor Knots I paid for. I finally reached my limit, when I pointed out my pizza was sitting for 20 minutes, requested a fresh pie, and both the counter person and pizza maker made a big production, stating the pie "just came out". The best part about the experience was receiving a refund, even without an apology. I was a consistent customer at this establishment for years. After tonight, I'll never return.

Ordered a pizza tonight and could be the WORST we ever had...Pizza was old and reheated with peperoni put on top. Burnt and you could literally snap the slices in half !!! Would not have taken if even free. To bad didn't notice till home. In garbage

I've gone to this place many times in the past got myself a vegan pie and it was good. This time around Got myself two squares and a slice while I was waiting I noticed that one of the staff members was eating in the same area where they prepare the food which I found a little troublesome and he noticed that I was looking at him and he continued to eat where they make the food I think it's very unsanitary. Finally received my food paid for my food got back to my car and started eating to find out that both my squares were cold I guess he took it out of the oven too soon the pizza slice was nice and hot and delicious. That's all I got sorry one more thing cost me $10 and some change for two squares that were cold plus one slice🤯 Now that's all I got

Writing about a pick up experience. Ordered 4 items and the price were off . Called back to inquired the woman was having a huge attitude. She said the price on the web site is old, and that she is too busy to go over it with me. When I told her that the recipt doesn’t have the price neither and that’s why I had to call. She was sounding annoyed and finally went through the price with me. Perhaps if you have the current price updated on the site, and put the actual price on the receipt , and try to have a decent attitude to the customer that will make the whole experience a bit better

Being a fan of Carmine Gualtieri's other restaurants, I was thrilled to have the chance to visit The Pizza Parlor. As you step into the restaurant, the décor has that modern urban vibe of the city. The menu is hip and refreshing yet you’ll still find classic standbys like Chicken Parm and Baked Ziti. When we arrived, menu cards were displayed at each place setting along with a jar of their delicious sauce for guests to take home. Such a generous gesture! A nice chunky rustic bruschetta was on the tables to enjoy. First up were the appetizers. Italian Egg Rolls and Vodka Chicken Parm Garlic Knot Sliders. Oh, my taste buds! Next, an amazing Hot Antipasto consisted of baked clams, stuffed mushrooms, eggplant and shrimp oreganata. I enjoyed everything on that plate! Pasta lovers met their match tonight. Both the Penne Vodka and Toscana Rigatoni were delicious BUT it was the Chicken Marsala that was the real star of the show. Golden pan-fried chicken cutlets and mushrooms in a rich Marsala wine sauce. This could very well be the best Chicken Marsala I’ve ever eaten. The perfect ending to this feast in the form of heaven on earth was a tray of Nutella stuffed Zeppoles. Out of this world! Now for the service. This place is a well-oiled machine. All of the servers are friendly, quick and efficient. Someone at our table had a shellfish allergy. The waiter alerted the chef, who came out personally to chat about some substitute allergy-friendly offerings. Lastly, the owner Carmine was such a gracious host and genuinely nice guy. He was excited to meet all the new faces and hear our feedback. Everything was phenomenal from beginning to end. Now go check out The Pizza Parlor! You will not be disappointed!!!

The food here is so good. It’s a small place and the menu is huge. So much to choose from. I would definitely come back.

The order was late the food was not hot got a burger and fries not worth 16.90. Fries were greasy and burger had no taste it remind of the box burgers you get at Costco. They didnt give enough Ketchup
