The Pizza Plant offers some of the best pizza in California. If you’re considering the gluten-free option but are worried about receiving yet another thin cardboard like crust, fret not; the pizza plant had figured out a way to make beautifully soft and chewy crust which happens to be gluten-free.

My first time there and the pizza was absolutely delicious! Plant-based pizza has reached a higher level of excellence. My meat-eating friend said it was one of the best pizzas she's ever had and that she never would have thought it was vegan. I was not only impressed by the pizza but also by the owner: he is donating pizzas to homeless shelters, so the more pizza you buy the more is donated. Great for the planet, for the animals, for you, and the homeless... what could be better?

Vegan and nut-free options available. Pizza Plant is housed with a couple of other restaurants and share the same kitchen. You order off a computer, which is really time consuming if you are making adjustments or have to report any allergens. The food: It was great! We got a fully green pizza and a mushroom pizza. They have nut free cheese options and they were very good. The chef came out to clarify a few things and it was very reassuring. I greatly appreciate thoughtfulness when it comes to allergies because many restaurants are still catching up. Drinks were expensive

super excited that there was a vegan Pizzeria in Pasadena but when I arrived I found the menu to be pretty expensive and the amount of pizza you get is small. The crust of the pizza was super processed it was a square pizza which I don't know it was kind of a turn-off we ended up getting like a barbecue pizza or something and it just wasn't that great for the price I keep on coming back to the price I expect I guess more food I understand that things are organic and they are using cashews but it just did not do it for me. Will i be back? If someone else pays plus i guess i will only order the traditional Italian pizza. Thtee Stars given for the fact that they make vegan food.

Expensive but good pizza. I appreciate that everything was vegan but it was a little much even for vegan, plus the small pizza really was small. It was also a little difficult to find because it was inside a place called commissary on Madison but the place was also called kitchen united, so which one is it? A good idea to be food court style with different kitchens in the back and waiting for the place to become extremely popular with millennials soon.

The concept of this place is interesting (and complicated to explain) but the staff is friendly and helpful. Our group tried four different pies and a salad, and it seemed that our opinions were as varied as our selections. There were four of us, and we all agreed that we would be willing to give it another try but that we wouldn't travel the distance to this location again.

Expensive, good food, a little confusing first time to order on the computer.
