Great quality plant, and they potted it in store for me. It's popped out a couple new leaves since I got it, so their soil mix is working great. Their staff was very sweet and helpful, and I'll definitely come back

I’m not normally one to write a bad review for a business, but I feel literally obligated to warn people to stay away from this plant shop. I’ve been shopping at this store for a couple of years now and in the last year have decided to boycott it entirely In the beginning this store was genuinely awesome. The staff was very kind and regularly had little conversations once I became a regular, even going as far to learn what I loved in plants and gave me recommendations and would set stuff aside for me they thought I’d like because they knew I was going to come in pretty much weekly. But as time went on, I and my friends who started to shop here based on my recommendation started to notice a visible decline. Stuff started to seem unfairly priced, random common plants being weirdly overpriced? Then the plant care of the inventory started to go down. Once well taken care of plants shelves started to look kinda rough, which then progressed to many of them very clearly dying/rotting on the shelves. I actually went in with a friend to WARN them to stay away by showing them in person how bad it was and we literally found a shelf that was horrifically INFESTED with mites. We pointed it out to a worker and I’ve never seen them scramble to pull inventory so fast. Most of the plants I buy from this store have been massive strugglers and very few have survived their initial purchase. I’m not a novice plant owner, having 40+ plants in my collection with years of plant care under my belt. I have not had these same strange issues with plants I’ve bought from other stores in the area/just other places in general. This store also sold me a plant, offering an extra discount after noticing I was looking at it because it looked like it needed a little TLC and I thought seemed manageable, but didn’t tell me until AFTER I had forked over the money that it “by the way” had spider mites they were “treating” on it. I was pretty pissed to say the least. I’ve just gotten tired of bad experience after bad experience, as have other people in the plant community around Springfield that I’ve spoke to and gotten to know, and wouldn’t wish this store on my worst enemy. There are other wonderful and RELIABLE plant shops in the area that I’d highly recommend, some even small and locally owned

A great place for a great variety of plants and knowledgeable staff!! Love being able to look at different plants as well as common plants and love even more that they’re pet friendly so I can plant shop with my pup! The staff is so friendly and helpful when it comes to pick out plants that match my home to help set me up for successful plant parenthood!

I was very happy with our visit yesterday! I’m new to plants, I have a few at home already that I’ve been successfully taking care of since last year and was excited to add to my collection. This place is beautiful! I intended on getting one larger plant yesterday and left with four! The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful! I had some questions and was able to easily get information and learn some new things. I’m excited to join in learning more about plants and coming back often. I also think it’s really great that you can bring in a cutting of a plant from your own collection to trade in for one that someone has brought in for the trade program. How cool is that?

I came for the pop-up bracelet event but I was really interested when I saw the wide variety of plants and pots that they have. I ended up purchasing a little plant and pot for it and it was responsibly priced! I hope to be back soon! They seem very knowledgeable about the plants and their care! Thanks guys!

I LOVE The Plant Room! Every time someone has a birthday, needs a holiday gift, wants a new plant, we come here! We love buying plants for gifts, our house and our business. This is the place to go. Everyone is so kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful. Space is clean and full of good energy, always! So thankful for The Plant Room and proud to support a local small business. lovely plant shop who cares for community, they have plant trading wall! It’s fun to trade plant cuttings or plants with the ones on trading wall. They have great plants and staffs too

The worker was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The plants are very unique and well taken care of. It makes you feel like you are buying something special not just a regular plant. Very cool experience. They will even pot your plant if you buy a pot with it!

If you are looking for a super cute shop to buy an unique plant related gift - look no further! This store not only has some fantastic plants - but they have also taken the time to work with local crafters and artists to stock some pretty amazing planty type gifts ranging from adorable stickers to hand made pots. I have purchased multiple plants from The Plant Room - the only one that died was totally my fault. The rest have flourished and the staff is always happy to answer any questions I have. I really appreciate this addition to the plant community!

Questionable business morals, attempted to use bullying and "local business standing" to force small suppliers to sell products to them below [their offered] agreed upon cost.

I absolutely love this shop! They have super knowledgeable staff that will answer any questions you may have about either a plant you have or one you're interested in. I truly appreciate everyone there taking the time to help me and be so kind! Prices are pretty good as well, with a deal to get a free potting if you buy a plant and a pot!

If I could give ten stars I would. The selection is the best in the Springfield area for unique and beautiful plants! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, and the plants are top notch! They have everything from macrame to pots and soil as well. Definitely a must visit for anyone coming through who loves plants. My favorite area for everything plants in Springfield!
