I'll start off by saying this is a local sports bar. It leans towards the divey side in the best way possible. The best thing about this bar is the surprisingly well cooked food. They have a great selection that is reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any other burgers and if you want a steak dinner the prime rib is amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the chili bowl with beans. Whether you go to watch a game or play billiards with some friends, you won't break the bank with the pricing of the drinks. During the week they have different events, such as scavenger hunts, bingo and karaoke, to name a few. This is a great place to have a relaxing evening with friends. I will definitely be back.

5🌟 I vote this one of my BEST neighborhood bars One of those hidden gems in Vegas that you don't know about unless a buddy takes you there. Food is great. Bartender is always awesome. Drinks are cheap. Places nice. It's also kind of military-centric sports on all TVs. Bar poker/slot/keno. Totally recommend it. Very community feel so you'll have to put some time in here before you can really get your groove on. Jukebox always playing good jams. It's clean. You'll have the opposite of "sticker shock" when you get your bill.

Outstanding! I ordered food from here using Door Dash . It only took 35 minutes from when I placed my order and to get my food I live around the corner. I waited for food longer in Restaurants then it took to get my food it was literally hot still and I can’t believe how amazing and delicious. The MOM burger was good followed by the spinach artichoke dip and the Bacon cheddar potato skins . I was amazed by the affordable prices too what a great deal!

The cook was great. But it's really smokey. Nothing worse than eating your prime rib in a cloud of cigarette smoke. Ruins the taste of everything. The farthest table from the actual bar was about 20 feet

Such a wholesome fun bar perfect place for a good meal if you’re hungry or a good drink at the end of a work day! Karaoke is a blast every Friday and the bartenders Renea, Marissa , and Zoe are the best

I stumbled upon this neighborhood bar, checked it out in a night Marissa was there and fell in love with the bar huts based off of her energy and service . The food exceeds your average “dive bar” expectations and I feel like I found my home bar ❤️

I ate here once to try it out. A Potato Skins Platter with cheesy, potatoey elements looked good when it arrived at our table until I discovered that it had no real bacon on the Potato Skins at all. Instead, there were just Bacon Flavored Bits on top. A crock of "Prime Rib" French Onion Soup with Mushrooms was like a vat of soup, with nice broth but not enough of it. And a Taco Supreme Dinner Plate Salad wa enormous in size. The Cod in Fish & Chips was fresh. And I was presented with good homemade Potato Salad. The bartender did a good job juggling duties of making drinks and acting as our server. But only pre-made sweet Iced Tea is reportedly available. The location is a bit sketchy. And as we were leaving we passed by a man dressed in gang colors going through a trash bin right near the bar entrance.

I ordered delivery, so I can't speak on the experience, but the food ? It's a very hard no for me. I was reluctant to try this place, simply based on how it looks outside. I truly regret I did. Nothing was good. I got two burgers. The towering inferno burger was the best part, but I was slightly misled to believe that this was a spicy burger, when in fact, it's a chili burger. I just assumed the chili was some type of pepper considering the name of the burger. Even with it being the best thing, I would give it a 3/10 The mom burger. I made a bad decision ordering this, but I thought that the combo had to have some type of sense behind it. But it turns out, soggy mushrooms, green olives, and Swiss cheese doesn't make a good burger. And it was mostly olives. Neither patties had condiments or a lick of seasoning on it, and neither did the sides. The potato salad was not only flavorless, it took a lot of work to try to chew huge chunks of undercooked russet potatoes. If the skin doesn't budge on a russet potato when you mix it up, it's a good sign that they are undercooked. The other side was labeled "homemade pasta". It was macaroni salad. And a horrible one. It was simply mayonnaise, macaroni, big chunks of cheese, and big pickle chunks. These are the nastiest meals I've ever ordered in my entire life.

This is your local east side Hole in the wall bar that's worth the stop in. So much cool decor inside , they totally go overboard. It gives me old school 80s nostalgic vibes lol. Zo is one of the best bartenders there, very attentive and just a cool person all around. You MUST TRY the armadillo eggs if it's your first time, because anything wrapped in bacon is a must. Food prices aren't bad at all.

Prime Rib. Great food 24/7. Fast and friendly service. Music fils the whole place. I recommend a stop if your looking for some late night cooking..

This place looks a little rough on the outside, inside is clean though. Pool tables, golden tee and darts available. Food was very good, I recommend the artichoke dip, they give you chips and garlic bread squares, easily my favorite. Bartenders are nice, food was a great price. They have fun little mini games for people who are gaming to participate in to win slot play or cash, through the rewards system. If you're looking for a chill neighborhood bar, with gaming, food drinks and a little more, this place is for you. I was welcomed by the staff and the patrons here. I'm sad I moved away from this area before becoming a regular, but I will be back!

Food is always amazing we have had quite a few things on the menu and satisfied every time. Everyone in the bar including kitchen staff are friendly. It a great go too!

Best Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry in Vegas, and we've tried them all. The tartar is yummy and not overly dilly. Get the fried pickles and cheese curds, yes, it's a lot but worth the splurge in calories. The atmosphere is very much local Wisconsin neighborhood bar. If you're homesick and hungry, this is the place to go. The bloody's are good too.

The Plate Bar & Grill is one of our favorite Dive Bars! Staff is friendly & welcoming, as well as their patrons. Drinks and food offerings are affordable, too. They have a variety of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and sides. Their menu has many unique items, particularly their eclectic burgers, and they even have a Vegan Platter. The Golden Night's Hockey "score" Burger is a 3-meat creation, though I have to admit the Nutty Squirrel Burger (bacon, peanut butter, swiss) is my favorite. Don't judge. I tried it on a whim because it was different, and my enjoyment of it was unexpected. :) One thing I really like, is that they offer sides of potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, or tossed salad, in addition to the normal offering of french fries. They usually have a good variety of soups, too. Tonight, I think they had about 6 available, of which french onion, beer-cheese broccoli, and prime rib soups were 3 of them. They also have Daily Dinner specials (Saturdays are Prime Rib Dinner). You can order to-go, dine at the bar or at some of the side tables along the wall, but we enjoy the dinner tables in the small "dining room"; with tables & decor like you were in the dining room of your grandma's home. It is a place to just kick it and dine out, but with the feel like you were kicking it at a friend's home, having drinks, dinner, and good conversation. It is Dive Bar food, drink, and atmosphere...just as it should be.

It was late at night/early in the morning (around 3am Thursday) and me and a couple friends were hungry. Las Vegas is no longer a 24/7 city (thanx to Covid) so we were looking for a place to eat and this was one of the only things open. When I walked in the bar felt like a cool dive bar. There were 5 other customers, plus the bartender, and us 3. It had Elvis and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. Tom Petty was playing on the jukebox. I liked how it was decorated. There were pool tables, tables to sit and eat at. We sat around the bar. There was also machines to gamble at around the bar. I liked how it felt like a cool, locals bar where everyone knew each other. The bartender was nice and served us our meals and they were good. All of us would recommend. I got the breakfast w French toast plate and it was delicious. My bf got the tuna melt and fries and he said it was amazing, and the grilled cheese was bomb too with fair prices and not expensive at all. I'll be going again if I'm on that side of town. The only negative thing didn't have to do with the bar at all. It was a crackhead that was digging in a trash can right outside the door to the bar. We parked right by the door so our car was right by the trash can and the crack head. She knocks over the trash can and then grabs a fountain drink that was in the garbage. As we were walking in I heard a big splash like she threw the fountain drink against something and I told my bf "dude, I think that homeless crackhead just threw that drink at your car" and sure enough....she had. My bf was pissed. There was blue drink all over the windshield and white car. He began to scold her and she was denying it so he came in and told the bartender and right away the security (I think it was security) came out and he started kicking her out of the area and telling her to get on. He took over the scolding and we proceeded to walk in, take our seats and had a very nice meal.

Great little neighborhood bar with solid food specials. Warm and friendly staff with great prices. All bottles for beer;( but the vibe is inviting.

A hidden treasure in Las Vegas! This bar isn't easy to find but keep looking. Great food and super nice staff! The owner really went all out on decorating this bar. Has something for everyone. Karaoke, pool tables, darts and gaming.

Had breakfast here. Super good!! The cook is awesome! He makes a mean Ruben and one hell of an omelette. Food tasted great and he was super friendly. (Thanks for the pickle!) The server/bartender Zo is amazing. Loved his energy and his glasses A+ all around.

Bartender was friendly and asked how we are doing and do we need a menu... basic but so many places can't even wait on you!! I will go back

The Plate Bar & Grill is located one block north of Sahara on Lamb and Cincinnati, with parking on the east side of the Grill. This is a real homey, locals type of bar and grill with good food at reasonable prices, cold, cold beer, and they were playing George Thorogood, Bob Dylan, etc., to an older crowd of locals that were eating and watching programs on multi-tv's. I ordered a Pabst, a Ruben sandwich, and a bowl of Chili. The beer was very cold, the sandwich was good and the Chili was ok. (I'm pretty particular about my Chili). The service was great and I would return to try other selections from the menu, like the thick prime rib for $18 served on Saturday. If you are in the area, stop in and enjoy what I call the old neighborhood type of bar with personality. Please remember to tip your server accordingly

During the pandemic, delivery should be free. The delivery personnel would get much bigger tips if the delivery fee was removed. Even delivery apps are offering free delivery. Between paying for the food, delivery fees & driver tips, it's too expensive for people who can't go pick it up themselves. Thank you. Take care.

Looked online for a sandwich shop and this was the closest to where we were, when we arrived we thought it was a bit shabby looking on the outside but I have to say we are not disappointed. The clubhouse was an amazing sandwich and it was really big. I personally had the patty melt and it was delicious as well. With great service too, Trish I was so funny and willing to accommodate our silly requests! We will definitely be back.

Been wanting to come here for a while and finally came for date night Saturday night prime rib and my man got a burger. Bomb!! Cool little hole in the wall place. Will be coming back! Looks like mostly locals here but it was inviting and friendly.

If I could give this place 0 stars then I would DEFINITELY. I see a lot of positive reviews on here... and I do not understand why! My boyfriend and I came here because we were craving some finger food and had a real craving for some chicken tenders & some buffalo wings. Bar food usually is the best to satisfy that craving. We ended up throwing our $25 order of food away and picking up some 7-11 pizza. Both chicken tenders and buffalo wings were SUPER DRY. Absolutely no flavor for the wings. It looked AND as well tasted like there was no sauce whatsoever. It actually felt like they were shriveled up chicken pieces. This place sucks and I don't know if it's their people running that bar or if something bad is going on with their oil.... but you know a business is doing pretty bad if they mess up FRIED FOOD.

I can only give a 1-star rating as when we walked in the door and were hit by smoke and nicotine smell so strong we walked out. I thought the dining area was supposed to be separate from the bar. We have lung problems and can't be around the smell least we get sick.

Great little local hangout. Great food! Familiar faces. And the decorations are just to die for you cannot quit looking at them and the Armadillo Eggs are the bombssssss. Our favorite. Well mine.

Best Breakfast in Vegas! TV's everywhere. Great atmosphere. Bartender Zo is super friendly! The food is incredible (Go Dave!!!) and the prices are draw droppingly good. Best find in Vegas so far!

Came here after trying a few different things around town (just moved back and wanted to try stuff on this side of town) great service from Chris. He was a bad ass and killed it all. My husband and I will be back as this was a great dive to come to and we will be back!

My friend had her birthday party here and a good time was had by all. The food was good and the drinks were very reasonably priced. They were djj friendly so she had her own music. The bathrooms were fairly clean. They have nascar Sunday's and Saturday karaoke. Pool tables and a ton of board games are available for your gaming pleasure. They just need better ventilation for us non smokers.

My girlfriends and I were doing community service at a nearby school and we wanted to have lunch. We looked for a place close by and this popped up. We were all surprised at how clean it was inside and the food was outstanding!!! The service was kind and attentive. We will definitely be eating here again when we are in the area.

What this bar just did for their local schools was amazing! On top of it all the food and drinks were goooood! Being from Wisconsin I was even more impressed to see Friday Fish Fry on the menu! Will definitely come back here again. Go!! This isn't just another sports bar in Vegas! They are a neighborhood bar that really cares about its Local community!

Absolutely love coming here especially on karaoke nights. An over all super-fun place to hang out. The owners are terrific people and loads of fun and let me tell you Kathy and Bob who run the karaoke are the best!! Totally recommend checking it out..you won't regret it!!

Just moved here about a month ago and have seen this place down the street. Always looked interesting and wasn't sure if it was actually serving but noticed people starting to go there after a few weeks.. looked it up online and saw how everyone loved this place. My husband and I saw it was dine in now and went there tonight. The service was great, the decor was interesting for sure, the food was great and really nicely priced. Got spaghetti with garlic bread and salad for 7.99. Husband got the wings and armadillo eggs and fries and it was really good. The only part of the place I didn't enjoy was the cigarette smoke. It is a 21 or older place which was cool too. I'd say try it out it's worth it.

Came here last night for Armadillo eggs and they were BOMB. Chris was behind the bar always very welcoming and friendly. Make sure to stop by if you're on this side of town!

What a great little place. I small local neighborhood bar that made people from out of state very welcomed. We ran across this joint on recommendation from a friend. We ended up there 5-6 times. Food is great. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Awesome burgers even at wee hours of the morning. Many includes apps, salads, burgers, lasagne, roast chicken dinner and much more. Many menu items. The staff i remember the names of Rachel, Laurie, Josh, Kelly, Johnny, Oh and Bonnie Beverage we all great fun. I will make this a destination during my next trip to Vegas. Oh they have Karaoke on Saturdays. There was a great band that got a lot of people dancing one night. They are staring a car cruise in on Saturdays that i am disappointed I could not stay in town for. Will be there for that and the Friday Fish Fry next trip

Not sure how to rate this bar? #1 NO dart board and only one pool table. #2 NO draft beer. The bartender was totally absent from his duties and he walked by me twice when I had an empty beer in front of me. As I cashed out from my michene and waited the bartender was sitting at a machine himself at the far end of the bar oblivious to anything but the game he was playing and I had to call out to get his attention. I overheard one Patron saying to another that the food there was good but I didn't order anything to eat so I cannot comment on the menu. As far as I'm concerned,no dartboard, no draft beer and inattentive service is a no-go for me.

This place was SO smokey - We had to leave. Instantaneous headache. There is no way I could eat in this place!

Went to this place while visiting the area based on reviews. Interesting and local place. Great service, good prices. The only negative about the experience was a local there (Michelle) at the bar there that was ridiculously verbally cussing and dropping F-bombs non stop. The only reason for the 3 stars is that the mentioned regular patron made the experience uncomfortable.

I went to this Bar and the Food was way over Priced and a Very lousy cook the food was really greasy and the meat on the sandwich was tuff and they guy at the bar is rude as hell and the service was really Bad. this place was inspected by the Health Dept and they had Mice in the kitchen and behind the bar and people dont wash there hands DONT Even stop in here what a waste your money or time going there .. find a better place to eat.

The place is very nice very clean the atmosphere is amazing friendly people great food a must try.

Update: 11/10/17 Alright so i finally figured out how it works. All apps are half priced after midnight, this actually is great news, unfortunately for me i get off the bus at 11 PM so i miss it but that much hopefully they'll make an exception since I'm a local and come often, otherwise it's an amazing deal! dont know how i got charged $15 in the past when the regular price is 12.00 and half off is $7.00. The stars only reflect tonight's experience........I love this place, . The atmosphere and service is great. Its a great place to relax and have a few drinks after work...but they need to find a new band for Friday nights. The band they've has been tolerable until tonight. I'm open to many different types of music but I don't go to a bar to listen to opera. It has its place in the music world, but a bar on Friday nights is not it. I like to go here to relax, not fall asleep. I will return on Friday nights, but if they start singing opera, I'm headed home.

Went here with my husband for lunch on Saturday. Dim lighting was a nice break from the blazing sun outside. The open faced sliced prime rib sandwich was delicious. I was even tempted to try the jalepeno pickled eggs. They did not disappoint. Drinks stayed full and the food was delicious while being very affordable. I will be coming back for more. Glad my husband forced me to give a try.

Just out their daily dinner specials they're always delicious with lots of food and include a salad which is a bonus. The cocktails are very inexpensive. I like going on the nights they have curio key. The bartender is always very kind to. You can often see the owner of the restaurant or the bar sitting at the bar watching to make sure everyone is happy.

Cozy and fun little local bar! Drinks and food are very inexpensive. The staff are also friendly and very welcoming. Tip: Lorenzo makes a mean martini!!

We were super excited to try this place..... we went in and ordered drinks and food... got our drinks right away but waited over 45 min for the 3 fish tacos and breakfast..... someone walked in 30 min after us but got food immediately..... wow kitchen service is terrible..... but the bar tender was nice....... maybe we will try again..... chances are slim...

I went to The Plates last night for their crazy bingo. It was really fun. Lots of friendly people. Lots of laughter. The bingo was free. I ordered a spinach and artichoke dip, it was delicious. The bartenders were friendly and handled a busy bar well. The owners are very welcoming. Always saying hello to their guests and making an effort to let us know they appreciate our patronage. I will definitely be back!!!

I stopped by late after work Bryan greeted me sat at the bar ordered a club sandwich.I had heard it had good food sandwich was good.told my wife about so thought I'd take get there next day for breakfast before work I had corned beef hash was truly nice to have homemade! So on my way home that night I stopped by and saw the parking lot full at 1130 it was karoke night with a bunch of very friendly people having a good time.I ordered the cheese curds wow is all I can say very good.I left the last tavern on nellis because of to much drama and fights .glad to see a nice clean bar with friendly people

The Plate has good service, great food specially saturday prime rib 15.99 seriously for 2 ppl! Or one if youre big on eating . Awesome, awesome!

Only when truly deserved do I take the time to lambast a really sorry establishment. The Plate fully qualifies for failing to meet even minimal standards. When a $15.99 prime rib dinner is being ordered, the obvious first inquiry from order taker would be as to how you would like it: rare, medium, or well done. Shane, the inept bartender, fails to even bother with that rudimentary step. When presented with the order, I noticed that the garlic toast and dessert were missing. Shane informs that they have no garlic toast and that strawberry jello is available, if desired, as they are out of cheesecake! Obviously, any normal kitchen can prepare garlic toast in minutes unless they have no bread - his excuse is so disingenuous as to be ludicrous. If something on the joint's menu white board signage is not going to be included for whatever reason, management (competent management that is) would simply remove the item with the wipe of a finger. Not these darlings. When my bill came to $22.80, I asked how much was the beer I had while waiting. Reply was, $4.50 plus a take out charge. The meat was gifted to a neighbor who has a big dog. I strongly suggest avoiding this dump at all cost.
