Lovely whole floor at plaza hotel. So many great deserts in this Hall such as donuts, bakery and Lady M as well. Good think to drop by if you done with your meal. One thing disappointing fact is there is only limited seats for many peoples.

5 stars for convenience, variety and pricing - yummy options too! You spend a lot of time researching for “the” perfect place but this has so many options and every place we tried was amazing. Breakfast, lunch, bakery, pasta, sit down, yogurt, mini-donuts ...wow - so much to offer. We had brunch/breakfast at Epicerie Boulud a number of times during our visit. Loved the salads, breakfast sandwiches. Cannot go wrong especially if you’re hungry, can’t decide and need options - or something heavy to hearty to give you fuel for all the walking you’ll do! Strongly recommended.

Nice selection of cafes and restaurants for quick stops. Crazy busy during holiday season, like pretty much all cafes around mid town. I would definitely avoid visiting around this time as it is pretty much close to impossible to find any seating space. The matcha green tea crepe cake is definitely a must try, though. Most crepe cakes I tried here were delicious!

I've been to new York 8 times a year maybe even more in the last 20 something years . Even stayed at the plaza hotel for a long weekend and never knew this place was here the staff never told us about it. I can't believe I've walked by there a hundred times finally decided to go in this Plaza food Hall and it is absolutely beautiful they have all kinds of food just too many even mention but look at all the pictures they have the names of those little restaurants and Little bistros, little store kiosks just everyehere down there. everyone should you go it's just gorgeous down there the prices aren't too bad .check out the pictures. They time you go to new York you find something new.

This is a great place to grab a bite to eat! The pastries are delicious. If you want a real meal, give Todd English a try. My friends and I love to come here on Sundays.

Perfect coexistence of touristy & local. I always go with my friends that are visiting the city. Plenty of options to choose from to satisfy various appetites. It’s hectic but maintained clean. Must try Luke’s Lobster and Pizza Rollio

Wide variety of food and comfortable, casual- upscale atmosphere. Great for a quick meal any time of day. Delectable baked goods. Great coffee. Not inexpensive. Highly recommend.

Great place to eat although they could use a bit more seating. My friend and I split a sub sandwich and I had a piece of rainbow cake. He had a piece of crepe cake. Everything was delicious and good size portions. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
Heaven! I started to order a plain lobster roll it was over$18! Maybe when I get my check! Today I had the shrimp. I wish the shrimp were heated. The roll is toasted warm and buttered. So delicious. The employee was great teaching me the drill and the price of everything. She was very patient with me. You order, I used my credit card for the $9.80. That's with tax. There's a communal seating area. I found a clean table and enjoyed! I've been to the Luke's by Bryant Park. Looks like I have to try the one near home Upper East Side. If not, this is a great alternative to a hot dog when I'm hanging around this neighborhood! If you like seafood and delicious bread you gotta try Luke's Lobster. Yum!

Yelp
Every time I visit NY, I make it a point to stop at the Plaza, especially in the basement at the Food Hall- I mean, it is one of my favorite places on the face of the Earth (real talk). On my last visit, I saw there were a few additions (OK, it was like 10 years since my last visit, so I guess that were to be the case). After walking in circles, I saw a poster with a lobster roll- covered in Petrossian caviar. Now, mind you, I literally just got off the plane from Denver, and met my buddies, this was the first stop for me. Omg, I was so excited on so many levels (I was meeting friends who I hadn't seen in over 2 years). Seeing a lobster roll topped with caviar (which, honestly, I am not even a fan of, but the concept excited me!)? I mean, how NY is that? So, I decided to order one, and it came with a bag of chips. For $45, it was the most expensive lobster roll I have ever had (other ones I have had topped out at $36 and $39). But, this one, looked special. The place was crowded, but they cranked my order quickly. I then rushed over to the table my friends were at, and started unpacking my lunch like a giddy schoolboy. It came with 2 boxes- one with the roll, and one with the caviar goodies. That was literally the first time I actually had a caviar tin, that I opened and actually spooned on myself. I followed the instructions, and saved the leftovers to dip with the chips. You know what, it wasn't bad at all! In fact, it actually complemented the roll. It was pretty damn good. But, not eating caviar like that before, I was scared I would get sick (thankfully I did not). In fact, I almost stopped at the caviar place next door in the food hall, but I didn't feel like blowing all my money the first hour I was in town (which is VERY easy to do in NY, FYI). Needless to say, this was quite a unique experience and I am glad I tried it. If you like lobster rolls and want to try something decadent, I would tell you to give it a shot! I don't think you will be disappointed! Then, you can also say you had caviar in NY! They do have other options, if you don't want lobster- everything my friends ordered here they enjoyed as well.

Yelp
To get to the Plaza Hotel Food Court, the best way is walk to W. 58 St on the side of the hotel, go through the revolving door, down the escalator and 'Welcome to the Food Court'. If you go to the right and look in the center, Luke's Lobster is there. Using mealpal, I was able to skip the line and show my QR code to pick up my shrimp roll (which might be small to some folks) with 1/2 pickle (love it!) and a bag of chips. Last time I picked up crab roll - so good! The employees be are welcoming and they are quick. The meal normally would be filling. For me, I needed something more like a fruit or snack. but I was hungrier than usual. Have to come back and try their other items. If you get a chance, come by and pick up some seafood rolls!

Yelp
Had a craving for a lobster roll and we found this place located in the food-hall of the Plaza hotel nearby. The place is bustling as there are multiple other shops nearby and seating is limited/shared seating at high top bars. Luke's lobster roll is delicious! Perfectly toasted bun with a handful of lobster inside! They also add a drizzle of butter over it. My husband also got the lobster chowder and it was delicious - again perfect for a cloudy day! The food is pricy ($18.00 for the lobster roll, but they also have crab rolls and shrimp rolls) and the roll is not super large. I think in total went spent $55 for lunch here. We both got lemonade, i got the more tart one while he got the Arnold palmer bottled version.

Yelp
I ordered the classic lobster roll with clam chowder as my side. The meal totaled $31 (I upsized the clam chowder). That was expensive to me considering it's a walk-up, and not an actual restaurant. While the soups seemed to come out of a plastic bag, it was full of clams in every bite! I was pleasantly surprised. The service was just okay, not anything I would complain about, but nothing I would praise them for, which I why I rated 4/5 stars. Overall I would return, and I hope you enjoy!

Yelp
I love the food at Luke's since I first tried it in Singapore. So I was super excited to see it at the Plaza. I had the lobster combo just because. Despite being by the coast, lobster is not that readily available in Vancouver. I was determined to be all lobster-out. For $30, you get a small lobster bisque, lobster roll, chilled 1/2 lobster tail and choice of side (chips or slaw) and a drink. I thought it was a great way to try everything lobster. I love love the lobster roll. So delicious with the soft roll filled generously with lobster pieces. The chilled lobster tail was ok. The lobster bisque was on the salty side. I could not finish that. I had the slaw which was not bad, at least it was not too creamy. I liked the crunch. I would definitely be back again and try the trio next time.

Yelp
Without a doubt, Luke's serves up some delicious lobster rolls!! Conveniently located in the Plaza food hall on the southeast corner of Central Park, it's a terrific location after a nice stroll in the park. There are a bunch of great food vendors with kiosks so if someone doesn't want a delicious lobster roll, they can easily find something else to their liking. The Plaza food hall is a great escape especially in the hot, humid weather too! Looking at the menu, the price for a lobster roll looks absolutely crazy ($18) but once you get one, you can see why. They don't skimp on lobster portions and the lobster roll is what you dream of... just lobster and their special seasoning. It's a very simple roll. The bread is perfectly toasted but could be a little warmer. The lobster itself was really fresh and you can immediately tell from taking one bite. We also got an order of chowder and I thought it was alright. It was a little sandy but has plenty of clams inside the chowder. If you're in New York, you definitely have to check out Luke's and try their lobster roll, even if it's a little pricey. You get a ton of lobster that will fulfill anyone's craving!

Yelp
We needed a quick lunch and stopped by the Plaza Hotel Food Hall - given that I'm from the west coast and fresh lobster is hard to come by, I opted to try Luke's for the lobster roll. It did not disappoint! At $18, this is one of the smallest and most expensive sandwiches I've ever paid for... but the taste alone was enough to make me savor it. The lobster is really good and abundant in the sandwich, with a sweet and buttery flavor. I added some lemon to give it a hint of acidity, especially since the lobster was fresh. I also like how the bread was buttered and toasty - worked really well with the lobster. Though it looked small, it was pretty filling and kept me going for the rest of the afternoon (besides in NYC you can't help but want to eat a variety fo things). I also tried their homemade blueberry lemonade... it's $3 a bottle, and honestly it tasted terrible. I normally try to finish my drink since I hate wasting the money I paid, but it didn't taste sweet at all. Just extremely sour with a bitter aftertaste, and you couldn't even taste the blueberry. Come for the lobster rolls, but I don't recommend the lemonade. They don't have their own dedicated seating, so you'll have to wander around and grab a seat when you can.

Yelp
Went to lunch here last week and it was great! First - fabulous service. They had 5 people working from the kiosk and everyone was friendly, efficient and totally on top of it. The gentleman working the register was extremely friendly and helpful (THANK YOU!). Second - the food. Lobster roll was small, but actually the perfect size with a ton of lobster pieces and a perfect buttered bun. $18-worth of YUM! Clam chowder was also excellent. And, it all came out, fresh, in maybe 2 minutes. Yes! Finally - minus one star was really for the Plaza and the lack of seating (and, clean tables) for those not taking the food to go. Definitely give it a try!

Yelp
Hands down one of the most scrumptious lobster rolls I've ever had. The lobster was buttery and the seasoning added just the right touch of flavor. The roll was toasted; if it's not, that just ruins it. I'm only knocking off a star because I thought the prices were a tad steep for the small size of the roll. Someone with a larger appetite wouldn't be full off of one alone. Also, seating was so hard to find as this was a dining hall and Luke's doesn't have seating around their counter. PS- you can ask for a free pickle!
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
Plaza Food Hall is the best place to eat in its area - so many choices, fast, and affordable prices. Amongst all the different food stalls, my favorite is Luke's Lobster. It's always so fresh and consistent, and just super delicious! The only con is that sometimes it's not easygoing find a seat.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved Luke's lobster!! Their lobster and crab roll are just amazing!!!!! The service was great and food is something to drool over. Why not 5 stars? This location is slight different from others. other luke's lobster location, if you order the trio, it comes with pickle and crab claws, this one doesn't but the price stays the same. I saw the sign that read, if you want pickle, you gotta ask for it. the taste is still good! it was a bit hard to find the entrance as this was in the basement of a hotel/residential building.
google avatar

Yelp
Had the lobster soup, it's perfect for a cold day or even a hot summer day like today! Jay helped us and honestly I rarely give 5 stars(for food with a big price tag )but he made me and my friends feel so welcomed that I just had too. Price: $9.80 was a little pricey for a small soup but worth it! Customer service: 10/10

Yelp
This nice little establishment is located in the food court of the plaza hotel. It was right around the corner from the hotel I was staying at and very conveniently located for me. The place had a huge line so you could tell it had accumulated quite a following over the years. I got a crab roll and my friend got a lobster roll with extra meat. I have to say the real value is getting the the extra meat. You don't get any more bread just more meat piled on your sandwich. Definitely worth the upgrade in my view.

Yelp
This review is my wife's opinion...the best thing about this place was the toasted bread. She was under the impression the crab and/or lobster would be hot. It was served cold with melted butter(that was cold too). Just overall not impressed.

Yelp
Luke's Lobster is one of those spots that's been on my Yelp bookmark list for years, a place I was always curious about, but not so curious that I ever wanted to go out of my way for it on a any of my visits to New York. It turns out that it blew up during those years, with so many locations that one presented itself when I met my husband Matt B. for lunch at the Plaza Food Hall. It was a nice-looking stall (the whole food hall is very attractive) with a long marble counter and a menu written in colorful chalk. There was a line to order, not inordinately long, but long enough that Matt had his lunch in a bag by the time I got up to the register. The cashier was pleasant, but moved things along. There was a whole team crammed behind the counter, and they all seemed to keep very busy. Matt witnessed the cashier ringing me up and asked, very rudely, how I had managed to spend over $30 on lunch for one at a food court restaurant. It's easy, it turns out, when you've been wanting to try a place for years and are unlikely to come back any time soon. I ordered a Luke's Trio with a side of cole slaw and a small lobster corn chowder, as well as a Diet Coke and some kind of bottled lemonade thing for Matt. I even debated adding a half lobster tail to my meal for another $5. I also got a pickle, though that was free--you just have to ask for it. After all that, I thought the food was kind of anti-climactic. The Luke's Trio was a sampler that came with a half lobster roll, a half crab roll, and a half shrimp roll. They were all fine, and I appreciated the variety. I might've found them a bit flat without the extra crunch and vinegar from the slaw and pickle. The lobster roll was the best of the three. It was good, just not anything special. I was also underwhelmed by the chowder, which was kind of thin and bland. I didn't dislike Luke's Lobster, but I doubt I'll seek it out again, seeing as I don't even live in New York. It's a fine quick spot for a lobster roll, but it's expensive for food court food and just not especially exciting.
google avatar

Cara Y.

Yelp
Lots of lobster meet! Very full with a lobster combo with claw and unsweetened lemonade drink. But to be honest, i dont think the lobster comes with the bread. The bread comes with the butter.
google avatar

Claire W.

Yelp
The best part about my Taste of Maine (1/2 lobster roll, 1/2 crab roll, 1/2 shrimp roll) were the buns - toasted to perfection. All the meats were extremely salty and cold. I wish there was a better balance. The flavor was not bad though. However, given that the portions are tiny (though filled me up) and that the combo was almost $23 with tax, I do not think I'll be returning. If you're craving for lobster, you're better off going to Burger & Lobster for a larger sized $20 grilled/steamed lobster or lobster roll. Thanks Luke's, but no thanks.
google avatar

Susan B.

Yelp
OK, turns out I'm a chegan (very occasionally cheating vegan) I had a gluten free lobster roll as a special treat because this place was so highly recommended by a friend. Also Coleslaw which was quite light. Only negative would be lack of lobster salad and it would be perfect.
google avatar

Helen H.

Yelp
Taste of Maine- half lobster roll, half crab roll, half shrimp roll with one soda, one pickle and a bag of chips I loved every bite of the rolls. The bread was buttery and toasted. The seafood was fresh. Of the three rolls, I loved the crab the most- the meat was sweet. It's definitely pricey, but worth it.

Yelp
Walking around NYC with my wife, we stopped into the Plaze Hotel Food Court to warm up and just window shop. When we saw the food court had a "Luke's Lobster," my wife remembered the great food she had in Boston and we decided to try it in NYC. Wow! We went for the Triple Sampler, small sandwiches that included crab, lobster, and shrimp. The bread was perfectly toasted with a hint of butter. The meat was phenomenal and we found ourselves fighting over the last bites! Whether you're in Boston or NYC, give this place a try: it's excellent!
google avatar

Melissa O.

Yelp
Just okay. The chunks of lobster were fresh and tasty but the rolls are really small and we couldn't distinguish between the plain version and the truffle butter version. I mean, if you put truffle butter on something, I should be able to tell. Slaw was a good accompaniment, if a bit too vinegary. Sodas are really unique and I loved them - and I am not a soda drinker at all. Service was super friendly. Prices were high for the amount of food, but that's what you get in NYC. I mean, in a way, I was actually happy not to be super stuffed - but I do think they were overpriced. Glad to have tried it (first lobster roll!), but I will have to have a better one some other time, like when we visit New England.
google avatar

Justin P.

Yelp
Staff was really nice! Food was even better! Sucks that there weren't enough seating and the prices were a bit high but you are definitely pay for the ambiance and the location of where it was (Plaza hotel). But I got a lobster roll and that was pretty delicious!!!! There are many locations of Like's lobsters but this was one of the locations where I enjoyed people watching. Not sure if that helps with your decision to eat here, but food was great.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
I've been an enthusiastic supporter of Luke's Lobster for more than a decade, since their first tiny little shop opened in the east village; I like how their lobster meat is never overcooked. Whenever I order a whole lobster at a restaurant, I always ask for it to be steamed or boiled for three to four minutes less than they cook everyone else's because I hate when lobster meat gets bloated (e.g., the ends of claws which to me can become quite repulsive)... I prefer "toothsomeness," and that's how they do it here. However, it seems this location has their refrigerator temperature three or four degrees colder than necessary, because the chilled meat is much closer to "cold" than feels appropriate; in particular, it makes the truffle butter (seasonal, optional, highly recommended) recongeal, and like cheese, I think it tastes best near room temperature...
google avatar

Yelp
I love a good lobster roll and Luke's Lobster definitely did not disappoint. It's located in the Plaza Food Hall, which is a cute buzzing food hall with lots of fun restaurants and treats. The atmosphere was great, standing bar seating was plentiful. It was a great "New York" feel for a lack of a better way to describe it. The prices were a bit high, but it's expected because 1) it's a lobster roll & based on market price 2) it's New York City and everything is a bit overpriced in more touristy areas. That's the only reason I took off a star. Pricey menu aside, their seafood is so fresh! I've had a bad lobster roll at some joints and the weird seafoody taste is definitely not present in the one I had at Luke's Lobster. Their buns were toasted perfectly, clam chowder was warm and cozy, and the extra lobster tail was divinely dipped in warm butter. Yum... Would definitely stop by again if my bank account looks to be on the fuller side!
google avatar

Stella S.

Yelp
The Plaza Food Hall is pretty cool. I got the Luke's Trio which is half a lobster roll, half a crab roll, and half a shrimp roll. They were all so so SOOO good, but so small. I thought they would be much bigger (I'm a small girl with a big ass appetite), so it was disappointing because I was left wanting more. But despite that, I would still come back! They didn't have tap water for me to review (I'm sorry, guys), but their blueberry lemonade was good! Reminded me of Half and Half Arnold Palmer.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
This is hands-down the best place to get crab rolls! I first tried a lobster roll in Boston and was very disappointed in its taste but my coworkers told me about this place so I got the sampler which comes with half a lobster roll, half a crab roll and half a shrimp roll. The seasonings for them are amazing! My favorite's the crab roll, then the lobster roll and finally the shrimp roll. Definitely get the sampler to figure out which one you like best. It costs $21 before tax. It comes with a choice of drink and chips. You can save a few bucks if you order the Noah's Ark which basically comes with two of everything you would've normally gotten in the sampler. My favorite drink is the blueberry one. It's such a unique taste and it's not too sweet. Next time, I'm just going to order the entire crab roll by itself which costs $13. I highly recommend coming here. You will love it!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Not a fan of the seating arrangements, they discourage you from eating at their counters. Apart from that the staff is quite friendly and prompt. I thought the roll I ordered tasted delicious. Compared to the price point elsewhere in the food court and in the neighborhood, I thought the prices were quite reasonable.
google avatar

Derek Y.

Yelp
I'm realllly hesitant to give four stars because of how cheap I am and how I'll likely never order a lobster roll again, but the fact remains that if you are the type of person to eat lobster rolls... it's pretty damn good here. The lobster chunks aren't lacking, the bread is warm and toasty and most definitely buttery. The price is... high. Given the fact that it's small and $18 (pre-tax) I can't begin to fathom how some people eat this for a meal. Even with chips and a drink the roll itself is tiny, so not sure what's going on there. My mind can't really process the fact that the roll cost more than many full-sized entrees in most restaurants, but still, the roll was delicious. There are generally no seats in the Plaza, so keep that in mind, but that's not on Luke's Lobster.
google avatar

Shambavi K.

Yelp
Fast service. Just get the trio! So worth it to try all 3 crab, shrimp, and lobster on your 1st visit.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
When you're craving a lobster roll, come here. I tried the sampler consisting for the shrimp, crab, and lobster rolls. The lobster roll was my favorite. You get a good portion of lobster. The roll is toasted. Service was quick and friendly.
google avatar

Kaya Z.

Yelp
Always good, always fresh. Luke's never fails on the seafood-fix mission. Don't bother to go to a fancy sit-down seafood place if you are in a rush, get a jumbo style roll instead. To me, it's equally satisfying.
google avatar

Danan R.

Yelp
Solid lobster rolls in the Plaza Food Hall. The rolls are very lightly dressed and served on toasted brioche buns alongside either Kettle chips or poppyseed coleslaw. The combos also come with a drink, which includes Mexican cola! Overall, it's not too steep for the Plaza - I highly recommend the Trio which comes with half of each of the lobster, shrimp, and crab rolls for a nice sampler.
google avatar

Laura O.

Yelp
This particular Luke's Lobster is located inside of the bustling, high-end Plaza Food Hall, which seemed to feature mostly bakeries. I am not normally a huge fan of lobster rolls, especially $18 lobster rolls, so I've walked by many a Luke's without giving it a second thought. Now that I've tried it, though, it'll be tougher not to stop in. We both ordered a classic lobster roll, which featured big chunks of decadent lobster, a swath of mayo, and "secret seasoning" that tasted a lot like Old Bay. Clearly, every ingredient is carefully chosen to create a delicious, balanced roll. Even the bun, all toasty and buttery, was integral to the experience. We also had a Luke's brand blueberry lemonade, which was sweetened with honey. It was quite tart, and tasty. And we rounded out the meal with salt and vinegar chips. There doesn't seem to be a lot of seating in the actual food hall, unless I just didn't see it. Luckily, if the weather's cooperative, you have roughly 843 acres of outdoor dining space just across the street.

Yelp
Luke, you had me at lobster roll. If you know me at all, you know that I'm a fan of lobster rolls and if I'm in a new city, I will seek until I find the best lobster roll. Fortunately for me, I did not have to look far in NYC - my fellow Yelpers led me to Luke's. I chose the location closest to my hotel, which happened to be the cute little food court at the Plaza Hotel. I found and happily ordered my lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder and a side of chips. Delish, delish, delish. Nom, nom, nom. Fresh delicious lobster and good portion size as far as lobster rolls go (I've had ones that were smaller at twice the price). The clam chowder was great too. If I had one minor critique, it would be that the roll is a bit dry, it needs a little warm, melted butter on top or the bread needs to be buttered - just needs a tiny bit of grease. But other than that, it's phenomenal. I will still take a dry lobster roll. As long as there's lobster in there, I'm pretty much set :) Friendly service. I will be back again and again. And I suggest you go there too.

Yelp
Great place for a quick lobster roll fix. Located in the food court below the Plaza Hotel, it is convenient if you need a quick meal. Menu options are lobster, shrimp or crab roll and clam chowder. Can get several combo mixes. Lobster is the best. Lobster roll is priced reasonably at $16. Add a drink & chips for $3.00. I heard about Blueberry hand pies but they were sold out. This is a food hall. Seating is scattered around in several places. You can get chocolates, yogurt or pastry desserts from other vendors.

Yelp
Good Lord this place is such a tease! Personally, I find it rather difficult to walk away satisfied from having only one roll. I don't know how you people do it. This location can easily be missed as it is inside The Plaza Food Hall so make sure you make your way downstairs to get there. Lobster Roll -- Ultra juicy pieces of chilled lobster on a buttered, toasted bun. They serve it with just a dash of mayo, lemon and spices. After taking my first bite, I understood the hype behind Luke's Lobster. Not only are they not chintzy on the lobster but the lobster itself tasted extremely fresh and of great quality. They don't drown the lobster in condiments and simply let their main star shine. The 380 calories were worth it. Muy delicioso! My advice? Take a few to go and eat them while enjoying a walk through Central Park.

Yelp
Food is great! I honestly prefer the crab roll over the lobster roll but lobster roll over the shrimp roll. The roll is so buttery with the perfect crisp. The employees are friendly. No complaints. Sampler is definitely the way to go for first time customers.

Yelp
Gota love east coast seafood! We got the Noah's Arch. It was very tasty. Could have been a bit bigger. But keeps you from over eating. They advertise their coleslaw but it was just ok. Pretty bland. Good selection of sodas and beers. We'll come back, maybe this trip.

Yelp
I had Luke's bookmarked for awhile. I didn't make it there on my trip in December but I did make it in February. My boyfriend and I wanted to try other things in the Food Hall so we settled on the Trio Sampler and a cup of Chowda'. We also asked for complimentary pickles. The soup was good- not the best I've ever had but hot and fresh. Now for the rolls: The shrimp was okay not my fav but my boyfriend's fav. I'm a diehard lobster fan and thought the lobster would be my #1 but it was actually the crab roll that was the standout. It had a ton of flavor. NOTE: The bread is served warm, the topping cold, and they drizzle hot butter on it. It was a little pricey and not the absolute best but definitely worth trying and forming your own opinion. Seats in the Food Hall are first come, first serve and lunch time can be busy...

Yelp
I've tried the lobster and crab rolls here and they were the BEST! Before I tried the rolls here, I thought the best was Lobster Rolls from Old Port Lobster Shack in Redwood City, CA (they're still good but can't beat Luke's!). I wasn't a big fan of their crab rolls, but their lobster rolls were super fresh and tasty! The sauce and the meat blend so well together, melted in my mouth like heaven. I can have 5 of them by myself, and I am having watery mouth just by thinking about it! If I ever visit NYC again, I would definitely come back here for MORE!

Yelp
Delicious, buttery lobster in a toasted split top bun/roll/yummy-bread-thing. Yes, they add mayo. No, it doesn't at all detract from the lobsta. I always opt for the lobster roll with bbq chips on the side. The combo of sweet from the lobster and tang from the bbq chips and the super crunch of Cape Cod chips really gets things going for me (if you know what I mean). This location is pretty good at stuffing your roll with adequate amounts of meat but sometimes the staff gets a little stingy and your lobster intake suffers. The clam chowder is pretty tasty but the container always seems child-sized. Follow it or your roll with a slice from Lady M's, which is also in the Plaza Food Hall. If you're really into Luke's...I mean REALLY... ask for one of the frequent visit cards. Free roll after awhile!

Yelp
Luke's lobster roll is absolutely delicious with the perfect lobster, perfect seasoning, and perfect bread!! If you're looking to try a quality lobster roll, definitely check out this place. My only complaint is that $18 for a lobster roll of this size is a little too much to ask for. It might be the same size or a little longer than the palm of your hand and especially since it's so good, it'll be gone pretty quickly!

Yelp
I was recommended to come here based off my girlfriend's love for the other location. She swears by the delicious lobster rolls they have so I just had to give it a shot. We ordered the lobster roll, chips and a ginger ale, the usuallt combo they offer. I must say there was a lot more lobster in that roll than I expected. The roll was stuffed to the brim and the chips and ginger ale were great compliments to the meal. Overall the experience was great and I enjoyed the roll a lot. The seasonings and taste of the lobster meat was about as fresh as you can get. I wish I took down the name of the ginger ale we were drinking as well because it had a nice spicy kick to it! For the price it's not bad, $20 is a bit steep for the size of the roll, but sometimes it's quality over quantity.

Yelp
Looking at the menu, the triple sampler is definitely a better deal but we came for the lobster and got only that. We got two lobster rolls, one was the winter special white truffle roll, which I enjoyed more than their regular one. I highly recommend the winter special before they stop serving it! I think it was $18 for one lobster roll, which was pretty pricey considering how small the roll was. You can eat the whole thing in like 4 bites. But still definitely worth it as it was the best lobster roll I ever had. Such big pieces of lobster in that buttery toasted bun. I wanted another roll as soon as we finished those two. Since there's so many locations around NYC, there's no excuse not to try this place out.

Yelp
The rolls are delicious. I had the Taste of Maine which is three half rolls of lobster, shrimp, and crab. Super good on a toasted bun. Good variety to select from. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty lunch! Cheers!

Yelp
As a disclaimer, I've never had a lobster roll before. But I knew I wanted to try them after I saw them and how soft and buttery the rolls looked and how fresh the lobster looked. ATMOSPHERE: It's located in the plaza (hotel) food court, you can enter it from the street across from central park and it's so nice!! All of the food booths are so cute and perfectly blend into the prestige and fancy-ness of the hotel but you can tell each place is unique and probably picked well. The yogurt place is like a gourmet yogurt shop. FOOD: We got the noah's ark for two people. It's a good sampler although I wish they were a little bigger but it comes with chips and soda. One thing my boyfriend liked was that they let you choose their special sodas, not just a fountain soda. We got the blueberry soda - so tasty! You can really taste the blueberries. Lobster roll was my favorite. It wasn't overly buttery like I was expecting and perfectly sweet and meaty. The bun perfectly soft and toasty. AHH so good. I guess my only thing would be that it could have a little more sauce or some lemon. The crab and shrimp were also very good but next time I'd just get the lobster roll and devour it on my own :) Seating is around the plaza, some granite tables, some tables located near the stairs etc.

Yelp
Love Luke's Lobster. Especially within the Plaza Food Hall. Luke's is the best bang for your buck, in a Hall full high end decadent desserts and mediocre expensive food. Their buttery rich lobster rolls are sensuous, unique (with claws and tail meat), and served Maine style. Order their meal set option and the roll comes with a soda and a bag of chips. Its well worth it.

Yelp
They just don't make lobster rolls like they do on the east coast. Sure it may cost an arm and a leg, but there's something so perfect about the butter, the ratio of lobster:bread, the crunch to the roll. Be careful... you can end up spending upwards $25+ on just a lobster roll and clam chowder. But I think it's worth it. This location is especially good because of the plethora of other things around. You can get some cake, some coffee, and spend all day eating in the plaza!!
