Milwaukee Avenue was temporarily shut down by the police superintendent after shots were fired into the building at 5 a.m. on Sunday; this was the second violent incident in six months, following an October exchange of gunfire that left one of the gunmen dead and prompted the city council to ban overnight parking on the 1400 and 1500 blocks of Milwaukee.
