I went past Thursday and Friday. Service was excellent. Lady helping was polite, smiling and welcoming. Went today Monday. A guy helped me.. service was very basic, not as welcoming. Last week I got 3 sauces. Today there was a paper with handwriting charging $0.80 per additional sauce… I skipped the 3rd sauce. When paying I was not offered to enter my phone number to get rewards/points. Which made a difference in customer service since last week the lady did mention that every time I paid. Good customer service makes you feel they care, but not today. Anyways food is great, but will probably stick to PokeNash, more welcoming, and no charge for any sauces.

Google
I tried The Poki for the first time today, and the girl working was very sweet! I got the regular sized Build Your Own Bowl with chicken, brown rice, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, pineapples, edamame, carrots, toasted sesame seeds, and yum yum sauce. The food tasted super fresh, and it was the perfect portion for lunch. I will definitely be back. 😋

Andrea H.

Google
Love this poke place! Super fresh fish! I did the build your own bowl with Hawaiian salmon and it was so delicious. Lots of topping options and sauces to choose from, the drizzle oil on top is also a nice touch. Will be back!!

Neil L.

Google
The food is done incredibly well and to perfection. Boba is also entirely amazing and the workers are the kindest people ever. They treated us with the upmost respect and gratitude.

Phene W.

Google
As someone who is picky about fresh fish, this place was perfect. People are complaining a little bit about the price but truly I think you get a lot of food and it is high-quality. Think of it as a chipotle bowl but with fresh fish!

Chanon M.

Google
Food is delicious and the people are always happy and helpful! I have been eating here regularly for years and it’s always great!

Samuel S.

Google
It was good. I wish the marinated tuna and spicy salmon had been lighter on the salt, however, that would be my only complaint. Everything tastes fresh and the food is quite light.

Google
I had a large bowl with white rice, soy tuna, salmon, tuna, spicy salmon, edamame, cucumber, gochujang, house shoyu, and unagi sauce. They have a selection of fresh fish, vegetables, and tasty sauces with amazing toppings to pair. The bowl was delectable however the large bowl was so packed I had to bring it home.

Yelp
Great food and service! Easy parking, plenty of seating, fast service, and plenty of options to customize your bowl.

Yelp
This is the freshest poki I have ever had. Everybody is incredibly nice, the restaurant is clean and organized too! My orders are always consistently phenomenal as I have been coming here for years, I love the poki!!!

Yelp
3 scoops of protein in a regular bowl is REVOLUTIONARY!!! This restaurant was so cute and clean inside it was a great place to meet with my friend to talk over some poke. service was phenomenal as well, very helpful and I was served with a smile. I would recommend to anyone searching for poke in the area!

Yelp
Came in after lunch rush about 2-3pm. Place was nice and clean but fish was not good. The spicy tuna was almost brown and tasted old. Regular tuna was ok and salmon was slimy. It was expensive for how little fish you get in each scoop. Even the additional toppings were extra which is fine but if you're going to charge extra for avocado at least let it not be browning. The rice was good and the options for different premixed flavors on some of the fish was interesting. Though not sure they combined well with additional sauces. I was surprised to see they had framed by reviews about how good they were on their wall. Looks like they were from 5 years ago. Overall it gets the job done but wouldn't try again.

Sam S.

Yelp
The service and the food was rotten. The young female that was working 10/16/24 around 4:30pm has a terrible attitude and should not be around the public.
google avatar

Yelp
Got the smoki poki. It was nice bowl but I wasn't impressed by the torched chicken. i definitely regretted not ordering something with seafood. There was nothing wrong with the chicken but next time I'm ordering the classic king tuna bowl. Main complaints is the tiny water cups. Staff was really nice and friendly. I butchered a joke about how many puffer fish were killed to make their sign and they laughed politely. The customer is never wrong,, but they can tell terrible jokes. God bless the staff for at least trying to laugh. Definitely coming back to try the classic king tuna though. Will try again and get more of a proper seafood poke.

Casey T.

Yelp
very expensive and hidden fees in the toppings including avocado, seaweed salad, among other items. The bowl was already $20 Before tax. after all was said and done I had a bowl of rice, a small amount of salmon, some seaweed salad and a $27 bill.
google avatar

Yelp
Super fresh a good ingredients, clean restaurant, and helpful and friendly staff. They have a lot of options in terms of ingredients. While there are some standard options I recommend doing a build your own so you can customize based on your preferences. Their sauces are really good, and they have more options in terms of sauces and flavored oils than most Poke places. Definitely a great spot for poke, and I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
THEY DON'T GIVE THE EMPLOYEES TIPS IF YOU USE A CREDIT CARD! There's a sign with a tip jar for cash that states, "Employees do not receive the money if you tip on a credit card." That is so lame.
google avatar

Paul M.

Yelp
This is one of the best poke bowls anywhere. Some interesting toppings like chopped up Serrano peppers and watermelon radish. I always go with Octopus/Salmon/Spicy tuna three proteins. They have a punch card as well you can fill up for a free one after 10. It's right by where I work often. Big fan!

Yelp
This place does not poke around! I have spents months in Hawaii on military assignmemt and the Poke more than holds its own. In fact, it is probably the best poke I have had im the continental United States! Nestled in a modest building in Brentwood, Poke is unassuming. You order at the counter and choose among two sizes of bowls, base rice, proteins, toppings, sauces, and garnishes. The dried watermelon is the most unique topping. Everything is fresh and well sourced from what I could tell. The symphony of flavors in my bowl was delightful, with a spectrum of sweetness to saltiness and spiciness and blandness. Most enjoyable, reasonably healthy, and less than twenty dollars. Poke purists will note that the flavors are far more varied than the simply fish and rice found in Hawaii. But that is the beauty of innovation and building off of a platform. The Poke achieves this, and to them I tip my Hawaiian hat.

Yelp
NOPE!!! Used to be one of my fav dining spots. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill since late 2022. The quality of food, quantity, and service has gone down significantly. The only thing up are prices, which are frankly, very overpriced for $15.95 for a small bowl of low quality ingredients. The last straw for me was when my kids refused to eat their food. They usually love it, and kept asking to dine here. I took a bite from their bowl and I almost puked in my mouth. The salmon was extremely fishy tasting, and the rice was dry and old.... And they drowned the other bowl in so much sauce to mask the fishy taste and dry old rice. If you are going to charge premium prices, please deliver premium ingredients and service levels like how the former The Poki used to be.

Yelp
I'm the type to love sushi, but the seafood has to be fried. I came to this place and just stepped out my comfort zone regarding the seafood. Raw tuna and all that jazz... it was incredible. Super fresh. Also the Kani salad... 10/10. Very very very good. Check it out.
google avatar

Samantha L.

Yelp
This was one of the best Poki spots I've been to! The ingredients were very fresh and they do not skim on the protein.

Ashley R.

Yelp
When I went, I was the only customer there which is always a weird vibe. I think the food itself was good but the portions of fish you get are really small.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
Quickly becoming one of my favorite places. Super friendly staff and fresh food. The sauces here are ON POINT! I have only ever gotten the small tuna bowl. But it is so good I don't need to try anything else. I love that you can add extra or take away items. And the staff always suggest their favorite sauce combo so it's easy to try a new flavor rush.
google avatar

Yelp
I love poke and have been wanting to try this place for a while! They were out of white rice when we got there, but the brown rice was just as soft and chewy. They have a large array of toppings and give decent portions of protein; I got spicy tuna and salmon, both of which were fresh and delicious. My complaints are 1) there's a 5 count limit on how many toppings you get, and 2) the price is very high. There's other poke restaurants in the area that give you unlimited toppings for less. For two large bowls and two drinks, I paid $50 (ouch). If we got the regular size bowls, we would've gone hungry. I know it's Brentwood, but for an $18 bowl, I should be able to fill it up with veggies! Something that I thought was unique was the option to add infused oils to your bowl--I recommend the truffle infused oil.

Yelp
I'm already a huge fan of poke so I kind of already knew I'd like this place. Stopped here around lunch time for a take out poke bowl. You have the option of choosing from one of the preset bowls or making your own. I decided to make my own which was kind of nice since you can customize each thing to all of your favorite ingredients! There's also lots of options for the toppings and dressing. The rice was just the right amount of sticky (makes it so much easier to eat with chopsticks), and the salmon was delicious, as salmon always is. Got the classic shoyu for my dressing - it was good and I'd definitely get it again although some of the other options also looked really good so maybe I'd try those out. Definitely satisfied my poke craving, although perhaps a bit pricey for the size. If I lived a little closer, I'd probably be back more frequently.

Yelp
Good service and friendly staff But if you know poki this is mediocre at best. Everything was so so .. would not come back.

Yelp
Okay so until recently I hadn't had poke in YEARS. I was too afraid to eat it on the east coast because I lived out West and had zero faith in what I would get here. I love this place! Everything is fresh, the options are clearly labeled by dietary needs, and the staff is patient (when I'm unable to decide what all my proteins should be). Bless them! Any-who, yeah, it's the spot to go if you want to get good and fresh fish. My bowl was pretty awesome. I had no intentions of having poke while busting Nashville. One of my girlfriends insisted that this place would live up to my standards too just as it did hers. The cherry on top was that they had all the best toppings fresh too like ginger, pineapple, edamame, wasabi, carrots, and tons more. I do wish they had more gluten free sauces though! Something creamy would've been right on!

Yelp
It's not bad, just not great. Place is clean, and well decorated, but the bowls just missed fir a couple reasons. I tried the tuna that had some special seasoning mixed in...honestly the tuna wasn't great. The flavor was ok, but it was poorly trimmed, and i had to spit out a bunch of bites of tuna due to the un-chewability. Secondly, they are super stingy with the extras. Like you only get to pick a couple toppings? Maybe i am just use to pokemoto in gallatin who trims tuna beautifully and gives u unlimited extras. The bowls at this place just lack in creativity because of the limited toppings. 3 stars almost 2.

Yelp
Solid 4/5 - this was a pleasant surprise on a work night in nashville when i wanted something light and casual - this fit the bill and it wasn't high either :) +1 - food was clean, visibly prepared in front of you, the fish had good taste and was not in heavy smell, all good signs of a fresh fish experience - key for great bowls +1 - staff was friendly and patient and worked to help me get exactly what i wanted on spice, bitterness and meat +1 - there was plenty of parking outside to get in, no concerns there +1 - inside was very clean - you could see that (and smell it too, not in a bad way though) it is smaller inside to sit in so be mindful when you plan for a lunch or dinner hop when you intend to sit down

Yelp
One of my favorite spots to get poké in Nashville. It's easy, fresh, delicious & quick service. I can eat two meals off a bowl, but it's so good it's hard to not want to eat all of it in one sitting! I always get my orders to go, but have always had a good experience. Love that I can get this quick bite and feel good about my choices :)

Yelp
I loved how clean and bright The Poki was when I walked in. I chose a build your own bowl and the server was so helpful explaining their gochujang tuna and all the add-one. I loved that they have oils you can add at the end! This was something I've never experienced before at any place. I chose truffle oil but there was also: garlic, sesame, and other fun varieties to choose from. The fish was fresh and the serving size was a good portion which is so important when getting poke bowls. I loved that the server didn't shame me to ask for more of the same topping (since you're limited to 5 toppings for a build your own bowl) as I've experienced that at other poke places. Luckily I have no shame asking for more! Right now they have a special going on where it's a Nashville hot chicken bowl!
google avatar

Yelp
This was the best pokey I've had ever. The portion sizes were great, the topping choices were plenty, the staff was really nice and explained some questions I had. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This is my favorite place in the world. I cried the night before I moved in to college because it would be my last time having it for a while. Poki is wonderful, fresh, and delicious. Everytime I come home I get a Poki bowl. I ate it twice a week for like 6 months. MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT
google avatar

Yelp
I am really happy The Poki opened. Nashville finally has a poke option that has variety and authentic, fresh ingredients. The staff were super helpful in guiding us through the options and making recommendations - the staff genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. I got the traditional poke with a couple of small modifications - fresh rainbow radishes, edamame, and one scoop of salmon. That gave me a good cross-section sample of the ingredients without overwhelming my palate. (Did I just type that? Is That even possible?) Everything consisted of fresh, quality ingredients. The mix of textures and flavors really hit the spot. If not for the really cool Nashville mural on the wall, I might think I was in Waikiki for lunch. I look forward to returning soon!

Yelp
This was an awesome experience. I would have given 5 stars if I actually got what I ordered. This restaurant was near my hotel and offered Grubhub delivery. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast. I ordered small 3 protein bowl with brown rice. I ordered tuna, yellow tail and spicy tuna. Unfortunately I got salmon instead of regularly tuna. I am just not a big fan of salmon. The bowl over all looked yummy and colorful. All ingredients were fresh. While this was the small bowl it was hardy. I made my own with brown rice, cucumber , edamame, carrots, toasted shallots and shoyo sauce. It was great and highly recommend.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday for lunch and was so impressed! It's an unassuming little hole-in-the-wall in a strip center. The layout is very open and clean feeling. The menu is easy to read and straightforward, which I appreciated. I opted for a Gangnam Tuna bowl and the lady behind the counter helped with suggestions for the different things you could add. The food was fresh and flavorful and I got exactly what I wanted. Although it doesn't LOOK like that much food, trust me, it will fill you up! The woman I spoke to said they are planning a second location soon in East Nashville, and I can't wait! We live on the north side of town and would definitely go out of our way to come here on a regular basis.
google avatar

Yelp
Nashville is lacking on the Asian food scene, so this new poke spot is a great addition to the suburbs area. They are very new, so I was the only one on this chilly night. There were lots of great topping options, and the bowls are a nice size as well. For the price, you are getting a good amount of fish with delicious toppings and sauces. I was hoping they had a wasabi sauce of some sort, but the sauces seem to be more on the sweeter side to cater to Nashville taste. I got a large bowl, with many toppings and a mix of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail fish. The gojuchang sauce was a little too sweet, as was the shoyu sauce. I liked putting siracha in my bowl, and the meal went down nicely with my topo chico. The large bowl was perfectly filling for dinner. I really hope this place does well, as I will definitely be back next time I'm in Nashville!
google avatar

Yelp
YES! Finally, a poke spot that rivals one some of the best on the West coast (Los Angeles, Las Vegas). The Kani (imitation crab mix-in, +50 cents) is actually finely gauged and shredded properly - *not* the peeled apart thick surimi threads you find in most amateur poke shops. This is huge to me, and makes all of the difference. It's all about the Mix-ins and Toppings! So many appealing Mix-ins and Toppings to choose from here. The Classic Shoyu is my favorite dressing. The only gripe I might have with The Poki is the fact that you are limited to 5 Mix-ins. Many of the highest rated shops out West are unlimited mix-in spots - and many even offer free self-serve miso soup and roasted green tea. Regardless, I am thrilled to have found this place, and I will eagerly and proudly spread the word about The Poki to all. Looking forward to eating at the East Nashville location, too!
google avatar

Kelli K.

Yelp
Not too bad... I wish they had more of a variety on their menu, but it's nice to build your own bowl. The rice with sesame oil and soy sauce was really yummy. The fish tasted fresh. I had them build me a bowl with what they think is good. It wasn't the best poke I've ever had, but I'll give them another chance. They're new and just getting the ball rolling. I'm thankful to have poke in Brentwood.
google avatar

Tammy P.

Yelp
Had a tuna poke bowl yesterday and had histamine poisoning within 1 hour. I have eaten here many times without issue, unfortunately, it cost me a doctor's visit yesterday.

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch spots in Williamson Co!! Always fresh, best service and super healthy! Can't get enough of The Poki! P.S. get there early and ask for crispy Brussels. They run out quick.
google avatar

Victoria T.

Yelp
They didnt give much fish, or veggies and toppings, but they did give us lots of seaweed salad and kani crab meat. The fish scoop was very small, but overall the bowl was pretty good when mixed together.
google avatar

Steph R.

Yelp
Delicious and very fresh! Great location and friendly staff. Coming from a Californian, I was very impressed by the freshness of the fish!
google avatar

Kiko B.

Yelp
A change in management has resulted in a very noticeable downgrade of this once stand-out Brentwood establishment. No quality control, inconsistent product availability and lack of cleanliness. Combined with higher prices and smaller portions I won't be returning.
google avatar

Shirley C.

Yelp
Delicious poke bowls! I've gone multiple times and the only time I was not satisfied was when I ordered one of their signature bowls (everything decided for you), so I recommend building your own. Not only does this give you the freedom to select a variety of proteins and mix-ins, but I also like how you can choose multiple sauces, toppings, and oils to add further flavor. The fish and veggies are always fresh although customer service can be hit or miss.
google avatar

Robert H.

Yelp
From the second my girlfriend and I walked in the place, it was obvious how well run it was. It was extremely clean and the staff was super friendly and give us great recommendations. The portions are really good compared to other poki places and the prices are lower as well. The quality of the food was extremely good. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I have frequented lace for a few years now. I have seen so many changes as of late. Initially the ingredients were well stocked with the exception of the brussel sprouts. They generally ran out by noon m-f and didn't serve them on the weekend. Over the course of 2022-23 I don't know what's happened but it seems as though they don't care about keeping ingredients replenished. I've gone twice in one week and they are out of some basic things like spring mix and mango. One employee said mangos are expensive so we're out of them . I went back two days later they are still out and offer no accommodations just told me that's just how it is in restaurant business. Never in my life will I understand why someone doesn't hold someone accountable to make sure they have what they have been most known for to do business. If I had a customer that repeatedly asked for ingredients you can best believe I'd be making sure our ingredients remain stocked and fresh. This place just doesn't feel like they really care about the customers being happy. I think I'll be looking for another place to have Poki.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Super good! Went for lunch with some coworkers. It's a small place with a few tables against the wall, but super clean aesthetic and very friendly staff. You have lots of options and they make your bowl as you go down the counter line. I opted for spicy tuna and salmon on rice -- you get your choice of white, brown, or spring mix as the base for your bowl. Next, add your choice of veggies -- cucumbers, radishes, corn, cilantro, green onions, sweet onions, masago, edamame, and much more! Then, you pick a sauce and they toss everything together to top the rice. I opted for house shoyu and ginger aioli on the side. You can add avocado, seaweed salad and a few other things for a small up charge, and the final step is picking some "textures" and oils. I got sesame seeds and crispy garlic, with sesame oil and chili oil. I've been similar places, but this one has the best selection of toppings and awesome friendly staff. I've added this as one of my new favorite lunch spots in Brentwood.

Yelp
This is literally my favorite Poki place in Nashville. It's always super clean in here. The employees are so sweet and helpful. Everything is always fresh, I love how they have so many options for toppings. Literally can't rave about this place enough. Everyone needs to go and check them out.
google avatar

Adam C.

Yelp
Overall a very good place. Food was fresh! Came in with my family and ordered 6 bowls of poke with no complaints. Only things I wish were different: - more fish in a serving. They use like a tablespoon per scoop of fish and with 3 of them (regular size) it's really not much meat for $13+ - No extra charge for seaweed and imitation crab...
google avatar

Ira W.

Yelp
Excellent sushi. The bowls are great. I always plan to get there whenever I'm in Scottsdale.
google avatar

Britney T.

Yelp
My first time going and it was delicious! It's in such a cute little nook in town. The service was very friendly and helpful. They had a good array of proteins and sides to choose from for the poke bowls. Everything was fresh. Instead of throwing everything into a bowl, they took the time to beautifully and thoughtfully construct each bowl. I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Rachelle C.

Yelp
Poki places in any town is a great addition to have. This place was clean and the ingredients were fresh! Staff was also super friendly! They are allowing dine in!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been wanting to try out this place-It was my first time, I came by myself and everyone was so helpful. I made my own bowl and it taste amazing. It was fresh and spicy just the way I like it.

Yelp
Even if this food sucked I'd still come here because the customer service is OUTSTANDING! Fortunately it's INSANELY DELICIOUS! Super fresh fish, big portions for the price, the sauces and add ins are great. So glad I finally got a chance to hop in! I got the spicy tuna bowl but with the cubed tuna and added in jalapeños. So excited to make this a regular spot for fresh healthy quick meals!
