I’ve lived here going on my second year and I had been more than happy with the staff, property, and my apt. This was where I had wanted to live for many years and I’m thankful I was given the opportunity to. Amanda, Victoria, Lexie, and all of the maintenance men have been nothing but helpful! You can tell they take pride in their property and community and it shows. They’ve gone out of their way in many occasions, one being when times were hard on everyone they made sure to provide a box of food for everyone with kids. I have never been in an apartment complex that cared about their tenants and community vs caring only about rent. I refused to live in big complexes for many reasons but so happy I decided to come here and give it another shot. I am very proud of where we live and enjoy living here. Thank you for all that you do!

they illegally allowed us to apply for an apartment that wasn’t available and illegally refused a full refund. did i mention they broke the law? edit: after great persistence and patience, the refund did come through eventually, quite a while back actually. i’m still upset at how difficult they made it, but at least they don’t have my money lol. idk if it’s possible to un break the law but i consider the matter resolved so. to reply: no, you do not follow all legal housing guidelines if i have to pester you for weeks to be returned fraudulently acquired funds. you did break the law. and on top of that, you became incredibly rude the moment we didn’t accept an apartment we didn’t apply for or want. real class act. i appreciate the resolution, but the nasty behavior on the part of your employees remains to have happened. bad business practices effect people’s real lives. i’ll say it again: bad business practices effect people’s real lives. this isn’t a problem to be solved anymore, you mistreated a real person and it can’t be undone. that’s what reality is like.

The staff at Polo Club is great. Amanada has helped me out and took her time explaining things to be which I appreciate. I visited shortly after the big storms and the property looked very well kept. I was impressed being I visited other properties and they still had some damage. This place is definitely worth the visit and a good place to live.

I wouldn't knock the polo club ever apartment complex has police at it. this apartment complex appears as a gem compared to many others. Especially the on that I came from around the corner. I really like it hear besides the issues with birds I hope that owl decreases the population soon .... Very helpful office staff and very friendly with the maintenance crew cory. Very friendly... My main issue is with the people who live at this complex. I don't feel safe walking my dog at night. The police have been in the complex multiple times and we've only been here a couple of weeks. The place smells of pot frequently and the kids are never supervised. The windows are quite thin as well so outside noise is easily heard. There was a lot of damage in my unit when we moved in. Kinda feels neglected and run down, which is disappointing for the price. My suggestion to you if you are interested in this complex, would be to come and visit a few times at night throughout the week. Parking is difficult, and a covered spot is not included in your rent. Walk around and see if you like what you see. Here's a fun update! Because people are not picking up after their dogs, the complex is threatening to either up at the pet rent or establish a no-pet policy entirely. See email below. Living here is truly hell and we are trying so hard to raise the funds to break the lease. To up their ratings, employees post five star reviews. I liked you Cassandra 😑

Lexi helped us get our apartment here! when we first moved in there was a few things wrong with the appliances but Maiwalk fixed all of it within a few days,thats really the only issue we had here, other than that so far everything has been good and it's peacefull here, all the ladies at the office are so nice :)

I lived at The Polo Club for a little more than 3 1/2 years, until the time that I purchased a house in the nearby neighborhood. I moved to Mesa from Paradise Valley and was worried about the conveniences I was used to - shopping, freeway access, neighborhood overall as I was expecting my first child. I loved The Polo Club. My daughter rolled around the community in her stroller while I walked my dogs on the sidewalks that weave through the property. I had a garage which was a Godsend because I can't part with ANYTHING so this gave me a cool car for my infant and storage too! Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious and had more closet space than my three-bedroom house! I recently recommended a friend who was asking about reputable places in the area. I was happy to hear that a familiar face in the office had returned since my departure, now as the manager. The Polo Club is a great choice for an East Mesa apartment. (Photos are from a couple of parties the management hosted. I loved how they worked so hard to do nice activities for the residents)

I have lived in 5 or 6 different units and live here for over 14 years. With all apartment complexs there have been up abd downs with change of management and maintenance. So far since Amanda has been back things are just getting better and the office staff is super nice in getting answers you need . And maintenance does get the job done even if it takes a couple of days. It's not the Biltmore.. but I a am still depicted some dad experiences from the past .

I was super nervous to move into my new place after reading the reviews, but then I remembered people typically don't write good reviews- only bad ones lol. Lexie and Victoria have helped me in so many ways, and it's my first time being on my own. My place is super nice and everything has worked really well so far- they even made sure I had brand new carpet before I moved in. Much love to Lexie and Victoria for always helping me out

I'm sadly still a resident, but for the cost of apartments, and living these days..... I'll take it.... This place is ok for bachelor life, I don't know how I'd feel having a family here. Since being here I've kinda just done my own thing and not complained much.... However, there's def a lot of things wrong with this place. For one if you don't have a designated parking spot which will run you a extra 15 a month good luck parking. For some reason every resident here has 2 running vehicles and one broke down one that hasn't moved since 1995. The office really doesn't do too much to hand out permits, or try to figure out a way to regulate the amount of cars parked here that aren't running or aren't moving. I had to get a designated because I would get home at 2 am sometimes from djing and I'd have to make sure I have my hiking stick with me because I was parking in the dark forest..... seriously, you'll get stuck in the back of you're lucky, if not you'll get stuck at the next apartments over parking. When I moved in we had a pretty bad leak in our ac which created black mold. They came cut out the hole, then nothing..... we had to patch it. Eeek.... Our fridge went out and ruined our groceries.... They said they would reimburse us, we never saw that. They told us to not keep the fridge so cold, that would fix the issue..... mmmmk.... Our dishwasher went out and after complaining for months we got the cheapest thing on the market installed. Leaves watermarks and is as cheap as it can get.... Our toilets and showers get backed up maybe once every 4 months, no worries the maintenance know about it and have a plumber come clear the everlasting plugged line. My drain was not draining for awhile and I complained, eventually I had to clear it myself, because I had learned at that time there was no maintenance of staff for a couple months. After that we got infested with roaches.... We had to dig a couple times, and spray... we had to keep bugging the front office because the girl that works the front desk kept forgetting to schedule us for fog and spray. I still have hornets nests outside my back door which I complained about that 2 months ago. If you can over look all that and know you're paying a pretty decent price for a place this spot is for you! Do keep in mind there are cop cars here a couple times a week it seems like. It really has gotten worse in the last 5 months it feels like.

I feel like the overall reviews of this place is a little lower than it deserves. Honestly we have a pretty nice apartment considering the price. It's a large 2 bed and the neighbors are all pretty chill. We haven't had any issues with bugs or mice maintenance is pretty quick with emergencies. I think my biggest complaint is it's sometimes a hard to get ahold of the front desk. They rarely answer the phone so if I need something I usually just go up there. Parking is a little crowded too and it kinda sucks you don't get an assigned spot but otherwise we've really enjoyed living here!

Tried emailing for a tour and never heard back from anyone, when I called they did not want to schedule a tour unless it was days in advance. The girl was very rude and clearly did not want business. Explains why they have such bad reviews.

I have visited and have been shown how dirty this property has become, especially live in the back of the complex. It seems as if the front office and maintenance are only concerned about how the front of the property looks which is a shame. There is trash and especially dog poop all over the place in the back. My friend's apartment is very tidy and clean and she still has had roach problems. The Polo Club most definitely need to start holding their tenants responsible for this crap, literally including the suspected housing of unregistered dogs on the property.

Don't recommend this complex, nice floor plans and affordable but front office is no good! Average at best and oh if you need maintenance they will take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to get to your request or they may just never show up. Breaking the lease to get away from this mess of a place. Would never recommend anyone to move here!!

We were very excited to start our lives together, we searched and searched for a place to call home. Going into the main office at the polo club we were immediately impressed by the kind outgoing bubbly faces we were greeted by, Cassandra (leasing specialist) and Tracy (property management) gave us an instant feeling of welcome the way you'd hope for when viewing communities. Cassandra was very ready to help, she was able to lay out initial cost and monthly cost honestly and fully. In the mean time they both treated us as if we were already part of the club and related to us and our needs on a personal level. The community is clean and extremely quiet, the units are huge and beautiful. We are overjoyed to say we Live at the Polo club and part of the reason is the fantastic staff that cares for the property and all residents!

Greedy lying scums. I lived here for about 10 months and nearly every single night there was a loud TV in the room besides me. Quite literally kept me up every single night and it was shut off finally at 3 AM and I could actually get some sleep. I could hear the TV through headphones. they never did anything about it. I would run off three hours of sleep most of the time all living here because of it. there's dog crap everywhere, and I mean everywhere. there's no designated parking unless you wanna pay for it, so if you're a woman like me and you get off work at 11 then good luck.

They need to change this app where you ca give a business no ratings. I seen on a app they were renting. I find 3 different numbers. I spoke with someone finally and the person said the were leasing. And couldn't give me anymore info. Polo is on my way home from work so I decided to stop by. While speaking to the person at the front desk a woman came out from the office to interject her 2 cents. She said yes their leasing in March. I reply there's 2 apps including your website say there are openings and you have a sign out on the sidewalk that say lease now. She no it don't.

The front office has been very helpful. I have lived here over a year now and have never had trouble with communicating with the front desk and the manager has always been very helpful. I needed assistance with rent at one point and they were willing to work with me which I really appreciated.

Happy to say I will finally leave this month. Don't rent here they just raised rent and don't even have maintenance available. I have submitted 5 maintenance requests since July and nothing was resolved. I understand some aren't urgent but I think hot water in the kitchen is pretty important. So it's funny to me they can't fix my issues but can just raise the rent. Also parking is sooo bad I think if you're paying your rent you should not have to be driving around waiting for a parking spot.

The front office really does a horrible job at making sure the maintenance comes. I put in a request to fix my shower head about 3 months ago on January 4th. It is now April 1st and they're still saying "I'll check up on that." I also put in a pest control request last week since bugs are coming out of the tub that hasn't been used since the shower head is broken and they failed to do that also. Seriously ridiculous and frustrating. Seems like they're incapable of printing out a paper and giving it to maintenance.

I'm writing a second review with a lower rating because I can't deal with it anymore. **don't live here!!** A few months ago a small rodent chewed a hole through my ceiling in the living room, I taped the hole closed and they sent pest control in who put a trap in and confirmed whatever was up there is gone. It has been months and I am just living with a hole in my living room, because maintenance hasn't fixed it. This morning, I get woken up to another animal chewing in my bedroom. I can understand one time, animals get into walls but I'm starting to think they have an actual problem with rodents and no one wants to take me seriously. I went to ask how much it would be to get out of my lease and the lady at the front didn't know and it doesn't give a price in the lease, god forbid anyone work any holidays at a place that should probably be open daily.

I have lived here since July of last year. The maintenance is a joke. You put in a work order and get told it will be done by the office and the maintenance people. At one point my dryer went out and I had to ask if I could get a corporate number before I finally got a working dryer over a week later. I am waiting after 4 months for the same things to get done. I still have a hole in my ceiling from when the rain started leaking through 5 months ago. Water heater is still broken and making noises it shouldn't. Smoke detector that shorted out and left flame marks on my wall has not been replace after 3 months. If you move in here, just pray nothing breaks. It could be when your lease is up before anything gets fixed.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. My wife and I moved down here for work and found this place on Zillow. The pictures were very deceiving from what they had posted to what the apartment actually looked like. As we needed a place to move to we didn't have the option to look for a place prior to our move from out of state and we put our deposit down for here. Our first experience was when we got our keys and took a look around most the electrical did not work! The closest light, hall light did not work and the bedroom light flickered like a wire was loose. I changed the lightbulbs and it seemed to be the outlet's. The faucet in the shower was not installed so we had to wait for maintenance which took 3 days to come fix our shower faucet. The dishwasher did not work and was not screwed in so whenever you went to load it the whole thing would tilt forward and the soap dispenser would not open during the cycle. The parking is absolutely horrendous good luck finding parking after 4pm. If you can't find parking polo club managment will tell you that you can park down the street In The church parking lot. I'm sorry I get off work at 1:30 in the morning and you want me to walk 2 blocks to my apartment that I'm paying for. You must pay extra for parking as your unit does not come with at least one assigned parking space. Everything is an extra charge including your online payment which has a processing fee of $30. Upon our move in we set up our utilities just as they listed on the contract. Three weeks later we got a knock on the door from the gas company stating we had not set up our utilities. I showed him our SRP number and then he stated I needed to call mesa gas. I called and since this was during Covid nobody was working at mesa gas office. I finally got a call back after several emails implying I needed to set up my gas. This is where I came unglued. I was told that the gas had been running for the month prior and they had put a lock on the meter and I must have cut it off!!! Now I have no reason to do such a negligent thing nor would I know which gas meter goes to which apartment. I tried to work with polo club management and mesa gas and my options were a felony for tampering with city gas or pay a $450 dollar fine for something I never did. So I paid the fee as I couldn't deal with a criminal charge for something I did not do and my family needed hot water and heat. This 9 month's has been a complete nightmare and we are terminating our lease to move elsewhere as it is intolerable to live here. The walls are not insulated so your utilities will be astronomically high year round. Barking dogs throughout the day and night. It is literally the worst experience we've ever had living somewhere. The cost is not worth what you are receiving. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

This complex is okay...This is me and my fiancés first apartment and we choose it due to the prices of 1186 for a 1 bedroom a month now as of sept 2022 they raised it to 1300+ for the 1 bedroom and that was almost the price of the 3 bedroom but it's definitely not worth living here for that increase in price there is a leak coming from my wall that is causing mold in the carpet and management came to look at it 2 days after they said the carpet guy would come and fix it but he never showed so I called the leasing office and they didn't remember that the day before I talked to them and they said they would have the carpet guy come in the morning when I called they also said they would call me back but never did so I went up there and talked to one of the girls that was new that was there when I talked to them the first time and I reminded her she was there and she just said "yea I don't listen to the conversations that are had here" like ok then get a job somewhere else! But now a couple weeks later no updates or calls or emails on the mold situation in my apartment... and When I moved on back in febuary I made a request for someone to come check my washer cause it was shredding my clothes and still never has been checked till this day and also when I said I had a leak in my apartment she said oh from the ac like it was normal and are whole apartment flooded and it's mandatory that is one bedrooms they have to come no matter time or day and they said oh we will come tomorrow and we have one bathroom so couldn't use that bathroom at all we had to go to the gas station and at first I thought it was because the carpet people were not open. 24/7 but I asked them and they said they are and they should have came lazy lazy LAZY also last thing PARKING IS HORRIBLE ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT! 2 stars is very generous.

My husband and I just renewed our lease. We have been very happy here at the Polo Club. The management and staff are wonderful and easy to work with. The operate this place with kindness and integrity. The floorplan we've had is unlike anything we've seen in the valley. It's been wonderful calling this place home.

Management team always come through for me whenever I have any issues that require maintenance. It's an older property, but the staff maintains everything nicely. The property has been remodeled nicely and has most of all of the AC units on the property replaced this year. I love the convenience of being just minutes away from the 202, the US 60, and the 101, as well as the Lightrail. Great for those searching for an all-inclusive and affordable place to live. This is a very family oriented community. I absolutely love living here. I have been here for 4+ years. The maintenance staff are great, the pools are well kept and refreshing. This is a wonderful place to live.

I really enjoy living here. In spite of the hecticness of upgrading, refurbishing and generally converting all the apartments, one by one as people move out and move in, the staff is really friendly and do a great job dealing w/ the pain of it all. My A/C went out and I called the maintenance number. It was after hours and Anthony answered the phone at his house. I told him that it was 90º in my apt and I needed it looked at. He apologized that he couldn't do any work as it was 30 min 'til sundown and maintenance wasn't allowed on the roof after dark. He did, however offer me a portable A/C unit. Anthony drove, 30 min, at a moment's notice to my place w/ the portable unit and set it up. Although it was VERY expensive to operate, it brought my apt down to 70º!! I used it sparingly, w/ the windows open and it wasn't too bad. After he set up the cooler, he assured me that he'd be back in the morning to assess the issue. The next day it was discovered that the compressor went out. I was gone at the time so Anthony left me a note saying he'd back to make the repairs the next morning between 9 & 12 noon. He was exactly on time at 9 and all the clunking on the roof stopped at 12:30. I left for work and when I got back, the A/C was fixed along w/ a note explaining all the repairs that he'd be back to get the portable unit and also that he'd set my thermostat to 79º. It was beautiful inside. Anthony was prompt, fast, professional, courteous and thorough. Anthony...Thanks again! ~ Mike

This is an okay place to live. The area is generally quiet and the floor plan is spacious. The problem lies within Management in the maintenance crew. They take their own time to respond to maintenance calls. I've also had problems with him picking up the phone. I generally communicated with the managers by email. But there's a new manager who is rude and disrespectful her name is Tracy. She actually argued with my husband over how long are AC was broken for. Our AC was broken for a month and we weren't the only ones having issues. Parking isn't a problem if you pay for a covered space. That was suggested to me when I least the apartment to begin with. If you're looking for a place short-term or up to year then this would be fine. But longer than that and they seem to care about you less.

We loved living there until they changed management. Our washer flooded the apartment but the office wouldn't be bothered to answer the phone. When I ran in there, the guys wouldn't even lift his face to look at me. And it took an hour for someone to come check it out. They guy they sent walked up to me smoking a cigarette, which isn't only unprofessional, but also very rude considering I was very pregnant. The maintenance crew (1 guy) wears street clothes and looks like a bum. It took over a month for them to fix the garage I was paying monthly for (the opener didn't work). When we moved out, we were told by 2 managers that the carpets had to be replaced due to age and that we wouldn't be charged. Now they are trying to come after us for cleaning fees. I am so happy to be out of there.

Some of the review i have read here on this site....i have never met nor seen nor agree with the fantastic reviews of being here for 5+ years...I've been here for 3 years, and really thought about renewing my lease for a 3rd time....i was not sure sure i wanted to stay in AZ....I choose to stay and renew but i have medical issues and requested to be released from my lease till 8/18 and was advised i need the co-applicant to remove me from the lease and then roommate would have to apply to keep the apt......my roommate lost his job and so even if he released me from the lease....i would still have to be responsible for the whole lease. I even Begged to release me and i would pay the early release fee of 1600.00...when i signed the orginal lease i was the person qualified with my income....then added the 2nd person because i had to....to let them stay due to their financial difficult problems. Why is it that either way i'm doomed to have an eviction on my record? The management don't offer any solutions, Tracy the "manager" even wanted me to leave the office when i raised my voice...(i was upset) should i just bow my head and except the outcome?????
