The Porch

Stopped in earlier today on our way to pick up a puppy. This place has a wonderful family environment, excellent food, and incredible service. Whether you’re here all the time or just passing through, I highly recommend you stop here for food/drink!

I went into The Porch for the 1st time today. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and thier carrot cake. I have never had such amazing carrot cake. Hands down the best! The sandwich was delicious also. 😋

The service was great! The people were great, everyone kinda knew each other and the staff. Small town caring vibes from all. A gentlemen who finished eating, showed my kids and a I video of his baby bison playing in a sprinkler as we waited for our food and we really enjoyed that. The decor they have displayed for sale was very funny and cute, I bought my mom a cutting board and the owner sweetly walked my son in the heat to hide it in the car before she came out of the bathroom (my mom was visiting from SoCal) We stopped by since we dropped a dress to get hemmed in Pablo cedro (we live in west Redding originally from SoCal) My kiddos loved the “steamer” thank you Pablo cedro and The Porch!

The Porch is amazing! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious! The atmosphere is awesome! Great place to hang out with your girlfriends for coffee and a bite to eat. On Wednesday’s they do wine night (BTW wine and beer available all the time), but Wednesday they’re open late and have specials for food!

The breakfast burrito with red sauce and the avocado toasts are fantastic options for vegetarians. Highly recommend this place.

Right when you walk in you feel welcome! The Porch is comforting, homey, and bright. Delicious drinks, food, and baked goods. My family and I have been here multiple times and it does not disappoint! Todays apple baked good was hands down my favorite treat so far… also 5 year old approved! Can’t wait to eat here again (:

I have been here probably 5x now. What struck me and made me want to write a review was seeing how they treated an elderly man today. I brought 3 little girls in to hang a poster for a local performance. I watched as they treated this gentleman like family. Then they turned and made the girls feel so special. You just can't get this level of service from Starbucks. The times I have been in here to eat they helped me out with my allergies. I really needed gluten and dairy free and they were so helpful to make sure I could have the food. I recommend their soups and coffee.

The food was good although I thought kinda small portions for the price. (Most things are these days but ..) what I did order came promptly and was good.

The definition of a beautifully-done, small-town local experience! Anna and family have created such a charming spot for gathering and dining. This is a bright and cheery, spacious atmosphere. Everything is nicely decorated and immaculate. The local flowers on the tables are a lovely touch. We especially love the kids corner with the toys. My little one loves to go straight over when we come in. There is a merchant corner that features local artisans: a great place to grab some nice gifts! Ordering at the counter keeps it simple and there is tons of seating available. Food is breakfast/brunch/lunch items. Some of our go-to items are the apple nut salad with chicken added, the breakfast Sammy, waffle, the fruit and yogurt bowl. Everything is made to order so it's all freshly prepared. Oh! How could I forget their always changing pastry/treat offerings!? The "Not a Cookie", carrot cake, scones, all amazing! They offer beer and wine as well if you'd like a mimosa with your brunch! Come check it out if you haven't yet, you'll instantly fall in love with the small-town charm, friendliness, and fresh food.

I was at the nearby dentist waiting for my husband and decided to check the place out. They have very cute artwork as well as gifts and other things that you can buy. I ordered the London fog and the cranberry - lemon scone. The drink was amazing and the scone was very soft and fresh. The service was good as well. Nice to have a little place to go when waiting a long time for my husband to get out of the dentist

The first time I came here was great. I think it was a grandmother and grandson working. Food great, service was great. I just went there today trying to find the right coffee shop to grab a coffee for my cousin. There was a blonde and brunette women working about my age maybe younger. The blonde was so rude. I will never go back because of her.

Terrific place to go in PC for lunch. Americano coffee, Turkey sandwich (hot or cold), side of potato salad (like homemade! :) and top it off with a homemade chocolate chip cookie. I'm drooling again. I will be back.

Well, i gave you a bad review, and you obviously weren't happy with it. You answered back, by blaming me for having a bad day?? The fact that you remembered me doesn't excuse the bad service. Did you notice how long my order took ? Or the terrible tasting coffee drink I had. Im supposed to not say anything bad, because you're a small business? I wrote this, so you could maybe do better. You sure enjoyed writing me back and blaming me for the bad review. I wont be back. An apology would have been a better way to handle a bad review. I write great reviews as well. I was in the service industry for years, and i would never blame the customers for a complaint. Do better

I love this place! Great healthy food! Wonderful place to come get coffee or delicious homemade desert too! I would recommend this place to anyone.I grew up in the restaurant business.

The Italian grinder sandwich and potato salad was great! Workers were friendly too. Changing out the harsh fluorescent lights might make the space feel more cozy and inviting though.
