Paul Qui’s Richardson Taqueria Shutters After Less Than Six Months - Eater Dallas

"Portuguese peri peri chicken has arrived in Plano thanks to a new shop called Porto’s Peri Peri. The restaurant made its debut in October at 2301 North Central Expressway in Plano, and it’s now serving up roasted whole chickens, wings, tenders, wraps, and bowls, all marinated in peri peri spices." - Amy McCarthy

Google
I love Port of Peri Peri, and while searching for halal food for a family dinner with friends, I came across their Plano location and decided to host our gathering there. As always, the food was great, but the biggest disappointment was the disposable cutlery. It was quite embarrassing that anyone trying to cut their chicken ended up with a broken spoon or fork. What started as a frustrating experience turned into a shared joke, as one person after another faced the same issue and could not enjoy our meal. It was truly disappointing for a dine-in experience. This restaurant should consider providing proper stainless steel cutlery so customers can fully enjoy their meals.

Google
I got chips but there was no seasoning on it. Rice was so dry. Service has to be improved.

This place use to be good. The chicken is clearly burnt. Also Got a wrap and was terrible. Maybe it there was ownership change. Not coming again.

Google
Food and service both were really good. They did mess up one order by making it hit instead of mild but overall, great smiling staff members and food was prepared fresh. Their fountain drink machine was out of order so they were offering everyone free bottles of water which was a nice gesture. Food is halal so that’s another plus for anyone looking for another halal option in the area.

Google
Its one of the first places to look for a quick and healthy dinner. Chicken is always very delicious and good amount of available parking outside. Sometimes it does take a long time to receive the order. Fries are delicious with the peri salt.

Google
I ordered a paneer wrap which was $12 no sides. This is what they have me. There was 2 small pieces of paneer inside and was thrown in the bag. So disappointed. Don’t get any wraps, clearly they don’t know how to properly make them. Like what is this???

Google
I love this place I will be back to try more things on the menu. Really cool that you can mix sauces. My favorite combination is hot/lemon herb. There are an abundance of sides. Drinks are available to, I usually stick with water. the portion size was very good. A lot of bang for your buck. Clean facility, friendly staff couldn’t ask for more.

Google
Fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and get your food delivered to your table. Food is quite good - recommend the peri peri fries! Veg burger is dry but they have garlic sauce and hot sauce you can add. Paneer and rice was my favorite - quite flavorful. Perimayo corn is also quite good.

Yelp
Service was underwhelming. They ripped me off by 34 cents but I didn't make a big deal of it. Just know that if they ripped me off they probably did it to the other customers too Food was under cooked. The chicken wings was so under cooked. Juicy? Yes but not fully cooked. I only had an hour for lunch. It took them 30 mins to cook the wings and still wasn't fully cooked. Took me another 5 mins to reheat to cook the wings when I got back to the office and only another five mins to scarf down food and go back to work. I also ordered extra fries and that was $3.50 extra. It was an expensive lunch. I prefer nandos peri peri better

Yelp
Great chicken, incredibly juicy. They don't have the variety in sauces and sides, which would make them better than Nando's. They could definitely benefit from more sides like mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, etc. The chicken was definitely more juicy than the one at Nando's by far. Service was good and place was clean.

Yelp
Was craving chicken and was curious about this restaurant. Came during lunch, they open at 11, there wasn't anyone there when I came closer to noon. You order food at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Decided to get the wings-medium with rice and corn. They were all out of the cassava fries. Wings were overall good. Had a nice flavor. The medium wasn't spicy imo, just a mild kid. The corn was good. The rice was rice, nothing special. Will come again and try their speciality chicken next time.

Yelp
I had port of peri peri the other day and ordered the Chicken and Rice bowl at cajun spice. The food was fireeeee. The way the chicken was cooked was the only problem i had as it was a bit tough. Other than that everything was righteous. The rice had good flavor and paired well with the spicy flavor of the chicken. If you go here the sauce is absolutely necessary. The garlic sauce and spicy sauce they serve is amazing. The garlic sauce in particular was great with the bowl and I would consider taking a bath in that sauce. Overall the food was really good and I will be coming back!

Zehra K.

Yelp
We go here atleast once a month because not only are they 100% Zabiha Halal but their food is great. There have a variety of sauces you can drench your chicken in. My favorite is medium spice because it is spicy and zesty without being overbearing. The lemon and herb is also very popular and great option for kids who don't like spicy. The sizzler is a must try and contains bbq sauce which pairs perfectly with the medium spice of the chicken tenders in the burger- all on ciabatta bread. Fries are always fresh and the peri peri seasoning on top is a must. They also have a popular garlic sauce- you can grab a bottle for dine in or get containers to-go. However, they get a 4/5 because there have been 1-2 instances where their leg and thighs have came out a bit undercooked and we had to request they go back on the grill for a few minutes. Also they rarely have silverware and often opt for plastic utensils which can be difficult to use at times. Overall, definitely worth the trip!!

Yelp
OMG HOW HAVE I WAITED SO LONG TO HAVE THEIR CHICKEN. This chicken has depth of flavor but is also burn-your-mouth off good in the best way. It is memorable, unique, delicious, and so good you will finish your entire plate. The entire time we sat there a steady stream of people were coming in to pick up their orders and take them to go. This chicken is so good you want to eat with your hands and get the sauce all over your face. You could come in and get this on your lunch break to eat it as a guilty pleasure. You could take a date here. Or you could take your friend to impress them with your amazing palate and food efficienadoness. And yes, this restaurant makes that a word. Try this chicken. Don't even think about it. Take your friends, take your family. Fight over the bill. Just come.

Yelp
The grilled chicken was delicious, and the service was fast and great overall. Will be coming back!

Yelp
It's a shame to have to make this review particularly because everything besides my issue was above average for sure. I spent around 50 bucks on my order and somehow they forgot one of the items that was literally on the receipt stapled to the to-go bag. I brought it up when I'm back the next day to spend more money with them. After I gave them the order details they asked for which was to the T I might add, they still were not willing to add said menu item to my order or reimburse me.. not even an apology to me that's idk.. crook-ish? In Ramadan especially you should be better

Yelp
Walked into port of peri peri on a Thursday evening after having one of the worst dining experiences in Plano earlier in the day. We placed an order to go of 12 wings, medium spice, and extra wet. It took about 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready. The flavor of the wings was top notch. There was an ample amount of sauce and the overall ratio of the wing to sauce was impeccable. The meat was fully cooked with a hint of charcoal flavor which was scrumptious. Port of Peri Peri never lets down. Cheers!

K K.

Yelp
There was a bad odor as soon as I walked in. Did not end up ordering. I feel like smell is indicative of cleanliness, and I can't eat at a place that doesn't smell good. It almost smelled like mold, but not sure. Hopefully they fix it, because I was excited to try Portuguese food.

Yelp
We love nandos and were in search of something similar here. This place is really good and the flavors and spice levels are amazing. You can choose the level of spice you prefer! We tried the original chicken platter which is a whole chicken with 2 large sides. We took it in the medium and hot levels with Porto's rice and their version of elote called perimayo corn. We had leftovers for the next day!
google avatar

Heidi Y.

Yelp
Highly recommend the lemon herb chicken over any of the mild, spicy, etcs. The coke machine was out of order. The fries were unavailable. We got the corn and rice as our sides--they were both good. The chicken was delicious

Yelp
Porto's or Port of Peri Peri, it's a bit confusing but really who cares, the food was pretty damn good. We got the basics. Chicken and Rice for myself and the fair Lady. The offspring younger chose chicken tenders Jr meal, not enough protien quantity but the carbohydrates from the accompanying fries filled the void and the offpsring elder chose a chicken burger a quarter of which was stolen by a parent who shall not be identified for my protection.... We got the chicken hot and medium. There is a hot sauce you can add in the side to enhance flavor along with a white sauce which everyone seemed to enjoy adding copious amounts of on their food. For the flavor of champions, mix the red and white sauce and dip your chicken generously. Imo get medium platter and add the hot sauce to taste as it allows for more sharing. Coming back for sure!

Yelp
A knock-off Nando's some might call it, but that's not a bad thing at all in this case because Porto's delivers all the succulence and zest we expect from Peri Peri chicken! The chicken is huge, meaty, juicy, and smothered with delicious sauce. I recommend ordering them to mix the "Lemon Pepper" and "Mild" sauce for a zesty flavor that has a kick. I loved that the skin was left on for maximal flavor. The "Fries w/ Peri Salt" are a must order. The seasoning explodes in your mouth in the best way. The fries are perfectly cut and fried so you get a fluffy fry with a golden crunch. The "Perimayo Corn" had all the creaminess you'd ever want. The "Peri Peri Rice" is subtly seasoned and has a magnificent fragrance; it's ideal for mixing chicken into and eating in one bite. Condiments wise, the "Garlic Sauce" and the "Fire Sauce" go hand in hand. I could eat the rice with those two sauces drizzled on top and I wouldn't even need the chicken to be happy. No need to bemoan that Nando's hasn't reached the US when we've got Port of Peri Peri to serve us.

Yelp
This was my first stop at the Port for Peri Peri. I was hoping to get an interesting chicken dinner. The Port delivered! I ordered a hot chicken bowl with rice. It was VERY spicy. I am glad I ordered the Mexican Street corn side dish. I cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and mixed the corn into the rice. This added a creamy sweet note to the spicy chicken. One word of caution: I was the only customer at 6:45 PM. I am unsure why they were not busier. I loved the white dipping sauce for the chicken!

Yelp
As student who is currently taking ServSafe exam soon. I saw one of burger half burger that I ate then I noticed it have one hair in it. I was like why is there hair in burger until I look at chef who is cooking and he has no hair net on it. So I decided to not make any scene about it. And wings are delicious.

Yelp
Extremely rude. I came from out of state, and was excited. Krishna was extremely rude. I'll never go back, and I recommend going to a different location, or not even eating here.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Porto's because there is NO NANDO'S in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Porto's isn't Nando's - not anywhere close (and I just ate at Nando's 2 weeks ago, so Nando's is very much still on the brain). But it's not really fair to compare Porto's to Nando's because, well, they're Porto's. It's important to note Porto's is still new and still working out some kinks. It's a little confusing to spot where to order when you walk in for the first time - a sign "order here" would be awesome. I ordered the wrap and it was pretty tasty. I definitely needed to add sauce for heat and flavor. From that perspective, next time I would order hot on the peri-peri scale. I had selected "medium" based on Nando's reference, but Porto's is a bit milder. The peri-peri dipping sauce that came on the side was very spicy and the garlic sauce brought good flavor without garlic nasty after-taste. If you love the peri-peri, give Porto's a try!

Yelp
Starting with fire almost as hot as their sauces, this chicken first halal restaurant attracted the masses with their claims of the elusive Peri Peri Chicken warm for the masses. However, the attraction died down quickly, and let me tell you why. Their service on the front end is both stoic and unknowledgeable, making for an overall subpar experience, however they're saved by the kind kitchen and bussing staff. It's odd to think, but a smile here and some consideration there goes a long way in the experience. As for the food, the flavor was average at best. Grilled Chicken is brushed with a sauce that mostly cooks off and leaves a meager amount of coating behind. The chicken was cooked through but needed extra seasoning and sauces to really provide sufficient flavor. Their rice was home standard, and so was their corn. The only item that really stood out flavor-wise was their wings, which were considerably smaller than average offerings yet somehow more expensive, a common trend across all of their items. These sentiments were shared across a group of 5. Wrapping this all up, you could blame the lack of quality on demand, but I first experienced this on a empty and slow day much after the grand opening, one which was reportedly plagued with crowds and ill service, and don't see any reason to return. The prices don't match the product quality, and the expectations fell alongside it.

Yelp
This is my go to place. The chicken is always fresh and tasty. I think the one at Plano is better than the ones at Irving and Frisco

Yelp
The food is just ok but the service is the worst ever. We ordered 2 dishes. One came after 20 minutes and the other still didn't come even after another 30 minutes later! I ended up getting a refund and not eating. This used to be a good place, but the food quality has gone downhill and the extremely slow service made the whole dining experience intolerable. We will NOT be back unless something drastic changes with the management.

Mark M.

Yelp
To be sure, peri peri (African bird pepper) is not a chili to be trifled with. If you are uninitiated, start with one level milder than what you think you want. Maybe get the next level on the side until you know what you're dealing with. The meat here (I got 4 chicken tenders) is first coated in sauce, grilled, then has more sauce applied for serving. First bite of medium hot wasn't hot. The second bite built onto it and kept going. The hot raised a little sweat. Grilled chicken is difficult at best to keep moist under the intense heat of the grill. The result is that it comes out dry. That's the case here. You might do better with fattier meat like chicken leg and thigh. The sides are expensive but the serving is pretty big. Both the coleslaw and the potato salad were overly laden with mayo and lacked any distinctive flavor. They will not temper your experience with the sauces. In fact, there's nothing here to act as a fire extinguisher. No milk, sugar, citrus, ... NADA. Any other drink is just going to spread the heat around your mouth. I asked for some black pepper for the sides and there was none. They don't have it at all. Cashier even went next door to see if he could get some for me, but came back empty handed. Staff was nice. Customers tended toward the halal crowd and Indian subcontinent folks. Some like it really hot.

Yelp
They have the worst carry out service ever. Once you order, open your bag on their face, and dont feel hesitant doing it. Because once you leave, they will either not honor your claim that something was missing or if they decide to be a little kinder to you, they will want your full credit card info to process even a $1 refund. This is pathetic, who does this to their customers, that if they miss something in your order, they either ask you to come visit them in person; or give full credit card info over the phone. This is insane. They have good chicken but please ensure CARRY OUT orders are FULLY CHECKED in-store and make sure the RECEIPT and the order matches and you are not missi anything. Update on 2/7/2020: Again, unfortunately, for the love of halal, went to this location, praying I can have a happy carry out experience. But the hopes were badly shattered, AGAIN!!! In the beginning, they didnt put any sauces, white or not, at all and I luckily looked inside and noticed them missing before leaving the counter. Upon asking they gave me two half ounce dippings, one white one red. These are mcdonald's ketchup size. I asked for more as I spent $50+ dollars and was getting a big order with so much chicken. But manager told me she is not allowed to give anymore. She has been givenn so strict orders for not giving anymore that she kept arguing and defending the owner's policy for 5 minutes. I would have asked for a refund and could have returned all order, had I not spent 20 minutes waiting and having an excited and hungry family at home. How does it make sense to only give one 0.5 oz. white sauce for 2 whole chicken? I can understand that fir every $10 worth, do not allow more than one white sauce for togo, but for $50 order, at least 3-4 should be given as 3-4?people will be eating thee pieces of chicken at thee same time and each person should have his/her own dipping sauce. Seems like a common business sense is not so common among business owners. On top of that, manager also did not have a common sense to exercise a fair judgement and make the right decision. Oh well! Inna lillah e wa inna elaihe rajayoon! Thats all one can say after visiting this place.

Yelp
a hidden gem. i like the peri mayo corn better than any elote stand i've had in dallas. the hummus and pita bread was also very good and i underestimated the spice level of the chicken and rice bowl. i'll have to come back to try different items in the menu.

Yelp
While visiting family, we decided to check out Peri Peri in hopes that it could emulate my experiences at Nando's while abroad. Scene: This is a fastfood restaurant. Upon walking in, you are greeted kindly with staff at the counter where you are able to order. You are given a number to take to your table so that the staff can deliver your order to you when ready. Food: The food is very reasonably priced and the portions are quite large. Two of us bought the chicken and rice bowl that comes with 4 chicken tenders on a bed of rice. I bought the 7 chicken tenders---which was very filling especially for someone with a huge appetite like me. We then ordered some paneer for the table which was fairly good but not my cup of tea. For each of the orders, you are able to indicate how much spice you would like the dishes to come with (i.e. the sauce you would like). We all got a medium spice which in actuality was quite spicy! Customer Service: Excellent. Everyone there was very kind and friendly. One of the staff members came by to check on us to see if we were doing ok in the middle of our meal. They quickly brought over boxes to pack up our food when requested. Tl;dr: This is a good, reasonably priced option for fast-food if you are looking for simple food like chicken. Give the price point and the large portions, Peri Peri gets a 4/5 rating for me. If the ambience was better---perhaps like the Nando's restaurants---I would give it a 5 star rating.

Yelp
Not expensive, good food, quick service - can't go wrong. Chicken is delicious with all the garlic white sauce on top! They are open late so great for satisfying late night cravings or for filling up. Definitely a very filling meal without emptying your wallet. The front register was a little slow because the machines broke. I saw they have a self-help kiosk too that is not working. Would highly insist on getting those fixed because they were busy despite it being almost 9 pm when we got there. But food did not take long to come out because they were constantly cooking. Food was fresh and we got our food in probably 5-10 mins.

Yelp
Review date March 5, 2020 Food was good, tables and chairs were clean. But the bathroom was not good. The water tap handle was broken and restroom not clean. Service was good and food as always was good. I had lemon chicken and mild flavor. Medium and hot is too spicy for my taste.

Sabrina C.

Yelp
Let me just say, this place beats Nando's by a long shot. Don't come at me. It was so good; I found myself coming here 2 days in a row! Definitely added to my list of go to spots in Plano. Food: Ordered the whole chicken in extra hot - trust me you'll regret it if you order any other flavor. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, not too spicy for me. There's garlic sauce available on the tables if you need it. Hands down best chicken I've had in awhile, found myself licking it off my fingers, which is rare since I am a germaphobe, so that says a lot. Sides - Skip the cassava fries, they were bland for my taste. I wasn't a fan of the texture. But the seasoned fries were great and regrettably addicting. The corn was just amazing, complemented the spicy chicken wonderfully - reminded me of elotes. Coleslaw was also good, pretty generic, but nice to help cool down the chicken as well. Next time I'd just stick to the corn though. Service: Went in early Saturday night. It started getting very busy throughout our meal, upon which a server kept checking up on us - pretty much telling us we should hurry up and so they could clear the tables and seat others. She was extremely polite and we understood. During busy hours, not the best place to just hang out and chat as we brown folks have a bad habit of doing.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try this Portuguese/African fusion peri-peri chicken and i was not disappointed! Definitely something I've been wanting to try for quite some time and glad we stumbled by this place on our way to Zero Degrees. You walk in and order from the front, take a number and sit down. They'll bring your food to you. We decided to share the all for one platter (1/2 chicken, 3 wings) with regular hot level. I told the guy we were ordering from that I'd love to try the extra hot but i didn't want it to be too spicy that my boyfriend wouldn't be able to eat haha. Much to my surprise, he was able to bring out one piece that was extra hot for me and I LOVE IT. It's like the perfect amount of hot and greaaaaaat flavor. The portion size is pretty big! It says you can share with 1-2 people but we had some leftovers even. The side we chose to go with the platter was the rice and it was very nicely seasoned, and we also got an order of the corn, thanks to the recommendation! It kinda reminded me of elotes just cause of the mayo but the mayo really helps to cool down the hot flavor when you need it :3 Service was so A+, as well as the food and first time trying!! Will be back and telling everyone about it!

Yelp
This place has single handedly made me stop eating all fried chicken because it is so good.

Yelp
Got 1/2 chicken (turned out to be 1 breast and 1 thigh), plus 3 wings and a small side for nearly $15. Service: the cashier was kind enough to explain the menu and didn't push us to hurry. 4/5 Qty: small breast, thigh, even smaller wings that is only 1/2 normal size. Could be bc they use better quality chicken. But for $15, I really don't feel it's worth the price. Quality: got the hot, then changed it to medium per hubby's request. It was still very spicy for me. I wonder if they never changed it to medium. Chicken was juicy (thigh) and burnt nicely. Breast was dry. Fried was good, but yes not much to it. They were out of cassava fries. If we ever come back. We'll bring our own rice, cause we weren't really full eating here.

Yelp
I grew up eating peri-peri chicken in Mozambique and ate at the original "Peri Peri" café, a Maputo institution. The flavor at this place is pretty good and reasonably authentic. I usually order my chicken "hot." But I have seen service levels fall (short staffed?) and cleanliness decline over the last couple of years.

Yelp
Overpriced and over hyped . Order came 30 minutes late . Coleslaw was frozen . Humus was stale . Chicken was fresh cooked but whats the point when there is no taste ?

Yelp
New little place along 75 with counter service. They have fire-grilled Portuguese chicken with several different flavors options and sides. I ordered the chicken medium and a side of perimayo corn, which turned out to both be excellent choices. They give you three dips on the side, one mild white sauce, one slightly spicy, citrusy orange sauce and a spicy BBQ-like sauce. The chicken was nice and moist, with a crispy skin, despite being slathered in sauce. It had a nice, fire-grilled taste, accompanied with a spicy flavor that I can't quite describe, but that was really good. The white sauce was great to dampen the heat a little, but the orange sauce gave it an even better flavor (though intensified the heat). The BBQ sauce was ok, but overpowered the chicken flavor too much for me. The corn was mixed with a thin white sauce, which didn't bring too much additional flavor to the corn, but made the corn flavor feel more rich. It also was great to cool down my mouth when the heat got to me. Overall great food that I'll gladly get again.

Amber M.

Yelp
I went there for so many time they serve me cold food every-time when i tell them they microwave that too much so my chicken gets very dry and hard Whenever I go there I request them please don't messed up with my order that happened that time but still they wanna do the same thing and didn't accept that and argue with you I am talking about the Frisco one the management is very rude
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a dozen wings "Extra hot", cassava fries, and the house salad "Medium hot" to go (at the restaurant). Service was quick (10 mins) and the food tasted good. Only negative...the ranch dressing was very watered down.

Yelp
Please don't waste your time. Literally it's a 45 min wait almost EVERY TIME we come here. When we asked why the foods taking to long, the girl working at the front had a horrible attitude. "I don't have enough workers" she also said I quote "I so pissed off" (bc everyone was asking her. As someone whos been in restaurant management, maybe separate your to-go orders from your waiting customers in House! . Ridiculous and horrible planning on managements part. Hey guys, not angry or rude but just objectively letting people know, you are almost certain to waste a good portion of your evening waiting for your food here. Decent food, too bad they can't execute in a timely fashion.

Moeen A.

Yelp
This place is falling fast on our list of goto places. On 3 occasions now they have been out of white or peri peri sauce. It seems like a barbecue place not having barbecue sauce. And you find out only after your order has been placed and food arrives on your table. Surprise, no sauce TODAY. Wonder if that falls within halal behavior. The last couple of times the 'hot of the grill' chicken has arrived on our table semi-cold, certainly not hot. Last visit we saw our food coming off the grill and sitting on plates behind the counters for a good 7-10 minutes while the staff attended to other tasks. Leads to a bad experience unfortunately. We've decided not to go to this place anymore for now.

Yelp
The chicken was amazing and so were the corn and the fries for the sides. The chicken breasts were tender and good portion. It literally didn't take 5 mins before they served our food. Excellent service and cute restaurant. It's beautifully decorated. It's cheap for the portion and the taste. I wish it was closer to my home. I drove from Fort Worth, it worth the drive. Def will come back!

Marie T.

Yelp
It was our first time having Peri Peri chicken so we didn't really know what to expect. Based on the pictures, we were thinking spicy chargrilled chicken. The space inside the restaurant is surprisingly large and nice inside. The staff member who helped us with our order was nice as well. It took quite some time to get our order (20+ min) but it was only because a super large delivery order was placed before us. We ordered 2 leg quarters + rice + corn. Hot for him, medium for me! All items had some level of spice to it, which was great. The chicken was perfectly chargrilled and I enjoyed the heat. I tasted a bit of my husband's hot chicken and it was a little too spicy for me, so I will stick with the medium. This restaurant is on the east side of Plano, along the 75. I look forward to having this again!

Yelp
Food is still great But No Mask: Update July 2020- the cashier was not wearing a mask and when I asked her about it - she just said 'oh it's somewhere over here, it's just really hard to wear it back here because it's warm. She said that while the people who were directly in front of the hot grill cooking were fully capable of wearing a mask. She also seemed annoyed that I questioned her about it. My husband and I have made a concerted effort to continue supporting restaurants during covid but businesses need to do their part as well to ensure that they are practicing safe measures. ---------------- They still don't have their service completely together - seems a bit chaotic at times and it takes almost 45 minutes to get food. I don't believe this to be the case at their counterpart which is nandos. That being said if you don't mind the wait the food is great! We also love the fries that comes with Masala. You can also stop by beard papas which is right next door and has yummy cream puff dese

Yelp
Stay away. Awful service with bloody chicken. If you care about salmonella poisoning then stay away. These people cant even make a chicken right on top of it they have attitude issue.

Yelp
This restaurant CHANGED MY LIFE. Everything was so delicious! We had the mild chicken, fries, corn, and rice. I seriously could not stop eating because it was so good. I even woke up thinking about it this morning! I can't wait to take my friends here so their lives can also be changed by the incredible and delicious food!

Yelp
This way my first time to this place and I loved the food. Peri peri was on my list from a very long time and never got a chance to try it before. Nandos is associated with Peri peri sauce and heard great about it since 2009. We drove 30 mins to reach this location and was worth it. The Peri peri hot sauce and the garlic sauce were amazingly delicious. Chicken was perfectly marinated and nicely grilled. Rice was bit over cooked but was mildly flavored. Corn was equally tasty. Food was off decent portion. Extremely friendly staff, great menu to choose from and clean location. Would go back to try other options in the menu. Phenomenal taste can't get over it!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR EVERY FOODIE TO TRY THIS.

Yelp
I had a great time eating delicious food at your restaurant. The spice level was amazing and it felt so authentic! This was next level Mediterranean food, can't wait to come back again!

Yelp
Place nice clean but it's only day one They are Indian owners so let hope they can maintain the cleanliness of the place but I doubt it. The owner owns another restaurant in the area and does not keep it maintained very well. Again I hope the franchise is strict and they keep it clean. Food great taste nice spice and moist chicken. Potato Fries were flavor full with the table sauces Veggies were ok just steamed veggies no salt or anything. Chips we're good crispy made in house had nice spice salt on them Service horrible took 90 min for food And it wasn't that busy see pics just terrible service they said they weren't full staff Then why open if you don't have people on day one. Typical Indian mentality when comes to service Food made up for it but if service doesn't improve I won't come back I would wait till another franchise opens with better service. Again it's day one I'm still giving 4 stars to get them started on right foot.

Yelp
The first time I had a meal from here they were delicious so I tried them again but this time I wasn't as impressed. The chicken was a little fatty or under cooked and the rice was rather bland; something just wasn't right. Maybe it was just a different cook that day.

Yelp
Don't be discouraged by the reviews BECAUSE, dayummmm: the chicken is amazing! I had "a the Burger" in the medium sauce & casava fries, corn on the cob and a 1/2 chicken. While there is a tiny bit of a wait for the food to come out - remember its being cooked fresh! You can see the chefs grilling the marinated chicken and drizzling it with your choice of spice. I hardly ever finish my food but I made t a point to eat everything. My husband and I will be coming back. We stumbled on Porto's by accident - the place we were going to was closed and I am so glad we decided to try them out! So sit back and enjoy a soda! That chicken will be worth it!!!!!
