A Complete Guide to Dining in LoHi

"Though the loss of neighborhood pioneer Lola was a blow, its replacement by this chicken shack is no mere consolation prize: It does right by the bird from the appetizer section of the menu, starring “thigh fries” and chicharrones, onward — on salads, in sandwiches, on waffles, and in buckets. Cheddar biscuits and whoopie pies make for a balanced meal." - Josie Sexton, Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

Didn’t come here for Post but I did come here for the Groovy bar. Fantastic time with my friend here. It was super pretty, definite 70s vibe. Very themed and cozy and comfy. The bartenders are sweet and friendly. Lots of seating from the bar to the little nooks and corners. Everywhere in here is themed to fit the vibe. By far my favorite bar and the tastiest drinks. Food was super tasty as well. I’d say you’re better to Uber here or walk as there is some street parking but not a lot. Great spot to walk around to other bars and places nearby.

Nice chill atmosphere. Service was ok. Food was pretty good. Drink prices a little high compared to other restaurants. 9oz draft for $9!!! I had the veggie hash bowl, Hubby had chicken n waffles. Was the better of the 2 locations of "Post Chicken" I've visited. The bathrooms were super clean. They also had complimentary feminine products & mints for convenience, if necessary. Which is definitely worth mentioning. Sometimes, it's the little touches.

We were for a corporate function, food was average but bar staff were very friendly and provided good service. Fried chicken was a bit dried, meatball was okay. Maybe a-la-care would be better?

Edit: Photos form next visit: cauliflower (almost finished, we were hungry and it was perfect!), chicken tenders, biscuits, half chicken. Everything was absolutely amazing. Damn, it's a good spot. There are no photos, but this review will be updated once I have a chance to come back for more. Tried the Chicken Wings, Nashville version - it burned, but damn it should. It was so tasty! The place is very cool and has a lot of gluten free options (and clearly marked, I love you, Denver ❤️), so I'm definitely coming back. Pricing seemed wallet-friendly, too :)

I came into Denver for a few days and I’ve eaten here now three times… Absolutely amazing atmosphere, service, and food. The happy hour chicken sandwich is the best chicken I’ve had in years, maybe it’s the homemade cheddar biscuits they go in. They have such the perfect atmosphere to hang out and enjoy yourself, happy to have spent so much time in a short amount of time but when you know what you want… Townie IPA is my choice but it’s 2 for 1 on all pints during HH 2 for 10 chx sliders Happy Hour is 4-6 Get you some!

The Post Chicken & Beer has rolled out their new Big Fun Happy Hour menu! It’s available Monday-Friday 2pm to 5pm & late night Friday-Saturday 9pm to 10pm. The Post was previously featured by Guy Fieri on Food Network’s ‘Diners Drive-Ins, & Dives’. This spot serves award-winning Colorado-style fried chicken, farm-fresh sides, and award-winning Beer. We arrived at The Post and were seated at a table on the patio; the aesthetic was groovy and fun. The staff of The Post were friendly and attentive. Our Server, Lily & General Manager, Erika took great care of us. We started happy hour with 3 Big Fun Drinks - the Blue Out My Flip Flop, Naughty by Nature, and Mama Said Knock You Out. These drinks were massive! We were able to share 3 between 6 of us. The 'Blue Out My Flip Flop' was made with El Jimador Blanco tequila, blue curacao, sweet & sour, & agave. The 'Naughty by Nature' was made with peach vodka, peach blossom schnapps, honey, pineapple, cranberry, & lemon. The 'Mama Said Knock You Out' was made with aged rum, crème de cacao, pineapple, orange, lime, grenadine, sprite, & dark rum float. The Naughty by Nature was our favorite; it was so refreshing and reminded us of an alcoholic Capri Sun. Our main eat of Happy Hour was The Tower of Love. The Tower of Love was made with hand-breaded chicken tenders, thigh-fries, wings, 1 whole bird, deli slaw, pickles, sauces, 4 large sides, & 8 biscuits (feeds 8, available for dine-in only). The large chicken tenders were made from fresh, all-natural chicken. The crispy tenders were savory with just the right amount of seasoning. They had a nice, crunchy exterior & a juicy chicken interior. The 1 whole bird - bone in chicken thighs and legs were so flavorful. The chicken meat was a mix of light and dark and had a great, meaty flavor. The side of Buttermilk Waffles complemented the savory chicken with their sweetness. For chicken wings we had the post-dry rub and Nashville hot. The Nashville hot had a major spicy kick to it which I loved. I was breathing fire. The Cheddar Biscuits came to the table, hot out of the oven with fluffy interiors. For sides we had the Buttermilk Waffles, Collard Greens, Seasoned Fries, and Beets & Sweets. My favorite was the Beets & Sweets. The earthy flavor of the beets and potatoes combined with the creaminess of the goat cheese was stellar; a well balanced & healthy side. The Deviled Eggs were made with pickled pepper relish, crispy chicken skin, & chives. Yum - these southern inspired deviled eggs were great. The crispy chicken skin added a crunchy texture against the creamy mayonnaise filling & smooth egg.

My girlfriend and I just arrived in Denver earlier today to celebrate my 21st birthday. We were tired and just needed a sit-down meal. We felt cared for from the moment we walked in until we left. Our servers name was Josie and she did a stellar job making my birthday dinner special. They even threw in a free dessert for us. Their chicken was not only spectacular but it was also gluten free! Thank you for making our first night so memorable!

Google
New, more expensive, less choices happy hour food menu and beer. Beers are $5, wine $6. We wanted a low expense way of trying out their chicken. With mediocre google ratings, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money so the Happy hour menu was a great way to decide if I would be a regular here (8min drive). There are no items on the new happy hr menu that had chicken in it! Beers are pretty good with lots of variety. The deviled eggs were on the too subtle taste side. So, unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Here’s a novel idea: go back to ur old happy hr food menu but reduce availability to Monday to Fridays. No need for Happy Hour food on the weekend; people are coming in anyway.

Yelp
I tried some of the "battle of the biscuit" competitors going on this summer 2024 (check their ig/website for details) - the cheddar biscuits are soooo good! Also got the summer spritz (forgot the exact name of it) but it was the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy on their patio. Great service! Ask them about their beer pairings too

Yelp
Walked in to The Post on a Friday night and was able to be seated immediately at the bar. They have restaurant, bar, and outdoor seating options. They have a nice beer selection. I was pleased that they also had a decent cocktail menu since I wasn't in the mood for beer- the bad bunny was very good. My husband and I both thought the salad I ordered, the Dolly Parton, was great. My husband got their fried chicken and said it was okay. Mashed potatoes were really good. The Post is a nice neighborhood spot for a more casual dinner. We'd return for drinks and salad.

Yelp
I loved this place!! The food was all incredible! We came for the gluten free chicken tenders, but they're great regardless of their gluten status! Their house made ranch and sweet chili sauce made it even better. The Post Salad balanced our meal perfectly! The deviled eggs were so good that I'm still thinking about them a few days later. I need to get back here! The inside is super spacious and they have a nice enclosed patio area. Downstairs by the bathrooms they have a secret groovy bar, which wasn't open mid afternoon, but looked like fun! The waitresses that helped us were all great too. I will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
Love Post and have been to several locations so was happy to see this one and bring some out of town guests. Sat on the patio. Took 10 mins to be greeted by the server who seemed to be the only one working. Finally ordered and it was exactly 25 minutes from when we arrived until we got drinks. Food was awesome as usual but had to wait forever to get check. Need more servers or more skilled ones.

Yelp
Chicken & Beer has a cozy and laidback ambiance, perfect for casual dining and enjoying a few drinks with friends. The decor is simple yet inviting, with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to relax and unwind. The food was phenomenal!!! The service at Chicken & Beer is friendly and attentive. The staff members are knowledgeable about the menu offerings and are quick to assist with any questions or requests. They create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall dining experience.

Yelp
We had a great dining experience at Post. If you're a fan of portobello mushroom burgers there's is really awesome! It's grilled then deep fried so you don't feel too healthy about it lol!frying it definitely enhances the flavor. One downside is you do not get any side with the sandwiches. I mean at least some fries, heck, even a pickle spear would be great...? Take note if you get the cheeseburger it comes on an English muffin and not a brioche bun. We missed that but otherwise it was delicious. Next time I'm definitely trying the chicken and waffles!

Yelp
Updated to 4 stars because the sandwiches are pretty good. My favorite is the Gochugang BBQ Sandwhich which is served with pickles and pickled onions on a brioche bun.

Yelp
I came to The Groovy Bar in the basement of Post Chicken & Beer for a pop-up event hosted by Uncle Tim's Cocktails. They are running the popup speakeasy on Fri/Sat till February 10th. This space has 1970's decor with plenty of seating at high top tables, low tables and couches. There is a full bar. This space can be rented for other events. They offered a small selection of specialty Cocktails + NA drinks. I started with an Alpine Spritz. It was made with Uncle Tim's classic negroni, cranberry maple syrup, La Marca prosecco and a sprig of rosemary. Nice and light. My regular Uncle Tim's cocktail was their Classic Manhattan served in a martini glass. Nice color and very spirit forward. Their original location on S Lipan St will be reconfigured for more production capacity, so expect more pop-up events. I met Tim F. one of the co-owners. All of the servers were pleasant.

Yelp
Visited the Highlands location of The Post with a friend and sat on the back porch. What a treat. It's super cute. Next time I want to sit at the bar area inside. My friend started with the terrible suggestion of a booze and gravy shot. Did NOT like that but can appreciate the option. Then we moved to a dirty martini while waiting for our appetizers. Got some fried chicken to share, in additon to deviled eggs and fries. Everything was tasty and flavorful! Great service. Parking can always be a challenge in this neighborhood. Love that they host private parties. Definitely want to come for happy hour in the future. I keep missing it by an hour! Reliable spot for some solid food and minimal wait.

Yelp
We had really been enjoying the happy hour Chicken Biscuit Slides that were selling for two for $10. The chicken was delicious, the biscuit was awesome and it was a really decent size sandwich. Well the next time we went in a week or so later the 'sliders' were no longer two for $10, they were $6 each, tolerable. When they arrived they were no longer on the buscuit, they were on a silver dollar sized 'Hawaiian Roll'. Not the best but we figured we could live with it b/c the chicken piece was still a decent size, I'd say 4-5 ounces maybe. Last week we went in to grab a happy hour sandwich and a few beers before a concert and we ordered them again, well, this time corporate must have gotten so damn greedy that they shrank the size of the chicken down to less than the size of ONE chicken nugget you'd get at fast food restaurant, maybe the size of a 50 cent piece; MAYBE. The roll was hard and all of this was $6? Unbelievable, they did the same thing when it was Lola's they used to have a great happy hour and then they kept reducing it until we stopped going there. We'll do the same this time. Good luck selling $6 chicken nuggets, corporate. BTW, M.J. the server is still awesome, sorry he has to work for such greedy folks.

Yelp
Woot woot!! I've heard of this place for quite some time now and man...THEY DELIVERED!! We ordered some beers, and some food! I got the Chicken and waffles (Nashville Hot) with some grits. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the spice was on point and the waffle had the perfect crunch! The grits were amazing as well!! 10/10 We also the Gochujang Chicken sandwich with some fries. This sandwich was sooo good! Super juicy, perfect amount of sauce on the chicken and the fries were nice and crunchy! 10/10 They had a lot of indoor seating but do recommend to make reservations during busy hours. Service wasn't the best. Our server did the bare minimum and never came to check on us, but we didn't really care lol the food had on distracted!

Yelp
I guess it's a sad state of affairs when my bucket list involves wanting to visit every Post Chicken location, right? No, ok cool, let's proceed. This location rocks. It's a lovely addition to LoHi and also a great place to go to before heading downtown. Pluuuuus, everything is delicious here! I brought a friend from out of town here and we decided to get some drinks and split a few appetizers. Now, I thought their chicken was awesome but their lock-in' fried cauliflower is now one of my favorites dishes in Denver. It lives up to the name, the sweet chili sauce is bomb and gives your tongue a little tingle. The brussels were also solid and chicken thigh fries are always a delight. You can get them Nashville Hot too if that's your thing but if you do, request some ranch since it comes with bbq and honey mustard. Service is always great here but you can also stick to our 2020 ways and scan the QR code and order that way, no human contact involved with ordering! Added bonus? They have lotion downstairs near the restrooms. It's like we are a mile high in the air and have dry skin!! Happy to check another Post location off my list.

Yelp
We came to The Post Chicken & Beer in LoHi for Restaurant Week. From the moment we walked in the door, we said, "Why haven't we been here before?" Even before the food came, the music was groovy (yes, I said it). The vibe was fun and the staff was very friendly. We received an incredible value for the taste and amount of food we received. The chicken and rice soup, Brussels sprouts, fried chicken, pulled pork, Whoopee Pie, and bread pudding we all so delicious. And their house hot sauce is good enough to sell. Thanks to Restaurant Week, we have found a place to put on our Return List!

Yelp
The food was delicious for picking a healthy choice! The fried chicken was absolutely fantastic. Cool groovy atmosphere. Very fun environment. Friendly staff.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in the Highland area. Very deserving of their spotlight on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. I was super impressed with their chicken and waffles plate! I'd definitely return and dine in to enjoy the hipster ambience- perfect for a date night. Pro tip: Order ahead using their online ordering system.

Yelp
I love this place,it's so nice indoor and outdoor seating, it has a nice ambiance, the chicken and collard greens , the Mac and cheese is sooooo good, and the service was great, this is a good location, with lots of shops around them to go to, We will be back!

Yelp
First time going here and the place exceeded my expectations. Food was great, but the service was even better. Chicken was fantastic. We had the tenders, mac and cheese and the chicken tacos. We were really impressed with the food. Eric took care of us and he was so nice and helpful. We left a pair of headphones at the table and he found us outside and gave them back to us.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! Both the chicken and mac n cheese blew my expectations out of the water. The service was great. The menu had many gluten free and vegetarian options! Extremely exciting to see for a chicken joint.

Yelp
Sort of a bummer in comparison to other locations. I'm a big fan of the Post on Broadway and decided to check this one out as I was in the neighborhood. This location is massive and used to be a Mexican restaurant named Lola's - the whole thing has been redone and the ambience is overall impressive. The bartender was sweet and attentive. What didn't do it for me was the food. Fries were just meh (compared to Broadway location) and the Fried Chicken Sandwich was flat and also meh. Soggy bun, chicken didn't seem freshly fried. Also came down to little things such as the ketchup included on the plate being gelled over on top. Is the kitchen filling up ketchup containers prior to meals being made? That was definitely the case today. If post is looking to keep this location and play with the big culinary dogs in that area, food's gotta improve.

Yelp
Went here with my husband and his friend before a night of shopping. We were seated almost immediately. There was some confusion with our waiter at who was going to be taking care of our table, but is seemed like that got itself ironed out before it affected us as patrons. We all ordered a house beer, which was pretty crisp in flavor. There is not a lot of variety in the menu, so keep that in mind when bringing a group of people here. It's chicken fingers or bust. I tried the chicken tenders, thrown in their barbecue sauce with cole slaw. It was really well seasoned chicken and the barbecue sauce was full of flavor. I do think $18 for the amount of food I got was rather disappointing.

Yelp
I was excited to try this spot - super cute, breezy, great location in highlands. It was busy on a Wednesday night which was a good sign. The menu was true to their concept - lots of chicken and great selections of beer too. Our server was friendly and gave recommendations, and the guy who I assume was the Manager was perky and eager to assist us. I only had qualms with how they kept lowering the lighting to the point I couldn't differentiate between all of the ingredients in my salad, which was just more personally irritating than anything - the place doesn't seem sexy enough to pull off such low lighting. Oh and it was cold that day and we were sitting directly in front of the front double entry doors that were both propped wide open. Made the overall experience just a little uncomfortable. Must be great in the summer. Will probably return back for a Lunch sometime.

Yelp
I love this spot! Have been multiple times. Their employees are always great to chat with and very accommodating. Their happy hour is fantastic- 2 for 1 beers. My favorite thing to eat is their chicken fries with the curry dip. I'm dying to try their chicken and waffle!

Yelp
I write reviews regularly...or somewhat. Sometimes I slack for a month or two. Then, I write like 7 in a row because one experience motivated me to throw out some love. This would be that review, folks. We had a decent experience the first time, months ago. It was my bday, yesterday, and the wife asked where I wanted to go. I wanted to go somewhere for brunch that was either a ringer, or teased me into being a ringer. I remembered the deviled eggs from this place months ago, so said yes. Plus, I was in the mood for chicken (well, when are we humans NOT in the mood for chicken). Well, I made the right call. Folks, go here. Here are my detailed notes. Josie was our bartender. She was friendly, disarming, efficient, and perfect. Some other fun dude came in as we were closing out, but you should go to see how fun he is too. Big bar, two large tv's, warm fire, and it is a brewery with lots of fun new beers. I recommend the Stopped Cold over The Townie, although they are both winners. OK. Flash back to 1995. Remember $.50 wings? Well, they have them during "game days" on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Only Buffalo and Dry Run, but the Buffalo was some of the best s%^& I have tasted for wings. Time Warp. 2 for 1 on ANY type of beer, which makes IPA people happy. $15 pitchers on any beer, although we weren't up for that. The mac and cheese was a 4 rating (sorry), but they offer 2 sizes at 6 and 11 bucks, and just throw on the Howdy Habanero housemade hot sauce and you will be happy (5 rating). Get the green chili version. My wife LOVED the chicken and rice soup that day. I definitely recommend, and we will see you there. We need to go back for the fun dude who appeared as a bartender, the cheap pitcher of expensive beer, and the $.50 wings from 1995. Love you, Josie and Other Guy!

Yelp
Great service. Great beer. Great wings. Get the dry rub wings they are excellent. The NFL specials are steal. Great local spot to pop in to.

Yelp
We had a bad experience at this location. Poor initial service. We waited at least 20-25 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted anything. Sitting with water and menus. Finally ordered drinks and appetizers. The Brussels sprouts were very good as were the biscuits that ate more like dense yeast rolls. We again waited forever for our food and were told there was an issue in the kitchen. The Manager came over and apologized and bought the round of drinks we ordered ($12). Finally the food came. My waffle and chicken were dry, over cooked and tepid at best. My daughter said her food was not warm either. We were near loud tipsy people loudly cheering on the game on television. We ordered a desert despite a bad experience. Again the manager came to the table to apologize. No amount of apologies can make up for what was supposed to be to be a treat for me from my adult children. We were looking forward to a home cooked meal as we had at the other Post location; sadly. I appreciate the apologies but two visits from a manager = bad experience.

Yelp
Chicken and waffles plus maple stout was 5/5! Service was responsive and friendly. Cool vibe in the happening LoHi neighborhood.

Dax S.

Yelp
Drove over an hour to try this chicken and was very disappointed. A long wait time before and after ordering and the chicken was overcooked in old oil. It came out very dark brown. I could've gone to KFC if I wanted that quality of chicken.

Yelp
Gluten free paradise! I'm still dreaming of these chicken tenders! Also great drinks. Cool atmosphere and the kind of place non gf people can love too

Yelp
I came here to check out what the hype was all about after seeing good reviews on Yelp. We were seated at the bar. They have daily happy hour specials. We ordered the half bird, which came with 4 pieces of chicken and a side. I like the crispiness and seasoning on the skin, but I usually prefer it a bit spicier with a sauce. The bartender brought out 2 bottles of their own branded hot sauce plus a Nashville hot oil. He said the Nashville hot oil is to pour on the chicken, but not for dipping. I really liked the added spice of the oil on the chicken. It made it much better. The buttermilk biscuits were freshly baked and was a great side. We also ordered Brussels sprouts and chicken thigh fries, but due to a kitchen error, those were not brought out. I think the chicken is good, but not what I would go out of my ways for.
google avatar

Craig A.

Yelp
Really good fried chicken. I stopped in on a Saturday evening and the place was fairly busy but I was able to get a single seat at the bar. A playoff game was in the TV. All of The Post locations are reliable spots for dinner with numerous local brews on tap and a menu that includes plenty of options. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
The tastiest fried chicken sandwich (with Nashville hot toss) I have tried in this Denver so far. Some classmates and I doordashed it to our university late one exam cram night, and it was magical. The mashed potato side had bits of skin in it which i LOVE, creamy with just enough chunk and flavor that can hold it's own without any gravy. Chef kiss. This doordash experience willed me to go into the place itself and the dine in experience was also sweet. Quiet tuesday night and the wait staff was really pleasant to talk to, on par with most folks I've talked to since moving to Denver. Surprisingly, I didn't enjoy the half bird plate as much as i did the sandwich. I have a personal thing against chicken breast being dry (which very few places get right) and it proved true for the breast cut i got. No matter, would still get the sandwich and mashed tater side any day. Looking forward to trying more sides!

Yelp
The Deviled eggs are AMAZZZZING (not photoed because we devoured them) Came here to watch the Broncos game and sat in the enclosed indoor patio where there is a TV and heater. Adam was our server, he was very friendly and attentive and provided great suggestions. We got the original fried chicken sandwich dipped in Nashville hot sauce and the yoga pants salad with grilled chicken and goat cheese. 11/10 Will definitely come back to this neighborhood gem!

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch with some friends. Loved that you could order through the app and food was quick and good! Service still made sure we were taken care of even with the app.

Yelp
Solid spot, four stars because had a great server and enjoyed the chill atmosphere. I remember when this used to be a taco spot, and now its Post Chicken & Beer! I definitely need to come back and try their chicken because we only got small apps to share. The mac n cheese was soft and creamy-- i enjoyed the sprinkle of panko for the crunch factor. Comes in two sizes - large and small, we got the large to share amongst 3 of us and it was satisfying. The second app was the Flash Fried Cauliflower. It was my favorite of the two. Slight kick to the cauliflower, nice texture and good crunch! No complaints :)

I ate here twice in the past week, being GF I *love* being able to have fried chicken without having to make it myself. Great vibe here, staff is attentive, friendly and super helpful. Food was really good comfort food, and being able to get mashed potatoes and gravy was such a treat! Great place to unwind and relax with good food and fun atmosphere.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended to me. Being from Miami, it is something very unique with an underground speakeasy, indoor seating, bar seating, and patio seating. The vibes and ambience are fun and lively. The drinks are great, with top shelf being very affordable. The menu allows for family style sharing. We went with Family Love. The chicken is lightly breaded which is a nice change from the usual greasy breading. We ate with our eyes and ordered nearly all of the sides. The best ones for sure were the slaw and brussell sprouts. The service has opted to use the Toast app in which patrons can order from the table. Splitting the check got dicey as the website glitched. The waitress only really came to refill our waters or to bring our food.

Yelp
I've been here twice for dinner and was so pleased each visit. Both times we've made reservations, which I highly recommend since it can get busy in the LoHi area. I like the variety of beers and have enjoyed Top Rope, Howdy, and Sweater Gang. For food, you can't go wrong with any of the fried chicken. We've split the half fried bird which was fried to perfection. The crispy thigh fries are exactly that- so crispy on the outside but still so juicy on the inside. I really enjoyed them with the beer mustard, hot honey chili, and house ranch. I've also had the chicken sandwich and made it hot- and they truly do make it hot! For sides, I personally LOVE the beets and sweets, but the mac and cheese and cheddar biscuits are also wonderful. We're big fans of Post and will continue to come here. Service has always been efficient and so friendly!

Yelp
I have been here three times, and the most recent visit did not last long. We sat at the bar and waited several minutes for a greeting that never came. I think the bartender might have made brief eye contact before we finally decided to just go somewhere else. It was 82 degrees out and he didn't even drop water. I understand being busy, but a simple "Hey there! I'm a little slammed but will be right with you" and glass of water in the summer goes a long way. The service was slow the first time I came here too, so I'm beginning to think it's a trend at this restaurant. That is unfortunate, because I really enjoyed the food when I came for dinner!

Yelp
Horrible service. Like really bad to the point it's odd. If the location wasn't cool they would be closed down. I'm honestly curious how? This place sucks & I hope they fail & shut down then someone that actually knows a customer that walks in would like a drink & food & would give a customer a drink & food. Horrible service. How are you open for business?

Yelp
We were in the area and decided to switch things up and give The Post Chicken a try. Not a huge fan of the order in app style dining but service was pretty quick which I appreciated. The food was pretty good but the sauces were my fave part of our experience. I got a chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got a whole chicken?? Okay...maybe it was a half but seemed like a TON of food. I loved that you could try all of the sauces, which we naturally ended up doing. The curry ketchup was an easy favorite and the hot honey sauce was also delicious and really spiced up my sando. This seems like a good spot for larger groups versus a date night spot. Overall the food was good, sauces were better and service was meh. I would probably come back if a group of friends was doing a happy hour or something of that nature as I think the atmosphere is more accommodating for large groups.

Yelp
My family and I recently dined at Post and it was a pleasant experience! 3 stars go to the location, cool building, and friendly staff. The star of the show was definitely the deviled eggs, and in 2nd place, the thigh fries. My chilaquiles were so so, lacking some flavor, but the rest of my family seemed to be happy with their choices (burrito, post toast, & fried chicken biscuit). The last thing I'll share is it was surprisingly very cold inside and on the outdoor patio. We had to move to a different table at one point, and ate with our winter jackets and hats on.

Yelp
Super yummy and great atmosphere. Biscuits are to die for! My only wish is that they had more small dishes and starters but overall a great place for some delicious fried chicken

Yelp
My husband got the hot chicken sandwich and it was really good. I got the Susan Sarandon salad and it was fantastic! Our service was fast and the servers were very friendly. The inside of the restaurant was really cool with dark wood and lightening.

Yelp
I was a fan of the Post Chicken & Beer, I got some nashville hot fried chicken (I want to say 4 pieces?). Chicken was delicious and juicy with a nice breading; I also liked the slaw a lot. This wasn't the best fried chicken I've ever had but it was solid and I had no complaints. Good service as well.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday and we're happy to discover they had a happy hour. We took advantage of a couple beers and small plates to share. We really enjoyed everything. The biscuits were fantastic! My son devoured his chicken and waffle. My husband enjoyed the strips while I had the crispy thigh fries. Sadly we were too full to try dessert but will definitely be back to try them all!
