The Post Chicken & Beer

Very pleased with the Post. Food quality is between 4 and 5 stars. Rounding up my score because for my wife's gluten allergy, this place was a very special treat. And I loved the atmosphere as well. The fried chicken was moist and battered in a flavorful seasoned batter. They must surely brine this chicken. Exceptionally good by any standards. But again, having it this good and be gluten free is a marvel. We had the beets and the collards as sides, and they were both very good. No alcohol this visit (drank a lot of beer earlier), but we did enjoy their cherry limeade. Very special honorable mention for their jalapeño hot sauce. It was thick and funky and tasted almost fermented. So original and good that I had to buy a bottle to take home.

Delicious brunch menu! The quinoa porridge was delicious, the chicken and waffle was delightful. The waffle was light an airy with crisp edges, perfect! Also, bottomless mimosa was so reasonably priced. Why is this place not packed?

The holiday drinks are a fun novelty but expect to pay a premium!! Hostess staff was wonderful and very friendly. Our waiter was not, maybe a long day, but he seemed annoyed from the start. He kind of put a damper on our celebratory evening. Very festive and a fun experience over all!

Post chicken is a solid choice for fried chicken in Fort Collins. I have never eaten at the one in Fort Collins, we always get it delivered. It gets there hot and fresh every time. They have great regular fried chicken as well as Nashville hot seasoning. They also have an assortment of dips that are delicious. Mustard, ketchup, their own house ranch, etc.. Definitely give them a try if you're in the mood for fried chicken! Enjoy!

I have been to all of the other Post's and had to check this one out. First off a great setting and they did a incredible job making the inside seem rustic and warm. Plenty of seating and friendly service. The food is still awesome here and the drinks are cold. Green chili Mac is a great side and pretty filling. Looks really festive right now.

The Miracle pop up bar was super fun!! Absolutely loved the Christmas atmosphere. The drinks were super expensive on the Miracle drink list but they were fun and unique! We all ended up loving the Cranberry Mule the best which was on the regular drink menu. Food was pretty good but a bit pricey for what it was! Totally understand that everything is expensive now though. Favorite things were the Brussels, Nashville chicken sandwich, and the whoppie pie! Also our server was super kind and she even brought my friend another drink when she hated hers. I will definitely be back for the Christmas atmosphere, good service, and fun drinks!

I love fried chicken. So when my friend suggested this place for dinner, I was very happy to go there to try. Ordered 2 dishes, an appetizer and a beer. The fried chicken tasted very good although I feel it was generic. Brussel sprouts was good. Price was a little high so I wouldn't be able to go there everyday. I think if more flavor and juicier inside the fried chicken, it would be my ideal fried chicken 🍗.

If you still remember the old IHOP it’s time to forget it. The whole restaurant had a tear down and rebuild by Baird builders. Everything is very clean and new. Bathrooms are very big and ADA accessible. Lighting and electrical look amazing and was done by Brian’s Electric. Overall for the soft opening it was perfect. The fried chicken skin appetizer is perfection the sauces are great. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was beyond perfection leaving a tingly feeling with every bite. The cocktails were great and highly recommend them. The bar is amazing long and nice. Outside seating under great big heaters to keep the party going on the coldest Fort Collins days. Come join the party officially on the 19th and get some amazing chicken from an amazing staff and crew.
