We traveled from Corpus to Austin for a wedding the night before….woke up and had Wings in my mind… So we decided to try The Potluck….let me tell yall….very welcoming staff and the food was 10/10 we will definitely make this our number one spot in Austin for wings on our list! The wings had the perfect crunch and very very tasty….i ordered the Crack wings what’s shown in this picture but we also tried the Loose cannon wings and they were soo good!!! Loved them

Second time visiting this food, truck location on Manchaca Road and meeting this young man named Joshua, who was very helpful both times and helping me decide on which flavor of wings I want by allowing me to try a couple of flavors. Great fast Customer Service I absolutely love the Trump wings with the ranch seasoning powder on top! highly recommend!

They’re good, don’t get me wrong but it feels like they’re putting more ranch powder than seasoning😬 I had the crack wings and truthfully all I tasted was ranch powder where was the crack? Lol! But seriously, another thing they’re ALWAYS out of ranch!!! how are you going to be a wing place and be out of ranch? This isn’t the first time. Customer service is good. I guess i mean the only talking we do is when I order. They never really explain what the flavors are. Besides those issues this place is good I’ve been 3-4 times not all the time since I live up north

Absolutely amazing fowl. I purchased the Blue Magic and Hot Chick. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else for my fowl besides The Pot Luck. My group was given samples of crack and Loose Cannon. I’ll be back bigger and better than last time.

Wings were seasoned well, hot and crispy. As were the fries. They are just opening their brick and mortar, so inside atmosphere is dismal. But, I'm sure it will turn out great

Wings were cook very well and fresh when I got them . Shoutout to the young men who working in the food truck. However, the crack and loose cannon powder just taste like powder ranch and nothing else . Pricing is ridiculous high .. I paid 36 dollars for 12 wings and crack fries it makes you add for a $11 .Good food but not worth 36 dollars.

When we arrived they gave us two crack wings to try, and the crack was the best dry rub we’ve ever had!! We also got the Asian Girl Named Sue Wang, WAP, and Hot girl. They were all so good!! I would come back and get any of these wings again because they were all amazing. The wing size was well worth the cost, and all the food was so hot and fresh! I would probably pass on the fries in the future, but their seasoning was great!

Loose Canon wings are delicious but the Crack Wings are a must to experience!! The service and hospitality is awesome and worth giving a shot

Best wings I've found in Austin. I'm usually a drenched in sauce wing eater, but these dry rubs are DANK. Ron was so nice to me while waiting for my food. This business deserves to thrive!

My girlfriend turned me out!! Okay if you're looking for some WINGS this is a go to and they are open late! I am not a dry rub kinda gal but yesssss these flavors are spot on! The crack wings & Donald Trump wings oh and the crack fries the seasoning is so good! Such a cute food truck with similar-fast but it is worth the wait.

Holy cow or should I say holy chicken wing. When I tell you I didn't want to stop eating these delectable morsels, I mean I wanted to become a black pit of taste buds to suck up all the flavor. Which is basically what my friend and I did. We went late at night (about midnight), so it was cash only. I don't know if the truck is normally like that, but here's your warning! It's totally worth the atm visit. The service was fast, and they brought it out to the car! Excellent service, nice workers, and most importantly DELICIOUS wings.

One of THE best wing places I've ever tried. We tried this place on a whim because we were in the area and I highly recommend checking them out! The owner and service were amazing from the start, he even recommended to us the best flavors. Food came out hot and fresh. Service was fast and we waited barely any time for our food. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend and we will be returning!

This is one of those times where I wish I would not leave a review because I don't want them to be super busy. But damn this is some of the best wings. Pretty much I go every Wednesday and get like 36 wings and every time it's so good. Yeah, you're getting them out of a food truck and it's made by like teenagers but who cares because it's absolutely delicious and they're super laid-back. Pull into a parking spot eat outside if you want to, but get it to go and have a bunch of beer and a great night. I'm not sure what to say about the ambience because it's a food truck in the parking lot but they've got seats and that's really all you need here. Get the blue magic

Sweetest workers ever. The food is beyond amazing. As a true wing fanatic i can guarantee you will think so too!! Each wing flavor is a unique experience, that will leave your taste buds wanting more. You can taste the love!! 10/10 you gotta check it out

OUTSTANDING!! Known for their wings; the fish and cajun dishes are even better! They have just opened a brick and mortar place on Riverside. The food and service is as good there. Absolutely Love all the flavors. Just a completely different twist on the chicken wing game! Highly recommend you check them out. You will be back!! lol.

Owner blocked me when requesting the rest of our pay that we wrote down,wasn't asking for food handlers when hired and worked a month before we quit because he wasn't paying right.

These are hands down the best wings I've ever tried! The crispy texture, the seasoning, the love that you can immediately tell goes into it. It's all there. Ron and his family do a really great job with the food here. The restaurant is very clean and the food all smelled amazing. You won't get better wings than this after coming here. Get there asap!

Fixed my marriage! All jokes aside the best wings and customer service. We mentioned this was our first time and Josh offered us a sample. Strongly recommend the Blue Magic, Loose Cannon, C.R.A.C.K, and Dynamite.

Stopped by for the first time today around 3:30-4. The guy running the truck was super cool--really friendly and even accommodated my request for all flats. We tried the Blue Magic and Stardust, and right after we finished, I had to go thank him in person--they were that good. Definitely planning to come back, and hopefully we can stop by for the grand opening too.

Food and service was great! Must try! I grabbed them for lunch and the guy working was very nice. Guided me in the right direction. It's a food truck.

Please update your hours. Yelp and Google says you're open and just drive by and you're closed, waste of time and drive. I'll try another time :(

If not the best wings I've ever had, top 3 for sure. Crispy, not dried out, and the dry seasoning was on point. Good service as well. Would love to see more of these around Austin. Incredible.

Highway Robbery Alert. There is a theme here if you read the reviews. The owner here is unprofessional, abrasive, and his prices are just way too high. Plus his menu is deceptive. So if you don't mind overpaying for your food then you go here. Here's a newsflash - - the chicken wing shortage has been over since August. They announced that costs of chicken wings have now reached all time lows, yet vendors (like this guy) continue to charge you an arm and a leg. But is it worth it? No. But I want to be fair here - - the wings are good here, what's not good is the deceptive marketing and exorbitant prices and an abrasive and over aggressive owner. Such a turnoff I won't bet back, the wingies here are not worth it. I put an order for 12 wings. TWELVE. That costs $22. I get the order and then he says to me - after the fact - "oh our wings come connected so you each one of these wings = 2". I'm like WTF are you talking about? So I open it up and we have SIX wings in there. They are the regular large wings, which is a wing and drumstick attached. So we got six large wings for $22?!? No, man. No. We've been eating wings for 30 years, and no one does that, they don't double up and manipulate the order quantity, they just tell you that you're getting SIX large wings. Why don't you reveal that from the beginning, and Why don't you just say you get SIX large wings for $22?? If you said that ahead of time you wouldn't have to justify the rationale. It's simple. It's deceiving. Because 12 for $22 looks better on the menu than 6 for $22. He got a bit abrasive so I just let it go. You're not supposed to get abrasive with customers, that's very unprofessional. And he's really pushy for more sales, all of which are way overpriced. He's charging $8-10 for fries for the combo meal. For Fries?!? And the customers told me the curly fries aren't that good but he's charging you that much? You can buy a package of curly fries at Trader Joe's for $4! And he was pushing desserts - how much? $10 for a small bowl. WTF? I don't mind suggestive selling, but this guy is too pushy and aggressive, it was almost like desperation mode to sell. No one is going to pay $10 for a small sample of dessert. The others I was there with we like hells no. Ok - the wings were crispy, they had a nice (Asian) sauce and seasoning on them and they tasted good. But 6 large wings for $22 is just not worth it, especially when you can get a whole roasted chicken from Costco for $4.99!! If you look at the past pictures he raised prices by 38% from several months ago - was charging $16 now $22. You're getting ripped off so bad here you're essentially paying for his sauce and seasoning - which is not worth it. Some people seem to be overlooking that fact but that's on them - what will happen here is we got inflation coming, and those who decide to come back to him will come back less and less often because these prices are outrageous. Highway Robbery + Deceptive Sales & Marketing + Abrasive / Aggressive service = 1-star. The wings were good but I'm one-and-done with this place. It's not worth the hassle, the bullish behavior, and getting ripped off.

Wings was fire and the service was good. Went on a Sunday early afternoon and glad I did! Definitely will be back.

I don't think it'd be crazy to say these are the best wings I've had in Austin. Pictures don't do the food justice. The woman working today, I'm not sure if she was the owner or not, was so sweet and kept apologizing for the wait. Don't apologize for having business, there's a reason why you're busy! Making this at least a monthly stop.

Amazing chicken, better comedy! Minority owned, the potluck has a home cooking feel with a restaurant style delivery. Will eat here again and again!

Ron the owner always takes care of of me since the first time I've visited this truck he and his team have made sure everything was to my liking. Have been here numerous times and I can say these wings are my go to everyting I'm craving chicken.

Not exactly my taste but doesn't mean it can't be yours. This is definitely a kid hangout spot. They have a younger kid running the window and his friends were sitting at the patio table right in front. They were out of most of the flavors although they just opened probably an hour before I came.

Takeout had numerous problems with the experience from the beginning: (1.) too long of a wait, others were also waiting (2.) disinterested staff, in the weeds (3.) not enough food for the price ($) (4.) three tiny wings and soggy fries, ick! (5.) food truck atmosphere w/ poor lighting, and loud gas motor running - so loud you couldn't hear the order or the reply (6.) sub-optimal location at Cherry Creek shopping center on Menchaca. The food wasn't very good and not a good value. I will not come back, nor should you! Try the new Raising Cane's at 5601 Brodie if you want fried chicken wings! (*) One-star review for Potluck.

They are not open 24hrs , they never have change and it's over priced. drinks are hot

It could've been done a lot better. It was not up to crispy crunch and juicy standards of let's say Tumble22. I was excited to try a small food truck that was just outside some store I was stopping by. I liked the cashier's easy going vibe and loved that they were able to take the next person's vague order of "chicken and a bunch of spices" in stride. Their menu, albeit full of personality, was a bit hard to parse with all the emojis. Food itself: the fry was a bit too hard even though I ate it fresh in my car (was freezing out). I like that there was plenty of batter but juiciness was a bit lacking. I wouldn't go out of my way for this but down to give a second chance!

The staff is amazing and WILL take care of you. My wife and I just moved to Austin and Ron was so welcoming and even went out of his way to personally invite us to the events that The Potluck host. The food is amazing and we will definitely be coming back.

The fried chicken wings are great! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and good seasoning. We tried the favor Nintendo, Blue Magic and Hot Girl. And Nintendo is our favorite. Good portions and friendly service make this food truck a good place for wing lovers!

My husband stopped here on his way home from work and I'm so glad he did. He said that the guy gave him some sample wings to try which I thought was really great customer service. And wow, were the wings good. I have no clue which ones he got (he came home with 4 different flavors) and they were ALL amazing. Cooked perfectly, beautifully spicy and really big. My kids and I smashed them and were bummed when they were gone. Can't wait to go back!
