This could not be a more charming country pub. I only had a drink here with my fiancée and dog but the staff was helpful and friendly, and the interior was absolutely delightful. It was full of old rustic tables and pictures; you could spend a lot of time just looking around.
I will update this when we eat here but I am looking for to trying the food!
Update:
I finally ate here and in fact, I have eaten here three times in the last 3 days. Not only because it's great but also because it's across the street from the Rectory Hotel, where I was just married. Good times! Of course, my feelings for this place are coloured by that experience but I think it's fair to say The Potting Shed is straight awesome. The food is much more elevated than you would expect at a pub (the Tandoori monkfish in particular was interesting and fantastic). They also have one of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. You just can't believe how good the meat tastes.
As a bonus, they have a charming shed out back, with stacks of hay for chairs, and a big ol' TV on the wall where we watched Wimbledon and the Euros final. Really cool place!
