The Saddest and Biggest Atlanta Restaurant Closures of 2019 - Eater Atlanta

"5 Seasons, a beloved brewpub, closed its flagship location after 19 years at the Prado, leaving readers and regulars wondering about the fate of its remaining location on Marietta Street. It also closed its Westside location a month later due to lease issues." - Beth McKibben

Awesome chain of boutique gymnastic/dance/cheer studios, with both classes and themed camps.

Was sitting around target. Saw tyler the creator walking out to his car. Hollered at him, but he was on the phone. Felt bad for hollering. All in all cool place I guess

There's a great mix and choice of stores. It's easy to get in and out if you use the entrance with the traffic light. It's always busy at Target and Lifetime Athletic.

Convenient, clean, lots of shops and restaurants with plenty of parking

I went into Target for a few items. Major renovation since my last visit. Big improvement with organization and accessibility of products. A few products appear to have been removed, but adequate substitutes available. I will shop there again.

This complex has become a circus honestly, disorganized, people not paying attention to where they are driving or walking to, it's brought a lot of congestion to an already congested Roswell road. Establishments in this complex are fine and it's great that everything is within this plaza, but I feel as if it's over packed with shops and parking, although free, it can get daunting. Keep your valuables out of plain sight if you intend to leave them in the car.

Extremely nice shopping center with mainstay shopping (Publix, Target) and a wide variety of food choices (Genki Noodles and Sushi, 5 Seasons Brewery, Taco Mac etc...)

Yelp
Taco Mac at the Prado used to be one of my favorite stops after work. This entire plaza has a plethora of other shops and stores, from good eats to the casual shopping. There's something for everyone! I haven't been back in a while, but recently heard of The Prado being a hot Pokémon spot. I believe there are 5 Pokestops within walking distance of each other. If you find the sweet spot, you don't need to move at all to hit 3 of them. The stakeouts and constant crowds of people moving around the lot seems to be causing some traffic issues for those trying to park or leave the Prado. As far as I can tell, nothing is being done to control the traffic, as of now. Overall, a one stop shop for, really everything. You've got Lifetime to get a workout in, Target and Public for your groceries and personal supplies, and restaurants galore for your choosing. The Prado is where it's at!

Yelp
I remember for years this place was sorta empty but now it's a bustling center with a mix of food, salons, restaurants and recreations. It's located about 1/2 mile from 285 https://goo.gl/maps/mR9pd9fqES8JwQoRA just look for the Starbucks https://goo.gl/maps/Vv4A6Cbp4w7BLnhw8 The Parking garage is here https://goo.gl/maps/TouwtRAnyRi1AesB6 which is great for the summer when you are shopping and it's 100 degrees outside.... Here is a map of the place if you need it https://www.shopprado.com/map/ A list of some of the store that is here Target https://goo.gl/maps/CTicuQwiSwANhGEeA Starbucks https://goo.gl/maps/F5V7V76ngs9o9XTY9 Game Stop https://goo.gl/maps/Ynzh7wfX83YFLjMp7 Marlow's Tavern https://goo.gl/maps/CoSEttVAwbPbYPeH7 Panda Express https://goo.gl/maps/2kEVoRKs7iAGSUU29 Under the Cork Tree https://goo.gl/maps/T1Xs5x9d9xUbeCWC9 Genki Noodles https://goo.gl/maps/QeHPYUPzYPu5DUzdA Here is their website for the complete list https://www.shopprado.com/stores/ Never had a problem shopping here...always left a happy camper...no complaints...

Yelp
Wow I remember when this "center" had a Fridays and if you were cute/underage you got in and could get a cocktail....fast forward many years later the Prado went up and changed convenience in the area, more dinning options were offered such as Genki, Taco Mac & Fuego Mungo, long time restaurants like Kobe and Five Seasons managed to stay put. What you can find here - Pedicures and wings, a Sausage Festival or Chili Cook Off, dinner with wine or beer parings, pastry's, sushi, popcorn and over 50 beers on tap. Hibachi, Tex Mex, ski gear, a private room, podiatrist office, Latin fare, the International school of skincare for a massage or facials and one of the nicest gym's I have ever walked through. A Publix for shopping was put in as well as a Target and an office supply store this has become quite a large center for the things people need in the area and has managed to stay clean if not a bit congested. Finding a parking space in the general area can be a put off but if you are looking for a space the deck is available. *Be warned if you are going to Taco Mac to watch a game during football season get there early spaces run out fast.*

Yelp
This area has a nice selection of restaurants to choose from. The service was great as well. Taco Mac and Marlow's Tavern are the more well known restaurants (to me). There was also a noodle, taco, pizza, bar, and plenty of other selections in the immediate area to choose from. There are plenty of parking at the huge deck since the Pokemon trainers have taken over the "Island" and will pretty much be walking around if you're seeking the closet parking spots to the restaurants.

Yelp
This is a review for an area that contains multiple shops and restaurants. I took the kids here because this area was featured on the telly. Reportedly, this is Pokemon central for Atlanta. I guess the 'trainers' come here to catch truck loads of rare and special pokemons. This area is Pokemon friendly and I hope it stays this way. The shops enjoy the influx of customer and there is a lot of parking spaces. Thus making the arrangement a win-win situation for business and trainers. I figure I will be back to this area again , since the kids caught a couple of rare Dratini and HitMonChan pokemons. And I think I will camp out at the Taco Mac , or Wine Place.. or 5 Seasons. I'll let the wife follow the kids around while I nurse a tasty craft beer somewhere. For those with kids, make sure you stay with them. They can get pokemon frenzy and may trample your young one when they rush to catch em all. So, please stay by your kids.

Yelp
This isn't your mama's Prado... I remember when it was just Frankie's, the ski shop, and the Hibachi place. A few years ago, Target moved ITP to anchor the bright new Prado. Now with Publix, Staples, Taco Mac, 5 Seasons, and Lifetime Fitness, this shopping center is a greatly welcomed addition to the neighborhood. There are a handful of smaller businesses - a mattress store, a gaming store, Panda Express, Subway, evos, Joli Kobe, Genki, Great Clips, a nail salon, and Children's Dentistry. For me, this is just about a perfect mix - grocery, home supplies, quick meals, restaurant/bar, and grooming. It's pretty easy to get between the stores, even though they're not attached. Cars are mostly respectful of the crosswalks, particularly between the Publix and the parking lot. The parking deck is great - particularly for parking on the second level so that your car doesn't bake in the summer sun while you're shopping.

Yelp
do not lease space in the Prado. Nothing gets fixed; owners and property management company do not care about tenants.

Yelp
Property Management has been harassing the regulars for too long claiming they are "loitering" when they in reality are just paying customers. The cops and employees are friendly though. Need a new security guard and new property management. Sincerely, the Prado Squado

Yelp
Decent plaza to meet friends at. On a few occasions, I have stopped at the Target located here (including when I burned my thigh by putting a pot directly from the hot stovetop on my bare skin and sought advice from the pharmacist about what to put on the second-degree burn... don't ask why I burned myself, just a huge accident). Additionally, I have visited Fuego Mundo on a few lunch outings with a good friend who was formerly gluten-free (but who has now sensibly decided that eating most things in moderation is the real way to go) and I enjoy grabbing pastries from Joli Kobe (even if it is usually pretty dead in there). A few years ago, I went to 5 Seasons Brewing here and liked it well enough. Yesterday, I met up with my chamo (Venezuelan word for "homie" or some equivalent) to talk about interviews we had just had and life and other deep, philosophical topics. Well, maybe not so much the last part, but everything else did happen. Whenever The Prado happens to be a mutually convenient place to meet for me and friends, I usually end up choosing it. You should check it out too.
