The Best Sports Bars in Seattle

"The Press Box is well within prefunk distance of the stadiums in case you want to avail yourself of its many local beers on tap, but it’s also a fine place to spend an entire gameday. There’s vast amounts of seating, more TVs than you can count, and a menu that leans into the sports bar classics done right. What more do you want?" - Eater Staff, Harry Cheadle

Alex is the best bartender. Busy Mariners game and he was still so kind and patient. In a world of can’t-be-bothered ballpark bartenders who seem to not enjoy when it’s busy (despite awesome tips), this place provided a nice change of pace. Super close to the stadium, open after games, and while Alex really stood out, other staff members were also very friendly.

Google
Excellent chowder that pairs well with the French Dip Sandwich. Burger, fries and a pint of craft beer for $10 during Happy Hour (11 am - 7 pm). Large selection of draft beer. Fast, efficient service combined with clean dining area and restrooms make this a good place for a bite or brew.

We stopped by before the Morgan Wallen concert. Alissa was our server. She was absolutely amazing, and we would come back here just because of her. Thank you Alissa. And have a safe trip back to Arizona!

Google
We came in with a bigger group (15/16) before a Mariners game and our server, Alyssa, was beyond kind to all of us. I was with my friend and her family, who are a bit needy, but she was so helpful and patient. Would absolutely return again

Google
This is our third year having family gathering here for dinner before going to baseball game. The food is surprisingly good. Our waitress, Alyssa was friendly and provided good service. We will be back.

Google
Alyssa was great! We had a large group before a Mariners game and she handled it wonderfully. Even special requests came out correct and everything was delicious

I can't recall the name of the bartender working on Sunday after the Jay's Mariners game but he kept us supplied with drinks, great banter and conversation. Service was top notch, the drinks were mixed perfectly, and the atmosphere was amazing. I would go back here any day.

Stopped in for a drink or 2 before Weeknd Concert. Alex took good care of us. Great service and great conversation. Thanks Alex, we'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I have been here 2 times, once before a concert and the food was great and service was equally as great! We got the Nachos which are a huge portion and we all shared them, the pickle chips, my hubby got the sliders and they are tiny but tasted fine, then my daughter got a Ceasar salad and the soft pretzel. So I told my friends about it and we decided to go there before the Mariners game a few weeks later. Let me just say the 2nd experience was TERRIBLE! I am a server so I am probably more understanding of other servers. The place was pretty empty(we got there really early before the game) I was unsure if it was seat yourself or if we needed to wait so I went to the counter ish area and asked and I got the MOST SNOTTY response of "Yeah" (like I am an idiot for asking) I replied "Okay thank you!" (I try to kill them with kindness as it seems to work better than reacting the latter) we found a table by our friends who were already there and eating. Again NOT BUSY AT ALL we waited for AT LEAST 15 minutes before the same server came over to take our order. She was yet again VERY rude and made it known that we were interrupting her doing god knows what since typically when you are a server you are there to "serve". But she apparently didn't want to be there. Anyways they charge an "event fee" which is absolutely RIDICULOUS and not the servers fault but it added $14 to my bill! She brought our food pretty quickly but didn't get our drinks until we were pretty much done eating and she basically threw the food on the table, again we were all trying to be very kind but I am losing my patience by this point a bit because NO ONE deserves to be treated the way she was treating us. My daughter ordered a salad and a pretzel and the pretzel didn't come out until we were ready for our bill all of us were done and she told us there was a "back up on pretzels" Anyways I paid cash and have NEVER not left even just a little tip but there was NO WAY she was getting ANY extra from us so when she asked if I needed change I said "Yes please"! And she walked away!! So I waited for about 5 min then proceeded to the counter to let the other workers know that we were waiting for our change and the receipt. She ended up coming over with my change and apologizing obviously trying to get some kind of tip but at that point we were all over it. The food was not bad and the only reason I even gave 2 stars. People have bad days and that's okay but DO NOT WORK IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY if you can't fake it on your shift! I hope her day was better once we left! I won't go back because people like that can ruin a fun day!

Yelp
An alright Sports Bar/Restaurant. Dropped by this joint to grab a quick bite before the Seattle Mariners game on Saturday, 4/13/24. Simply ordered a plateful of Nachos and a Chicken Wrap along with a Diet Pepsi. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out to our table in a timely manner. The Nachos was pretty tasty! HUGE portion size, though. The wrap tasted funny.... Had an odd taste, almost like a sour beer taste to it for some reason. And the fries were way too salty. Couldn't finish it at all.

Yelp
Located across T-mobile Park so this is a great place to go before a game or concert. Food was alright but service was awesome! We ate here before a concert and I was surprised at how quick the servers came to our table. We didn't have one dedicated waiter, we had several! They all help each other out, so we appreciated that. We ordered fish and chips, wings, deep fried pickles, and truffle garlic fries. We also ordered some pineapple ciders. The best thing was the truffle garlic fries! Sooo good. It's really just a bunch of deep fried bad food, but nothing worth noting.

Yelp
Nice little spot to hang out at before the baseball game. First time I have been here. Bartender was pumping out drinks and keeping tabs on our table. He was very good at his craft. Didn't have any food here but looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
Food was good and the waiter JRod was excellent and introduced himself to us when he came to the table

B K.

Yelp
I went here before a Mariners game and ordered two Rainiers. They handed me the tab and it was 20 bucks ($10 each for a rainier is crazy). I proceeded to go into the ballpark and get an IPA for 7.50 on happy hour. This place is a total rip off.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great but it was really hard to find a clean table, plus the service was awful it was so bad that we couldn't even get anything else before we needed to go. Make sure you have plenty of time to eat here.

Sandy P.

Yelp
Leslie and Schy were amazing bartenders. They were professional, personable, and made amazing drinks. 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
Patrick the server is the best! He's awesome ! Nicole was so helpful and so quick with service. We love them!! The nachos were so good that we dug into them before taking a photo

Yelp
I sat near the well during the Super Bowl at this establishment. Kelsey is hands down the worst behaved bartender I've seen in 20 years. She worked bar during the superbowl and gave non-stop attitude to patrons asking for food or beer by telling them not to even bother ordering once the game started! When her tip was accordingly low, she spoke to my girlfriend about this while I was in the bathroom. STEER CLEAR OF THIS CLASSLESS BAR!! Management should be ashamed.
google avatar

Kaylena C.

Yelp
Sasha was the best server ever! Good attitude and very nice. Very helpful with my indecisive ass lol. All the love to Sasha

Laura K.

Yelp
Price gouging. There are no prices on the beer list. They were out of all pilsners on draught and white wine and had only lower quality gin for a G&T. So I ordered a bottle of Pacifico. When I got the bill I was shocked to see that it was $9. Yes, $9 for one bottle of beer. When I asked the bartender about it, she said that she's not responsible for the pricing and that the some bottles of beer cost more than the draughts. If you go to this place I recommend asking for the price of the drink before ordering.

Yelp
I have been coming here to pregame for Seahawks games. Even as a Seahawks fan, it's great to see them offer visiting fans a place to rally before the games. Sundays are extremely busy but they always have an event going on. During the regular season they do offer a buffet with drinks included making the pregaming that much more fun. If you're looking for a great place to party it up before the game, come here! Be sure to sit in Char's area in the bar. She's a great server!! Lastly, Kelsey is the GM and is great at checking in with customers while also helping the servers deliver food and drinks to help expedite people's orders.

Yelp
The food came out quick. Sasha or server rocked. She took care of us even as the place got crowded. The nachos and wings were good.
google avatar

J'Nene M.

Yelp
Sasha was a great server, friendly, fast and efficient. She got our order in right away and our food came out right away! It was great!! The food was good too!

Yelp
Stopped by after the mariners game and expected a horrible experience but Sasha proved us wrong. It was crowded but she was so helpful and super nice. Thank you Sasha! Best customer experience ever.

Christopher C.

Yelp
@Sasha rocks!! Thanks @Sasha!! Thanks again @Sasha!! @Sasha was the only one taking care of us hungry and thirsty college students!
google avatar

Christopher D.

Yelp
The food is perfect for that pregame feel, or just a night out. Sasha was attentive, but not overbearing, keeping us posted on our food and making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Lots of games on 10+ TVs.

Yelp
Horrible service! Sat there to get a drink for the Beyonce concert for 30 min and then attempted to order at the bar and was ask to go somewhere else. Place wasn't busy so I don't understand why they wouldn't want business. Never coming here again.

MA Q.

Yelp
$19 whitefish tocos were 3 tiny tacos with deep fried fish! I should have ordered a burger or salad. Beware!!

Theo K.

Yelp
Press Box sports bar exceeded my expectations in every way! The vibrant atmosphere, top-notch service, and extensive drink menu made for an unforgettable experience. DJ Kazan skillfully curated a playlist that perfectly complemented the energetic vibe, keeping the crowd engaged and the night alive. A definite go-to spot for sports enthusiasts and those seeking a fantastic time!

Ralph C.

Yelp
This was the most terrible experience I've had in a very very long time. When we first arrived it took 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Then we ordered 3 double vodka red bulls and the server said the bartender messed up.. and she wasn't sure if they were doubles or not. So we ended up with 6 single shot mixed drinks. Then we ordered the Beast Board and when the food runner came by she spilled marinara sauce all over me and my sister. She then left the table and never returned.. then we tried to get a hold of the general manager and he never apologized or tried to resolve what just happened. They never offered to comp us anything. After that the general manager left and nobody came back for another 10 minutes. This place is ridiculous. The food runner is pathetic.. plus i was wearing white shoes... this place sucks. Bad service. STAY AWAY.

Paul S.

Yelp
First time here yesterday watching the 49ers go to the superbowl. Amazing service. And the black guy bartender, he's hot! And sexy AF!

Sam A.

Yelp
Stopped by to pregame before a Seahawks game, the food was delicious! Some of the best fries that I've ever had. Although it was crowded, it was fun being among so many other fans that were all excited for the same event. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I understand people have different tastes in music, but when you're throwing a ticketed taylor swift event I would tell your employees to keep their opinions to themselves. We were there early so my friend and I decided to go to the bar to eat and drink before the event started in about an hour. For the whole entire time (not exaggerating) this old troll of a male bartender is making sexist jokes about taylor, says her music is nails on a chalkboard, needs to learn to make better sandwiches to keep a man and on and on and on. Again I get she's not for everyone but you guys are literally charging $25 a ticket to celebrate her. He knew we could hear cause we were the only ones there. We decided to leave and not go to the event so you probably lost around $250+ on the tickets, drinks, and food from us. Also we told everyone at the stadium to not go there. Get your employees crap talking in check or we'll have bad blood.

Sherry K.

Yelp
I don't normally leave reviews since sometimes food just isn't someone's cup of tea, but this merited one! Came here last Sunday. Was waiting at the door to buy any remaining tickets for their Taylor Swift event, but we left instead after witnessing what looked like the General Manager yell at and berate a young waitress to the point of near tears for sitting down near the door, even though she seemed to be explaining she had a concussion and was taking a break. Manager dismissed it pretty harshly and wouldn't even listen to the young lady. Poor thing had been running around too from what I could see with my family and friends as we were standing there. Seems like a terribly hostile work environment and left a sour taste in my mouth and we ultimately decided to take our business elsewhere.

Dalton O.

Yelp
Stopped by following a Mariners game, Bartender on staff was pretty rude and ignored our table. When I approached the bar to order I was again ignored and told I was standing in the wrong area to order. Disappointing experience.

Nick D.

Yelp
Sasha is the absolute best!!! this place was packed and she was still so attentive!! best place to come for for a good time!!

William J.

Yelp
Sick spot, say ho to Patrick and Nicole who are awesome servers! Food was great! Gotta come check this place out.

Jeff L.

Yelp
This was my first time eating at the press box. The food is fantastic! I ordered the press box burger. I loved it, and the french fries are some of the best french fries I've ever eaten. I will definitely be coming back here.

Dawn M.

Yelp
The food is good, but the service is terrible due to understaffing. Wait staff is all over the place, instead of being in designated areas. They have to take orders, clear tables, run orders & and clean up spilled drinks. No visible manager or bus people to help. Cocktails are unbalanced and over priced. Two double Jack & Cokes & an order of onion rings cost us $74!! Located across from T-Mobile park so extremely busy on game days. Used to come here for breakfast before Seahawks games too. It's a nice bar with so much potential. Give yourself lots of time before a game if you want to come here.

Scott R.

Yelp
The only reason this place is any good is because of Sasha and her choice of hot sauces!! J/K!! Super cool joint and the staff is so much fun!! Would absolutely return again in the future!

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
Sasha was awesome; she provided great service... she kept the drinks coming and made our team feel at home... The Press Box is a must visit and ask for Sasha... awesome

Matthew L.

Yelp
Sasha was "Sasha fierce". Awesome service! Friendly, responsive, and completely on point!

Viral S.

Yelp
Our server Sasha was awesome! She took care of our big group and made the night fun! The drinks and food were great as well

Edgar C.

Yelp
Great place to go for good food/drinks for a reasonable price, all while catching a game! Service was great and bartender was really attentive. Definitely going back again!

D. R.

Yelp
The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I will definitely come back!! Christy and Sasha were amazing, Thank you...

Alejandra S.

Yelp
The staff, ambiance, and food is 10/10. Patrick and Nichole had amazing customer service.

Marcus O.

Yelp
Sasha was fantastic! Great spot close to the stadium. Affordable drinks and food too!

Alissa C.

Yelp
Food was amazing the mac sliders are a must try ! The service was great and the manager Patrick was really friendly and stopped at the table to ask how our experience was. Will be coming back for future Mariners games.

Yelp
I'm new to Seattle and have found the people very friendly and welcoming. In particular, me and my family were impressed by the food options and service at The Press Box. We have been a few times before and after Mariner's games and I highly recommend the Game Day Nachos! The bartenders and servers were very nice and willing to accommodate all of our special orders (picky eaters in my crew). We love that the bar area is separate from the restaurant area for those with kids in tow. The VIP area seating looks comfy and the music is great. Special shout-out the managers that were gracious to accommodate our large group on a game day (without a reservation), when they already had a special event for the Taylor Swift concert that was happening simultaneously (it was crazy packed). I have to say, this place was transformed from my prior visits and was really cool. So many family's and kids with special stations with so many activities. I've never seen anything like it and it truly made me wish I was going to the concert instead of the game. If you're new to Seattle or a native, The Press Box is a must visit and so convenient if you're attending an event at Lumen or T-Mobile stadiums.

Scott B.

Yelp
I had a $69.19 bill. I paid $90 in cash for the food and drinks plus a tip. The Press Box then charged my card $69.19 and then took a $90 cash tip on top of charging me. When I spoke to the manager Patrick, he said he would get back to me and never did. A 30% tip is a pretty good tip. To take a 130% tip on a bill is pretty steep. Never had this happen in my life. To make it worse to never get restitution is unacceptable. This restaurant is dishonest and unworthy of having you as a customer.

Maurice F.

Yelp
Food was great drinks were fine and my server Sasha was the most sweet and helpful serve I've ever had. I will only show up to support people with her energy and thoughtfulness. Made me feel like I was welcome to come back. Plus the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. The staff are great

Antonio R.

Yelp
I have to tip my cap to this place. Bartenders were polite and servers were hot. Wings are to die for and music is nostalgic.
