For a restaurant that only serves a prix fixe menu, I was disappointed that the food wasn’t as tasty. My smoked salmon appetizer didn’t have any smoke flavoring, so it tasted just like any lox and the pasta was over cooked and drenched in cream sauce. That said, the lamb in puff pastry and the duck entrees were both excellent. Service was attentive.

Google
Amazing place for dinner. We had the 75 course meal which was perfect. Our server was awesome and attentive. Food was great!

Google
The service and atmosphere couldn't have been better. Our waitress was wonderful and inside the restaurant was very cozy. The phone number on their website doesn't work, but the Google number is correct. But we were able to make reservations despite being last minute because we kept calling the number on their website. Anyhow, Our food was very good... we both took advantage of the fixed menu. I had prime rib, salad with bleu and ramp pasta. My companion had prime rib, salad with bleu cheese and poached pears with fried goat cheese with a wine reduction. First off our prime ribs were drastically different. Mine was cut much thicker where my husband's was A LOT thinner. I ordered mine cooked to medium he ordered medium rare. I would say they were both on the rarer side. The horseradish sauce and auju both fabulous. Rib was a little too fatty, but made the dog happy! Lol. Salads were both very good, fresh and ample cheesed. Pasta was good but not hugely ramp flavored. All this said the goat cheese and poached pear with wine sauce was AMAZING (see pics) The cheese was perfectly cooked with a light crispy outside. The pears and sauce perfectly complimented the cheese. If its on the menu, don't miss this wonderful appetizer. Also ordered a maple berry mule (it was not in the traditional copper). The drink was delish! Recommend!

A bit underwhelmed. Food was just okay, ambiance was old timey, expensive!

Cute place. Stopped in just to have a drink at the bar at 5:45. 2 parties were seated. One person at the bar. As we approached the bar the bartender rudely said "Are you eating dinner. We said no - just hoping to have a quick drink. Response ? We only do dinner here at the bar". Fine but don't be so rude and we would have been in and our in 30 mins. Someone needs to tell him he's in the hospitality business.

I went to this place to celebrate my birthday because everyone told me it was the best place. I really loved their beet tartare. It was delicious. Main course was ok, cause I was super hungry. Service was ok, but my server for sure was not interested in me cause I was alone and not drinking 🤣 for example she put bread on top of the used teabag into the dirty plate, btw look at the size of the bread, huge piece)) I put it into the clean plate for pic)) I didn’t get why I have to pay alcohol tax if I didn’t drink, but it’s ok. When I asked for the check, even though I didn’t want to eat desert she bring me a birthday scoop. It was very nice of her. So in conclusion: it was ok

Google
This is one of the best fine dining restaurants we have been to. Our server Clemens was superb and a true professional--so attentive and efficient. Our appetizer, salad and entrees were perfectly spaced. He filled our water glasses without being asked, and filled our wine glasses just as we needed more wine. The food was fresh, delicious and expertly prepared. My duck was the best I've ever had and my wife's halibut was amazing. The pear ginger sorbet for dessert had the same texture as a pear. The ambience in the restaurant is nice, and it's perfect for a romantic dinner. Definitely will return the next time we vacation in the area.

Food We came here the night before Valentine’s Day and they had a $80 prefixed menu. The food was mediocre at best. So were the drinks. We had the veil ravioli and cheese board for starters. The veil ravioli was not bad, but I wish they were smaller, so it would be at least easier to scoop it up. The cheese board was very good. Next was salad, which was worse than a homemade salad. For entrees, we had ribeye and rack of lamb. The ribeye was at least flavourful, but the rack of lamb had the lamb smell, which threw me off. I would say the smashed potato and the squash was the highlight of my entree. Lastly the dessert. The cream brûlée was okay, and thankfully the chocolate ice cream was very good. Everything else They borrowed the gallery shop next door to extend their dining space during COVID, which was an interesting experience. The service was really nice and our waitress was friendly and attentive. I would have given a five star to the service, but unfortunately the food was not worth $80 per person.

Yelp
My friends took. me here for an early birthday dinner. They love this place and I can understand why. Woodstock is a perfect Hallmark movie-esque town and I can imagine this restaurant as an enticing place to get toasty and have a hearty meal. The interior is very New England and I could see it as a perfect spot for a romantic date night. We had a reservation and the hostess was so sweet and friendly. They took us to our booth and the first thing the server did was ask whose birthday it was, as it was clear my friends let them know in advance. She then not only wished me a happy birthday, but spread pretty confetti all over the tablecloth. I had a Not-So-French Martini to start, made with Smuggler's Notch (VT) Vodka, Metcalf's Raspberry Liqueur and Pineapple juice. It was good, but I would have preferred more Metcalf's (I love their liqueurs). My friend got the Harvest-Tini with Green Mountain Vodka (VT), Cointreau, Local Apple Cider, , Maple Syrup, and Lemon Juice. She loved it. We decided not to do the prix fixe, as they don't eat salad and true to their foodie nature, they ordered an array of far more food! For starters, we ordered: The thinly sliced House Smoked Salmon, served with Raifort Sauce, Capers, pickled Red Onion, and Toast rounds; The house made Country Pâté made with Pork and Chicken Livers, dried Cherries soaked in Port Wine, and Pistachios, offered with a Cumberland sauce, Mustard, Cornichons, pickled Red Onion, and Toast rounds; The Pear and Brie Strudel: delicate layers of Strudel baked with caramelized Leeks, Port poached Pears, and Brie; served with a Port Wine Cinnamon drizzle. The pasta del giorno, a ravioli stuffed with ricotta and served with a pesto. All of the above were to die for. For our main meals: My friend ordered the Carré d'Agneau Royale, a boneless Rack of Lamb, first grilled, then wrapped with Spinach and Mushroom Duxelles in Puff Pastry; finished in the oven and presented with Sauce Bordelaise. It was delicious. I had the Halibut topped with warm olive tapenade in a beurre blanc sauce, which was also excellent. Her husband had the mushroom risotto, which looked very creamy. It too was excellent. For desserts: Pâte à Choux: Profiteroles filled with Vanilla Ice Cream; topped with our house made Chocolate Amaretto sauce and toasted Almonds; Maple Crème Brûlée infused with Vanilla Bean and Totman Hill Farms Maple Syrup; topped with a layer of caramelized Sugar; Raspberry Mousse Cake: a flourless Chocolate Cake topped with a delicate Raspberry Mousse and coated with a layer of semi-sweet Chocolate; served with fresh Raspberries and Chantilly. White Chocolate Cheesecake made with White Chocolate, served with Raspberry Sauce and Chantilly. Served with a birthday candle for me! The desserts were truly exceptional. I would come back here in a heartbeat. The food, the ambience, the service, was all top notch.

Yelp
You could tell the place used to be pretty good but has just aged over time and never kept up. My old fashioned was terrible. When you get an old fashioned with a piece of orange in it and not the peel you know you are trouble. It was terrible. My main course was the duck and it was actually pretty good. Everything else was not good. My wife had the Autumn Risotto and it had some much clove it tasted like you were eating a candle or something. She enjoyed the soup. We had the cheesecake last and it was soft and mushy. There are so many other great choices in Woodstock and I would skip Prince & the Pauper.

Nicole Z.

Yelp
I don't know why they say that they could barely fit us over the phone and in person we came in and they're literally was not one person at the restaurant, but they made it seem like the restaurant was packed over the phone. The only thing that was good was the filet mignon . It was actually amazing so I would recommend that dish and the maple syrup martini. It was also very good. Everything else was OK.

Ben R.

Yelp
The hotel concierge made our reservation and we were excited for our dinner. Unfortunately, everything.wasjust mediocre. The food was average to below average and the service was bland, functional with no personality. It served a purpose but nothing special.

Kimi R.

Yelp
We went because the local recommended it, and we were psyched to have our last meal there. The menu, a $75 Prix-fixe, (adding an additional $4.00 for anything meat) tasted more like a $25 meal, with huge mark up. The food looked and was presented like a massive banquet, wedding, or graduation dinner, with the salad plates chilled and obviously prepared hours before. My filet mignon was hardly a medium-rare medallion, but more like an overcooked chewy sirloin. The sides were fine, but for $75.00 + an additional $4.00, yikes! What my wife had? I can't remember but I didn't want a bite and we left feeling massively disappointed. Best part was leaving that 80's time warp, and out to the crisp snowy fresh air!

Yelp
What a very pleasant evening and dining experience! A 4.5+! We have visited Woodstock twice this year and learned you need to make reservations in advance. So we did not get here the first trip but we were sure to get here on trip two, and glad we did!! Let's start with the reservation confirmation experience. It was a very very hot day and they called to ensure we were coming and to ask if we wanted to move inside given the heat and rain forecast. It was nice to be asked! The inside of the restaurant really has three dining options. A bar seating, booths in a dining room and a new space in front that used to be a retail space. The parlor. We sat there and loved it. Spacious, nice window views and well decorated. When we come back we will ask to sit here. The couch was very tempting to have an after dinner! That not what its there for but hopefully you get the vibe of comfort and welcome. The bar did a great job in making an drink highlighting a local rye and treated me to an extra black cherry. Its a quirk but I like to enjoy the sweet treat at the end of the meal. The meal. We split a salad that was one of the tasty dressings we have had. Light, tart and simple. I started with the smoked salmon plate and enjoyed the presentation and flavors. Our dinners were well done, with one hiccup which which the staff reacted to and handled very well. The presentation from the sauce, grain and proteins were super - they were picture worthy! Highly recommend the Halibut! Re the "hiccup", they offerred a free dessert, I declined the "free" and gladly enjoyed a local made sorbet that was full of flavor and perfect ending for a full meal and hot muggy evening. Service was excellent from the host to the wait staff. I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
During our mini-vacation in Vermont last summer, we visited this spot, highly recommended by relatives. A reservation is required, and they are SUPER popular. So, make sure to book a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance. Since we made our reservation late (which was still 2 weeks in advance!), and we were lucky enough to get their last reservation available, at the bar counter. The bar was really beautiful, made with an antique wooden bar. We started off with "Made in Vermont" cocktail section of the drink menu, and ordered Not-So- French Martini, and Maple-tini. Our bartender/server for the evening, Tracey, made our drinks and gave us the excess in small shakers. It had enough for a second glass! Thank you! The drinks were strong and flavorful, really nice! We did Prix Fixe Menu. For the first course, we chose House Smoked Salmon and Count Neck Clams, both simply delicious. What an amazing start! Second course was a House Salad, super fresh and tasty. For the third course, we had Oven Roasted Atlantic Cod, and Carré d'Agneau Royale. AMAZING. They were both packed with flavor, fireworks going on in my mouth good. Everything was so great, we couldn't just end there. So, we ordered Vienna Coffee with Irish Whiskey with some dessert. We sure how how to live! We ordered Vermont Cheesecake and Pistachio Milk Chocolate Dacquoise. The cheesecake is to die for. Oh. My. Goodness! Needless to say, we had a wonderful time here. Everything we had was great, from the first drink to the last bite. Tracey took a great care of us the entire night, we feel like we had more fun sitting at the bar instead of at a table. This was the best dining experience we had in Vermont, and we will be sure to return for more the next time we visit Vermont!

Yelp
I called to make a reservation, for four, two weeks ahead of the planned date. I left a message and I made sure to mentioned that one person in the party was vegan. I received a phone call confirming the reservation and I again made a point of telling them that there was a vegan in the party. I was assured this was just fine (they used to have a vegan/vegetarian menu years ago). I ended up calling one more time to make sure I had marked down/requested the right time. I had. I again noted that there was a vegan in the party and was again assured it was ok. In the mean time, one member of the party, "Beth" had reviewed the menu on-line and was excited to have a meal there (she is in the hospitality business in another country) We arrived and not one person working there knew that there was a need for a vegan option AND the menu had changed dramatically. The vegan managed with two appetizers which was shared with "Beth". We each had one drink, two of which were beer; it cost $400. The food tasted fine but it was a terribly expensive disappointment for all of us

Thad R.

Yelp
Just an uncomfortable experience, with certain bar staff being rude to the point of hostile. There are plenty of other establishments in town that will be welcoming and accommodating with good or better food, regardless of your ethnicity or preference.

carol s.

Yelp
The menu looked great. many of my favorite dishes. Nothing was very god there. Ended up being very expensive and disappointing. duck, lamb etc all were on the menu..all things I love but nothing was that good. We have eaten out a lot at all levels and this was disappointing and very expensive. The server was very nice....

Don L.

Yelp
My wife and I are from the Pacific Northwest and on a leaf peeping trip through New England. I called several months ahead to make reservations and noted at the time that my wife was vegan. I was told that they always have vegan options available. The afternoon of our reservation I received a phone call from the owner confirming our reservation and personally confirming they would be able to satisfy my wife's vegan requirements. When we arrived for dinner, the owner personally sat us at our table and presented the vegan options the chef had come up with for the various courses. It was not just one item, but options to choose from. This made my wife feel valued and demonstrated that they really wanted to make her experience top notch. All of the food was fantastic, and our server Amy was amazing too. We have had the good fortune to eat in many very nice restaurants over the years, but rarely have we experienced better service. It was clear that you cared. Thank you for a great evening.

Sara B.

Yelp
Overall great experience here! I'll start with the negatives. My family reserved weeks ahead of time for 6pm in the parlor. We had to put down a $150 deposit for the reservation. We called the day of our reservation to let them know we would have one less person. They had our reservation time wrong but fixed it for 6pm, again confirmed for the parlor. We arrive an hour later and apparently we can't sit in the parlor because the trays won't fit through the door for more than five people...? They kept saying "we don't know who told you that's okay etc etc" so we ended up not sitting in the parlor. It is what it is but it would have been nice if they took some accountability... like, we just called, one of you must have picked up? Now to the positives! Our waitress was wonderful. She was thoughtful and attentive throughout the meal, refilling waters, asking about drinks, and getting all special requests correct. Drinks were good but not the best I've ever had. The food for the most part was fantastic. Our group got a variety of appetizers and entrees, including smoked salmon, pasta, meat, fish, and pizza. For the most part the flavors were delicious and everything was cooked well. The smoked salmon, meatballs, and tuna were especially good. The pizza was good but nothing special. The pot de creme for dessert was a hit! Overall I would consider returning but the initial service was a little questionable, and this meal was not cheap!

Luke F.

Yelp
This was my first indoor dining experience in a long time, and I'm glad it was at The Prince and the Pauper! We had a wonderful evening here. The food, ambience, and service were all outstanding. I started with a Vesper martini with Vermont-made gin and vodka, which was delicious. We also ordered a starter of French fries, which were some of the best I've ever had. The complimentary bread was also excellent. For my entree, I opted for the sesame seared salmon which came with peanut noodles, fresh vegetables, and a delicious Thai ginger sauce. When I saw rhubarb crisp on the menu, I had to indulge, and I'm glad I did. Packed with local rhubarb and served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, this was the perfect finale to my meal. Our server was great throughout the meal, and the front of house staff was very pleasant and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

Theresa M.

Yelp
I'm not sure if Vermont has lost its tastebuds? The food was terrible all the way around including the cocktails. The only possible thing I can say is that our filet was cooked nicely although lacking flavor. Our server rushed us and had no interest in answering questions and would run off before we could ask a thing. We passed on dessert to avoid being further disappointed. Ambiance blah. I'm sorry to say it was not worth it.

Nia A.

Yelp
After reading previous reviews, I was extremely excited to try The Prince & The Pauper. Upon arrival, we felt like we were stepping into history. Dark woods, booths tucked away, there's a special warmth felt throughout. On the positive note, the drinks are inventive, strong and filled with flavor. As for the food, nothing stood out or reflected the costs of the items. I'd return for cocktails, and a whiff of history.

Sally R.

Yelp
Service and Food is Fabulous! Everything is handmade from scratch. Excellent ambience.

CaraStilling S.

Yelp
Tracey the bartender was fabulous. The pate was fabulous, the lamb was fabulous, I got the spaghetti bolognese appetizer APPETIZER to go for breakfast $21 for that is robbery. Hoping that was a mistake.

Chris V.

Yelp
Very good Prix Fixe dinner. New York Strip and cod were excellent. The duck was a little tough, and the lamb had some grizzle/chewy fat that was inedible. The ambiance was very nice and romantic.

Chuck B.

Yelp
First time visiting Woodstock. The food, service and ambiance could not have been better. The server that I had was so pleasant and had everything on the table at the right time along with serving other guests. My recommendation is that if you are visiting Woodstock make a reservation and you will not be disappointed!!!

Ellen P.

Yelp
We are never disappointed at the Prince & Pauper. The food is superb, the service is impeccable, and the building has the great old New England feel to it. We dined there last night, and our meals were delicious as always. Our server was attentive and always there when we needed her. All the staff go above and beyond, both the back and front of the house. We appreciate all everyone does to give us such a great experience.

Stephen S.

Yelp
A real gourmet delight in the quaint New England town of Woodstock. Nice ambiance and consistently excellent select of entrees. Fixed price dinner available.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
The hostess seemed put out that we arrived early for our reservation ( 20 minutes). She explained that she had just sat a 7 top with our server. I said we are happy to grab a drink and wait. We were then informed that we couldn't because the bar had patrons at it. She was able to accommodate us, 10 minutes ahead of schedule. Server was courteous and attentive. We both ordered the halibut, which was so overcooked it was almost inedible. This is when our server fell short, she never checked in and we asked for the check and left. For such a well established restaurant, it was unacceptable.

Evelyn P.

Yelp
Great experience overall. Started off with dates and cheese and tempura mushroom ! Both good. And for dinner we ordered the Cantonese duck which was juicy tender and flavorful. Eggplant dish was well prepared and quite a large portion so prepare to share . Steak was tender and juicy and fish was a little bland but overall good food!

Shawn A.

Yelp
Very nice place in Woodstock. Stopped in on a Thursday night and was able to get seated quickly. The server was attentive and very helpful when going through the menu. They offer both a Pre Fixe and a Bistro menu, but you can order a la carte off the Pre Fixe menu. I went a la carte off the Pre Fix and got the house special Carre d'Agneau Royal (Boneless rack of lamb wrapped in a puff pastry) which was delicious. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had an excellent flavor. My wife ordered the Pork Schnitzel with the Caper Beurre Blanc sause. The pork was excellently prepared and the sauce was good, but she would have preferred a bit more to help flavor the 2nd cutlet that was stacked beneath the top one. We were both impressed with the veggies and potatoes that came as the sides. The beans were still crisp but fully cooked, as were the carrots.

William L.

Yelp
Have been here for dinner many times over several years. Last Saturday night was disappointing at best. My wife's filet was over cooked so they had to cook another. My duck had a thick layer of fat below the skin which was not crispy. Waiting for my wife to get her dinner caused mine to get cold which made the fat layer repulsive. I guess we need to find a new place for special occasions.

Sam L.

Yelp
Really great restaurant where the price and quality align. There's so many restaurants these days where they have a ridiculous price with average quality. This place has everything going for it: great lamb chops, great staff, etc. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

Gt T.

Yelp
If you want a nice dinner save your money and go anywhere else. The price is not worth the food. Amazing service but food has as much character and flavor as unseasoned white rice. The best thing on the menu is wine because it isn't made in house... But amazing service and wait staff.

Kelly G.

Yelp
Total bust From the minute we arrived the hostess made it very clear she did not want us in the restaurant. We were a group of 20 visiting the charming town and looking forward to the only restaurant open. Our wait staff was happy and helpful but the hostess/owner ? came over multiple times to ask us to stop chatting and laughing. The food was good but the atmosphere was shaming and humiliating. The experience was very disappointing and the gift of hospitality was no where to be found in this place. Stay away if you are hoping to have fun.

Kc G.

Yelp
Don't make noise Don't have fun Management was unbearable for a group of 20 - all seated in an open room off the dining area. What would be very normal laughing and cheer - the group got hushed and shamed repeated multiple time. The check came immediately after the main course with no option of coffee or dessert. Costumers "complained". If so, why would one ever want to dine with their type. The wait staff was lovely, but were left in a place of serving up the dictates from above. The worst.....

Amy C.

Yelp
Ridiculous. Empty seat at the bar and a single female is not welcome. Not surprised. Won't be back ever.

Mary N.

Yelp
I came here for my 60th Birthday. We were a party of four. The restaurant is clean and quaint. Service was excellent. They went out of their way to meet every request. The appetizers were excellent- we had the crab cakes and gnocchis. Salads - were cold and crisp. For our entrees- we had the lamb and the filet mignon. Both were excellent- the filet gravy was a little strong. Overall, it was a nice night. We will be back.

Joel F.

Yelp
This was our 2nd visit to the Prince and the Pauper and it did not disappoint! The ambience is cozy, we got a wonderful table by a window. Tables were well spaced feeling covid safe. We had the cheese board which was probably the best cheese board we have had. Our cocktails were also excellent: the gin-tini and the French 75. For main courses the filet mignon demi glace with mashed potatoes was mouth watering. My wife had the salmon appetizer. We are generally light eaters so that was ample for a main course given the generous cheese board. Tracy our wait person was perfect, just the right amount of attention. We are back in a month and will booking soon!

Adam P.

Yelp
Great dining experience. Superior food and friendly and attentive staff. In tbe heart of downtown Woodstock and in waking distance of a few nice inns.

Mike H.

Yelp
Possibly our best dinner so far, the only reason I say possibly is we have 3 days left. Make reservations ahead of time, they book up fast. They seat so servers aren't overwhelmed, so you get personal attention & recommendations. Three courses are included, but you can do a la carte. We got the pate & salmon appetizers & shared. I got a filet, which was cooked to perfection. My got what was essentially lamb Wellington, yum!

Maria L.

Yelp
We had an amazing anniversary dinner. The food was excellent. It was a small dining room that had a very cozy atmosphere

Joyce Y.

Yelp
Charming interior and welcoming staff. We were greeted right away and sat in a cozy booth in the corner. Excellent service and our food was out of this world.

Shawn S.

Yelp
Just finished dinner here. The drinks were fabulous, friendly and courteous staff and a dinner menu worthy of a date night out with my SO.

Sam H.

Yelp
Truly exceptional food and phenomenal service. The Woodstock area is charming and quaint, and this restaurant really adds to it. We were so impressed with our waiter (who also ran the bar the entire time) who was knowledgeable, prompt, and very friendly. It was fine dining at its best. Covid-friendly (masks are worn and tables separated) but make a reservation! Get the asparagus soup!!

Karen C.

Yelp
A historic restaurant with great service and amazing food. We enjoyed all the dishes. Everything was cooked wonderfully.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Cancelled day of on us during a very busy fall weekend in Woodstock due to lack of available staff. Struggled to find another spot for dinner. Wouldn't recommend booking a reservation with them if you have other options.

Chris C.

Yelp
Close to a single Michelin star. The flavors were bordering on the obscene. Beautiful preparation and presentation, and the virtuosity of the kitchen comes through. I had the Ahi tuna with noodles. It would rival anything in Singapore or Tokyo. That speaks volumes: a non-Asian restaurant hitting it over the center field wall with an intermittent cuisine and outside their menu structure. To start I had a lamb curry turnover. Off the charts. My only complaint is it was only a single tiny turnover. Give me one or two more! The two sauces in the ramekins were delicately layered, and I could have drank them. The attention of the chef and staff to everything that comes out is a testament to their efforts for culinary excellence. Don't bother with the Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn, it's a great disappointment. This is the place to dine in Woodstock.

christian C.

Yelp
Like falling down the rabbit hole to 1982. The dining room is carpeted and the overhead lights are faux, electric "candles." Similarly, meals come with a salad in advance, that's like the lamest salad in a hotel ballroom during a conference. Wine is served in ridiculous chalice glasses. The chicken was bland and flavorless, smothered in a sticky sweet sauce. The strip steak came with garlic butter and whipped potatoes, a la Ponderosa. At least service was attentive and earnest.

Rai H.

Yelp
Everything was good, tasty and fresh. Service was excellent. Nice and cozy seats. French onion soup with apple cider was really tasty and different than any other french onion soup I ever had. The fish everything was cooked perfectly. Cedar plank char was excellent

Janice K.

Yelp
Had dinner here last night. The pâté and ravioli for appetizers were outstanding. Salads for intermediate course was lovely with a fantastic vinaigrette. For main course, I had the pan seared scallops which were amazing and my other half had the rack of lamb which was more ample than your normal portion. Coffee was fresh, everything was wonderful. Service was spectacular. We highly recommend.

Nicole A.

Yelp
Everything was delicious - from starting with the warm baked bread and ending with the most delicious cappuccino and everything in between - plus the service was excellent and the atmosphere was the perfect small town charm one would hope for in Woodstock, Vt. A must!

Mindi W.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE! An amazing and reasonable 3-course meal. The best smoked salmon appetizer of all time. The nicest wait staff and most lovely atmosphere. A memorable meal. Can't wait to return.

Brian L.

Yelp
Service was excellent. My son and I split the Snapper entre along with the NY Strip Steak. The Snapper was delicious however, the New York Strip steak was tough, chewy and truly a bad choice. We were a party of 10 and at $96.00 ave. per person, including drinks and tip, I thought is was a poor value. Not again.

William W.

Yelp
Me and my wife were in the area for a getaway weekend. We couldn't have started it off any better. What a great dining experience. To start the hostess greeted us promptly and was very polite and friendly. The atmosphere was of an old tavern setting and the noise level was low. Our waitress can only be described by saying that she unbelievable. She alone deserves 5 stars! She was knowledgeable of the menu, very polite, very attentive( the restaurant was booked), she served our food at the perfect pace. This next thing might be a little quirky but the way she served our wine the most elegant we have experience in years. We dined from their Valentines Day prefixed menu. From our appetizers to our dessert. Everything was delicious and cook to perfection. When in the area a definite! must!
