The Cheesecake Factory’s New Fast Casual Restaurant Comes to LA First | Eater LA

"Situated near Thousand Oaks, the Promenade at Westlake is a Caruso property that has been trying to upgrade its dining offerings recently; it's slated to host the first-ever Social Monk Asian Kitchen this fall and has plans to add a Shake Shack to the property this year." - Farley Elliott

I took my wife here yesterday to grab lunch at Marmalade Cafe. The Promenade has a lot of different dining choices and there also a Barnes and Noble here as well. There also a World Market furniture store and Brighton as well. There are many parking spots here so you'll likely find a spot when you come.

Before we begin, this is a review about the Santa experience at the Westlake promenade. The promenade itself is a nice shopping center but I would definitely not recommend going here for santa. I took my four kids here and the first thing santa said was, "Now listen kids, please do not tell me what you'd like for Christmas as I already have the sleigh loaded up and can't take any more requests. But let's take a quick picture together." What Santa does not allow the kids to ask what they want for christmas? We spent $100 on pictures and the kids don't even get to say what they want for Christmas? That's ridiculous. I don't know if they're just trying to rush everyone through or if they're trying to be sensitive to parents that already bought gifts but if it was the latter then they should just say ask the parents ahead of time how they would like Santa to address the kids. To blanketly not accept any requests ruins the tradition of a Santa visit. We definitely will not visit again until this is corrected

Lots of shops and eateries, as well as a grocery store. It's very busy mid day during the week. There is parking but you have to scout a space. The mall has beautiful fountains and rose gardens. It's a fun place to shop overall.

Cool place to hangout, read books, eat, drink, buy clothes and cosmetics products. You can stay there for hours, days and months, it’s still cool! Moreover, the fountain is beautiful and during the end of year holidays, it’s all luminous with a huge Christmas tree. Love it!

Our Simi Valley store closed so I drive here. Love to browse and find unusual things. Gingerbread soft cookies.

Nice place to come & hang out. A lot of good restaurants, World Market has great stuff for decorating your home, eclectic & cool. Movie theatre, Sees Candy, Barnes & Noble (books & coffee!). What's not to like. Nice ambiance here at Christmas.
