Where Tobin's used to be. The new facelift includes a tiki bar out back, gates that look out to the parking lot, and a poker-room-esque interior with a nice stage built in to the corner for live music.
Drinks consist of local, domestic, and imported beers. Basic liquors and maybe one or two wines. Don't ask for an Old Fashioned here -- it's a pub in the armpit of Jersey Village and Cypress, i.e. Copperfield. Food is decent. I'm a buffalo wings kind-of-girl, and I can tell you that the wings are pretty decent (my all-time favorite is Wings 'n More). Only complaint is that the food takes a while to come out BUT most ppl don't come for the food (although they do have daily specials on food). So, if you just want to grab a drink, watch the game, and meet some friendly ppl, The Pub is the place.
Some of the cleanest restrooms you'll find at a pub/bar. Staff is friendly and crowd is diverse. Food/drink prices are about one dollar sign. There's a great backyard patio where you can play life-sized beer pong (think 20 gallon trash cans), bags/cornhole, fire pit, and another stage for MORE live music.
Also, I counted twelve TVs inside. TWELVE. Big TV outside and a couple more little ones spread around the patio. Fun, laid-back atmosphere. Good job, Pub Pub.
