Tommy and Amber are wonderful! You have a full view of the line and Tommy is constantly changing his gloves and works in such a clean and professional manner. Amber is a great bartender and your glass is never empty! She is so on top of things. 10/10 recommend. Great sandwiches and great drinks.

Good dive bar for cold beers and good food. Had to wait for the cook to get there but enjoyed the hospital atmosphere and environment. Lots of regulars and casual engaging employees. Could be cleaner but that's why it's a neighborhood dive bar.

When walking in to The Pub N Grub, Tempe I was immediately greeted by the waitress which took our drink orders right away. I ordered a beer which was Ice Cold and a BLT that came out delicious! My girlfriend ordered deep fried mac and cheese which came out nice and hot and had a little jalapeño kick to it! If you’re looking for a quick drink and a bit to eat in Tempe, The Pub and Grub is a must try!

Decent spot with working people. Good music, good beer. Decent fries. Bartender was great. Underwhelming burger. If it was an actual good quality beef patty I'd rate it higher. The locals obviously like the place. As a "dive bar" it's good.

For a "dive" bar it's as good as you make it! Always a great place to hang out with anyone!! Cooks are very good at making what you want and the Bartenders are exceptional....

LOVE this place. I live far from the bar, so I don't come very often. Every time I've been here, the service is great, and the food is amazing. This place reminds me of what Arizona was like when I first moved here 25 years ago. This place isn't fancy, doesn't have a "concept" and isn't hip, but the vibe and energy is old school, and whenever I'm in the area, I will always stop by.

Been going to the Pub N Grub for 20 plus years and can't speak highly enough about it. Ownership and staff are fantastic, food and brews on point, highly recommend Terry's place. Thanks for all the great memories

Love this place. CHEAP drinks and food. Went in during happy hour and the owner was funny and said my drinks are already cheap as it is, it's always happy hour. Great answer. Food was good too, very well priced and you can see the cook make it right in front of you. 2 pool tables, $1. Will be back

I can see why this place is where it feels like home cooking for those who eat here. The owner puts his great energy into everything this place has to offer. Great food! Fun place to watch TV aka football games. It might just might be a hidden gem for others. But a great place to go enjoy each other's company with some delicious food! The vibe is always a comforting one that's for sure.

First found a ROACH in our drink. Then waited over an hour for our food, reason being they only have one cook & because ours was a big ticket it got pushed behind others per the waitress. THEN when we asked for our bill to be discounted due to the horrible service, got an eye roll from the server & $10 taken off. Been here in the past & was never like this but won't be coming back. Owner didn't seem to care.

Great local favorite that has been around for ages! This is a full bar that serves up the best prices in town! Get in here for cold beer and great prices and don't be shy! Try the food too, Terry and his crew will hook you up, proper! You can play some pool or watch a game on one of the tvs. Darts and jukebox are inside too. Remember to bring quarters for the pool table and don't forget to bring a few friends!!!

This is a very cool hidden bar! Me and the bestie came last night since we both had a hard week, and were in need of fried food and ice cold drinks. We got a pitcher of IPA to share, as well as a few shots. I love that they serve your beer in a chilled mug! The shots were tasty, had the Starburst and lemon drop. Food was very good, and so cheap! We had the fried pickles, fried Mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, and fish and chips. The service was as good as it could be for being a busy Friday night, and only 1 server working. Will definitely be coming back !

This bar is great and not the least bit rape-y. The bartenders are lovely, the locals are respectful and sweet and everyone takes care of each other.

Service is suspect. This establishment seems to be understaffed at times as that has been my experience. I love the ambiance and special feel of a dive bar atmosphere. I mean that with the utmost respect. That is my thing and attracts me to these spots. Just something I love to be a part of. Likely an off day but I will check back in the near future. As far as food is concerned, I have had their club which had plenty of meat as well as the hamburger. Juicy and pretty satisfying.

Love the good comfy bar atmosphere with great music and a couplenpf pool tables. Great beer selection, great food too! The fries are so good, don't know how they make them so great, just trust me on this! Also try the breakfast shot, it is a great experience. Locally owned and operated which is a great thing to see. Nice lil hidden dive bar.. ice cold beer on tap just like I love it! Got a little sampler basket with fried poppers, mushroom, rolled taquitos and gator tots it was ok as bar food gets, but I would definitely be back for my cold dos xx on draft and the nice service ...

So I went out on a limb to try this place and my oh my am I glad I did! I posted on a local Facebook group asking for the best fresh cut fries in the area, and multiple people said Pub n Grub - so we went! We came in on a Saturday a little after 5:30. It's open seating, very casual (it's a dive bar!) and everyone was really friendly. Definitely lots of regulars there, which is cool! I ordered fried pickles to start...can't resist them! I didn't even take a pic because I was so hungry and the pickle chips were perfectly crispy! The cool ranch added some nice balance. We of course saved the ranch for the fries later ;) We both ordered burgers - I had the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had a bacon bleu burger. They both tasted awesome and were nice and juicy! You do order the fries separate, so we ordered a large to split. Whoaaaa the large is huge! We ended up taking some home. But holy cannoli were they exactly what I was looking for!! Literally the BEST fresh cut fries!!! We already can't wait to go back! I have my eye on the wings next.

First tjme here. Cool place. I had a burger and fries and a drink. The burger was awesome, but the fries were soggy and cold. Without even asking, the server removed them from my bill. That was cool. Cheap drinks and affordable food. I can't wait to check this place out again.

Great little hole in the wall dive bar with strong drinks, cold beer, and delicious cheeseburgers! Sometimes we literally go just for the burgers but once we are there, we just can't say no to a breakfast shot complete with bacon

Tried to go here for a second time with my guys for lunch even though the first time was a disaster...over 2 hours for 5 guys to get lunch. This time I saw the writing on the wall when the waitress snorted and said "yeah there's only one of me" when we tried to order food at the same time as drinks. I paid for the 2 of 5 drinks that made it in the 15 minutes we were there and went elsewhere...you should as well.

Great food and wonderful food and the atmosphere is definitely a comfortable place not really for kids but teenagers is okay. But I love this place low key and nice and good people.

I have been coming here since I was in the womb.. no joke since I was a baby and I still love coming here being in my mid twenties. It's your favorite dive bar! Terry (the owner) is GREAT. He loves his customers and community and takes pride in his bar. Get here early because it gets PACKED! If you plan to order food, order right away, it can take some time if the bar is pretty full. Get the SEASONED fries. Fun fact! The Pub is the originator of the breakfast shot, so try that out! I'm pretty sure Toby Keith wrote "I Love This Bar" after the Pub!

First time visiting this place. Food, prices and service was great. The cook was awesome.

This place is always on point with it's patrons. The prices, quality and taste are always to the advantage of the consumer! Good luck finding these prices and this quality anywhere in the area.

It is a hole-in-the-wall bar and that has some cheap beer. And the food is not that bad either. I usually come here for my friends because they dislike the cheap food in the cheap beer. The atmosphere and setting is pretty standard and generic. There is nothing fancy about the place at all. It is not like a bar and grill at a mall or in a fancy parking lot, but just a normal bar and grill that is plaza but they small parking lot. One of those places only the locals would go probably. But yes, the have their burgers and fries, the beer, the liquor, and probably some food that's not good for you. But hey, you're probably there for the fun time. Not the healthy food. It is a nice out-of-the-way place to go for drinks and some food.

Went on Friday 04/21/2023 The food was okay but the service my 3 friends and I got makes me never want to go back ever again. Our server was one of the rudest people I've ever met and generally I don't even write reviews but I feel like it's worth it to tell how awful this was and if I knew the servers name I would give it. I have never had a server turn away from me ordering in mid-sentence. Practically made my friend cry. She also forgot almost every single order we made and charged us for drinks we didn't end up getting and barely said a word to us. By far the worst service experience I have ever had in any restaurant or bar. On top of it she dropped our checks on the floor when we were going to leave. Needless to say she didn't get a tip on a $100 tab and easily never deserved it. If I was management I would seek corrective actions. You cannot treat your customers like that. We as customers did not choose the servers profession. If you don't like service don't do it. It's embarrassing and shameful for the rest of your establishment which seems to otherwise offer good food and a nice atmosphere.

We've been coming here for years. Service is good, food is great!! Our favorites are the green hornet sandwich and the Philly steak sandwich. Both are fantastic. Their home made fresh frys are a must have. Beer is cold. Plus a tv in every viewing direction. Good place to watch a game or whatever. Nice little local hangout.

Great atmosphere, the owner is absolutely fun and I hope to go back again! The drinks are affordable and my friend ordered the sampler that kept us satisfied.

This place. How have we not found it sooner! We are Arizona natives/East valley natives, and never been here. If you are looking for amazing comfort food, where everything is good, and the vibes are good, this place is it. Not a dive bar, not a pick-up bar, but like a cheers bar that serves up your drinks fast, and the cook serves up your late night food right in front of you. It's been here since 1985, no changes, and no signs on the outside. Terry, the owner, is often there and takes personal pride in the place and in being with his customers, We loved it so much we are coming back tomarrow and determined to try everything on the menu.

What a great place! I come here after work sometimes, on a Friday or Saturday night sometimes but never any set time or day. I've always met new people, had good food and the beer is ice cold. I've never been asked for a card to open a tab which I thought was strange. When I asked the bartender (who happens to be the owner) he said he wants people to feel at home here. They have great food, the best prices in town and their own special called the "breakfast shot". Terry, the owner said his record is 1,006 breakfast shots in one day. That was on a Christmas Day. I would love for him to beat his own record this Christmas Day (hope to see you there). Seriously, if you ever want to go to a place where you can feel welcome and have some really good drinks, go to the Pub and Grub. You will not regret it.

Love the pub! I've passed by for practically my entire life and would always joke and call it the "biker bar" as a teenager. My friends parents all came here back then. Now it's come full circle and Pub is my go to spot. Mal and Shelsea are the best bartenders. The owner is the awesome and an extremely friendly guy! Chill vibe, great prices, and the breakfast shots are the best!!!

Great little bar, the best burger I have had in AZ... 1/3 lb patty that did not shrink, fresh bun and even fresher tomato, lettuce and pickle. Tots were also nicely crisp and tasty. Beer was cold, but not the coldest in AZ as the menu notes. Service was good, but I am never in any rush when hanging out at a bar

Checked this place out because i heard they have really good happy hour specials and boy were they right. A few beers in and a appetizer sampler $20 later I was happy as can be. The customer service was very good and I will definitely come back.

This bar is a perfect getaway for a late night meal or snack. The prices for the burgers are amazing! The quality is very good and the staff is friendly and accommodating even at busy times. They have a nice bar area and both booth seating and tables. On the opposite side they have a few games and pool. They also have a juke box, so there is always something interesting playing. This is a great place to come to watch football games as well, they have plenty of tv's everywhere.

Great Food. Reasonable Bar prices. I even had a choice of N/A beers. If you want a neighborhood Pub. This is a really nice one. Not a divey-dump, but a modestly honed concept which serves the public well. Added bonus for our 2-wheel chums: Motorcycle parking. The way this place faces AWAY from the street makes it a teensy bit hard to find, but totally worth the trip. Take Guadalupe Road East from the intersection with Alma School and turn south (right) at the first driveway. Quick drink or Celebration. Snack or full on meal. Pub 'n Grub has you covered

After a few visits I can give Pub n' Grub a resounding five stars. Great food, friendly service and ultra-cold beers. I'm a wing lover and they make an outstanding version of Buffalo wings--perfectly prepared to "extra crispy" as I had requested. Burger was fantastic and the prices are so reasonable. If I lived closer this would be a weekly stop for dinner. Thanks for the consistently nice experiences!

What a find! This place was a recommendation while I waited for my car at Midas. The burger tasted incredible and the beer was cold and delicious. Service was fantastic and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!

This place should be called Pub'n Grubby. The place needs a serious cleaning - as in it's y.e.a.r.s overdue. The food is very reasonably priced, but it's mediocre when it comes out. Oh, and by the way, it will take forever to come out. My husband and I ordered fish and chips. From the time we walked into the place until our meals were in front of us is was just a few minutes shy of an hour. The food is cheap, but the environment is depressing and dirty and the service takes forever. If you're broke enough I guess it's worth it, but we won't be back.

Sweet mother of alcohol this place is one of my favorite dive bars. What really pushes this place into the top spot beside the authentic atmosphere, good greasy food and cheap prices is a shot called "the breakfast shot". This is a well known secret menu item, it is a orange mapley shot with a strip of bacon on top and it tastes like liquid breakfast. Call an Uber because you can't have just one of these amazing shots

My wife and I went to Pub'n Grub on the recommendation of my future Nephew-in-law. He usually has good recommendations so we gave it a try. We weren't disappointed. First, I'm not sure how many waitresses they had working this particular evening but on a regular basis 3 would come by and check in on us. They weren't there too frequent to be annoying, so right off the bat, kudos for amazing customer service. As an appetizer we ordered Taquitos and they were a good start. My wife ordered a Patty Melt which is her go to if it is on a menu, she was really happy with her selection. I ordered the Philly Cheese Hoagie, is was delicious. We split a large order of fries, seasoned, they were amazing! The food was really good and we will definitely go back but the "moral" of this story was their service. If they are half as good as they were for us when you visit. I am confident you will go back too!

Ok, seriously, talk about a dive. My dad has been coming to this place religiously for a few years so about a year ago he dragged me along for our weekly dinner. It's the kind of place that you could totally walk right by without noticing it's even there. Walking in is like stepping back to the 80s with the dark atmosphere, old school (legitimately) bar decor, classic rock (if the games aren't on), and the beer flags. They've got an area with tables and booths, the bar seating, and a couple pool tables in the back. You'll see all types in here, too: young 20-something's, biker types, quiet guys at the bar, families in the booths... This is all great but sadly, I think the last time the bathrooms were cleaned was in 1980, too. It's strange that this is the case because the rest of the bar and kitchen is immaculate. They only have one small little griddle for cooking all the burgers they bust out but they clearly have a great system down. Every time I've been here the same cook was working and the bar staff consists of maybe three or four women. Fairly often the owner Terry is in and that's always a treat. He's so personable and so on top of things. It's hard to serve a beer as speedily as my dad can drink it, but Terry is always Johnny-on-the-spot and most of the other staff are pretty great, too. For such a dive you would think the food would be a little lacking but no such thing. They serve up some of the best quesadillas, fish and chips, and burgers (according to my dad- I don't eat beef) that you can find in any bar in Chandler, Mesa, or Tempe. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a calm and cool night to have some beers and chow down on great food. I totally recommend giving this place a shot, just make sure you hit the bathroom before heading over.

I love this place, but that's because I love dive bars. If you're looking for a friendly dive bar with dirt cheap prices for amazing bar food this is the place to come! I love getting the half and half mushroom and zucchini basket and their burgers and sandwiches are delicious. The only thing I would recommend staying away from is the fish and chips because I got it once and it came out hard and rubbery. It as way over cooked and I was kind of bummed, but I still love this place and will be back!

They raised their prices and worst service you will ever have. Used to be the spot with a long wait and good food and bad service. Now it sucks.

Bad ass bartenders and always on top of their game and always hustling! Ridiculous prices for cold beer and great pub food!! These are just a few of the reasons why I keep coming back ! Remember people, you aren't in snobby Scottsdale.

This is far from being a pub, I would just say it's a bar, nothing special, nothing Irish about it. Basically a WT bar in my opinion. ‍
