On the Grid : The Punchline

"The Punchline is one of the largest, oldest comedy clubs in the city. It’s attracted some top talent in the past; if you can think of a big-name comic, they’ve probably graced the stage. It recently made the move to Chastain after being in Sandy Springs for over three decades, and now shares space with the Landmark Diner located at the corner of Piedmont and Roswell." - Russell Shaw Design

Google
Attended my first show here and was pleasantly surprised. Seating is tight but that’s the same for most comedy clubs. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the place. Very intimate. You have to enter through Landmark Dinner who also supplies the food for the comedy club. We didn’t order food but others at our table did and it looked delicious. Huge selection of cakes and pies. Parking is free with plenty of spots. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
They staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. The set up for a comedy club is ideal, with low ceilings and adequate stage lighting. Plus they get a variety of comedians, from well known to up and coming. I enjoyed performing here, and can't wait to go back.

Google
Visited with the family to see our first live stand up comedy which was hilarious. We have a great time. Loved the fact that the place is also a diner so you won’t have to stay hungry while enjoying the show. The food was amazing and the staff were kind. We had a great experience.

Google
Rocky Dale Davis was great ! Go see him. You have to get 2 items on menu and taking us free ! Sunday show was fun and packed

Google
I went to see Kelsey Cook and it was fantastic The place was packed they were very efficient for a place of the size that it is and it was completely packed. We only ordered a couple drinks and they came out right away. A lot of times in the scenarios in the dark and stuff when you get your bill sometimes you get the wrong bill but no they were right on the money very friendly. Also if you need to use the restroom there is two single stalls in the bathroom ie one woman one man. But there are multiple bathrooms in the restaurant that you have to go through to get in and they're all under the same roof everybody's very pleasant and if you're hungry they have good food but they have wonderful things in the diner as well of the diner is 24 hours. The atmosphere and the stuff on display at the diner reminded me of City Cafe

Billy Guardell June 14th 8pm show section 2. All comics were absolutely hilarious. Me and my wife laughed so hard. 5 out of 5 for the comics. Service was 1 out of 5. We were seated as soon as the doors were opened. Waited 10+minutes for our server to take our order l. We give him our drink order and desert order. We don't get our first drink until after 1 comic was done and another comic was almost done. My.wife didn't get her slice of cake until Billy came on stage. When the server brought the cake, he told me my desert was not available. The only reason we got a second drink was because another employee saw our empty glasses and asked if we wanted another drink

Google
You could tell we were first timers . . . everyone around us ordered dessert or drinks. We hadn't had dinner and had a very mediocre dinner. Kelsey Cook killed it. So five stars for the show & three for food.

Google
When you end up at the Landmark Diner you are not at the wrong place! It is inside to the left. We thought iur GPS is taking us to a diner. Lol. The show started a little late, but way worth the wait. Too funny Kiki opened for Craig Shoemaker. Both were super funny. Had the shrimp cocktail and wings both were good! Excellent night for laughs with friends.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to have Michael Palascak & Jamie Bendall Wednesday night when I visited. They were excellent! However, food is served by Landmark Diner. Fair from bad but not top shelf dining. The club is intimate. Seating for the club could be more comfortable and table setting is cramped especially for bigger people. Besides opening up the room a little bit, this is a great place to see a set!

Yelp
First let me preface with the fact that our event, a comedy show, was AMAZING and deserves 4-5 stars. However, I'm reviewing for the venue itself. First of all, there's a sign that says minimum order of 2 items per person, and the items are fairly overpriced. Whether they adhere to that rule, or what happens if you don't get 2 items, I don't know. Secondly, you are a little crammed in there, so if you're bigger than 120lbs or taller than 5'5, you might find yourself feeling a bit cramped. I also didn't feel like the tables and floors were very clean (a bit sticky) and there's nowhere to put your bags if you have any, unless you want to drop them on the sticky floor. Now if you got a meal, you'd have to face the table to eat, which is kind of weird because the chairs are faced towards the stage and away from the table, so now you're either not watching the show, picking up your plate and trying to eat with it and your bag on your lap, or not eating at all until the show ends. Volume was also a bit iffy, and our comedian had to request the mic to be toned down twice. Restrooms are in one side of the room, so if you're a poor sucker (like me) on the opposite side, you either have to awkwardly walk past everyone to get there OR walk into the restaurant it's adjoined to and awkwardly walk past all the guests enjoying their food. I still had a good time because the comedian was great, but just not the most comfortable venue.

Yelp
What a fun date night idea! We got there early and had a drink at the diner bar before the show started. I would say get there right on time if you don't want to wait outside as there wasn't much room inside in terms of a waiting area. Once they were letting people in, seating was very efficient. The service during the show was excellent! Plus every seat in the house seems to have a good view of the stage. Next time we'll have to try some of the food at the diner that is attached to Punchline. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The Punchline used to be located over in Sandy Springs but relocated to this Diner. It sits off Roswell Rd, near the Buckhead side of town & Felini's Pizza. There is ample parking if you're catching the first show of a series but plan to wait for parking if you arrive for any later shows. Entering is confusing. You actually need to enter the Diner main entrance, and you'll see the Punchline entrance on your left as you walk in. Or, you can be clueless like us, and walk up the ramp to the locked Exit door. Seating is tight in here. I recall this space being used in the past for stand-up nights and being very open with seating. Then again, these were mostly nobodies trying to start a career for themselves in comedy. Our table had about 12 people and drink service was slooooooooow. Assuming they might have been short staffed, but it took our waitress about 15 minutes to get to us, and she greeted the newer people that came in after us. I will say, they made my bourbon/sprite strong! The comic we came to see was HILARIOUS. Best performance I've seen. So this place draws top talent! Plus, the cost was not bad at all ($25/person and you do get an assigned seat when ordering online). We also got a photo with the comic afterwards While this isn't a place you'd pick for atmosphere or comfort (or fast drink service), I do recommend it for any comedian you like and want a more intimate setting with. We felt up close and personal during the performance, and that was priceless!

Yelp
This was my 1st time at this location. I used to go to the old site all of the time. There is MUCH BETTER parking here (large lot) and a more extensive menu. It is connected to the landmark diner (hence the more extensive menu). The drinks were nice and strong & Alvaro was an excellent server. The wings & fries weren't the greatest, but the fried artichoke hearts were delicious! We appreciated the free slice of cake for my mom's bday. Every seat has a great view. All comedians were great (the first one in all previous shows wasn't always the greatest). I miss the coupon codes they used to leave on the table way back in the day cause I'd love to come back (without the $17 handling online fee). Overall great experience!

Yelp
This is half of the Landmark Diner building. Nice intimate venue to see comedy shows. I like the visibility and proximity to the stage from any seat (there are no bad seats). It took a long time to get a waiter to our table even after going to the front and asking (after waiting for a while). We didn't get drinks until about 15-20 minutes into the comedy show. Everything else was good, and I'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Very intimate club that is compact and not much room for eating dinner. All chairs face the stage and some chairs face away from the tables.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, it was terrible. The comedian was horrible. The food and drinks are way overpriced and not well made. I don't think I would ever go back.

Chase C.

Yelp
I love thé Punchline in Buckhead! By far the best place for amateurs and Huge Stars! The owners and managers here are amazing. 2 drink Minimum, the servers are nice and I saw a lot of folks not getting a drink. At least order Water or Soda if ur not don't drink. Leave a TIP! The service is great as well. Will be back!

Me G.

Yelp
Just dirty. The drinks were just awful. One of Two restrooms were out of service. Vomit on the floor near the restroom. I will say the servers were nice and the hostess too. They need to invest in cleaning and fluffing up the place. Very sticky and it is a shame because the 1st two opening comedians were really good. The last was no so much. But I think there is great potential just clean the place and work on the drinks. Just bad.

Rick M.

Yelp
How can you beat comedy and cocktails?!? While I think it is crass to stuff yer face during a show, you can come early and eat beforhand! What a concept! The food is quite good and the deserts are sublime. The service couldn't be better. Can't beat an old fashioned diner for quick service and a great room.

Yelp
The Punchline is iconic to the comedic circuit and Atlanta. This was my first time here and it's in the basement of the Landmark Diner. The state of the building of the diner and the inside of the comedy club, you can tell this place is OLD. We had to wear masks when we visited on 08/22/2020, and when I took it off to take a sip of water, you could smell the "old" of the establishment. The club itself is draped in burgundy crushed velvet curtains and yet the seating was plain black tables and chairs - if they had designed this place with the esthetic of the drapes, this place would be a vibe. Service here was very nice and the food and drinks we ordered came from the Landmark Diner on the 2nd floor. Drinks we're good and not too strong but expensive. Food on the other was lack luster. I ordered a Monte Cristo and it was a soggy mess. The sweet French toast with the turkey, ham and cheese was just off putting. The fries were really good and had a crispy coating to them. Servers and staff wore masks and the room max was 60 people. Tables were taped off and everyone was spaced out okay. We came to see Jeff Heffron, impromptu as tickets were not going to be used.

Yelp
My business hired 2 comedians (Nick Murphy and Andrew Stanley) through the punchline to come do an hour of stand up at our office this morning. They were here on time, prepared and most importantly, they CRUSHED it. Had everyone laughing while still keeping it classy for a corporate event. We worked with Marcey to book them and she was also communicative and easy to work with. Would def use them again and recommend them.
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Really enjoyed Funny Man, Jermane Johnson, but had I known the venue would have been so cramped I would have not bought the tickets. My legs started cramping and could hardly stretch them out. You should also be aware that you have a 2 item minimum per person from the menu. This was a surprise upon getting to the door of the club. This is mentioned nowhere on the website, FB page or during the ticket purchase process. If you decide to go the the club, plan on an additional $ 20-25 per person.

Dan F.

Yelp
The comedy was great but unless you're going to the First scheduled show of the night, don't bother trying to get there early unless you're having dinner in the diner. You'll be standing outside waiting in line. Good news..you'll have assigned seats. So why come early. Also, when choosing seats, you'll be packed in very tight, so try getting corner seats. Also, the server only takes drink order once, so order all of your drinks for the nigh when they first come!!
google avatar

Mark T.

Yelp
Saw Greg Fitzsimmons with my wife and son recently. Had a great time. We will be back for sure!
google avatar

Heidi L.

Yelp
Not a good experience and 2 hours of my life we can't get back. Started very late - how does that happen with 3 shows, and this have this schedule week after week. 4 comedians in an hour even though we thought it was just one. Maybe with a warm up. They got worse as they went - the best was the host. A couple of laughs the entire time. America's got talent guy was horrible. Like an unfunny woody Allen. Dragged things on. Got our notes, not part of his shtick. Every comedian should have a go-to joke when they bomb to make fun of themselves that at least you laugh at the every end and you walk out laughing. These were all an eye roll as they ended. I didn't order food because it didn't look good on the menu, mostly fried food or things not easy to eat when you are supposed to be watching something else. It must not have been good because there was a lot of food left on plates. Fries have to be pretty bad for people to barely touch them. And this wasn't an audience of super models. House wine was forced down. Kind of a racket getting this room filled up, everyone ordering dinner, and really just passing the hour someone on stage less funny than my own family. I can't imagine eating in the diner and waiting for food while they rush out food to this group of 250.
google avatar

Ksenia F.

Yelp
I love Punchline for easy laughs and people watching. Last comedian a saw there was Paul Virzi and the guy was hilarious. You can order food and drinks although don't expect anything special. Take it for what it is. There's plenty of parking and they do a good job with social distancing. Get your tix online ahead of time.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Fun place! Could use some re organizing to feel less jam packed, drinks are strong, but a good time.

Jack F.

Yelp
Bought tickets for a show at 10:00. Sitting here at 10:45. Just got let in 30 minutes late been waiting for another 15 with no service. Still no comedy show despite the clock running on the time slot we bought. Similar experience last time. Do not recommend.

Pauline H.

Yelp
I had a great time. The comedians was funny and awesome. I would've gave five stars but the waitress was pretty horrible.

Teresa G.

Yelp
The comedy was great. The seating and food were below standards. The tickets were a good value. We will go back, but I will get better seats.
google avatar

Yelp
NO SECURITY. DO NOT GO HERE. We spent 95$ on 2 tickets to a Saturday night show, another $120+ on food and drinks only to walk out after the show at 11:45pm and have our car window broken into and over 1500$ worth of items stolen out of the car. There were 3 or 4 other cars broken into at the same time. Now i understand things happen and its on me for leaving anything in my car. But if we spend over 200$ to see a national act i'd expect some sort of security in the private parking lot. No one cared when we went inside to ask about cameras or security in the parking lot. I heard a "welcome to atlanta" in the background as i expressed my frustrations. Police did not show up until 3am we wasted our entire date night dealing w this. The following day cost me another $650 to have my window replaced. Doesn't matter how funny the comedians are if this happens when you leave. i cant remember one punchline.. but i keep finding broken glass in my car.
google avatar

Yelp
We got to see Paul Virzi and Lace Larrabee this weekend. They usually have back to back shows (8pm and 10pm). The wait staff is very attentive throughout the show without causing any true disruptions. Drink menu is slightly limited...no imported beers or seltzers. The comedian was ragging on a couple that ordered hummus..definitely not the spot to order hummus (it's a diner). My date ordered the philly cheesesteak that came with fries. Food is just ok. You are really coming here for the comedy act anyways! We had such a fun date night here. Highly recommend.
google avatar

J G.

Yelp
Came in last second for a stand up comedy act. It was a good environment and the show was funny. The food is AWFUL. I can't emphasize enough how terrible it is. My god. But everything else was cool.

Steve K.

Yelp
Got re-seated multiple times because the paper and pencil system they use causes mix-ups. Food was bleh, and drinks were mostly water. Seats were packed so tight I felt like I was straddling the stranger in front of me. Overall could not recommend unless you absolutely must see a particular act that they bring in.
google avatar

Stephen T.

Yelp
This place is great to go to for a nice comedy night. I have been about three times to see my favorite comedian. Food is always on point and the staff is amazing. I want to give a special thanks to Marcey for being an awesome gm for the place and a great front person for the company. She is very genuine and professional.
google avatar

Paul Y.

Yelp
I'm not rating the talent here, just the venue itself... because the real joke is the $15 watered down drinks in a lowball glass, packed with ice. Stick to beer in a bottle if you can, even though that's $7, but at least not watered down. My friend ordered three Seven and Sevens; they charged her for Crown Royal and then wouldn't fix it. They said there was no button for Seagrams 7... there's no way Seagrams 7 is comparable to Crown Royal... bottom line is, it's kind of unfair pricing and quality when you have a "two drink minimum" show. The layout is no different than other comedy joints, cramped but intimate... ticket prices were great especially if you're quick to respond to shows and can grab front row tables.
google avatar

Vanz E.

Yelp
I saw Preacher Lawson and he was awesome. The venue... nahsomuch. I went solo so I selected a seat at the bar. I don't know if this happened before or after I purchased... But I later saw that you can't buy single tickets, you need to buy a minimum of two. The seating chart is so not to scale. I initially was going to get a seat to the side in section one, but it looked like it was in Siberia. The couple next to me thought it was misleading too. The seats at the bar were so packed in! I couldn't turn around to the bar to eat my food. And when I was turned to the stage, people walked by and kept hitting my knee. And I'm on the short side! About the food... I was hoping that since it was adjoining a popular diner that the food would be a whole lot better. It was not. Very disappointing.

Marchand 6.

Yelp
Food sux. Venue sux. Drinks $uk. So pick a good comedian. This is not a comedy venue (and most are not) that cares too much about the paying public. I don't want to call it arrogance as much as the culture of stand-up.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
Been here before always a good time. Don't ask for water (though I got a bottle of beer) $4.00! They don't just have glasses of water. Screw that!!! Just rip off the patrons why don't ya... I know some don't drink at these places and just want water... but c'mon.
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
I saw Sam Morril here last night and it was fantastic. I really loved how I could order food here and have it count as one of my 2 items ordered for requirement for the ticket. In New York I couldn't do that. The server did take a while to get to us but I think she had about 25 people on her hands so that's understandable. The wings here are meaty and fantastic to taste. I know that this is also a Greek Diner so they randomly have a lot of Greek favorites. Pretty sure it's authentic because the owners are Greek.
google avatar

Shayla F.

Yelp
I had a great time here. The group of all 5 of us laughed a lot. More people should come to this place. The drinks were great and the food looked decent, we had already eaten though. The comedians are obvi amateurs but that's part of the fun!
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
Fortune Feimster was hilarious! But I expected nothing less... We went to the Sunday night show...and the headliner was by far the best part of the evening. I was super excited that you could order diner food at the club... the excitement didn't last long. The food was way over priced, and the quality of it was mediocre. I ordered the turkey burger, and no I wasn't trying to be healthy, it was the only burger that supposedly came with onion rings. Instead I got cold fries. The burger was your standard frozen patty. I'd come again for a show, but I'd definitely skip the food in favor of the slightly overpriced beer.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a comedy club people! Get over yourselves. I'm not exactly sure what all these reviewers expected to see, eat or feel but their expectations were obviously way out there. Seriously people, if you're looking for fine dining, beautiful ambiance and very attentive wait staff with time on their hands to wait on your every annoying, over the top, high maintenance request, then you should go somewhere else. If you are looking for a fantastic comedy club with very hard working Waitstaff busting their butts to keep up with every single order and get it right. Drinks made perfect, then, this is the place! It has a vary Greek mob vibe to it and the bathroom is kind of unisex. Bottom line, we had a great time. The punchline is exactly what it needs to be. A comedy club. The two drink minimum is par for the course. Just about every show you go to anywhere is going to have that. Bottom line, go for the comedy and you'll leave happy. Go with an attitude and you'll leave whining like the rest of the 1 Star reviewers who obviously do not understand, well

Yelp
This is my first time here. Before coming here, my husband and I weren't sure if we should eat at club or somewhere else. After much searching around the internet, we discovered that the 2 item minimum include dinner. So that's what we did. We had dinner there expecting standards to be low. Besides the 2-item minimum requirement, we also wanted to know about parking - valet or self-park. We didn't like having to pay someone to park our car. So, this place has self-park and the parking lot is quite big. But of course if you are coming in after the first show, spots might be limited. So now with parking and food item mystery resolved, we were excited to get in to enjoy a night of laugh. As you enter, your server quickly served you, took orders for drinks then coming back to take orders for food. I had the shrimp wrap while my husband had a reuben. The food came fast, warm, didn't feel it was microwaved. My shrimps were cooked just right, had some spring as you bite into it. The flavor was not too salty, I would prefer less ceasur sauce in my wrap but it wasn't so much that it killed my appetite. It was still superb.

Yelp
Last night was my first time attending a comedy show at The Punchline and I absolutely loved it. It didn't take a long time to get seated. The food was delicious, the drinks were strong, and the comedians were hilarious. I'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Jesus P.

Yelp
I have been to the punchline twice now. The first time was when they were in their old location and went to see Felipe Esparza. I had a great time. I just recently went to their new location to go see Carlos Mencia and the show didn't disappoint. They have a 2 item purchase minimum. The bartenders are really generous with their pours. Looking forward to my next visit to the punchline.
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
I went here for the first time just a few days ago. While I may go back if they bring well known comedians like Maz Jobrani, I thought the place was dingy, uncomfortable, claustrophobic and overall depressing. I didn't eat any food so I can't comment on that. The service was pretty efficient and the price for a a sprite and a glass of wine were reasonable. But the place itself just sucks! Also, the online system to buy the tickets is awful. Had major hurdles trying to buy the the tickets were absurd and the service fee was ridiculous. It was $30% of the total ticket price!!! If you have other choices to see well-known comedians, make sure to choose option B.
google avatar

Sebastian M.

Yelp
I liked this place because they didn't really enforce the drink minimums. We saw Ryan Davis there and it was just the right size it was a great time
google avatar

Stacie B.

Yelp
Went here for a Bert Show event and loved it. The food was decent, drinks were good and the comedy was gold. Fairly large venue compared to a lot of other comedy clubs, yet still has an intimate feel.
google avatar

Jasmine M.

Yelp
I saw Yvonne Orji and loved every bit of the show! I'm giving this place two stars because of the food and service. There is a two item minimum per person which is fine. Your safest option would be to order two bottles of water for 4 dollars each. Yea, I know that's high for water but trust me. Eat and drink before you get there.
google avatar

Michael J.

Yelp
We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. All in all a fun time. This was graduation night and had newer comedians some good, some not so good. My issues were with the food and the time it takes to get said food. We were at our table long before anyone else and then over an hour before we got food which was mediocre at best. I have been to several of the "diners" around town and all were much much better than this. The two item minimum is a drawback as well. $3.50 for a bottle of water and $11 for a margarita are outrageous. We may try again but I give it 50/50 at best. Hats off to the "new" comedians who I guess had their first time on stage. They were all well prepared and all funny... some more so than others. Good for them for trying it out.
google avatar

R N.

Yelp
They get big name acts here. The chairs are uncomfortable. It's a two item minimum not a two drink. You can get an appetizer and a drink and be good to go.
google avatar

Nick A.

Yelp
Went last night and saw K-Von who was hilarious. The host, Hank Denson could have been the headliner he was so talented. The reason for 3 stars is the venue. They pack you in with little to no room so you're constantly bumping into everyone next to you. The servers have about 40 people each so they can barely juggle the amount of orders coming in while charging for everything including $4 for water.
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Saw the guy from Mike & Molly here last night. He was very funny and we had a great time! but I suppose it all depends on who you see. It was very surprising that in a relatively small club the show was not sold out. The place is attached to a diner which is where the food comes from. Food was just ok, but drinks were good. I would return
google avatar

Chassie N.

Yelp
Sugar Sammy is the worst comedian I've ever seen. He literally jokes and degrades any woman in the room. He was talentless and distasteful. Went to the show with 8 people from out of town and we all left with in 15 minutes of his stand up. Punchline should be ashamed of there self. I will never go back.
google avatar

Yelp
I have to say I truly hate giving negative reviews on yelp if I don't have to but I feel that I should make everyone aware of what they're getting themselves into before they come to this place. I am trying to make a long story short here but it's not likely going to happen because this was one of the worst experiences of my life but hey here goes. My wife and I were on vacation in Atlanta as I had a work conference there and flyed her up to be me for the weekend. We decided to go to a comedy show as we do in most places where we visit we love a good laugh. We bought tickets to see and I'm going to put this name in bold for a good reason LYNNE KOPLITZ. She had a great resume however most of her stardom has passed. I figured hey I've seen plenty of comics who have been in movies etc. etc. and maybe at the end of their career but that doesn't mean they're not still funny! The night started out with us trying to find the place which shares space with a diner. After walking through the door and seeing half of the patrons to my right ( the diner side) enjoying scrambled eggs bacon and all of the other accompaniments you would find in a diner we checked into our left and were ushered into the comedy club side. We were quickly set and the waitress was prompt in taking our drink order. My wife ordered a Malibu and diet Coke which was clearly not Malibu. They had dumped a cheap lower brand coconut rum into a Malibu bottle. That set the stage for what's to come. The opening act was a bigger gentleman who was hilarious I really enjoyed his comedy I actually gave him a complement once he walked off stage and told him how funny he really was and I really enjoyed his segment of the show. There was then another female comic that came on she was pretty funny as an opening act for the headliner. As we waited for Lynn to come on the stage we made friends with the people at our table as we usually do since we are social. They were a great couple from Atlanta and it was also their first time there. And this is where our experience really starts to just go downhill. Lynn entered the room stumbling. Once on stage her words were slurring so much that we had to pay extra attention to hear her. At that point after about 10 minutes of trying to understand what she was saying I turn my wife and I said I think it maybe time to go. My wife in turn looked at me and said let's just give her a chance and we did. Lynn was obviously very under the influence. We stuck it out for about another 20 minutes the waiter came by delivered our bill and my wife and I turned to each other and we're discussing the bill. And this is one of one of the strangest things to happen to us. We are very easy-going professionals and Lynne decided it would be a good time to call out my wife in front of everyone. To be honest we were not even looking at her at that point because we were with the waitress paying our bill. After the room became quiet and she began pointing out my wife we looked at each other and then looked at her and said yes? She then slurred her words and insulted my wife and called her a stupid millennial which actually being a millennial, it would've been a complement because she is a generation Xer not a millennial lol. I think we'll chalk that up to Lynn's blurred vision. The couple at our table were looking at her in awe wondering what she was doing. As the other two people at our table stared back at her in wonder she apparently took offense and then ordered all of us out. The staff at the diner itself we're fine however I am a little perplexed at the reason why they would agree with her to remove us. I guess she is the headliner and she makes the rules. I am willing to live with that but I will tell you this is one of the worst experiences in my life at any venue whatsoever. As a sidenote the next day I did call the diner and asked to speak to the manager somebody came on the phone who was not the manager and said the manager would be getting back to me. I wasn't surprised that I did not hear back from anyone.....

Yelp
LOL. No literally I was laughing out loud almost the entire show. We came here for my birthday celebration. There were 2 opening acts and then the headliner. One of the two opening acts was awesome. The was witty, excited, and generally a funny person. The second was painfully bad. She was from another country, so I am sure it would have been absurdly difficult to get up on stage and tell jokes in another language... but besides that, all of her jokes seemed to come straight from the internet... There was no common theme or storylines to her jokes, just one-liners that I had heard a lot of before. Honestly, toward the end of her act, it was just hard to listen to... The main act was fantastic. I really enjoyed the show. My negatives about the location however is that it is soooo crowded. Like no room at all. In addition to that, there are only two restrooms for everyone in the entire club. At the end of the show the line was silly long. One last note, after we had parked and were walking in, we noticed that someone's window had been smashed out. We told the management and they made an announcement between the shows that the person whose license plate was xxx needed to go to the front. Frustrating that you go to a show in a safe area only to have to pay $200 plus to get your window fixed in addition to whatever got stolen. I guess they should beef up the security presence there.
