The Pure

"Fans of the austere contemporary design that forms the back-bone of the Design Hotel concept will love this new fifty room hipster tucked away in a non-descript side street near Frankfurt’s main train station. Like most design hotels, this place is mostly self-service—you carry your own bags and no one fusses over you when you arrive in the stream-lined all-white lobby,, which has sort of “Clockwork Orange” or Courreges gestalt right down to the rounded edges on most furniture and backlit bar which also serves as the reception desk. The Wenge parquet-floored rooms are high-ceilinged, decently sized and all-white with square accordion shades on over-head fixtures, white-leather-upholstered head boards, and wall-mounted media centers (TV, Musicbox). A small but well-equipped workout room, glass-walled sauna and steam shower form a wellness center in the basement, and if the hotel has no restaurant or room-service, Frankfurt’s best pizza place, 7 Bello is just a few doors down and does takeaway. If this place is comfortable and a good buy for Frankfurt, a few design idiosyncracies—the long back panel of the desk meant heavy-duty furniture shifting to plug in a lap top and a lack of insulation can mean undesired intimacy with one’s neighbors—should remind groovy architects and interior designers that style should never prevail over substance. Lots of welcome details, like free wireless internet access, great Thai herbal toiletries, and feather duvets, put this place a head or two above other center-city style contenders"

The Pure Hotel (Frankfurt, Hesse) 20 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Pure’s former life as a textile factory leaves little trace on what’s now Frankfurt’s sleekest hotel. There’s nothing you’d call industrial-chic, no exposed brick or metalwork or funky old doors: this place is as smooth and white and cool as an eggshell. White marble, white leather, white lacquer — the celebrated local architect and designer Oana Rosen finds the button marked “futuristic” and presses it repeatedly." - Tablet Hotels

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location, 300 metres from the main train station. There are plenty of good restaurants closeby. The fresh tropical fruit at the breakfast buffet was particularly appreciated, as was the welcome drink.

The room is clean and cosy. Hair dryer is a little bit old. Service also very nice. They offer guests a free drink per person at the check-in day. Location: 300m away from the central train station and far away from the "Rotlicht" zone. It's quiet at night.

The Pure Hotel in Frankfurt is sleek, stylish, and design-forward, with a minimalist vibe that feels both modern and welcoming. I travel to Frankfurt often for work, and being next to the Frankfurt Train Station makes this location unbeatable. I can get from the hotel lobby to the airport in about 25 minutes, door to door. Beyond the convenient location, The Pure Hotel has a great atmosphere the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff are immensely gracious, especially for weary travelers like me who prefer a certain type of room. The rooms are cool and eclectic. From the Marshall speaker to the boutique amenities in the bathroom, I loved it all. Each room has a small fridge, fast wireless internet, ample workspace, and perfect lighting in the bathroom. While these might sound like basic amenities, it can be surprisingly difficult to find them all in one place while traveling in Europe. I also appreciated having a bathtub to rest and relax after a long flight. One of my favorite features was the window that opened, letting in crisp, fresh air while I got ready for the day. The Finnish sauna and fitness center had everything I needed to stay on track with my health goals. The Pure is one of those standout hotels that I will return to often during my travels to Frankfurt.

Great little gem in a central location I stayed here one night on a business trip. For that kind of trip, I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and will certainly be back. The rooms, lobby and breakfast area are beautifully designed, the staff is friendly and extraordinarily helpful, breakfast is fantastic and the location close to main station is very convenient. The only downside are the unpleasant characters on the street in which the hotel is located, so I wouldn't stay here with kids.

This was a real gem of a Hotel amidst other, far more expensive, options in the area. An appealing foyer with decent breakfast area and an outdoor terrace garden too. There is a sauna and various massages/spa treatments, etc available for those who wish them. Our room was lovely, with decent storage space, a comfortable bed, great aircon,an excellent shower and a coffee machine. All the staff we encountered during our week long stay were extremely efficient, helpful and polite... Although we didn`t book breakfasts, preferring to eat in our room, we did see the breakfast lay out and it looked impressive. They have a great system where, by skipping a day of room service, you can earn a 5 euro voucher for their bar.. We skipped three of our seven days, giving us a free drink on our second last night.. We,truthfully, could find no fault whatsoever with this Hotel. We`d give it 10/10, Gold star

A bit rundown, and a little off the beaten path. But close quick walk to main train station. Gym is tight and sauna was out of order. But coffee maker in room, free bottled water, and upgrade to terrace room made our stay better.

The best thing about this property is the location and proximity to the main train station. Nothing else good to say. Marriott Bonvoy Benefits - non-existent. Was rudely told by the hotel front desk clerk that my Titanium status with Bonvoy basically meant nothing as they are just a partner hotel. No breakfast included at all. He couldn't even be bothered to tell me what breakfast costs if I was interested in purchasing. I'd choose Gekko House down the road if you want your status to mean something. Service - front desk staff was very rude (but he was efficient in getting me checked in lightning fast) and gave the "I don't want to be here and I don't care" vibes. Bed - extremely uncomfortable. I've slept on cots that were more comfortable than what was provided. Paper thin pillows hardly provided any neck support and a tiny comforter that barely covered my body. Bathroom - small and difficult to get around in when trying to maneuver around the doors (shower and bathroom door). Moldy tiles in the shower. Excessive pressure in the sink and got blasted with a jet of water (not even over exaggerating here) every time I turned it on. I absolutely would not stay here again in the future.

This is a typical 2-3 star place. Tired and basic. The issue with this hotel is its location. At first proximity to the main train station may be an advantage but the area is over run with drug dealing, prostitution, homelessness and is not at all safe. Some say it is safe during daylight hours and even if that is right, and I doubt it, it is extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn’t stay here if it was free.
