My wife had a fish stew and I had chicken tikka masala. both were good, but saltier than we liked. wine selection is OK, but if we come back the next time, we'll stick with the beer. Last time, over a couple of years ago, my wife had fish and chips and I had some traditional English dish, which I don't remember. I think we were a bit happier last time than this time.
Service was very good.
Also, sometime after the meal, I felt as if my stomach had trouble digesting the food as quickly as usual. No, I felt otherwise quite fine, but maybe the food is heavier than I realized while eating.
So, overall we enjoyed the food to give it a 3*-4* rating range, the service was a bit better, but the saltiness and the heaviness leads me to just rank it between 2-3*. Hence the 3* overall.
We will likely explore the menu more. a 3* restaurant is good, in my book, but not so great as to come regularly. If we're in the area, we'll likely stop by and try the English vs. Indian menu.
