We didn't try food there, but cocktails were great. It's such a cool noir vibe there, something in between Alice In Wonderland and Twin Peaks. Would love to come and see a show next time.

Great snacks! The pork belly slider was fantastic with a nice balance of slaw. The oysters were fresh, cold and delightful. They were pacifics, nice and firm with almost a nutty finish. The house made chips and dip were yummy, crispy and salty. The chips paired nicely with a cold beer. Its a great spot to stop for a snack, and though we didn't have any entrées I would imagine the rest of the menu to be high quality from our small sampling! **cheers!**

This venue is a 'must experience' in Seattle~! TINY, intimate club that guarantees you are close to the performance, with excellent service, and delicious food and drink for an affordable price~!

Great live music venue right at Pike Place Market. Cool spot downstairs with great staff, food and atmosphere. Sat at bar, bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Food came within a reasonable time and the salad was crisp and fresh. Restroom was easy to find and very clean. Didn’t stay for band due to time but based on just the sound check they were worth staying for. Second visit, will definitely have it on my list for another time.

I love this venue, I performed here when it was the CanCan.. heres the thing. My friend and I bought tickets to see a fettish burlesque show. They over sold the theater seats and told us to sit in the bar. We couldn't see the stage... the show started 40 minutes late. The host didn't know the words to the opening song. We left. All dressed up for nothing.

I can’t believe that this place has been there for so many years and it’s just now being discovered being by myself. I’d literally always go up stairs. I never go down the stairs and goodness I did an amazing place. I love it here went and seen magic with a twist, feel bad for the artist sometimes this isn’t the best stage but they did the best they could Anastasia just thank you guys

We didn't get any food here, but the venue is so great! I didn't even know this place existed, but I am so glad we found it. The space is cozy and the drinks are delicious. There is a good amount of seating for a small venue. Bartenders are quick and polite.

Continued our night here, was surprised with a free comedy show. Staff was friend got us two seats. Drinks were okay. Missed the rest of the beginning of the show so it was an awkward time to come in. Overall would try this again on a non event special night

What a fun venue! We visited on a Friday afternoon and were happy to find a singer / pianist providing a performance (no entrance fee). It's located below street level, enabling a darker ambiance fitting for even daytime performances. It really sets the perfect mood. We had already eaten prior to our visit but the food menu looked to have some great options to try on the next visit. The Painkiller cocktail was a tasty tiki treat. The bartender was friendly and helpful when we had a request. I'm looking forward to returning.

This is a neat hole-in-the-wall bar that I stumbled upon while visiting Pike Place Market. They had a DJ spinning some classic hip hop and it seemed like a private show because there were so few people here. I grabbed one of the many empty seats at the bar and basically had the bartender to myself the whole night.

This place is so cute! I stopped by during a ghost tour of pike place and loved the vibes. They were setting up for a live band to play too, which seemed really fun. The staff was kind and helpful and had a great rapport with our tour guide, which made me feel like they are probably pretty beloved by other market staff. I got prosecco with a splash of cran and while this is not a complicated drink. I was still impressed! Very cute glassware and reasonable prices. I would love to come back here to see live music and enjoy Seattle with friends! It feels very old-Seattle to me (pre-tech influx) which was nostalgic and felt very genuine. Really liked this spot.

It feels like they are going for speakeasy vibes, but not really succeeding at the execution. It's owned by the Triple Door, so they are also trying to replicate the "table service and a show" experience but in a space that doesn't really lend itself to that. They really cram you in like sardines. Several people were sitting on essentially half a chair because the folding chairs were tiny and their seat neighbors were very large. Everyone's knees are in your face. Everyone's farts are in your nose. This kind of environment can feel quixotic-but-fun, or it can feel chaotic. This venue is definitely in the chaotic category. Since it's so tight, there's hardly space for the wait staff to walk around. Apparently they are up to fire code as there was quite a bit of discussion at the door about capacity limits, but it's really pushing it. They also seem pretty disorganized and likely under staffed: the cook was coming out with food themself, orders were going to the wrong tables, while other tables were being totally ignored. No chance at ordering directly from the bar, since there's no way to walk to the bar. Based on what I could hear, at the beginning of the night before most of the crowd had even arrived, they already seemed to be out of half the beer/wine on the menu as well as several food items. All for Triple Door menu prices. Overall, this venue is only worth it if you are going for a specific artist. I really enjoyed my evening but that was wholly on account of the performance not the facility. It would not be worth while for "dropping by for a drink and some music"

Located in Pike Place Market, this space is awesome! The atmosphere has cool decor with a speakeasy vibe and the staff are awesome! There are different events that go on so be sure to check out what's coming next! Now the break down on the food. The shrimp tacos were spicy enough and had a great flavor with a fresh taste and vibrant sauce. For the slider, though it's a small bite, it packed a punch of flavor. The grilled onions, pickles, and burger sauce made every bite perfect! Last, the hotdog had 3 cocktail wieners with cream cheese, ketchup and mustard. Overall it was ok and not a bad bite to try. Last but not least, the drinks. The Dark and Stormy has a fantastic taste and bursting with ginger flavor. It was quite refreshing with each sip. Next, the Saint Alice had a delicious blast of lavender with a vibrant purple color. My favorite, the Princess Angeline, is a fantastic prosecco cocktail. The deep red color made the drink pop and had a refreshing sparkling wine aftertaste. Overall, it was a great time here. I can't wait to come to an event here and try more of the menu.

What a cute place we stumbled on while visiting Seattle. The bar is a hidden gem (in plain sight), and great vibes when you walk in. A band was playing from Ireland when we went and they were pretty good! Menu was nice and lots of choices. Drinks were yummy, and great selection of unique non alcoholic mocktails. The bartender was nice and helpful. The only downfall was how hot it was and not much air circulation. I'm used to the humidity, so it was tolerable. Could use more air circulation, but overall a great first time experience.

A cool underground spot for local shows. We popped in on a Friday night for a jazz group that had come to town. Doors opened almost an hour and a half before the show and seats filled up quickly! We found a little corner in the back to hang with our group, but I would suggest getting there well in advance if you're looking to grab seats in the main area. The cocktail bar was quiet pretty and there was a really interesting selection of drinks. I chose the Silverstein which was a refreshing mix of aperol, champange, lemon, and elder flower. Cocktail prices were steep, even for the Pike Place area, so plan accordingly. Would happily join for another show in the future!

We came here to see Maya the Experience play and really enjoyed the space (and her music). The service here was also very good. We order the fries. They were mid. Pretty rubbery and undercooked.

I had a FANTASTIC time while on my solo trip to Seattle in November. They had live music, top notch ambience and amazing drinks! My server was very friendly and helpful and helped me be a bit more daring with my drink choice. I wish I had a chance to try the food, but it was a very spur-of-the-moment visit and I had already had dinner. The next time I find myself in Seattle, I'm running straight back to The Rabbit Box!

Hey Yelpers!!! The wife and I happened upon the Rabbit Box after reading about it in the Pike Place Market newspaper. It is located down some stairs just across from the Pike Market entrance. You'll want to Google Map it. This place is retro is a cool way. Dimly lit, but not dark, with lots of dark velvets. To describe the music... chill, sultry french cafe... but can't say if they always play that because they were prepping for a specially themed 30's cocktail party that evening. The music fit the vibe and it was fun. Their happy hour starts at three and has some decent specials. Check their website for current offerings. We had a couple drinks and small plates. The food was great, a nice take on deviled eggs and some chilled oysters. I had the Missionary's Downfall drink. Minty and good with a healthy pour to it. One was enough since I still had some walking to do. The wife tried a new rosé cider they had just picked up. That was a pleasant surprise. A light, bubbly cross between a cider and a wine. As for the service, the bartender was doing double duty and did a great job. Very friendly and helpful with drink recommendations, and checked on us constantly. This is DEFINITELY a spot to come for a drink while on a date for a little private time while also allowing you to not feel alone. They have live music some nights, so you could bring a small group of people here if you wanted. Check the website for a calendar. We'd go back, and you should check it out as well!!!

Found this place while exploring Pike Place and was not disappointed. Friendly people all around, bartender was excellent; think his name was Tristan. I had a recommended drink that was rum based and it was good, his version of the old fashion was awesome. On a short getaway so I asked him for food recommendations. He went with the crispy chicken pinch bun and a side of fries. The pinch bun was delicious! 10/10 overall I loved this place, hole in the wall vibes with excellent service and food.

Bartender mad interesting and memorable. Kept talking about BJ Gooch but the drinks were fire so i'm not mad. Memorable Sandwich.

My husband said this place is too cool for Pike's Market...and he's not wrong. It's truly a real hidden gem! We arrived JUST before closing, our mistake. The service was great and so friendly. The drinks were delicious, very craft cocktail with fair pricing. The place is eclectic and the vibe is pretty awesome. We were fortunate to catch "The Waddlers" for a night of live music. Their sound complimented the entire feel of the place.

Really enjoyed this experience! This is a quiet enclave in the chaos of the market. You are underground, under the 19th century skylights that look like tiles on the sidewalk above, enjoying your drinks as people walk overhead. The drinks were complex and nuanced, and the bartender was friendly. We also enjoyed the deviled eggs and the honey and cheese plate. I'd say the honey and cheese was much better value, but considering the prices elsewhere, nothing was exorbitant here. The atmosphere is also great, small tables and room for a band.

Oh boy. Heard so many good things about this bar before we went. The live music Sunday is great, the drinks are well crafted, bartenders are nice. I think bartenders bring somewhat nice is the only thing this bar has going on. The music was this sleepy mix of blues and rock. Not the vibe for a night out if you're trying to attract an audience. I started to nod off multiple times. I ordered "a novel in 3 lines" a spicy tequila based drink, gf ordered another drink under the love section of the menu though I can't remember the name. My drink felt like drinking rubbing alcohol and a squirt of lime drunk through a jalapeño, while hers was the most accurate take on robbitusin I'd ever tasted at a bar. At least mine came with a post card, overrated, overpriced, no reason to come here unless your at home coughing syrup doesn't do it for you .

Like Cinderella's slipper, I was looking for a perfect fit for a birthday activity. Not a big or pricey show, good musicianship and nosh with drinks. Enter the Rabbit Box and the always entertaining & skilled Dusty 45s. Before I get too far in, please, PLEASE tip the band if you come on a Thursday night. The suggested cover is $10 a head & that's being conservative. They are amazing, fun, and very good musicians, they (and all other bands) deserve your cash. I love almost everything about this tiny venue-sound is great, seats are comfy, food is delightful. We ordered Milk & Honey, Panzanella salad and Galacian sardines. All plates were well proportioned & reasonably priced. Well drink prices are on the high side & they charge extra for soda water. Service is uneven but always friendly & the bartender is fast & skilled. Come here on. Thursday & you'll have a ball.

This is a charming live music venue and lounge found in the subterranean space formerly occupied by The CanCan at Pike Place Market that's absolutely worth a visit for people looking for a happy hour or night cap with the potential for live music. It's intimate, with an Alice in Wonderland vibe courtesy of the long evergreen velvet benches, wall sconces, arcaded hallway, exposed beams, vintage baroque furniture, playful chandeliers and green and gold perhaps french inspired wall paper. I will say the benches are pretty high. I'm 5'4 and had to grab a chair to give me a boost up.... but once upon my perch the view of the space was lovely. The cocktail program is respectable, with interesting drinks for a variety of tastes. I will say the prices are high...$17 per cocktail but they are good. Among the sampled drinks were The Blackbird (with pomegranate liqueur, creme de cassis, squid ink tincture and splash of cava and the perfect vampire drink), The Painkiller (a very tropical, rum-based drink) and The Missionary's Downfall (a blended, rum-based drink with more sweet and fresh mint). All were well-made, presented and delicious. Also sampled was the rotating soup, a fiery clam chowder (about a 3 star out of five). It was delicious: great texture, herbs, plentiful clam meat (you'd have to try and come up with a spoon without clam) and perfectly cooked potatoes. If not for the spice (delicious, but rough on sensitive tummies), this could be the best clam chowder in the hood (even over Pike Place Chowder). As it was, scrumptious and much enjoyed. After hanging out at Radiator Whiskey, this place feels like a library. I think if you're looking for friendly service (spotty at first but warmed up) quite space, excellent cocktails, small selection of beer and wine (we noticed they don't have ciders btw), a respectable food menu with both pub eats fries, burger and the like, as well as fancy plates like marinated black cod - here's your joint. I came here the other day for a touring comedian's show, and I'm so happy that this venue exists in what used to be the can cans theatre. This venue has a pretty robust drink menu, and a lot of food options, although the price trends pretty high. I bought a cocktail and an entree and it ended up being just under $50 after tip. The seating and ambiance is pretty intimate, close to the performer and the other audience members. My one note is that the server was clearly undersupported, and she needed more staff. It would be a great venue for a QR code ordering system! After about 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, I went up to the bartender to double check there was a server. The bartender sent me back to the seat to wait for my order. I ended up going back 15 minutes later and putting my order in at the bar because the server still hadn't gotten to me. Server was super friendly when she came with my order though! I had a great time here and I'm excited for future shows!

Really beautiful place! Saw some great music and the drinks were amazing. Definitely a unique spot to take anyone visiting Seattle!

The cocktails are delicious and strong. The painkiller had crushed little ice , nutmeg, 4 rums. A comedy show was getting setup, we popped in for one quick drink. It really is a cute little rabbit hole off the market. Little hot in there but in all fairness it was a 90 degree day! The staff were friendly at the door.

Let me set the scene: New Years Eve day my gf and I had missed our train from Portland and then when we got to the hotel we were supposed to be in New Year's Eve night, the hotel (no connection to this place) said they didn't have our reservation. By the time I got us settled in another hotel and we got dressed up to go out on the town it was like 8:30 pm. New to the area, we decided to go to Pike Place and see what new year's happenings were there. Well, to our surprise, not much. We walked everywhere in the vicinity and nothing that really happening in Pike Place Market. My gf was trying very hard to make our new years night a good memorable one and was seriously striking out. It was turning out to be one of the worst nights ever for her. Then the strap on her shoe broke and she was very very close to losing IT all together. I tried to stay positive and continue on, but we went from place to place and didn't really find the right vibe. She wanted to give up and almost did. I thought maybe walking around would help us but her shoe situation was just awful (girls seem to understand this). It was turning into the worst New Years ever. THEN, we walked down some stairs and this place, The Rabbit Box, was there. As we approached, a nice middle aged host greeted us with this big smile and friendly voice, welcoming us in and changing our mood right away. We told him our brief story of our terrible night and situation and he gave us a menu and guided us to a seat near a DJ that was playing classic rock and soothing jazz etc. It was 10 pm. We had a few drinks and the frowns turned to smiles and smiles turned to laughs and romantic kisses. The woman bartender was so nice and everyone was happy there. It was the hosts smile and welcoming words that changed everything for us. I was determined to turn the night around for us. Don't give up right? New years count down occurred and when it was officially 2024, I got down on one knee and asked my gf to marry me. The worst night turned into the best day ever in a snap. She cried and said YES!. (And I had the ring in my pocket the entire time thinking wherever we ended up I would just be spontaneous and pop the question). It was a great new start to a new year. THANK YOU TO THE HOST FOR GIVING US THAT BIG SMILE AND WELCOMING WORDS! We will never forget that wonderful perfectly timed gesture. The drinks were good and generously strong and well mixed. Lady bartender, thank you so much! We will be back someday to relive it all over again.

We went there on a Sunday for the Sunday drag brunch, and had a great time! The show itself was entertaining, funny and engaging, and it was just a ball to have that experience. the staff overall from the bartenders to the servers to the performers to the hosts and hostesses were just outstanding, and so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back next time we're in town and would encourage anyone who is able to please support this business, and the folks that provide such an awesome atmosphere of inclusivity and absolute fun.

Waited for drinks for entirety too long. Other tables were getting second drinks and no one took our drink order. We tried ordering from the bar and the bartender wouldn't take our order. We were told to order from the server. Absolutely ridiculous! The server took one order at a time and stood around the bar talking. At least get the other drinks while the bartender makes them. The show looked fun and had good energy. I would have stayed and drank but...

Friendly service, BEAUTIFUL ambiance, and exceptional items. I honestly would go single night and throw money at them. However, while I appreciate they host music events nearly every night, I don't want to pay $15-20 just to come in. I get they have to pay for performers and it's a good draw, I just wish it was a place I could enjoy a meal and drink without paying to see a performance every single night and pay for that cover. This place would easily be somewhere I would frequent and bring friends every night, but I'm dissuaded by the frequency of performances. I often walk past it notice there is a show, see $20, then move on. But good for them for hosting performers. I want to be a regular but $20 3 or 4x a week adds up. If it wasn't $20 cover (it's not the Showbox after all), I'd go nightly. But I highly recommend it if you're searching for a small venue to see music and sit at a table. Despite my critique, I hope they thrive.

I liked the ambiance when I went to the Rabbit Box for a show. Unfortunately, service was subpar. It was slow, which is not always something that can be controlled -- they looked like they were understaffed. More importantly, their card reader system wasn't working. When I purchased a drink, their machine refused to read my credit card (the same card I used to get into the venue). The bartender swiped it like 5 times -- I handed him a new card and that one worked. When I asked for a receipt, he brushed me off and said "it won't give me one." I was under the impression that businesses were required to produce those, but may be wrong there. Lo and behold, BOTH cards were charged for the single drink. I brought this up when I saw the charges like 20 minutes later. He immediately offered me another drink, which is potentially an okay remedy, but I did not want another drink -- I wanted a refund. He couldn't provide one. Noticed a lot of folks ran into similar issues that evening. Lot of kinks to work out and probably won't be back until service is a bit improved, which in my opinion should include improving the payment systems.
