The Rabbit Hole Bakery has consistently given me great results each time I’ve asked them to an order for my child’s birthday. I was absolutely thrilled by the cake they made for me recently for a 3rd birthday just wanted to say thank you so much. The cake was beautiful and packaged well in order to hold its shape as well as decorations. My guests mentioned the cake tasted just as GOOD as it looked! The staff was accommodating and responded quickly to my last minute inquires and I have had a great consistent experience with them. Thank you so much for all that you do ! - Rose A

Great place to stop by for some sweets! They have a good selection of desserts on top of serving coffee and tea. They also have a large and spacious lounge area with plenty of tables and couches as well. Ordered a carrot cake and it was amazing!! Everyone loved it!

Based on how many good reviews this place had, my experience was surprisingly underwhelming. The avocado brownie tasted just alright, but the slice was a little small for being almost $5. The Alice coffee I ordered was so bad I had to toss my entire 16 oz cup after drinking a few sips of it. It tasted like weak microwaved coffee with a splash of cake batter syrup. I loved the vibe of this place, but was left extremely disappointed by the poor quality of the food and drink I had. 🫠

We couldn’t have been happier with the beautiful wedding cake for our daughter's wedding from Rabbit Hole Bakery! It was not only stunning but also absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much they loved it. The team at Rabbit Hole Bakery went above and beyond by delivering and setting up the cake, ensuring everything was perfect for our special day. We also had them make cake pops, chocolate chip cookies and cream puffs for our daughter's bridal shower. They were the perfect complement to the charcuterie board selection we had. We highly recommend them for any event!

Love love love this place! It’s one of my favorite bakeries. My friends got me a cake shaped as a book for my birthday and it was so beautiful I didn’t want to eat it, but when I finally did it was amazing. I’m also in love with their black and white tarts. 10/10 recommend

The lower level location, cozy/moody vibes, an Alice theme that was endearing but not cheesy or over the top in any way - all won me over immediately. The space itself and the bathrooms were clean. The pricing is a little high but is generally in line with other bakeries in the area. My favorite item was the Lemon Tart - the lightly toasted meringue, the creamy lemon filling, and the crisp tart shell made for a delicious combination. The French Macaron shells were strange - wrinkly and cracked - but the lemon flavor was nice. The Vanilla Cream Puff was a bit overwhelming and difficult to eat. The puff itself was tasty but the cream filling as not as sweet or as vanilla flavored as I expected. The Tiramisu Tart was just alright - the coffee filling overpowered all other layers. My least favorite was the Confetti Cake Trifle. The frosting was good but the cake was extremely mushy - almost as if the cake was soaked in something before being assembled into the trifle cup.

If you order decorated sugar cookies prepare to be underwhelmed. For $60/dozen I expected a better tasting cookie and exceptional decoration, the sugar cookie itself was over baked, decor was not great! I will not be purchasing this type of cookie from Rabbit Hole again. I did enjoy the avocado brownie, that was well done.

Nice place! Was bit confusing to find (I'm not from here) it's on a lower level below the street however we managed to get in. Took the kids for a hot chocolate (which btw was pretty damn good for hot chocolate) to warm up and walk around Lincoln. Their pastries looked great too regret not getting something sweet before leaving. Lots of space and seats in here for a relaxing time. The young lady that helped us was friendly and pretty quick at slinging out 4 hot chocolates for us! I would recommend this place!

We popped in for a quick breakfast and were a little late to the party. There were just a few cinnamon rolls left on a Saturday morning, and I understand why you'd wake up early for them. So fluffy and rich! The espresso drink menu was extensive (and they have cocktails). We just grabbed our rolls and enjoyed them on the patio. The inside is very cute and decorated with an Alice in Wonderland vibe.

I stopped by here within an hour of them closing, so options were limited as to be expected. I snagged a couple of cinnamon rolls for my boys, and was really tempted to grab a few of their macaroons. The girl working that night was very sweet and took care of my checkout very quickly. This bakery is very quaint and decorated cutely inside. I definitely want to come back and try some of their carrot cake because it looked amazing!

A delightful little tea shop/bakery With Alice in Wonderland theme. The coffee, tea, mimosa and cake were out of this world delicious. Will definitely be back to sample other goodies there!

Tiramisu was good, blond brownie was harder than a rock. Why would you serve a dry, hard brownie?

The Rabbit Hole Bakery (awesome name too), is a very cool spot in the Haymarket section of Lincoln. The Rabbit has amazing cake by the slice, cheesecake, cookies, and other sweet treats, plus excellent coffee and tea. Also, the Rabbit offers solid wine, beer, and cocktails. The Rabbit staff is always friendly and helpful, the space is well laid out and comfortable to relax while enjoying a drink or treat. The Rabbit also is great for helping arrange take out orders for special events. Give the Rabbit Hole a try when in the area!

Delightful, cheery locally-owned bakery filled with hand baked delights. Alice in Wonderland theme. I love to bring friends here who are in town visiting. A favorite of mine is the Avocado Brownie but everything is delicious. My daughter enjoys all of the French Macaron flavors. Cheesecake, cake, brownies, cookies, tarts and bars...there is something for every sweet tooth. The coffee menu is really good and you can find lavender syrup, which is one of my favorites and not available everywhere. There is a also a bar if you prefer a cocktail with your treats! Service is always friendly and you will leave happy.

Cutest bakery in Haymarket! The cashier was super friendly and encouraged me to look through photos of the pastry chef's creations. And the creamepuffs...TO DIE FOR!!! So rich, but not too sweet.

Very cute and cozy cafe. The location is central but the entrance was a bit hard to find. Took advantage of the day-old pastry sale to get the lavender scone.

The food may be ok and the service adequate, but the ambiance is ruined by the owner's attitudes toward women and the LGBTQ community.

Located in a lower level it can be easily missed. Extensive variety of items make it truly hard deciding what to order. Cinnamon rolls are to die for, soft, moist and perfect moisture. I also tried bread pudding which was overly sweet to my taste :( it was with bourbon caramel which is delicious. Strawberry cream puffs was the winner. Irresistible, a single bite ate it. Soft bread and perfect delicious creamy cream. Tarts looked amazing unfortunately did not try. I can not wait to come back and try other pastries and lavender coffee!

I ordered a gluten-free kids birthday cake 2 weeks in advance. One week in advance, the bakery charged my card ($80). When we arrived to pick up the cake as scheduled, the bakery said they forgot to make it. The bakery did not offer anything to fix their mistake (make it late, arrange slices, etc., they did however offer to sell us a single slice). I had to cancel birthday plans to call and drive around to find another bakery to help us out. Thank goodness for other bakeries that were compassionate about a medically fragile child being disappointed for not having a cake he'd been looking forward to. I do not recommend The Rabbit Hole for any special occasion or event.

This is the cutest bakery in the Haymarket district. Loved the wonderful aromas that greeted me when I walked in. I really just wanted a drink (got a Bombay Chai - subtle Chai flavor; really lovely), but ended up with a mint chocolate brownie and an avocado brownie (gluten-free; sounded interesting so wanted to give it a try). Love the decor and coziness of the place and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Stopped in on a road trip. Interesting aesthetic inside drew us in. Staff were nice and seemed like very hard working young people. Unfortunately, the tiramisu and everything else we tried tasted like hatred and bigotry. I Do not recommend.

When we stepped inside one of the employees began staring at my daughter. When I tried to catch his attention he told me that the governor does not support her and told us we needed to leave immediately.

What a neat little spot in Lincoln. Located downstairs was this quaint little shop filled with books and yummy desserts. I had the carrot cake and it was moist and delicious, my wife had the cheesecake and was equally impressed. The lady at the counter was really nice and helpful. I'd come here again when in Lincoln.

Went with a friend, got the Cinnamon Roll and White lavender scone. Super delicious asked to have them warmed up. Melted in your mouth super smooth and fresh taste. Lavender coffee was absolutely delicious and so was the Chai tea. Will come again!!!

Tremendous baked goods, delicious coffee, and the atmosphere is terrific; love the cozy, Alice in Wonderland decor!

We stopped by in a Friday evening for drinks. I know, drinks in a bakery? But surprisingly they have some really good adult drinks. We had the equivalency of a Manhattan. Just the right amount of bitters vs alcohol. We didn't try any baked goods. We will save that for our next trip. If you find all the regular drink stops full, don't forget to stop here. Well worth it. It gets five stars instead of four because they use really Luxardo cherries in their drinks and our water glasses were kept full.

Wow, probably the best cinnamon roll I've ever had in my life. And I am a cinnamon connoisseur. Absolutely melt in your mouth, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with just the right amount of icing. And the ladies who work there are fabulous and fun. I'm a fan!

Solid bakery with fresh desserts, reasonably priced and good service. We had several items; my favorite being the cream puffs. Would definitely like to go back and try some more items.

I stopped here while passing through Lincoln. This is such a cute gem of a coffee shop! I love that it has the Alice in Wonderland theme and they incorporate it so well. It's a relaxing place to be and it's definitely a place you could bring a book and spend a couple hours drinking coffee and reading (and eating some of their delicious scones).

I have never seen such a beautiful cake in my life. Amanda is truly an artist. The delicious birthday cake she made for my granddaughter was a big hit. I will definitely be trusting the Rabbit Hole Bakery with my future celebrations.

Great selection, nice folks, and good prices for yummy desserts! They even have a punch card that I am VERY excited to keep punching!

They were so accommodating and easy to work with regarding my birthday cake. I ordered a lemon cake with raspberry mousse filling and buttercream frosting. I didn't know a cake could be so rich and decadent and light and fluffy at the same time. So delicious. I can't recommend the the Rabbit Hole enough!

Cute little bakery the indoors was nice. Only ordered the avocado brownie. Outdoor seating could be a little nicer.

My mother and I went here to grab a quick drink. I had the masala chai and she had a cup of coffee. They gave us the whole tea pot so I would be able to refill my cup whenever I pleased! Very friendly service and nice prices! I definitely will be visiting when I come to Lincoln again. :)

Going down the rabbit hole is an absolute must if you live and/or visit Lincoln. You literally walk downstairs into a place with a wonderfully executed Alice in Wonderland theme. They have also created a new concept of pairing cocktails with desserts, which is brilliant. I am a dedicated customer who goes at least once a week to have my favorite treat: the white chocolate brownie. I have never tasted a blondie brownie that is so moist and fresh. They have many other desserts. I highly recommend the white brownie (of course), lemon cake, apple spice cake, and the avocado brownie. These desserts NEVER disappoint. They also have loose leaf teas and coffee which makes it a nice and quiet place to study at with plenty of outlets and seating (which is always a plus). Lastly, the service is very personal and always wonderful. They take great care of their customers!

Intrigued by the name we had to check out The Rabbit Hole Bakery and we were so glad we did. We got the strawberry rhubarb muffin, the glazed cinnamon roll and a s'more coffee. The rhubarb strawberry muffin was light with just enough sweet. The cinnamon roll hit the spot. The s'more coffee was excellent as well. Lots of yummy treats to choose from. When we roll through Lincoln, we will for sure be back.

Fist time here and we really enjoyed the chocolate + peanut butter cake and strawberry cream puff!

This review is going to cover three issues. First, the listing includes gluten-free and then goes on about cake, but there is no gluten-free cake. There are macarons and that's about it. They're very nice macarons and if the review were just about that, it would be a three. Second, the space is not ADA-compliant. If you can't take stairs, you can't come in here. The ADA passed in 1990, which was 27 years ago at the time I am writing this review. There is no excuse for continuing to shut people with mobility disabilities out of public spaces. Third and most upsetting, I was chatting with the gentleman on staff while waiting for my tea to steep and it went from being quite pleasant to him making a racist remark about a nearby small town's immigrant population. I had already paid at this point or I would have left, but because of this I will not be coming back.

Love this place. Love the vibe! Love the staff! Food and coffee is amazing! You will not be disappointed!! Make sure you get some lavender coffee! If visiting Lincoln this is a must stop!

This was my first visit. I tried my first real macaroon and it was delicious! I also had an apple scone. Very yummy! I will definitely return!

So we came down to the Haymarket/Railyard for a show which turns out was not going on today! Since we were already down here we decided to find a place for some coffee! As we like to try new places, The Rabbit Hole was the perfect place to check out! This place is perfectly hidden and tucked away as the name suggests! You come down the stairs to an open room with numerous clocks on he wall and a mural of Alice ready her book while leaned against the tree compliments of Marissa's Fuchser. Toward the back end there's a nice comfy seating area with glass chess board and a long book shelf of books and Alice themed decor! We were greeted by Emily, who was excited to see us and welcomed us the the Rabbit Hole. As newbies do, we asked a lot of questions about options and recommendations! I, in particular was very indecisive on the the drink menu and Emily and Ben were very helpful in helping me pick a great beverage! Was disappointed that my first choice was out but Ben made a great suggestion and immediately went to work on making a Hot Toddy! My girlfriend was very interested in the avocado brownie and Emily and Ben explained how it was made. Amanda Fuchser has discovered a genius way of making gluten free brownies! I recommend you try this! As they are as delicious as a traditional brownie! This is perfect for libations wether you are interested in alcohol, coffee or herbal tea. One request would be to add a Sake option! I definitely see is coming back here again especially because Emily and Ben made us feel welcomed with great attitudes!

Very nice little place to stop in for some coffee, tea and a treat. They have gluten free avocado brownies that are very nice and fudgey. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love this place. Would recommend to anyone, especially if they love Disney! (Since it's Alice in Wonderland themed after all.) My favorite sweet treat from here would be the black and white tart! And my dad loves the lemon meringue tarts! The Staff here is so wonderful! They are kind and engage in conversation. The very first time I went there I was with my best friend. We decided to use the elevator. It went down fine but on the wait up it stopped working. The staff member Amanda who was working at the time saw that we were in a bind and felt horrible. So she compensated our inconvenience with a $10 gift certificate off our next purchase (1 for each of us) she was so nice about it and this is literally my favorite bakery in Lincoln :)

I declare myself a Dessert Person down. So my husband and I decided to go on the search for something sweet and this place did not disappoint. I decided to be healthy and go for the Carrot cake since you know Carrots are healthy lol!!! This cake was moist and had great texture. Not dry at all and the cream cheese frosting was just right not too sweet like most frostings are. My main squeeze had the vanilla gluten free cake and after trying to explain what gluten free was I told him to shut up and eat the cake !!! He loved it !!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful which adds even more to this review. The atmosphere is cute and chill very cute for after dinner or meet up coffee date to gossip lol. Will definitely come back when I return to Nebraska this California girl Approves

Cool name for it's really in the base of the building and makes you feel like you run into the rabbit hole! Both the puff and macaroni are delicious! The Mumm Brut Champagne is still one of my favorite brand; only $8 for a glass. If you like a quiet place for some tea or coffee or a drink, this is the place! Btw, the young gentleman, i.e., the waiter who helped us was very nice and friendly!

We stopped here after dinner to pick up a little treat to take back to the room. What a surprise they are a bakery with coffee and Bourbon! Who knew?! We skipped the drinks and went straight for the baked items. Macarons to die for, tiny little Lemon Meringue tarts, Walnut tarts, Carrot Cake, Scones, Coffee Cake. The choices all looked amazing. In the end, we opted for an apricot macaron, walnut tart, lemon ginger scone and raspberry coffee cake. All were amazing except the coffee cake. Neither of us liked it, but then again, we weren't having it with coffee and I know that can make a difference. We'll be going back before we leave Lincoln.

Pastries and desserts are ridiculously good. But did you know they have cocktails, beer and wine? I bet you didn't. But now you do. We came in because the woman across the street at the gift shop said her son works here. It was just as adorable as she said!

Excellent choices here for cakes, cheesecake, brownies and cookies. Cool shop here in basement area. All very good here today.
