After living here for a year, I want to share my experience.
The building was built last year, and we were the first residents to move in. The staff were friendly in person, but they never replied to emails — not once in the entire year, even when I specifically asked for a response. I understood they were a new apartment when I moved in, so some management messiness was expected, but it never improved.
Before moving in, we were told the large room across from the gym would be turned into a coffee spot for residents. That never happened. Instead, they put posters on the glass to make it look like a restaurant was “coming soon.” In reality, it stayed untouched for a full year, except during media visits or move-in days for new residents, when they pretended work was happening.
At move-out, they were extremely picky about cleanliness. We cleaned as best as a non-professional could (see pictures), but when I asked the inspector, “Aren’t you going to clean it again before the next resident?” I was told they would only “dust off.” So, new residents — your apartment’s cleanliness depends heavily on how well the previous tenant cleaned.
In addition, one bedroom in the 2b2b layout is a bit strange if you see it in person. One bedroom has a sliding door leading to the restroom directly from the living room. There is no way to lock the sliding door or the bedroom attached to it, and with the soundproofing already being poor, this setup leaves you with essentially no privacy. If you are two unrelated roommates, you’ll need to decide in advance who takes that bedroom.
They do offer valet trash removal, which is nice in theory, but they will find any excuse not to take it — bag not tied tightly enough, bag placed on the ground, cardboard not broken down enough, bag “too heavy,” etc.
Some positives: the mail area was mostly organized and easy to navigate, and they had plenty of carts available for residents to use. They have plenty of study rooms and entertainments.
Overall, this place has potential, but the lack of follow-through, poor communication, and unfinished promises made it a frustrating place to live.
