"Looking for somewhere with a strong Texas vibe? Try the Ranch at Las Colinas in the northern ‘burbs. The interiors evoke that Yellowstone vibe, while the large enclosed porch gives diners a spot in the AC that lets them feel like they’re outdoors. Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, this joint is packed at all times, and the menu has a whole lot of everything. Don’t miss the Gulf Coast ceviche, chicken fried steak, or its signature dish, the  double cut pork chop." - Courtney E. Smith

Wow. Just wow! Hands down the best Mexican and American food I’ve had in years — no exaggeration. I can confidently say it’s the best Mexican food in the Dallas area. We went for lunch and ordered several dishes from the menu. Everything was perfect — fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The quality and taste here surpass any other restaurant in Dallas. Highlights from our meal: • Low & Slow Chicken over Rice – My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. • Margarita Flatbread – So tasty and scrumptious! The portion size is huge — definitely sharable. • Whiskey Bread Pudding – Rich, moist, not overly sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth good. • Onion Rings – Crispy, golden, and a must-try. If you’re in the area and love great food, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

My family and I recently had brunch here and it was a great experience. It had a rustic but modern feel to it. The staff was very accommodating for our large party (20). There were so many different food options to choose from setup in different rooms served buffet styles. They definitely had something for everyone palette even the smaller kids. I will definitely visit again soon.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone. The food was absolutely exquisite each bite was a burst of rich, mouthwatering flavors that left me wanting more. It genuinely felt like a flavor explosion in the best possible way. The service was just as impressive; the waitresses were extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. I can’t wait to return to this place is a true gem!

We had a fantastic lunch at The Ranch! It was the perfect halfway point to meet a friend. The Texas decor, open fire ovens, and fireplaces created a great ambiance. I tried the Thursday special, a Prime Rib Sandwich with Tallow fries, it was a huge portion I was unable to finish. My wife raved about her spicy tortilla soup (and she's picky about soup!), while our friend enjoyed the prime rib sandwich too. We all shared the bread pudding for dessert which stole the show the perfect ending to the meal. Comfortable seating, great service, and good value. Definitely a keeper.

Google
Not as great on our recent visit as they have been in the past. The fries were cold. I asked for my salad dressing on the side and didn't get that. The burger was tasty and the salad was very good, but I'm so used to this place having top notch food. It's disappointing when something you count on lets you down. The staff was friendly and helpful as always. It's a wonderful place with such a fun vibe. We hope this was a one off.

Google
The Ranch is a unique Texas experience you’ll want to bring your out of towner friends to. This place is extremely popular so you’ll want to get reservations. It’s near impossible to find a table for more than 4 even during the weekdays without an extended wait. The food is great and they serve some really tasty cuts of steak and pork chops! They’re really tender and juicy and there’s so much flavor in every bite.

✨The VIP Experience – A Family Lunch to Remember✨ This was our first time dining at The Ranch, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like we were stepping into something special. We came for a celebratory lunch with our two sons, ages 5 and 7, and let me tell you—they were treated like little kings. And then came Temeka—our amazing server and the absolute soul of this experience. Her grace, warmth, and attentiveness turned our lunch into a full-on celebration. She didn’t just take care of us—she saw us. Her energy was the cherry on top of an unforgettable afternoon. Now, let’s talk food and drinks because wow. We kicked things off with the Branding Iron Onion Rings, and I’m not exaggerating when I say they were a 10/10—crispy perfection stacked like a golden tower of joy. For entrées, the Wagyu Chicken Fried Steak was everything Texas cuisine should be—rich, tender, comforting, and completely crave-worthy. The filet? So tender it practically whispered sweet nothings as it melted in our mouths. Our boys happily devoured their meals and the fact that they were treated with such care made the entire lunch even more meaningful. And yes—we sipped and savored. The Guava Jalapeño Margarita was the perfect mix of heat and sweet, like a little tropical vacation with a Texas twist. And the El Vaquero Old Fashioned? Smooth, bold, and beautifully balanced. A proper slow sip that made us feel like we had nowhere to be but right there, enjoying life. The ambiance was inviting and laid-back, perfect for a family outing but still polished enough to feel like a treat. Every moment—from appetizer to goodbye—was wrapped in intention, heart, and good ol’ Texas hospitality. We didn’t just have lunch. We made a memory. Thank you, Temeka and The Ranch team, for making us feel like VIPs. We’ll be back—with hearts (and bellies) wide open.

This was a fantastic experience. Exceptional service, delicious food and cocktails and a classy, Texas atmosphere. Our family of five was welcomed warmly and counseled well by Kaylee (sp?) and Jason. Kaylee guided us to the Caramel Rye Old-Fashioned, the Garlic-studded steak, chicken-fried steak and pecan pie. We also tried the Chef’s Favorite 4, the Elk Tacos and the Pork Belly Bites. Everything was tasty and well-prepared. We will be back!

Yelp
Overall: 9/10 Food: 9/10 Cocktails: 10/10 Service: 9/10 Value: 4/10 Been here a few times and they've always taken good care of us on all fronts. The food is delicious and the craft cocktails are amazing. The value is where this place takes a hit because you'll be cared for but it will cost you.

Yelp
Pros: - Service was outstanding! The waitress was super polite, had great recommendations, and was very understanding of having the kids meal out first. - Great menu of food items that includes a kids friendly menu. Brunch options throughout the day. I had the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. Not to mention a selection cocktails. Would recommend the Elk tacos too! - Very roomy and not too loud of a place. Great for big parties and special occasions Cons: - Could be a bit out of the way since its in a strip mall in Dallas. Not too far from DFW airport so might be a good stop by before/after Overall - Was a very solid experience and would highly recommend others to try

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly and attentive servers. I would recommend replacing or retraining the unpleasant young and dismissive female hostesses though. Unfortunately the only time I patron here and received a warm welcome was when those young ladies were not on duty. It was a really tall guy and another female that was quite nice and professional. I just ignore their behavior because the food is so wonderful and the rest of the staff makes up for the poor welcome. Too bad they're the first people to greet everyone.

Yelp
This place has a very very similar menu to haywire. Not sure if it's the same owner or group, but very similar items. The vibe is western. The staff forgot a couple of our items, but they did get those corrected fairly quick. The food is good. I didn't have a steak, as a went for lunch. But I wish I had. If I ever go back, I'll get a steak. I'm sure they are good!

Yelp
My friend and I recently visited The Ranch at Las Colinas for a weekday happy hour and had a delightful experience. We were able to get a table, but I definitely recommend making a reservation to ensure seating. I ordered the Bourbon Smash, which was amazing--the bourbon had a subtle flavor that blended well with the mix. The tacos were delicious, served warm with perfectly cooked meat, and everything was freshly made in-house. The highlight of our meal was the whiskey bread pudding for dessert. It was huge, but we managed to finish it all. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I look forward to returning.

Crystal D.

Yelp
The service here is excellent and so are the vibes inside. It's very cozy and rustic. Our server was extremely attentive which is always appreciated. The onion rings were bangin and the steaks cooked to perfection. They offer different butters along with the steak which is a nice touch and adds so much variety. The tallow fries were also delicious! The espresso martini was eh, definitely coming here for the food over the drinks.

Vero M.

Yelp
The place is nice, host and servers very attentive. The food was great! The drinks are yum! The place has music both live and radio. Desert Good!

Yelp
What an amazing place this is! We were here for their Christmas holiday brunch buffet. The food was all so good and the service was even better From the huge peel & eat shrimp, the flat bread, breakfast items, pastries, salads...the list goes on and on. They also had Santa there which was so sweet and friendly. We've decided that we'll make this an annual tradition! Thanks so much to The Ranch for another wonderful brunch!!

Lizzie G.

Yelp
Went here recently and had a great seat on the patio. This restaurant has ample heaters available to keep you comfortable wherever you sit! The service was wonderful and we had great recommendations for our meals. I got the chicken fried steak which was fantastic but a little over-salted for my preference and the potatoes were amazing!

Channa T.

Yelp
This place STILL is a hit!!! The service food ambiance . Absolutely love this place, slightly pricey but the food is fresh and doesn't leave you feeling gross.

Natalie J.

Yelp
Had a great time eating here with coworkers. The food as fresh and the portions were very large. The fish had small bones, but nothing I couldn't handle. The chocolate cake and pecan pie were delicious. I would probably pick the pecan pie next time. Waiter was attentive, the bar was opening up with live music when we were walking out.

Edward D.

Yelp
I was in town for business. And a coworker had mentioned The Ranch more than a few times. So our last evening there we ended up visiting this place. I had a couple of beers, and I ordered their burger. It was very good, we all had a great time. The atmosphere was good, and the service was amazing.

La Juania M.

Yelp
Came here in a Thursday night ... and it was packed.. plus they have live music. We greeted when we walked in and was sat moments later. The this is all Texas theme.. down to what the servers outfits. So on theme. The food was good .. good flavor and build from the app to the dessert. We got the ceviche which was different with the mandarins... good touch. Then the chicken fried steak and chicken. I was expecting more spicy from the gravy. On the other hand the bread pudding was the best I have ever had!! Made from croissants!! Where has this been all my life!!

Tanya S.

Yelp
Love decor of restaurant and roomy ness. Then our waitress- Nashua was so warm and friendly and brought the whole experience to next level. Food was awesome and so was service. And reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this to everyone. Well done The Ranch.

Shafia A.

Yelp
What a gem of a place! The ambiance is pure Texas, with staff sporting cowboy hats that add a charming touch. Our server, Alexis, was exceptional--sweet, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. The food is clearly made fresh with locally sourced ingredients, and everything we tried was delicious. When my steak arrived a bit more rare than my medium-well request, they promptly took it back to cook more and even returned it with a complimentary side, which was a lovely surprise. The attention to customer satisfaction and team coordination was impressive. Additionally, the live music on the other side of the restaurant added a great touch. If you're looking for a spot that screams 'Texas,' this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

Yelp
What a fantastic hidden Gem for the DFW area. Been going here for several years and have never been let down. The atmosphere is charming, relaxing and cozy, not too noisy and easy to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. The staff is friendly, provide attention to details and provide excellent, fast friendly service. I've had multiple dishes here and just about every appetizer they offer! The onion rings are some of the best around! Great drinks too! Whatever you order here is done right. It's the reason we continue to come back time after time!

Yelp
Hi Yelpers. Hope your life is golden like a retriever. Mine? Solid. Can't complain at all. Was up for a burger, but I am too old for Mickey D's. I love great burgers, not fast food. Was in Las Colinas, pulled up trusty Yelp App. You folks rarely ever lead me astray. You post up places and spaces seen and unseen. Hidden gems, and shiny diamonds. Enter The Ranch. It was a weekday afternoon, so others are at work, and the place was not that busy. Oh yes, my groove. Means they have more time to really put it all together, to show off. Welp, they did, and then some. Call me picky, but for me, a fountain drink out is a rarity, because they never get the mix right, plus, I love water with lemon. This time I decided to go for a Dr. Pepper. Gee uh EEzuss. Nailed it. This was as if Dr. Pepper himself was mixing up a fresh batch. This was old school bottle tasting DP. Amazing aspect to the meal. We sat outside in the breeze at a cozy table.. The terf was clean, the table spotless. The server was friendly, informative, upbeat, and on top of her game. Made some great suggestions. All in all, for my money, this was an awesome experience on a sunny Texas afternoon. One of those birds chirping moments we look for in our hectic schedules. Hope you find more of these moments in your life, birds chirping, sun shining on your smiling face, and a great burger dripping juice on your lap. Take care that you do, and if you do, let us in on it. Share it with us here so we too can capture a moment. Be well... Peace and burger grease.

Yelp
Excellent service - immediately corrected an error on our food when delivered wrong without even asking - handled!! Also, ambiance was so fun - festive for holidays - very nice and our first visit but not our last. Enjoyed Saturday brunch with starter of kolaches with jalapeno sausage and one of the best white queso dips we've ever had - wonderful creamy. Also, enjoyed chicken biscuit with a side of mac n' cheese very good and they let you trade out the salad side to another choice easily. Another delish dish was the pastrami hash - most times, do not enjoy 'chunky potatoes but these were well seasoned and cooked perfectly' - very nice dish. We want to return soon to try other options on the menu and love the diverse dishes offered. Server came by with fresh to go glasses of tea for us - so nice along with a box for leftovers as the plates were large.

Joel W.

Yelp
Definitely will want to call ahead or plan to wait even for 1 it was 1.5 hrs if I wanted a table. Bar was open and sat there. 10oz filet with garlic butter and charred asparagus for a side was absolutely delicious and Perfectly cooked. For dessert it was the pecan pie or whiskey cake and I went with pecan pie as the crust is a cinnamon roll. Only small recommendation is to let people know it is cold and optional if you want it served warm. Even cold was great and if your diabetic bring your insulin!!! Drinks were great loved the sweet tea. Barrett was behind the bar that night and a great bartender, Along with all the staff behind the bar they were really hustling!!!

Carolina E.

Yelp
Our server was Luis and he was excellent! He came back for regular refills, he was friendly, he even asked us if we want to go drinks at the end (which nobody does anymore) we said no but really appreciated the ask! We had the crab dip which is always incredible and a huge reason why we continue to come back. It has lump crab, mushrooms. Deliciousness. We ordered the cowboys feast which sounds like a LOT of food but it was the perfect amount for 3 of us! As sides we had the chimichurri rice, macaroni and cheese, asparagus, and loaded mashed potatoes. There were some sauces to accompany the meats (chimichurri, some sauce with a nice spice and I did not try the third one.) We ended the meal with the pecan pie. Deliciousness! 10/10 recommend. This is a wonderful spot for a birthday dinner, nice family meal, etc.

Yelp
What a wonderful Sunday afternoon we spent at The Ranch recently! We were in the Las Colinas area looking for my wife's new office location and decided to have a relaxing "late lunch/early dinner" visit to The Ranch. It was a beautiful afternoon. We really wanted to sit outside but with my wheelchair it looked like it might have some challenges. We were seated in the outside area off the main dining room. Very nice and airy with all sorts of cool stuff to look at. Our server was so personable and eager to please. She took such great care of us during our visit. I had her name but lost the receipt I had it on. Bummer, but she was wonderful. We started our dining experience with an order of fried green tomatoes. They were quite good. For our entrees, my wife decided on the chicken fried steak, and I opted for grilled Texas Redfish. After a short wait, with a lot of wonderful conversation, our beautifully presented entrees were delivered to our table. The entrees were plated very skillfully. My wife's chicken fried steak was accompanied with rich creamy mashed potatoes and garlic sauteed green beans. My grilled Texas Redfish platted was accompanied with a flavorful citrus dressing and a cilantro lime rice. Both our entrees were so delicious. My wife loved her chicken fried steak and the sides. The mashed potatoes were decadently rich and creamy, and the green beans were sauteed to perfection. My Texas Redfish was grilled to perfection. The salad and cilantro lime rice were the perfect accompaniment to the grilled redfish. The portions were just the right size where we didn't feel too stuffed. We shouldn't have done it, but we did, we ordered a dessert to share. After looking at the menu, we both decided on the Whiskey Bread Pudding on the recommendation of our server. I was made from buttery croissants and topped with The Ranch's signature whiskey blend custard and whiskey anglaise. Totally decadence and we enjoyed each and every bite till there was nothing left in the cast iron serving dish. Thank you to The Ranch for an enjoyably relaxing Sunday afternoon dining experience. We'll be back to see you real soon.

Yelp
This place is so amazing and very Texas! It was decorated so beautiful for Christmas. Everyone is so friendly. We went for brunch right when it opened at 11. We got the mini elk tacos to start, sooo good. Then we got the Wagyu Pastrami Hash and Crabcake Benedict. The hash was mouth watering..... sooooo flavorful! Must try! Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Wish we could stay longer to try their dinner menu and desserts.

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant and it was quite the experience! Beautiful interior, great food, friendly staff. Ambiance: All different kinds of lighting from dim lighting to natural sunlight. All kinds of seating from inside (table chairs, high tops, booths) to outside tables and chairs. There is a louder noise level coming from guests, to live music, to soft music playing on speakers. Service: The server was super friendly and very accommodating. She constantly checked up on us and ensured that our dining experience went well which I really appreciated. Onion ring (appetizer): It looks aesthetically pleasing and tastes super good too! There were thick cut onion rings stacked up on top of each other. It was nice and crispy but the batter itself wasn't too special. The chipotle ranch was a classic and the ketchup had a little kick flavor to it too! Chicken fried chicken: The chicken wasn't really crispy but it was very juicy inside. It had really good flavor but the gravy didn't have as much flavor to it. The mashed potatoes it came with were just incredible. Lots of whipped butter and salt which just makes everything taste better. The green beans were seasoned perfectly and also very yummy but a tiny portion. Bread pudding: This dessert was so tasty but Id say the bread pudding itself was a little more on the chewy side. But it had such a good flavor to it. The bread pudding was super rich in flavor so great for people with a sweet tooth!

Jonathan T.

Yelp
The ranch was a really nice spacious area with a beautiful patio bar area. If you have a big group make sure to have reservations very early in the day. The food and drinks were great and nicely presented. The old fashioneds have laser printed ice cubes. Service was quick and attentive. But also felt very upchargey with all the questions from our server that had additional costs to them.

Joshua P.

Yelp
overall, it's pretty good. They pride themselves and being a Steakhouse, but everything is fairly mid. he was super busy, which I understand... But everything was just kind of middle of the road. with it being so busy, it was extremely loud, which made it really difficult to have conversation. However, they had some incredible ceviche...

Yarn Y.

Yelp
A really nice place - very popular and very crowded. Just with great atmosphere . Don't forget to get an old fashioned - their specialty drink , and they have many styles you can get it (Smokey etc) Went for an early dinner dinner and we started with a dip that was excellent , which included crab mushrooms and came with a nice hot focaccia - 4.2/5 I then proceeded to take the blackened fish which was both a generous portion (3 large fillets ) but also very yummy - it came in with Cajun flavoured corn . Great dinner altogether , I will come back k !

Yelp
So here is what happened to Black Walnut per my review. The ranch is another one that does not accept cash. Again, poor mgt strategy alienating so many customers who no longer patronize the place. My review of the Walnut, which strategy is similar to The Ranch:: "As I posted over 2 years ago, when Black Walnut no longer accepted cash, I knew they would be doomed. I know of 15 past customers that banned going there because they stopped accepting cash. We all know those transactions fees are baked into the pricing, just like at The Ranch in Irving. Obviously, poor, poor mgt strategy to alienate customers and major reason all of them are shutting down in North Texas. Who knows what other poor mgt decisions were made to turn it into a failed business. I said business conditions would change one day and now they had to learn the hard way. " Reasons for paying cash: 1) servers r a revolving door & some steal your credit info, but owners don't care-just give me money; 2) the transaction fees are baked into the price, especially in restaurant businesses of tight margins; 3) we don't want our corrupt gov't spying on what we eat & drink. Lastly, Ranch has nice atmosphere, but many of us refuse to go there due to their payment policies. Like the Walnut, what other bad decisions does mgt make at this eatery?

Alexis P.

Yelp
The atmosphere is always welcoming. Whether you want a chill night with friends or a celebration with family the different rooms can bring any vibe. They have great flatbreads for happy hour as well as delicious steak for a fancy dinner.

Yelp
During a recent work trip to Dallas, TX, we stumbled upon a fantastic restaurant with a charming western ambiance. We ordered the ribs, which were tender and slipped right off the bone, absolutely delicious! The Cadillac burger quickly became my favorite, paired perfectly with a couple of Lone Star beers and old fashions. They had live music playing outside, everyone had cowboy hats on definitely felt as if we were on a ranch. On our return visit before catching our flight, we sat at the bar where Michell took great care of us. This place was a highlight of our trip, and we can't wait to return on our next visit to Dallas.

Yelp
*** DISCLAIMER*** We did not try any steak - will not be rating based on steak quality Started off the night with fried green tomatoes and margaritas. Almost finished the tomatoes before I could snag a picture! Margaritas were good - not the best we have ever had but definitely a 8.5 ~ generous 9. I had the ribs. As a north carolina child, these did not disappoint. Fall off the bone flavor for certain. Mac and cheese was also delicious. 9.5/10. Meghan had the slow cooked chicken. Once again, fall off the bone flavor. She said the actual chicken was good, but it reminded her too much of fajitas. However she noted it was solid as a rock. 8.5/10 Maddie Dabbs had the chicken fried chicken. These people know how to do the gravy right. Dabbs is from the little town of thomasville, and she knows good gravy. She loved it. 9/10. Overall, the food was almost great and the ambiance was great. Dusty Mote was playing guitar in the background, and felt like an old school saloon. 11/10 ambiance. Highly recommended. Ask for Jesus next time you come!

Tamilah K.

Yelp
Boy was this a great find. I typically work from the office on Tuesdays in Irving so I was on the hunt for something tasty. I texted a few friends that frequent the area and they recommended The Ranch. Excellent choice! I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and my coworker ordered the Cadillac Burger with seasoned fries. 5 stars all around - chicken seasoned well and the jalapeño sausage gravy was perfect. Green beans were fresh and delicious. Sort of an upscale western vibe but I could see it for a date night as well. Well lit and anything although it was pretty busy the noise level was great. Our server, Rocco was very attentive and the front desk staff was extremely sweet. Bathrooms were spotless. Spent a little more than I typically do for lunch but the quality and service were spot on. I'll definitely be back.

Dirk C.

Yelp
Exceptional food. *Wedge salad was the best! Exceptional service Exceptional ambiance. Michelle and Richard are awesome professional representatives of The Ranch, as are all the team This is my first stop every time I arrive in Irving / the DFW area

Craig D.

Yelp
Is sort of an iconic place to go. Been going there every few years with my work colleagues. Texas vibe in the urban sprawl of Los Colinas. Expansive space that has both a rustic ranch and leather chair vibe. Multiple bars and live music. It's definitely fun to visit. The food is good with some highlights including a charcuterie with simply amazing local cheeses, very tasty sausages and meats - recommended. I had a rib eye with butter and garlic that was cooked perfectly medium rare with a char. Very tasty for star worthy. Giant carrot cake for desert. The downside was the service. While the server was super friendly and helpful, we didn't see him enough. They lost profit on another round of drinks. Finished appetizer and dinner plates lingered too long. We had to clear appetizer plates out of the way to make for dinner. Just not acceptable for price point.

Vanessa B.

Yelp
Great food , great drinks great service . One of best restaurants we have visited in the Dallas area. Of course we got the tomahawk and it was well worth it. Can't wait to try more things

K P.

Yelp
I went a couple of times the same month. I ordered the Texas redfish last time, which was so tasty, there just was not enough of it. This time I ordered the Redfish hoping it would be a little more, but not so much. I left hungry both times. However, nice atmosphere, servers are great, love the Texas pour.

Heather S.

Yelp
That was the best meal I have had in ages!!! The service was spectacular and the Duck Horn wine! Yum it was so good I totally forgot to take a picture of my food! Highly recommend. I door and outdoor seating. Lovely place!

Cynthia L.

Yelp
First time to the Ranch for dinner and it was delicious, I ordered chicken fried steak it was delicious I ate it all . My husband ordered steak, it was full of flavor. The restaurant has a nice country vibe to it and I definitely recommend this to anyone, it is expensive it so worth it. Recommend for a nice dinner out or family celebration. They have comfy seating

Yelp
Hey there, wave riders! Captain 619 here, just surfed into The Ranch at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. I hung ten with their grilled catfish and shrimp. Dude, I've surfed a lot of seafood waves, but this one was totally gnarly. The catfish was grilled to perfection, as smooth as a glassy barrel, and the shrimp? Spicier than a summer swell. And let's not forget the price. You'd think for such a killer dish, you'd have to shell out some serious clams, right? Wrong, my dudes! The price was as chill as a sea breeze, didn't wipeout my wallet at all. So, if you find yourself cruising around Irving, Texas, do yourself a solid and drop into The Ranch at Las Colinas. Grab the grilled catfish with shrimp and ride that flavor wave all the way to the shore. Captain 619, signing off. Catch you on the West side!

Yelp
This place was pretty cool and I enjoyed a great dinner at the bar. Lee took great care of me and made great suggestions. It's comforting when they ask if it's your first visit or not and then take the time to explain what they're known for. I ordered an old fashioned and Lee suggested a couple different bourbon options which was cool. I really enjoyed the drink and the cool ice cube! I started with the Fried Green Tomatoes and they were delicious. For my dinner, I had the 10oz filet with green beans as my side. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sautéed green beans were great. The portion size was exactly what I wanted and the quality was great for the reasonable price. For dessert, I went with the layered chocolate cake and it was huge. I enjoyed it but couldn't finish the whole thing. It would be a great option to share. Overall, this place is massive with multiple dining rooms and bars. The food quality was fantastic and the service was quick and friendly without being rushed. I'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Great food. The 33 OZ A BAR N WAGYU TOMAHAWK RIBEYE - roasted bone marrow butter / two sides was amazing to the point where I might be the best version I have had restaurant dining. To start the PORK BELLY "BURNT ENDS - Berkshire pork belly / Luxardo cherry BBQ glace / pickled mustard seeds / pickled red onion / pickled fresno peppers were good. The QUESO BLANCO - crisp corn chips / add spicy picadillo for a buck makes for a good starter too. We did dinner family style and though I focused on the tomahawk the CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN - marinated chicken breast / buttermilk chive whipped potatoes / sautéed green beans / jalapeño sausage gravy was actually very good too. Add some private label beer, and it was a great meal in a really nice atmosphere with live entertainment around the corner from where we were sitting. For as busy as it was, the volume was comfortable, and it really felt like we were sitting alone in the place. Yes, it kind of felt like home. The only ding I could give it was that service was really slow. As in really slow. Maybe they were short on people. Maybe it was an off night. Either way, the rest of the experience lived up to the high bar the locals we were with set up the dinner as being.

Yelp
We visited the Ranch for the first time last night and the experience was amazing!! All of the food was incredible! Seasoned perfectly - Including the food from the kids menu!!- Our waiter was on point with everything, attention to detail, not hovering but also there when we need something. Food was out in a timely manner and fresh. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
We love the Brazilian Steak house nearby. But we missed the Ranch so we stopped by. Everyone loves the food. The service was okay. The restaurant is so fun and clean. We love the decor.

Yelp
We recently dined at The Ranch in Las Colinas and had a fantastic experience. The elk tacos were the highlight of the meal--packed with flavor from the corn, onion, and fresh jalapeño. The chicken fried steak was topped with a delicious jalapeño sausage gravy and wasn't greasy at all. I also enjoyed the redfish with zydeco(?) sauce, which added a unique twist to the dish. Overall, the food was really good, and I can't wait to return for another meal!

Yelp
The food and service were great! Generous portions, reasonable wait times, and some of the best desserts we've ever had, especially the pecan pie!

Yelp
Excellent spot for a fancy dinner!! They have a large drink selection especially their great wines. Their service was really great. All the servers were very kind and helpful. The food and drink was 5 stars, and well worth the price. My meal was the country fried steak (waygu beef) and it was amazing. The flavors were an explosion of greatness; it had a perfect kick to it! The mashed potatoes were the best I've had. It was well worth every penny. The interior has a large seating area and at night is dimly lit. Lots of nice country decor. A must visit spot

Yelp
Everything we had was delicious from our tacos and onion rings to our filet and ribeye. Casey helped us have one of the best experiences at a restaurant. Truly thoughtful and made our regular evening dinner an experience.

Yelp
The ranch is fire. I got the chicken fried steak and I always love it. I also got the chocolate cake it's cool. The ambiance is nice and you pay the price for good food. Definitely try it out.

Yelp
Bustling Southern spot for corporate meals in Las Colinas. The Boneless Cowboy Ribeye is a solid steak with flavorful mashed potatoes to match. The Dessert Platter is an indulgent sampler for large groups, our favorite was the bread pudding. Service is quick and attentive for large groups. The Ranch is open and expansive with cowboy decor to match their theme.
