I had the most amazing time at The Ranch Saloon in Anaheim on New Year’s Eve! The music was incredible, the crowd was fantastic, and every single drink was top-notch. It was honestly one of the best nights I’ve ever had. However, I had a terrifying moment when I realized the next morning that I had lost my wedding ring during the festivities. I was devastated and honestly anxious because The Ranch was closed on January 1st, and I feared it was gone forever. When I returned on January 2nd, I met Hope, the Saloon Coordinator, who completely went above and beyond to help me. She was understanding, kind, and so willing to assist—letting me in off-hours, asking around, and checking the restaurant. Even though we didn’t find it right away, she took my contact information and later informed me that the cleaning staff had found my ring and kept it safe to report to management. I am so grateful to Hope and the entire Ranch team for their honesty, integrity, and care. The Ranch Saloon gave me not just an amazing night, but a New Year’s miracle! I can’t wait to come back to enjoy more events and explore the restaurant. If you’re looking for a great time with incredible people, this is the place to be—I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I had a fantastic time here. The dancers are really friendly and approachable. There was a DJ and a live band. Tonight there was a two-step country western class for beginners. It was so much fun! If you are new, it is wise to watch the dancers so you know who to ask. The good dancers are willing to teach you as you go. I got there about 6:30pm and left around 8:30pm. They have tables that you can reserve, but you have to buy a minimum amount of food or drinks. Otherwise, there is a long counter with bar stools close to the dance floor that is free to sit and enjoy the scene close up.

Great bar to hangout and enjoy line dancing. There's the restaurant side as well. Friday nights, they host line dancing and have lessons early in the night to learn how to do certain line dances. Everyone is so friendly and willing to teach you. Great place to have fun with friends or family.

The Ranch was quite underwhelming, and I feel that to be an understatement. I had high hopes for the Ranch, but the only thing it had going for it was the line dancing. The staff came off rude, and did not seem like they even wanted to be there. The lessons were fun. Each being 30 minutes. The people around us seemed to have all been having a bad day. Unfortunately, as my partner and I were dancing some older women were bad mouthing people during the dance lessons. Sitting at the closest row next to the dance floor. “That’s not how you do it…wrong step, wrong foot” Security told us they wouldn’t allow water outside of their workplace. They didn’t tell us why, nor did they bother trying to explain. My partner and I both laughed and agreed we are never coming back here, and we both knew we would not be missing out.

I had an amazing time at the ranch! Johnny, our bartender, made the best classic old-fashioned I've had in a while. The drinks were fantastic, the music was perfect, and it was an overall great experience.

Great spot for an evening. Attended a private event and we all had a great time. Music was good. Staff did a nice job.

What a wonderful night . Teaching was great and band was terrific . Nice crowd there . Super clean. Such a happy place .

It always a great place to go for going danceing and I like how they keep it traditional country dancing and I drive from San Diego to anaheim almost every weekend and the best food to eat

Our company rented out The Ranch Saloon for our annual Christmas Party, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The venue itself is gorgeous--festive, warm, and perfectly suited for a country holiday celebration. The service, food, and staff were all excellent. The team was professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire event. Guests consistently commented on how great the food was and how friendly the staff were. From an event-planning perspective, The Ranch was also very easy to work with. The band and DJ were both referred by The Ranch, so they were familiar with the venue, which made a huge difference and allowed the night to flow effortlessly. The only minor drawbacks were that buyouts are limited to Monday-Wednesday, which may not work for all companies, and the stage access was a bit challenging, especially since we were presenting company awards. That said, these were small considerations in an otherwise fantastic experience. Overall, The Ranch Saloon is a beautiful, well-run venue with exceptional staff, and we would absolutely recommend it for corporate events or large celebrations.

Parking. I was denied the closer handicap parking space because they use it for people to turn around. I was forced to walk farther. Once inside, no where available to sit to eat dinner except a roll up bar. Tons of tables, but not for me. Waitress is amazing. she is only bright spot of night. Thank you, Brooklyn!

Let me preface this review by first stating I've never heard of "The Ranch", didn't know it existed, and obviously have never been there before. We were in the area and some friends invited us to "The Ranch". My husband was concerned because he was in shorts and we were informed there were "a lot of rules". We decided to give it a try anyway to catch up with our friends. Getting in was no problem. You're asked if you want to go to the saloon or the restaurant. We wanted the saloon. Security checked my bag, let us in, paid the $15 each cover charge and we found our friends. Unbeknownst to me, there was a group of 30 of us in rows of bar tables with 3 seats at each. It looked kinda weird to have only 3 stools at each table but I didn't try to think too much about it even though my husband and I couldn't sit together. Not long after I sat down, I found out the tables have to be reserved with a $100 minimum per table. You are not allowed to move the bar stools around and must keep only 3 at each table. Since there were so many of us, we were standing at some of the tables to meet some of the people we didn't know in the group when we were asked by security to "sit down". How old are we? I paid to come in here to be told like a child to sit down? I was over it. Don't get me wrong, the place is well done. But don't plan on relaxing and enjoying yourself because you will be told where to sit, how much to spend, and probably when to use the bathroom. To boot, the service was terrible. I will never step foot in here again unless there is a full restructuring. After returning home, I read the other reviews and realized I'm not the only one. Do not patronize this place! They don't deserve your hard earned money.

My girlfriend and I, a respectful Christian couple, had a terrible experience at The Ranch Saloon that left us hurt, angry, and disgusted. We were so excited to come here for a fun night out, and even more excited to return next month for our anniversary on August 14th, which happens to land on their 18+ night. We were even seriously considering having our wedding reception here someday. Not anymore. We drove over an hour to get there, paid $35 to get in, ordered fries, and my girlfriend (who is 21) got one drink. In total, we spent over $50. Then out of nowhere, security accused me of rubbing off my Sharpie X's, which I did not do. I followed the rules, but we were still kicked out without a single chance to explain ourselves. No refund, no courtesy, just treated like we didn't matter. To make things even worse, my girlfriend has Celiac disease, and our fries came with breaded chicken chunks mixed in. That's a serious health risk for someone with a gluten allergy, and now she'll probably be sick. What really pushed this over the edge was how disrespectful the staff was. I was told multiple times by one of them that "he is not here to babysit me," which is an extremely rude and unprofessional thing to say to a paying customer especially when I hadn't done anything wrong. We had looked forward to coming back here. Now, we will never step foot in The Ranch again. The way we were treated was completely unfair, unprofessional, and disappointing. This place does not deserve your business, not when they treat paying customers like this.

This place is great for beginner dancers. The drinks and service were great and the atmosphere was on point.

4 star for the dancing and 2 stars for the food. We made reservations for a 40th birthday. We've eaten at the restaurant side and have always had a good experience. Our server was great and we had no issues there. We participated in the 6:30 dance lesson which was lots of fun but very crowded. The food was very disappointing. Everything we ordered from the bar menu was so bad and very overpriced for the quality. The chicken wings were tiny, the nachos were lacking toppings and the steak was more like ground beef, the grilled yellowtail tacos were lacking flavor. Anything we ordered off the restaurant menu was the quality we expected, except the lobster Mac and cheese only had flake of lobster. When we have ordered it in the past it had large chucks. Next time I think we will skip out on the ranch for special occasions and find somewhere with better quality food.

I used to be big on country music and line dancing, 10+ years ago, and my Mom still is, so we go here when she's convinced she wants to go. From now on, I'll pass and have her go by herself. First of all, the line dancing is now largely techno-country and new dances. Even if you request older songs or dances, they don't play them. They're catering to their 20something college crowd and regulars in a BIG way. The bar was pretty empty for a Thursday night, which we chose to celebrate my birthday. Plenty of tables open that you CAN'T sit at, unless you meet their $300 table minimum. Super fun when I told the bartender it was my birthday, he said it was his, too, and asked how old I was turning. I was honest - 36 - and he said 'getting up there' and when my Mom tried to laugh it off and say I was still young, he doubled down on how old I was getting. Keep in mind - homeboy is turning 50. The night just continuously got worse. We had to flag down a barback or this rude bartender for every single drink, refill, food order, etc. I had to quite literally elbow some drunk college kids off of me, because they were there to celebrate his birthday as their favorite bartender, and kept trying to take our seats, despite the drinks being there and half our party ALSO still sitting. He was there to just give them shots and flirt with college girls; ew. Between this visit, past visits where they patted down the hispanics in our group (both male or female) but no one else, and the overall snobby uppity attitude of the staff and patrons - hard pass. I'll go drop a few hundred literally anywhere else.

All of the food and drinks were tasty. The waitress' were very attentive always making sure we were good. The line dancing classes held on the saloon dance floor were entertaining to watch along with the live music and open dancing. Sporting events were played on TVs throughout. It was a good time with great friends!

A fun place for Line Dancing. They give 2 free lessons at 6:30pm and 7:30pm which are quick but fun (basic knowledge of dance steps help). Limited areas to sit without a reservation. 2 full bars. Security and staff throughout. Most people know every dance just by knowing the song title. That's amazing! Live bands on certain nights so check the event page of their website. They have family day on Sunday to bring your kids. Cover charge - $10

Haven't been to the Ranch in a while but went anticipating country line dancing but it was more just line dancing to pop songs. So to start disappointed with the music selection and the dance floor is small. The atmosphere is not the friendliest when relearning or learning the dances. Food was good but pricy; our waitress kept pushing a $62 ceviche. Will go try cowboy country again when I'm wanting to go dancing.

This place is great for date night or girls night out. Music is always fun and inviting, and everyone is out for a good time. I haven't been to the restaurant part, but the drinks are delicious.

The Ranch Saloon is my favorite place to dance in Orange County!! I've been going here for the last three years and last weekend was my second birthday I celebrated there. The staff were so kind, courteous, and helpful with set up and also throughout the evening. Michael, our waiter, was awesome and made sure everyone had everything they needed. My friends were able to dance the night away and enjoy themselves! Donny made our drinks and they were stellar! Food was great, music was Brad Johnson and the Killin Time Band (the best country band!) - just an incredible time! I highly recommend making this your spot for any night you want to dance, have great drinks, and enjoy some great music!

Crowded. Overpriced. Nowhere to sit. The restaurant next door actually serves really good food and since we ate there, we got in for free. I would not be happy to pay to get in. I'm too old for all that. If you want table or sit, you have to pay for that too. Even then, there wasn't much space to stand. We didn't stay long.

If you're looking for a spot in the OC where you can two-step and line dance to a live band, try The Ranch in Anaheim on a Saturday night. The food is good. The service is prompt. And nothing beats the ambience.

It's actually crazy to me that we were doing the CORRECT line dance to a song and the whole ass security guard came over to take us off the dance floor because it's not their "house version" to the specific dance. WTF. My family and I are avid line dancers, my sister is a line dance INSTRUCTOR at the bar we go to every week! They do the WRONG dance and then embarrass us and kick us off the dance floor?! DO NOT come here if you don't know how to line dance. They don't welcome you. THEN the entertainment manager Heather was then informed about the embarrassing and rude behavior of the security guard, and was rude AF herself. DONT come here to have a good time, come here if you want to follow very specific rules like a drill sergeant. Photo as proof that I WAS at this joke of an establishment. THREE other patrons of the establishment came up to us following this incident and asked what happened, when we told them they agreed that was absolutely ridiculous.

This place is great. I love line dancing and didn't know such a club exists. It was my first time here. We got in for free cause we ate at the Ranch Restaurant next door. Regular coverage fee is $10/person. The sound walls are great cause you can't hear any of the loud music at the restaurant next door. They had tables and bar seating. You can't sit at the tables unless you order food and might have a minimum spending but not sure, since we didn't inquire. We sat at the bar seats along the walls. Apparently, their burgers are great but we didn't' get a chance to try since we just finished dinner. Will definitely come back to try the burgers. It was packed on a Saturday night. They had a live band playing country music and almost everyone knew all the dance moves on the dance floor. It was a bit intimidating but fun to watch. We were asking around and apparently they offer dance lessons at 6:30pm every Thursday to Sunday. So I plan on coming back for some dance lessons. You can probably also youtube for the dance moves and practice at home. LOL After the band finished for the night, they had a DJ playing dance music. Some were also choreographed. We stayed for about an hour. At the end, they played a few songs that I knew the dance moves for so I joined in! I will definitely be back. We didn't receive any service but security was nice and so was the check in staff up front. Valet parking or free self parking.

I had heard about this place but have never been before.... Until a friend of mine invited us out to go here for her birthday last weekend. It looks like nothing from the outside but then you walk in and BAM! A huge area with a big dance floor, stage for live musical performances, several tables and 2 bars. I LOVE me some country music so I was in heaven and enjoying it very much! There were a lot of people out on the dance floor line dancing, it made for some good people watching. I didn't get out there but maybe next time. ;-) Nachos were ordered for the table, they were good. My husband especially liked the chicken on them. We shared the french dip which was great. The cocktails were good. I took off 1 star for the service. It wasn't amazing and the girl was quite slow at times... it took her a good 10 minutes (if not longer) to come back with an answer to a simple question I asked. I would definitely go back!

Alfredo the manager is an asshole. RUDE, intimidating, condescending and quite frankly makes no sense with his "rules". Celebrated a birthday here at a table- met the minimum and spend 500 dollars- great all is wonderful. Wanted to close out because 2 people had to leave, and 2 more people were joining- he told us no. It has to be the original 6 people in the party- WHAT! That literally makes zero sense! He wouldn't give us his name until we left. He has terrible customer service- and should not be a manager. The security here is overbearing and very strange considering there is not much going on. Will not be coming back- save your money and go elsewhere.

Zero stars if possible. Watched security remove multiple couples off the dance floor for doing the correct dances. Like they know anything about line dancing. While you dance there is security all the way around the room staring at you talking on their radios. I'm all for a secure safe place. But this is too aggressive. Don't come here. If you like having a fun night not the place. You will for sure stand in the wrong place or sit in the wrong place and get singled out. They will even single you out with a flashlight pointed right at your face. Imagine how it would feel to get blindsided by a bright led flashlight in the face in a darker environment. Hope they never do it to someone with epilepsy. Even had them take a girl off the dance floor due to her shoes....to then sell her a set of boots. Go to Cowboy Country in Long Beach instead. Way better vibe and people. So much for giving this place a try.

This place is going down hill fast. They have more rules than a board game. So they wanted a min spend for a table, no problem... after they sat us I saw there was a lot of empty stools and table in the back but the host told us that this was the only table left and the place is full ... We can't stand in front of our table... the place is not that busy but ok, maybe it's a safety issue... We can't have more than 6 in our booth that we are over paying for and clearly fits the 7 we have and still comfortably... uh ok we will make sure some of us are always dancing.... I had to leave early and wanted to pay my items and the birthday person's items... they said they can't spilt even one tab... I call more BS I've been here many times and there was never an issue It seems they are just lazy and enforcing rules that aren't needed. There are a lot of places that appreciate your business, go elsewhere.

The management is ridiculously bad. The staff don't care about their customers and the manager Serkan was very rude to their regulars. The rules are constantly changing, to the point that the staff don't even know what rules to follow. Additionally, there are so many security guards who are always watching and ready to kick anyone out. Please don't go if you want to relax and have a good time, the environment is not welcoming whatsoever.

We went to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday and had a horrible night filled with security guards stalking our table, we had to pay $15 to get in and $750 for the table, all patrons were excited, but security was over the top watching us. One in our group had open toe shoes on so they don't allow you in the floor. Another was asked to leave the dance floor for going wrong way too many times. If you're going to have a party I suggest going anywhere else on earth. We were excited for a fun night but security prevents fun memories. Not a fun environment, stressful, and not worth the money. The only good thing I ca say is the food was good and we had a sweet waitress that was trying to help us. The place was dead and not worth a night out.

The bouncers are out of control, on a ridiculous power trip. They kick people out for not knowing dances perfectly and then cut them off from drinking when anyone questions them. Horrible experience.

A nice environment, good food, and great service! Their drinks are good (espresso martini cucumber martini) and enjoyed free line dancing lessons. We came here on a Saturday night ($15 cover....even with table reservations) and enjoyed the music and DJ. I'm not a country person but did like the atmosphere. Security is a little "tight" and strict. Definitely not crowded for a Saturday night but expensive for a girls night with reserving a table.

Beautiful place, great people, wonderful music, but they crowd the dancers into a tiny space by making the table minimums so high. Unnecessary, especially considering how many tables stay empty. I understand that it is a business, but it feels disrespectful to the dancers. $75 per person? On a Thursday?! Dancers line up 30 minutes before opening just so they could get a seat at the extremely limited and over-crowded free bar seating. It's pathetic. The dancers are (understandably) territorial, prepared with names on CDs that cover their water and protect their precious free spot from being taken by another person. I know that dancers can be cheap - not buy food/drinks or drink only water - and it is our responsibility to do what we can to support the establishments that provide a home for us to dance, but there should be an option that doesn't break the bank for regulars and at the same time treats us with respect. How about offer monthly memberships for regulars that allow you to sit at a table with a lower minimum? Security, btw, is unnecessarily militant. The establishment could probably save a good amount of money by cutting their staff in half and still have an effective crew. Lastly, the girls at the front desk have a tough job being the gatekeepers for the high prices and the strict rules, but it would be nice if they could be friendly or smile or at the very least be somewhat warm. What should be a magical place feels like a barn for dancers who are made to put on a show for people at the tables. Management, listen to your regulars. The people who once adored you. Two stars instead of one because the dance floor is beautiful, the sound system is great, the dj is excellent, and that guitar mirror ball is straight out of a dream.

This place seriously needs new management. I don't think the owner reads these reviews. Look at how many folks are NOT on the dance floor when most bands play. Enough said. This is a classic example of doing the same thing but expecting different results.

Let me start by saying, I had a great time with the group that I was with, celebrating a birthday in the reserve section & the band played amazingly! As a person who grew up with country music, born in Texas, and familiar with country dancing etiquette, this bar has a lot to learn about being tactful, courteous, & country values when enforcing their very rigid rules on the dance floor. 1. If you don't know how to dance, don't bother coming here (it's probably why they are not as crowded as I remember it being the last time I went). 2. If you know how to dance, but you don't dance the way they do, don't bother. 3. If you do bother coming and you aren't dancing the line dance the way they do, even if your dancing the correct dance to it's song, security will come to the dance floor and tell you to get off the dance floor! 4. If you do get on the dance floor but don't know how to dance and you want to try to follow along and learn (any style) security will come throw you off the dance floor too! 5. Security isn't tactful, so when they humiliate you, don't bother complaining because the Entertainment Manager, Heather, will give you her attitude and tell you it's just the way it is! 6. Food took over an hour to come out but don't bother complaining, they just tell you it's coming and they're busy! 7. They aren't being racist or prejudice, their security is strait hood from the hood with his earned facial tats (IYKYK) to prove it, but he's just taking orders from management & he'll school you on line dancing! Lol... 8. Management is just simply rude!!! Bottom line, for a party of 3 girls, $45 on entry, $150 on food (not including drinks), good DJ & the band was awesome! If you want to dance, just make sure these OC people teach you how THEY do it, because you will be controlled! ***Unless you're drunk... lots of drunk people acting a fool, but security leaves them alone! We'll stay in our Horse town & line dance with a friendly, encouraging, fun crowd!

The decor was elegant western. The service was amazing. The server anticipated our needs, our glasses were never empty and not a crumb on the table. The food was mouth watering and so filling. Everything is enough for two people or more to share. Make sure you save room for dessert (recommend the crème Brulé and hazelnut bar).

I tried more than once to like this place. Just not enough good to outweigh the bad. Drinks are pricey. Service is slow and security is very aggressive and hands. I've seen more than one patron roughly escorted out. I watched a situation unfold where a guy that had nothing to do with an incident was told to leave by the security and when he was just calmly explaining his side of the story, security said shut the F up I don't give a crap you're out of here too. Then they grabbed the guy and dragged him out. He was completely innocent had nothing to do with the situation at all. On top of everything else, unless you're part of the daily crew and their little click, you're going to be made to feel uncomfortable if you don't abide by their unwritten rules or don't just know the program when you get in there, it's not going to be an exciting time Again, I've tried to go two or three times and hopes that it was just in one off, but each time was a disaster it could be maybe a change in management. I know the restaurant next-door used to be great, but it went way downhill as well so who knows

If I could give this place zero stars I would. To reiterate other reviews, service is abysmal and staff will target you if you are a person of color. Our entire duration, my friend and I were followed and observed, told not to stand within 6 inches of the cocktail tables even though the surrounding area was empty and we had purchased food and drink. We weren't even sitting! Just standing nearby chatting with friends who had reserved said table. A regular at the place noticed and told us "they are treating you that way because they can tell that you are not regulars. Give it a chance. Once they know you, they will treat you differently." Unreal! Needless to say, not only will I never go back, I actively warn people away from this place. The rationale and approach was completely nonsensical, racist, and nothing I had ever experienced before.

Came here with my friend for their Thursday night dance nights. We arrive around 9pm after any lessons so there was just line dancing and two step. I've gone to country bars in Northern California before and I liked this one because of the clear dance floor and seating room area around it. Usually there were about 3-5 line dance songs played and then about 3 two step songs and these blocks of dancing switched off back and forth throughout the night. Not all the line dances were country songs but there was a nice mix of improver and advanced that kept us on our toes. I probably only recognized about 1/3 of the dances but was able to pick up a good amount on the floor. The two step was fun too with some people choosing to do swing in the middle. They had water cups and pitchers of water available. Given that the Ranch is also a restaurant, there ended up being some overlap with the restaurant attendees and dancers. This also increased the average age. Overall was a fun night!!

Sunken dancefloor with a stage where a live band plays or a DJ in the corner booth. All the U shaped seating around the dancefloor gives you a good seat to watch. This place is not for beginners. It is open dance but if you don't know the steps they will ask you to leave the dance floor. Fun time even better if you know the dance steps.

you can't go on the dance floor unless you know how to dance, which was a big bummer. the employees are all aggressive and rude, and you feel like everything you say/do is being watched. I wouldn't come back

Went there for the 1st time last night. There was 14 of us. $15 cover charge to get in. If you want a place to sit at a table $50 minimum per person at the table. A few of us had not ate yet, so we planned to eat there. At first they would not allow the few that was willing to pay the $50 minimum to get tables. The rude girls at the front said it has to be everyone or no on. After talking with some kind of manager and going back up to the front they allowed six of us to get a table 3/3. It is very easy to hit the $50 with the price of the food and drinks. I will say all the food we got was very good and well worth the price. With cover charge and price of food and drinks you would think they could turn the AC on. The waitress and female bartender was friendly , but for the security and manager a little up tight and watching every little move. Did not make for a relaxed atmosphere. In the early 90s I worked at Inchoots as security and as a bar back, so I know what a relaxed atmosphere and a good time is like

5 stars - Service was attentive. 2 stars - Food was sad. For the price I expected more. Filet was bland even with all the fancy dressing. Normally I would get a full body red to go with a good salted ribeye or filet, but didn't need to. typically I prefer a ribeye, but they only have the gigantic 58oz size for $158. Morton's or Ruth Cris steaks are better. 1.5 star for sides. Again, not salt.Caesar salad was so bland I asked for anchovies they brought me 4 half and charged extra $12. The capacio needs lemon and capers 4 stars for ambiance. The longhorn logo is super cool. Love the dark wood and leather vibe. Conclusion, we would not be coming back.

Our journey from the city took nearly 2 hours, but as I continue to explore Los Angeles, I'm becoming accustomed to the idea that reaching any destination here often requires more than an hour. Eager to introduce our European friend to the Westside canty-style "Saloon" experience, we decided to go there Finding the location was a breeze, thanks to clear signage, ample parking, and a striking building reminiscent of an old theater with its ornate front doors. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and swiftly seated at an excellent table for three, despite not having made a reservation. From the moment we stepped inside, the service exceeded our expectations. The staff assisted us with the menu and drink choices while sharing captivating stories about the place. Unfortunately, the "Saloon" hall was closed during our visit, as it turns out they operate on a schedule, which was my oversight. However, the main restaurant hall was stunning, well-kept, and oozing with style. The menu offered a delightful mix of familiar dishes and intriguing options. Each one of us ordered a different steak, complemented by a shared starter. To say that the food was delicious would be an understatement. The steaks were prepared to perfection, and they easily rank among the best I've had in the United States to date. It's worth noting that while the prices are on the higher end, with our bill totaling around $600 for three people, and only one cocktail consumed, the exceptional service and the overall dining experience more than justified the cost. P.S. We also got visit of the "Saloon" section, which only adds to the allure of this restaurant.

I have severe knee issues that keep me from using stairs, sitting on a high level chair, or dancing. My kids love to dance, so I sometimes go to spend time with them. Tonight I was told to sit in this area that has 3 lower chairs. it is considered the handicap area. The security guy had to ask the gal seated there to let me sit there. My family could not join me. I never was offered to order drink or food. It was a terrible night. I will not be going back until a new manager learns how to treat people. I was totally discriminated against and it was so wrong.

The ranch was amazing. We went for my moms 60th birthday and we got table service. It was worth it even though it's a bit pricey for a smaller group. We were easily able to make the minimum with all the delicious food and drinks that we had to try, dancing was fun, and some other regulars even gave me dancing lessons. It was a night that we will never forget as a family.

We went last night for two reasons specifically, the first being that it was 18+ night meaning my boyfriend (19) was allowed in, and second being that Bootscootinboogie, a line dancing instructor whose videos I love to learn from, was there instructing (none of our negative experience has anything to do with him, still love Bootscootinboogie!). When we arrived, I (21) was given a blue wristband and my boyfriend was given two large X's Sharpied onto his hands. Perfect, exactly how I'd expect/hope the place would be run. Although things ended awfully, I have to say that we were truly having a great time initially and even planned on heading back next week for our 1-year anniversary. Those plans were cancelled by the end of the night. My boyfriend had gone to the bathroom a few times throughout the night and washed his hands, a habit that I appreciate as a normal, sanitary person, but I guess is discouraged if you want to avoid being kicked out of The Ranch. A guy came up to him at one point of the night to reapply his Sharpie X's because they were fading. That went totally fine. He even said to come find him if they wore out at all later to reapply again if he needed to. Everything was fine at this point. That all changed very quickly when a man, apparently the head of security, began waiting at the edge of the dance floor for us to come off. As we walked off, he approached my boyfriend and asked to come talk to him outside. I went along, and when we got outside, he proceeded to describe to my boyfriend how they caught him on the security cameras "rubbing his hands raw" to get the Sharpie off and that "they're not here to babysit him, so we need to leave." I can only laugh about it now, because the idea that my boyfriend, who doesn't drink and gladly complied when the one guy asked to reapply his marks, was scratching at his hands (would doing that with dry hands even remove Sharpie?) just so that he could try to get a drink WITHOUT A WRISTBAND is so absurd. Maybe the bouncers have a game where they pick a random innocent patron from the security cameras and make up reasons for the other person to kick them out, like an Impractical Jokers kind of thing? That's truly a more reasonable explanation. My boyfriend asked for his money back, and they refused to give it to us. The people here are ridiculous, and I'm glad to see that plenty of other reviews here have highlighted how overbearing and incompetent the staff is. Needless to say, we're never coming back, and it's too bad because the place would be fun otherwise.

Great times there, I've been dancing there since day one. Great instructors, great bands. I've met so many friends and we are a dance family.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. And only because Alfredo, the manager is awful. Horrible customer service and not a human that should be people facing. We were there for my birthday, having a blast. Spent money on a table, had dinner and drinks. My pregnant friend was leaving and another friend was just showing up. He would not allow her to join our table and the way he went about it was all wrong. Know that when you sit down, no one else can join your table. 'Only original guests at the table' , with no warning. Will never come here again, that's how badly this guy handled the situation. Line dancing instructor was great. So funny and made learning really easy!

I came to the Ranch Saloon because unfortunately the place i used to line dance at closed. I was hoping to find a new place to start going to each weekend and this was the first one I decided to try. The outside was beautiful and different than any other line dancing place i've seen so far. It immediately gave off more fancier vibes than I was expecting. As we walked in the security opened the door for us which I thought was nice and i paid for entry. I noticed right away the christmas decorations and how pretty it looked! After that comes finding seats which was hard. My boyfriend and i didn't want to reserve a table as this was our first time there and we got there an hour after opening since I worked and we were hoping we'd find barstools. However there were none already, so we stood for about an hour until a couple left. The band in my opinion was okayyy, this places seems to draw more of an older crowd so they focus a lot on two stepping, they also did the electric slide and slappin leather like 3 times?? The DJ also played way more two step/couple dances than solo line dancing songs in my opinion Food: I only had nachos but they were pretty good however i noticed the receipt isnt itemized which to me is a red flag especially if you're buying more than one thing. The nachos were quite expensive i paid 24 dollars but they were good and i was starving. With all this being said I thought maybe i just went on the wrong night and I hope to try it out again soon on one of their line dancing thursdays since that seems more of what im looking for! Overall this won't become my the go to place for my boyfriend and i but id love to come for dinner and some dancing for a special event.

Waitress was awesome. Manager was the biggest ass hat of all time. Telling the person who's name the table was under that he "couldn't sit down" because it "want his table." Clearly a misunderstanding on their part and then the manager continued to be super aggressive and telling us we couldn't have people swapping places at the table. Horrible customer service at 8:45pm when the place wasn't busy and we just spent a lovely evening celebrating a friends birthday. Totally ruined the evening for us unfortunately. He also refused to give us his name until we left the restaurant. I'll be editing later to include his information.

The cover charge is ridiculous in addition to the price of the drinks and food. It's a very young or couples crowd.

If you're a person of color, DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Our friend celebrated her birthday here and management kept saying she was inappropriately dressed when she was wearing a regular top and shorts. And other white women were wearing bralets and short shorts and we pointed them out and management turned a blind eye to them. We had our friend literally dressed up after they kept singling her out and they continued to call her out. Absolutely ruined her birthday and they said they weren't playing the race card and yet when we pointed out these scantily clad white women they feigned ignorance and insisted that it's not the race card. We were the only large Asian party that purchased a table and for security to treat us like that is absolutely Abhorrent. Do not give them your money if you're a PoC. The absolute disrespect that their Management showed us is disgusting.

Terrible service. Don't even bother coming here. Our friends got kicked out because they walked through the wrong door on their way to the restroom. This guard had been on us all night, and watching every move our group made. We were a group of 14 people who had dinner at the Ranch for a birthday and went to the saloon as recommended by our waiter. My friend took out her inhaler and they mistakenly accused her of vaping, that was strike one. She had to take it out of her bag so he could verify that it was indeed for her asthma. Then my friends walked through the wrong door & they were immediately escorted out. Four staff members rushed to escort out two men. As if they did something so terrible that is required so much manpower. When explaining to him that it was a mistake and they were on the way to the restroom, he said there was no way that was the case given that he had observed them go to the restroom before and they knew how to get there. We spent so much money for a terrible ending.. Both incidents were escalated by the guy in the picture. Save your money and go to a better steakhouse in OC.

Amazing Atmosphere and energy! The staff made sure my wife's birthday was perfect! The event coordinator Hope , took the time to make sure all details were taken care of. The Ranch is a special place to have a party and the staff made sure the food was served at proper time and all guests were happy! If you're looking for a great place to have an event,. I recommend you see Hope at the Ranch saloon .

We recently had a company holiday party at The Ranch and our event was flawless. We worked with Alyson leading up to the event and she was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. She and Jordan were very supportive of our needs during the event, the food and drinks were excellent, the venue was beautiful, and all around, we have nothing but good things to say. The DJ, JAG, was also wonderful - very flexible and easy to work with and during the party, he was incredibly animated and thorough with his line dance instructions.
