"You can expect jerk pork, curry goat gravy, and a whole chicken meal from this feelgood Caribbean spot in Streatham. They’re open for takeaway and you can order delivery here. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Called and booked a table for 3 people on a Saturday late afternoon. That went smoothly. Was my mums 65th birthday she had the jerk chicken . She liked it a lot . I tasted it. It was soft ( for the breast part) and taste nice . Portions good. I had the curry goat roti, very nice , good pieces inside for the price ! Ackee and salt fish was nice too ! Nice customer service from a fair skinned young lady, who also helped to bring the birthday cake. Also a young man. All very polite , friendly and good music . Nice food. Thank you, would return!

The jerk chicken is not really jerk its just seased chicken, same with the wings, so disappointed. The Mac and cheese was nothing special it lacked flavour, the rice was some big bullet rice, coleslaw wasn't home made just some out the pAcket coleslaw. The jerk lamb ribs weren't to my standard but my mate did like them. The Guinness punch was 10 out of 10 . That was the only thing I like. I also like the design of the restaurant. I only went there as tru flavours was closed. Won't be going back

A good atmosphere all round. We were a party of 6. We were engaged in a deep and lengthy conversation, but weren't rushed, or hustled in to making our orders. I personally liked that. All agreed that the meal was good, good, good. I feel the meal was full of flavour. It wasn't over seasoned, to the point of tasting salty. The seasoning was well balanced and flavoured the food excellently for me. Also it wasn't oily at all. An excellent meal all round. Give this establishment a visit. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

Prior to calling we had just come out of the cinema, the film was great. Afterwards we were hungry so my fam member had suggested we order some food from here and then drive round to collect. On calling the restaurant the immediate reception was of impatience. The lady sounded put out by us barely asking questions. I was ready to hang up and head to Mcdonald's but same fam member reassured me that they had gone there about 4 times and food had been good. She had eaten in. Anyhoo we carried on ordering and still sat for a time before driving round. On entering the lady was busy with the take away delivery pick ups and was still flustered. While there she was polite however we still sat for some time waiting for the food. Then was told the rice and peas that we were told was available now was not so white rice was the option. When it was finally brought up the lady was trying to write the prices of each item onto a hand written paper she had. At times crossing out prices and writing another while adding it up. She did make sure we had what was ordered however what we were charged was completely different to the prices online so that needs to be UPDATED!!! Though saying that some reviews I have since read even say the eat in pricea are also different to the menu given. My 3 fam members found their goat very salty so were disappointed. I had ordered the shrimp roti. When I initially began eating from it all that was there was potatoes 😳 this went on for most of it. I only found 4 prawns right at the end of the roti wrap. There was flavour to the prawns and potatoes but better to have called it a potato wrap with a hint of prawns. The roti itself was not edible. The mac and cheese was nice but overall the food was overpriced and underwhelming. Over £80 spent in total and Mcdonald's would have been a better and safer bet. Safer because once home one fam member, after having a little of the pea's soup was vomiting. Later that weekend it resulted in her going to hospital and being told she had food poisoning. She'd not eaten that day except for the food purchased. The doc at the hospital actually told her that when meat is almost going off sometimes restaurants will use a lot of salt to cover it. 🤢🤮 If I had read the reviews prior to my fam member saying to definitely go ahead with the order, I would have not bothered. It would be great if they turned this place around but as it stands....eat there at your own peril.

Twice we just turned up for lunch and the service and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend to all my friends to eat here and so far no one has been disappointed. The atmosphere, the food, the ambience is all on point. I look forward to dining here again real soon

The atmosphere was great. But the food was OK. My Hubby and our friends who had meals here had mixed reviews. But we all said we would come back again as it's probably one of those Caribbean places that was better than most and it was worth visiting again. The jerk chicken which we all tried was the best dish. The oxtail was tasty too. The rice & peas needed some more coconut milk and for some reason was cold by the time it came to the table. My friend who had the fried chicken said it wasn't seasoned before being fried so wasn't enjoyable. And the food in general just needed to be hot considering the wait. The roti everyone enjoyed and the homemade ginger drink was really good. We hope some of issues mentioned will be addressed so that on our next visit, it'll be a more enjoyable experience. Plus, I will always support my people lol✊🏾.

Customer service is incredibly slow and poor. Customer service training is needed ASAP. After taking our drink order, no one came to take our food order for very long. We had to pull staff aside to ask for our order. I asked for a glass of water and it didn't arrive. I had to go the the bar and get it. Made a special request to bring out the dumpling with the starters. The mains arrived and still no dumpling. We had to once again pull staff aside to ask for this. The dumpling and fritters seemed as if they has been refried. We decided not to pay the service charge as the service was really bad. Food is good (Oxtail and rice to be precise).

Beautifully decorated, with a warm atmosphere and a constant play of tunes to vibe to. You definitely have a taste of the Caribbean here. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, and I would give a 5 star for him alone. The food here is really worth the wait. Call in advance and allow extra time if you're in a rush - rushed food at a Caribbean restaurant doesn't normally equal food satisfaction so bear that in mind. They also have a fully booked alcohol selection and close late most days. This place isn't cheap, but what you get for the scenery, atmosphere, food and service - it's worth every penny.
