The Real KTV

This place felt like a hidden gem since I also had trouble finding it. This place was quite nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was cool too. I was impressed with how the rooms looked. Especially the bigger rooms. Our keypad for skipping songs or calling for someone was broken so it was a little annoying we had to get up to do that. Prices were very reasonable per hour if you go early. Plus, whatever you spend for the room, you can get food/drinks equaling that amount. Overall a great 4 hours spent in there.

This KTV is hidden in the corner of 3F Royal Queen. The decoration and service is good, and the audio device works nice. Food is just okay that we ordered $138 combo, and most of the food tasted bland. I also ordered fried calamari and it tasted good. 👉🏻price: medium Room $55/hour in daytime

My go to ktv place in flushing. The price you pay for the room can be used for food/drink money in the room. I went there recently and got the medium room at midnight and it cost $40/hr. You’re not allowed to bring outside food or drinks so if they see you holding a bag of takeout, they’ll put it on the side and return it to you at the end of your session. Sadly you have to pay for water, so you should ask for an ice bucket. But highly recommend getting some food or drinks based on how much you’re gonna pay for the room. [for example, we spend 2 hours in the room and it was $40/hr. So we had $80 in food credit that we can use based on the prices on the menu. If you spend over the $80 credit, they’ll deduct if based on how much you went over.] There are several employees that speak English and can help you out. When you first enter the room, an employee will come in and tell you to read the rules or translate it in English to you and you have to sign the paper. They will also give you a cover for the mics, so make sure to put that cover on them. There’s a tablet on the wall that allows you to choose songs. Make sure to press the Language icon to change it to the language you’re comfortable reading. Also, I noticed that whenever I go into the room they spray something that smells good and when I leave, my clothes usually smell like cigarettes or that restaurant smell. So make sure to change your outfit before laying on your bed or the heavy scent may stay there. The drinks are a bit overpriced and the employee will demand 18% tip. If you give less, they will tell you that you have to give at least 18% (which is pretty normal around these areas for Ktv + some restaurants) We got the Long Island iced tea (alcohol) but I don’t recommend getting that one. It was very bitter. Also, the medium room we were in didn’t have a personal bathroom, so we had to use the public bathroom (they have separate stalls for males and females).

Amazing for parties!! I was hesitant as I heard of the place through a friend who attended an event there. I called and the attendant was just okay over the phone. However she did everything with great care and would always answer my questions. For an extra $100 they decorate for birthdays. They allow you to bring your own birthday cake and they roll it out with a sparkler and provide plates and forks. The room price for 25 people was $50 per hour and the room was huge with a stage + two tvs and it’s own personal bathroom. Amazing servers who helped with everything. I definitely recommend this place. it is tricky to find as you have to go through the restaurant on the third floor so that’s confusing however it is a nice clean room perfect for parties.

Spent my birthday here on January 15 2022 and I’ll just say that my friends and I had an amazing time! Service was great they were kind and patient and helped us manage the choice of music and helped us connect to Bluetooth. I got the VIP room for up to 15 people and the decor / lights were super nice and gave club vibes! There are plenty of English songs to choose from and two microphones to pass around . I will definitely come back again (:

Amazing fun KTV. wide range of Chinese, English, Korean songs. Rates are decent and the rooms are very nice. They allow you to purchase values of drinks and food up to the value of the cost of the room at no extra cost. Nice evening

Pros: good food specially the pizza, fancy room, mic stand in the corner, updated songs. Cons: pungent smell inside the room, app for their song is always crashing

I went to the Real KTV 3/17/24 for a small birthday gathering. It was hard to found. It's on the 3rd floor in the New World Mall, we took the escalator to the 2nd floor, walked through the supermarket, then took another escalator and wand up in the middle of a busy restaurant that was having an event. It was awkward mixing in the middle of a private elegant event. When we finally found the rooms, security was there along with staff. I later found out that some guest was being pat frisk ! In addition, no outside food and drinks are permitted , they have food and beverages for sale on site. There are limited english song options in the karaoke catalog. The songs are outdated. On a lighter note , rooms and bathrooms are clean. There are LED lights, seating and table for decorations. Room rates were reasonable.

Located in the New World Mall - on the top floor (3rd floor). Once you get to the top floor you see a bunch of tables because there's a restaurant. The KTV place is located in the corner. You walk through a narrow hallway and there is a person at the end to help you. I recommend making reservations ahead of time since it gets really busy during the weekend. They speak Mandarin as well. The drinks and food you purchase go towards the cost of the room. The food are more like snacks (i.e. fries). The rooms are all modern and clean. There are different types of rooms depending on how many people, etc. The presidential suite has its' own en suite bathroom. The KTV equipment is really nice, great sound. It is a bit of a struggle if you don't read chinese. This place seems to be pretty popping on the weekends. It is nice but just really far away if you live in Manhattan.

My friends and I traveled from different states (me being from California) and we planned to have a karaoke day during our New York trip. The karaoke lounge is located in a Chinese restaurant/banquet hall. The aesthetics were so beautiful once we walked in! We booked a VIP room, and we had about 12+ people that fit comfortably. When my friend called to book our room, we originally wanted to book for 4 hours of karaoke from 8PM-12AM, however the staff said that we can only book from 8PM-2AM. Thought that was a strange and they must be squeezing for more money. So 6 hours of karaoke it is! The thing that I love about this place is that whatever money that is paid towards the room can go towards refreshments, alcohol, and snacks. It's basically food/drink credit. I believe our room was about $600ish and we were able to get a bottle of Hennessy, two orders of popcorn chicken, an order of takoyaki, fries, and water. Split between 12+ people, the price wasn't bad at all. With tip, each person in our party paid about $60+. There is a touchscreen where you can add songs, edit the audio effects, volume, and other controls. There's a bathroom in the room however I'm unsure how often it's cleaned- it smelled heavily of urine when we used it. Nonetheless, my friends and I had a blast.

The service and value of the price has gone downhill throughout the years. This would probably be my last time going to the Real KTV. Went there with a party of 4 adults and 3 kids on a Saturday late afternoon. Called ahead on the same day to reserve a room but all small and medium rooms are fully booked. Only large room are available for $40 per hour. Minimum stay is 2 hours. We agreed that works for us. They mandated someone to sign a paper when we got in to the large room with some rules such as paying a fine if there is any damages in the room and ridiculously a mandated 18% tip! Although many years ago, they didn't have this rule. Food and drinks from the menu prices are marked up high. They used to serve dim sum food options and the large green tea big bottles. However, depending the cost of the how long we booked, the cost credit to ordering from the menu. When we got the bill, all prices are round to the nearest dollar. When we saw the payment method is cash, we thought we need to pay by cash. After some calculating we dropped $100. The waiter came back and said we are a few dollars short and it should be $104. It's hysterical that this has happened and the business calculated the tip percentage after tax total which shouldn't be allowed. If you really like to go here, I suggest to reserve a small or medium room early on and expect to pay a 18% tip regardless.

Convenient KTV spot located inside of New World Mall. Was extremely easy to make a reservation here. They charge per hour but the cost can be spent on any food/drink purchases. The rate for Friday night was $60 per hour. The medium sized room comfortably fit our group of 10. Songs were hard to locate on their controllers, but we were able to queue songs from our phones through We Chat!

Its been long time since I have been to a KTV. Its even longer with the Covid in place. After some restrictions have been lifted and laxed, I was able to come to this KTV to have happy wonderful time with friends. It was somehow relieving to be finally back to KTV to experience precovid life. I'd have to say, I didn't know this place existed inside of New World Mall. I always thought that all the loud music and singing came from wedding hall and banquet in the restaurant at the last floor of New World Mall. I was wrong and I learned this new place. The room that we got was a medium sized room with inclusive toilet. The room hours included with free drinks and food. Need to consume all that before time is up. It matches with standard offering of other KTV places. The song menu is up to date and its got variety of songs: Spanish, Chinese, English, and more I gotta say, this place is a better KTV place than others in Flushing, so far the best among them

The entrance is inside the Chinese restaurant on the top floor of the mall, at a corner. Really good room and services, very spacious and everything looks clean and new. Great collection of Cantonese and Mandarin music as well as k-pop. It is charged by the hour per room and the cost can be used to deduct any purchases on food and drinks - which makes it really affordable. The cocktails are not cheap but are made fairly strong. Definitely one of the best karaoke places in town

Great place for a group of friends for KTV in flushing. Though they didn't have a lot of the new songs, the rooms are nice and the servers were quite helpful.

Pretty standard chinese KTV place, but I've definitely been to better. It's cool that you can apply the cost of the room to food and beverage costs (which are of course really highly priced). The staff was pretty accommodating to our many requests, being a group of ten with many orders. The English song selection was very meh. Some top hits were not there, and they also didn't have much new current music. Also, the main reason I would not return is that the whole place felt dirty! First of all, the guy checking bags and ID's was wearing his mask on his chin, aka why bother. Our room had these gray blue velvety couch seatings that were just not welcoming to me and did not feel clean at all! I couldn't comfortably sit until a few drinks in. Also, they make the entrance to their bathrooms look like it's part of a 5 star hotel but literally like 9/10 stalls were disgusting. Clearly nobody cleans it throughout the day, if ever. I don't see what is the point of having the outside look soo grand when no maintenance is put into keeping it useable! Sorry but that memory alone keeps me from ever wanting to return.

Located on the top floor of the popular New World Mall, we were excited to have our reservation in for Sunday at 2 pm for 2 hours. Surprisingly affordable at $20 per hour, we were led to an average sized room. We were given two microphones, and told that we had room credit that can be used for food. Upon sitting down, we noticed an odd stench from one corner but didn't know where it was coming from, it lasted throughout our entire stay. The second issue was it was very difficult to find songs on the screen, almost none of the recent songs were listed so we had to go through the list of top 500 popular songs. We ordered takoyaki & strawberry icecream (both good & maxed out our credit limit). Overall, although decor, value and service was great, I couldn't help but address that KTVs should make their song selections more easily accessible and up to date. I would hope they update their system or make the settings more clear to users in the future.

I wish I can give zero star to this place as it's not friendly to non Chinese speaker. The waiters are RUDE and be careful when you place order on room credit. The food and drinks are straight trash, like what are you serving? The fruit platter and snacks were decent. This place needs better employees and non Chinese servers. Best of all, there's a mandatory service fee, which was ridiculous. Would not recommend this place at all!!!

Had two parties here paid $100 for extra decor .... It wasn't much just balloons not even the happy bday signs was up unlike the pics on yelp kinda disappointed ... after the first time I wanted to give them A second chance lol .... Yeah the second time it was only balloons cause they were running late . Drinks were very pricy but the room size was great . Kinda Confusing when it came to picking songs ( better have WeChat ) but over all not bad .

We came in as a party of 6 at around 3pm on a Saturday since we had just finished dim sum in the area and wanted to hang out a bit more. Two other karaoke places were closed - probably due to the pandemic - so we came here. They gave us a room at $40 per hour and we stayed for 2 hours. The rooms are super nice. They had a bathroom INSIDE the room! I was super impressed by this and really would recommend this place for big parties. They didn't tell us that the $80 we were paying would apply to the drinks/food menu, so we didn't order drinks until our last 30 minutes. We had to chug our drinks. Although, to be fair, everything is so overpriced that we didn't get too much with our credit. For $80, we had a bottle of soju, 2 beers, a mango smoothie, and a coke. Service was fine and the karaoke system is pretty easy to use.

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin! After one of the best dim sum experiences of my life, I noticed a check in area for karaoke in the back. As i've always wanted to rent a karaoke room, we asked if there was anything available for our group of 6, and were led to an amazing, comfortable and glamorous room within minutes! The room was HUGE, with enough room for 15 people, it also included it's own bathroom. There were wrap around couches, a big food table, three big screens, and an actual stage with a standing mic! The young guys working the rooms were helpful and nice, one walked us through how to access songs in english on the touch screen. Honestly, without his help there was no way we would have figured it out! When he left he said someone would come to let us know when our hour was about up, which was helpful. We were charged $40 for the hour, with tax and tip (which was added) it came to $50. We had tons of fun and I hope to return soon, my only reluctance is that I literally have no idea what their pricing structure is! I absolutely recommend The Real KTV to anyone looking for a fun karaoke experience. With all of that said, I am sharing concerns below in hopes that management will consider my reflections/questions... There was no "menu" or price listings of any kind. I couldn't even access a web page. The young guy checking people in seemed to be just quoting different prices to different customers. This makes it really hard to plan for a group or a party, or even decide if you want to book an additional hour. Other reviews mentioned being able to apply the room fee toward ordering food, is that true? Is there any listing of your prices on the internet? While our attendant did show us how to access english on the touch screen, it was tricky and took up a lot of time. Not sure if there is a way to make english access easier for customers, but I believe it would go a long way!

The Real KTV located on the 3rd Floor of New World Mall. Their rooms are all very fancy and on a Saturday afternoon we were able to reserve ahead of time without a problem. They did accidently give our room to another party but they were able to resolve and arrange us a new room in a timely manner (less than 10 minutes). It was $32 hours (afternoon price not evening) and like most Karaoke places you are able to use the room price to order food and drink. Their music menu is pretty updated (English, Chinese, Korean). The minor problem with their Karaoke system is there wasn't an option to completely change all the writing to English (also asked for assistance but they said it wasn't possible, there will be Semi-Chinese) so it took some time to get use to where to check for certain options but of course all the song's name that is in English is in English. There is also a small stage with a microphone for those whose in the bold enough to use it!

I can't believe I've been to New World Mall as many times as I have and never knew this place even existed. Even after knowing that it was on the third floor of the mall, I was confused because the restaurant looks to take up the whole floor. However, it's tucked away in a corner behind the restrooms of the restaurant. I'm not sure if it's because we were in a bit of a rush to get a room as we had other plans after, but I didn't notice any signs of pricing or anything of the sort. I had read Yelp reviews about drink credits and such too, but was not informed of any of that when we had arrived. It would have been nice to have things laid out more explicitly. Nonetheless, they only had a Medium Room available for us (around 3:00 PM on a Saturday). As it was only $20/hr, we didn't really make a huge fuss about it since that's a fairly reasonable price compared to Manhattan. We were in complete shock when we saw the size of the room. You probably could have comfortably fit 15 (if not more) people in the room and we were only 3. What I also really liked was that they mostly had the music videos for the songs that we wanted, instead of having to watch really awkward videos that make no sense at a typical karaoke place. The system is a bit hard to navigate since it was all in Chinese, but we eventually figured it out. The song selection was also quite extensive, and most things that we were looking for were available. Overall a great time and would definitely hope to be back!

It's located on the third floor of a shopping mall. The plus side is the 7 train takes you right outside the mall. We went on the weekend and the prices were $10/hr for a small room of 4 people. We sang for 4 hours and the total ($40) can be used to order food and drink. So technically you're not paying for the karaoke. We ordered the crispy chicken which was really good. They have quite a couple of recent songs, but the newest ones are still missing. I would say songs released in the last 6 months are not available. I walked past some bigger room and they had standing mics positioned in a corner. I would love to come back and sing in one of those big rooms! It must feel like you are on stage!

The workers here have NO SENSE OF LOGIC and are RACIST. We were here for 2 hours and only 10 min after we left, I realized I left my umbrella in the room and it's pouring rain. The next group of people just walked in and haven't started singing or anything and the workers blocked me from getting my umbrella. CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY TOLD US TO WAIT FOR 2 HOURS AND COME BACK AND HOPE THE UMBRELLA IS THERE?!?! Or we can leave a phone number and they'll call us if they find it. I'M NOT WAITING FOR 2 HOURS and HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WALK OUT IN THE RAIN WITHOUT MY UMBRELLA TO WAIT FOR 2 HOURS? We asked if they can go in and get it for us, they said no. Terrible service. I used to come here all the time with my friends but we're not coming back. There are plenty of other and better karaoke spots to go to. And I'm telling all my friends and family not to go here.

Had a really good time here the other night celebrating my brother's birthday. The place was a little weird to find late at night as nothing was in English or had any signs. We seemed to have the biggest room in the establishment which was HUGE! The song selection process is a bit difficult too as you have to navigate through a system that isn't for English speaking users. Their food and drinks are also really expensive. I didn't enjoy the food much and would probably only attend here to enjoy the ambiance. The three stars is mostly given because of how beautiful the establishment is and the fun we had but I would definitely recommend that they make this location more user friendly especially with having diverse patrons.

I've been here a couple of times and this use to be my favorite spot for karaoke but the service has really gone down. If you're not coming with a group of 4 or more then don't come. There small room reeks of cigarettes and the disco light was broken. It was just a small dark room with a tv and table. With the mandatory tip of 18% it seems like the workers there doesn't really care about customer service..

I celebrated my birthday here after finding it from Yelp. The room was decorated fabulously though as per request ($50) it was nicely done! The room was clean and the service was really great. They're very accommodating. We love our server Will! This is a genuine review as I was very excited and happy to celebrate my birthday! Yay! Do not hesitate to come here, Me and most of my friend came all the way from jersey. We have cars and we got free parking which depends on how much you're consuming for your stay. Own bathroom as well. Consumable for food and drinks as well. If you're nice, anyone will be nice as well. If you're shitty, then you'll probably get the same treat as well.

Its a nice karaoke place. Its located inside the mall. We went in through thei grocery area. Kinda weird but when you get inside the 3rd floor you'll walk through a big dining area looks like place for big events like wedding. The lobby to the karaoke place have some free bites like fruits and random snacks. Its very spacious and full of fun because it has its own mini stage, lots of tv screen around 3 in the room we had. When you need to call the waiter you can just push a button provided in the room and food was good. Lots of selections and drinks too. The only thing that I really didn't like is the bathroom, its so stinky. They should clean it propely. I hears from my friend it cost around $68 per hour consumable then if you have some special ocassion like birthday you can add $50 for the decoration and it looks really nice. With balloons and sign for the birthday girl. Place for party! I'll recommend to my friends who loves karaoke.

Third floor in the New World Mall. Very modern interior. Servers were pretty nice. Our room was huge and quite well equipped. Food and drink were mediocre, just like all KTVs in China. I am very grateful to have such an authentic ktv in NYC. This place is much better than the one in Chinatown.

How I would have found this place on my own I have no idea. Luckily I was with a group of friends that led the way through a mall, up an escalator, through a kitchen(?), through a banquet hall.. suddenly the hallway transforms into a kaleidoscope of different textures, colors, lights when I realize we've arrived at the Real KTV. Everyone must present ID to enter and no outside alcohol (they charge extra). Not sure of the different size rooms, but ours was made for ~20 people. It was a cool space with large comfy couches. Large TVs. Two touchscreens (no waiting) to queue the videos. Private bathroom. There was faint smell of cigarettes, but there was a timed air freshener that was a bit intense. There is some strange economy going on with everything on the menu is included up to the total price of the room. You can of course go over and be charged accordingly. It seems structured to control the alcohol consumption so folks don't get out of control (Perhaps a good thing). Service at a touch of a button. I didn't like that you couldn't control the temp of the room - it got too warm and stuffy at times. The bathroom had no paper towels. It was tough for me to navigate the touchscreens since there was no English option. There were many songs/artists I couldn't find, but then again they are not catering to my tastes. Overall, I had a lot of fun. I liked the wireless mics so many of us can sing at once, or we can let the real performers in our group shine solo. We had 4 hours in the room, I felt like I landed from a crazy Karaoke planet when I left for the night. The exit was through a large service elevator completing the hidden backroom feeling of this place.

The Real KTV is where all your American Idol dreams come true. Our group of 10 wandered in on a Saturday afternoon to escape the oppressive NY heat. Unfortunately, all the VIP rooms were booked, but what WAS available was 10x better!!!! This room was so large, it was practically an auditorium. Along the perimeter of the walls were these throne-looking love seats that in any other setting would have been tacky. Here, they made us feel like royalty. Each seat could have easily fit 3-4 tushes but since there were only 10 of us, we each claimed our own for the heck of it. The stage at the front of the room reminded me of a DDR floor. This was poised in front of a huge flatscreen with extra TVs on the remaining 3 walls. On top of that, the stage came with its own standing microphone. This was not just your typical poetry-slam mic either! It was more of a vintage Elvis Presley style mic. Super sleek and super rad. As if all that weren't enough, our "room" had it's VERY OWN BATHROOM. This was the icing on the cake. Private room AND restroom??? What a premier experience. There were plenty of American songs available and their song selection system was super easy to use. Moreover, every $1 spent on the room charges was applicable as credits towards their expansive menu!!! Incredible! I've never been at a karaoke place with THIS many perks. Because of this deal, we didn't mind too much about having to pay extra (~$80/hr) for this upgraded VIP room. With our credit, we tried a bunch of dishes--fried chicken, BBQ squid, gyoza, mango pizza, fried tofu...it was all pretty good. To top it off, they have an amazing wait policy. If your party ends up waiting more than 10 minutes, you are granted a free fruit platter. Ours was devoured instantly. I can't commend this place enough. What an awesome way to beat the heat while making memories!

First thing to note is the mandatory 18% tip regardless of how poor the service may be, WHICH IT WAS. Contract is NOT clear and was modified after it was signed!!! You must stay for two-hour intervals, and they will not allow for one-hour intervals. Workers are completely unreasonable. You must pay the full price for two hours even if you stay for less. Prices are outrageous, as after 7pm the hourly fee is doubled. We had planned to stay from 5:30 to 6:30pm and confirmed with staff beforehand that we would only be staying for one hour. Another staff brought a contract and made us sign it without telling us that we needed to stay for two hours rather than one. Later they modified the contract writing two hours in pen on the bottom of it after it was signed, even though we had intended to stay for one. At the end of the first hour, we called in room service for the bill of $40 as agreed as we stayed for only one hour prior to 7pm. However, the workers said that we must stay for two hours until 7:22pm, therefore charging us an additional fee of double the hourly rate for the 22 minutes after 7pm. This place should be shut down!

PLEASE DO NOT GO - I used to regular this place and would have given it a 4 or 5. But after tonight, I'll never go again. Employee screaming and not letting me or my friends leave the establishment due to paying $50 tip vs $58 recommended tip. Reason being the service was poor, as the staff didn't place half our order and wanted to charge for tap WATER (apparently only comes hard liquor). This tip concern became a yelling battle when two employees (in photos) didnt let me leave and blocked me with their bodies between two employees and the security guard. Watch the employee repeatedly scream at my girlfriend who was trying to deescalate and leave. The security guard was helpful, but clearly is aware of this 'habit' of people not being able to leave by simple "blocking" tactics be the staff. If they aren't fired, then this is intentional; check your cameras to see yourself. Thanks, but no thanks.

This is the best karaoke bar I've ever been to! It's on the top floor of a shopping complex in the back of a gilded banquet hall that is bustling with business meetings. I think a sweet sixteen was happening when three of my friends and I popped in sans reservation. It was truly so glamorous yet simultaneously weird. We got a huge room which had is own bathroom! It also had two handheld microphones and one of those elevated old fashioned stand mics you see at jazz clubs. There's a button you can press to summon someone to take your drink order. The walls are thin enough so you can hear other parties inexplicably singing along to Wildcard by KSHMR. There are actually a lot of EDM options like Call Me a Spaceman by Hardwell which would shock me if someone picked but if they wanted to they could. They also had a song called One Two Buckle My Shoe which sounded intriguing and we queued it up but didn't end up getting to it. Some of the songs had weird background videos, like Mambo #5 which featured a music video of a woman in a gingham romper walking on a train track. Their virtual songbook is quite extensive though, and pretty up to date. My only complaint is that in their huge songbook that you can only search by the title and not the artist, they did not have the song Modern Love by David Bowie or Buy U A Drank by T-Pain.

I realize that there was not a lot post about the decorations they offer for birthday events. It is $50 for decoration and I have to admit, it was really nice!! There were balloons (pink and white) all over the floor, some floating some floating mid-air, balloons all over the wall, and on the table, there were artificial rose petals and a light up Happy Birthday sign. This is perfect if you don't have time, or even throwing a surprise party (which in my case, worked out). The waiter Wren (I think that's how you spell his name) was amazing. Really took his time with this large group. It's difficult when you deal with adults and even much harder when it's a large group of 30!!! So I definitely give him props for being so patient!!! The place is clean and everyone was very professional.

The front desk is courteous and polite and she accommodated is very quickly. My friends and I came on a rainy Saturday afternoon for some fun karaoke. The rooms are spacious and they have good Chinese song collections. The server came quickly with our orders. I can't wait to go back again soon.

FANCY KARAOKE NIGHTS Came here with family after dinner and it exceeded my expectations of KTV places. Everything was extremely fancy and outdone with decorations. They had balloons hanging everywhere. Just being here and singing made it feel fancy as if you were famous or something LOL. They also had a good selection of songs, both old & new from this year, also ranging in all genres from Chinese to Korean to English. You also get $30 credit per an hour that you can spend on food/drinks. I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back. You do have to show ID if you plan on drinking. Our group had minors so we had to let them know we didn't plan on ordering any alcoholic drinks.

My fiancé called to inquire about pricing and reservations. He was told before 7 he again asked if he arrived before 7pm it is $20 an hour. She again confirms the information and he makes the reservation. We get there at 6:45pm and are now being told it's $40 an hour. We can't even find the person that made our reservation. We left to Astoria karaoke shout always a good time!

So this is my 2nd time here because well everyone deserves 2nd chances. This time for my teenager and 4 of her friends. I called several times prior to to go over and confirm details ie pricing, room details and decorations ($50 extra). Each conversation was a challenge as they do not speak English well. My reservation was from 7-9pm on a Saturday but I tried to change it to 6-8pm 2 days prior because the prices goes from $20 to $38/hr for the medium sized room after 8pm (note it's supposed to have a stage). This was to no avail as I was told the medium rooms were booked. Fast fwd we arrive with no hiccups finding the place this time! As soon as we reach the booth the guy tells me they need to check our bags to make sure we're not bringing anything in. I told him I've been here before and wasn't asked that. Hmm ok awkward and upsetting to say the least as an adult with kids. I didn't get into it with him because it was my daughter's day but as a side note I really hope this is something they do with everyone! I go check the room before my daughter comes in. It's small. Good thing more kids weren't coming. I pass a nice big unoccupied room and asked if it was a medium room. I was told it was but it was booked. They explained our room was smaller because it had a bathroom. Didn't ask for it and honestly we could have done without it. The stage was small too. Not sure it should be called a stage. The decorations did not look as nice in person as they do in pics. The lighting helps but what can I say it was convenient. I didn't like that they collected the decoration fee upfront in another very awkward manner. Perhaps they've had issues with people but they should tell you when you're making the reservation. Another concern that I tried to express over the phone was what I experienced my 1st visit was using the karaoke machine that's in Chinese. I didn't want to waste our paid time trying to navigate it like before. I was told that if an ipad was available it was as simple as scanning the bar code. Well today it figures the ipad wasn't working and it took 30 minutes for them to come to that conclusion. Fortunately one of my daughter's friends was able to understand how the machine worked and we had no issues after that. We had the room for 2 hours but the kids were getting thirsty and hungry. I asked for a pitcher of water but they tried to sell me bottled waters until I gave them an eye and a smile. I then looked at the menu for food and knew we'd have to wrap up early (see pic). I asked for the check which is in another language and had to ask for help understanding the charges. Wasn't happy with the overall time there and paid feeling some kinda way. Didn't help that as I walked around there were plenty of other rooms available including the one I asked about. All in all my daughter and her friends had a good time and that helps but I really want to like this place but I can't seem to. It's overpriced. Maybe it works out when it's a large group and the bill is split. Don't think I'll be back.

They opened up again! this place used to be called the one. The location is super convenient and their happy hour price is great. It's $10 for a small room that fits 2-5. I love the decor in the rooms, really fancy. You can get dim sum and then go sing your heart out. It's right inside new world mall, just go to the third floor and walk towards the right. They open after 1pm. In terms of the sound system, it's not the best in flushing but it's decent. Oh and the usual, you can order food/drinks from the room fee. I didn't get to order much, but the milk tea I got was pretty good.

10/10, would try to drunkenly leave without crashing into tables again. The Real Ktv is a nicely decorated, trendy ktv place. They have a lot of the new English popular songs, something a couple of the other popular ktv spots in flushing don't have. We reserved a VIP room, one with a bathroom (that was really nice), so I can't speak for the rest of the premises. The vip room was really really nice! It had 2 TVs to make sure you can follow along the lyrics to not make a fool of yourself and an old school form microphone so you can dance like the Weeknd in Can't Feel my Face and make a fool of yourself anyway. The wonky part of the place is that it's inside the dimsum restaurant, inside a mall. Both of those close waaaaaay before the KtV does so it just feels funny. But usually you'll be too tipsy to care. Don't bump the tables on the way out! :)

You'll have to sign a waiver for a private room, but at $20 per hour for a large room, we didn't mind signing our souls away! Great selection of music and the interior design is out of this world! The standing mic is a nice added touch. The bathrooms are pristine, and they had complimentary water and almond cookies by the check in desk. Probably my go-to spot in Queens for karaoke! Also your room fee gets you a $20 credit for drinks! My only con is that one Tsingtao costs $7 so you hit that mark quickly.

Told us that the room charge would be credited toward alcohol. We booked 2 hours, which would have been an $80 credit according to what they told us upon entering. We ordered a drink that was $98, and they said because it was more than $80, we wouldn't get any credit. Pretty shady. Will not be coming back.

This KTV spot is located on the top floor of the New World Mall - head to the dimsum place and walk straight to the corner (sometimes there are no signs...) I've been here several times and it's best when it's weekday afternoon - $12/hr/pp! All-inclusive of food and drinks, but of course one milk tea is already like $9, just like any other KTV places in Flushing. Very extravagant looking inside. I like their sound system and the mic stand they have in their rooms! Makes you feel like a star. They only speak Mandarin, and the song menu is on a digital screen in Chinese. Food is not great here, but there's always the food court downstairs!

Bait and switch...this is your chance to be an educated customer and avoid this place unless you like this type of treatment.

Clean and well kept KTV within New World Mall. Their rooms look like they may be due for some repairs (the seats were cracking and ripped) and everything smells of cigarettes. The sound system is decent and all the mics worked. Our group consisted of mostly English speakers who don't read or sing Chinese, so it was a bit hard to navigate the song selection screen which is only written in Chinese. The song selection for English songs were pretty limited too. Food and drinks are included in the price of the room. Alcohol makes everyone a better singer. Overall, still a decent experience compared to competitors in the area.

By far the worst karaoke experience I've had in a long time. The rooms are super nice, but you'll struggle in every other aspect of your evening. Service? Staff rarely come to the room even when you ask to order. We asked for a handful of Budweiser thinking the infrequency was the sole barrier. They brought back a variety of beer. Literally couldn't even bring our group Budweiser correctly. The staff are of zero help with the user interface. The interface is primarily in a language other than English. The English aspects are extremely cumbersome to navigate. So, this place has cool looking rooms but little else to offer customers. Edit: Management called me and offered us a $100 credit to use there. My NYC friends had such a bad experience that they STILL do not want to return, and I live in DC so I have zero reason to go without them.

Very good service and great vibes for large party. Food was okay, and bottle service was good. Had the VIP suite for 25 guests and we were all comfortable. Decorations were amazing

Came here on a Saturday night for KTV. There's chips in the waiting area but you're not allowed to bring it into your rooms.. I didn't like that but I guess it's how the business gets you to order food. For 2 hours, I think the rates were around 40 an hour for a room that fits 6-10 people. However, since our party ordered two bottles of Hennesey, our bill came to $55 x 8 split among 8 people but we also stayed for 3 hours or so. If you're here to KTV and don't care much about food, this is perfect. I really wanted beef tendon but it wasn't on their menu.. maybe they'll add it in the future? The sound system is really good and there's even a microphone in the front for a retro kind of feel. However, one drawback is the menu was completely in Chinese so you might struggle a bit like we did if you don't read chinese. The attendants are happy to help if you do need assistance. Dices are also available on the shelves for games though I wish they also had cards. This KTV lounge is on the list of my few go to's if I'm in flushing. It's clean, spacious, and has good service but if I also care about food on that night, I'd probably head over to Zebra.

Went with a group of 20 on a Saturday night. The room was nice and spacious with a private bathroom. The high cost of drinks and food is expected but sadly the cocktails were not tasty and there was barely any alcohol. Options were extremely limited, no bottles of rum available and no real mixers besides orange juice. A small bottle of water was $8. Everyone complained about song choice selection. Not many current songs, they need to expand their options. Service was poor to fair, definitely slow. He was nice but I had to constantly step outside to place an order or look for our waiter to remind him about the drinks we ordered. As the host I spent most of the night just stepping outside for service and didn't get to enjoy the evening. Our group made the best of it and still had a good time but will probably go elsewhere in the future.

Well-run spot with a distinct overseas feel. Yes, you have to go through the restaurant if taking the escalators up New World Mall. Food and drink deductible from room cost. Definitely a place a cut above the NY karaoke field

One of the few trustee spots for ktv in flushing; clean, classy, and ultimate service. A plus for having a huge song selection! Some rooms are equipped with a stand up mic (v nice touch). Booking a room was easy breezy; the front desk speaks both Chinese and English. After booking, they will spam you with a few confirmation texts and your done! **BTW this is a 21 and up place** You will not be able to order drinks if not everyone in your party is 21.

This place is always fully booked, so for the love of all that is good, please make sure to call and book a room a day or so ahead of time! If you want to KTV during the afternoon, don't expect to waltz in at 12:50 and wait for them to open, you'll get stuck with their party room or something-- because that's usually what they have left. And as for the night time, forget it, every place will be fully booked. I have had my share of experiences here. I have been here when the mall first opened up (and when this place was subsequently shut down at first for lack of liquor license), I have been here in the afternoon, I have been here at night, and I have been to their VIP room-- all exciting stuff. I particularly like this location due to their presentation, everything looks new and great. I also like the sound system here, as well as how updated their song selection is (not so much so for English songs, but I don't mind). There is also a personal bathroom within each KTV group room, which I think is standard for a KTV place (min. large I guess). You are also given a credit for ordering food/drinks based on the amount you are paying for the room multiplied by the hours you stay. So if you have a room for $15 an hour for 2 hours, you can order $30 worth of food and drinks off the menu. This is actually standard practice for all KTV places in Flushing, and as a result, they also hike up the menu prices so that you're really only able to get about 3 drinks or maybe 2 drinks and a small dish with the credit (again, it's like that everywhere). This will always be my #1 choice-- it looks good (no ripped up furniture, broken equipment, etc.), the prices are fair, and the service is fairly good (ordered a pot of tea and asked for a bunch of refills).
