The Rec Room

I've been here for a few bands. Sound and lighting is amazing. There have been alot of big bands that have played here. Worth checking out.

My wife and I were going to a fundraiser at The Recher, an event venue on York Rd. in Towson. We hadn't had dinner. The organizers told us that we could go nextdoor to The Rec Room, order food to go, and bring it back into The Recher. This is a review of The Rec Room. The Rec Room is a sports bar that also serves American and Mexican adjacent cuisine. My wife had steak quesadilla and sweet potato fries. I had blackened salmon soft tacos and a salad. All were delicious. The venue is neat and clean. There are plenty of TV screens showing sports. Service was friendly and efficient. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Parking is paid street parking and a public lot around the corner, paid until 6pm, then free after 6.

Nice little spot before going to a venue at the Recher. We ordered a drink, some cheeseburger sliders and crabby tots. Omgoodness, so good and a huge portion. Prices are reasonable too. If you get a chance, stop by and try it!

After returning to this bar after a year or so- it was such a pleasant surprise to see that this location has really taken pride in its reputation as an establishment for minors. What a joy it was to find that it was multiple high schools 'Senior Night' while chatting with 17 year olds. The upmost class from this place, as always

This place is always great. Bartenders and servers here are like family. The food is always phenomenal. The owners are really cool and you can tell they actually give a shit about what they do. Plus the music scene is always cool. People over 30 kind of avoid this place becaus3 they think of it as a college bar. Go. Get some food. Have a beer. Watch the game and hang with the staff. Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

BEWARE: UNDERAGE INFESTED PLAYGROUND This establishment lets in MINORS. Why was I sitting next to a drunk 17 YEAR OLD female who couldn’t even stand herself up without her 18 YEAR OLD friends help? DISGUSTING!!! THE OWNERS AND BOUNCERS NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED.

Anytime me my boys need a good time we go to Rec Room, never disappoints!

Awesome place to grab some great food and drinks. Great atmosphere!! Definitely recommend. They also have a concert theater next door. So, if the show is not sold out you can buy a ticket and see a live show on Fri-Sun.
