The Red Hen

First timers to this adorable spot after visiting an nearby attraction. The atmosphere was cool, inviting, spacious, and welcoming. The staff was very kind. Although a couple of the items we ordered were no longer available but still on the menu(waitress said it wasn’t updated yet) the items we did order were fresh, aesthetically pleasing and packed with flavor. The flavor combinations are on point. The menu has a crowd pleasing selection. The outdoor seating available makes the entrance more inviting. We will certainly be back! And thanks to Maddie that was our super sweet waitress.

We went there Friday before Labor Day. First time there and will definitely be back. The food was amazing! We ordered pretzels, which were home made and the size of rolls (never had pretzels so fresh). They came with beer cheese (so good) and mustard. We also enjoyed the Italian pizza - (SO flavorful and the dough is made from scratch) and the short rib sandwich (melted in your mouth). We were so full, we unfortunately couldn’t try dessert. Prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality of food. Service was excellent. We had a seasoned server along with a trainee - both were great. The Chef came out to greet us and ask how everything was. It was a 10 from start to finish… can’t wait to go back!

Very beautiful place, our server Shelby was amazing, on point with time, our orders and always making sure everything was to our liking. The food was amazing vwry tasty.

We had an incredible experience thanks to our server, Ben. From start to finish, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable. His recommendation was absolutely perfect – it made the meal even more memorable. Ben went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit. Five stars all the way!

Excuse me!!! TORI is the bomb dot com. She is the best. She is so caring and engaging. Communication was awesome when we ran into confusion with the menu. She recommended the real crab fries. Whewwww they were good. If you’re going anytime soon she will give you the best experience!!

My husband and I stopped by this restaurant on our drive home and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious!

The Red Hen is a great place for a meal. It’s a large restaurant, with a full bar and delicious food. The drinks were well made and generous. Our waitress was very attentive, the food came out quickly, and as ordered. Large family with kids at a nearby table had a great time and their monster cookie with ice cream looked delicious - we had the bread pudding for dessert, and it was delicious. The restaurant is very manageable and accessible. There are steps leading up to the bar (from the restaurant side), but one could wheel in they the bar’s front door. There are tables outside as well (in front and at the back). Clean, large bathrooms. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot.

Low key obsessed with this place. Love the multiple menu options for when I’m feeling like something healthy or when I’m ready to indulge in some top notch bar food. The chickpea kale dish keeps me coming back and their Blk Shp cocktail is a great variation on an old fashioned that is smooth, light and citrusy. Love the 90’s rock playing and the bartenders are working hard yet still attentive.
