So beautiful! Love the space and casual atmosphere. Not too busy but also not a ghost town. Coffee is tasteful. I got an oatmeal crème pie cookie. It was the best I’ve ever had. The baristas were awesome. Nothing special but did what they were supposed to do.

Absolutely adore this place. Talk about a classy look with a modern vibe. This place is sheik! I love the different choices, the cool process and plentiful options. Have been coming to the Ferndale location and honestly you can’t go wrong no matter which location you choose to go to. Definitely have made trips out of the way to come here and soak in the vibe for a moment. The coffee and food options are always made to perfection I have never had a bad experience here and you get what you pay for. Want great coffee served by attractive people with awesome personalities? want home made breakfast options like a hand made pop-tart? Want to eat a delicious delicate item in front of a beautiful view of midtown? Get hooked at The Red Hook, you won’t regret it.

Large space with seating inside as well as outdoor seating on nice days. The space is large where it can probably be used for events. The staff was very nice and let me take time to decide on what to order.

(Plant-based Reviewer) LOVE this place! Definitely my go-to coffee shop when I'm in town. I had an oat milk latte and it was not only beautiful, but delicious. The Barista's actually seem like they enjoy their job and it makes for a great atmosphere and great service. They even have multiple vegan pastries to choose from! Kudos for setting the example of what an awesome coffee shop is supposed to be!

Oat milk vanilla latte for the win! Not to mention a savory jalapeño scone (warmed, obvs), a rosemary shortbread cookie with the perfect amount of flaked salt on top, and a ginger molasses cookie I can’t wait to get again.

The Red Hook has always been one of my favorite coffee shops in Detroit, and their midtown location is my go-to for working while travelling. Usually, they have a decent amount of vegan baked goods, but they only had two on the day I visited and none that were good "breakfast" options. PS - it would be awesome if you could carry agave as a sweetener option!

Adorable place!!!! The decor, even the bathrooms are SO CUTE. I got a mocha and it was good, more foam on top than I'm used to but still good. Bought some strawberry sprinkle shorties for me and my daughter and they were amazing. My friend ordered the quiche and she said it was delicious. Definitely want to come back!
