For those seeking the unexpected, The Red Museum is a nonprofit venue spotlighted by KQED Arts and Sacramento Magazine for its daring music, art, and performance events. Housed in a former warehouse, it’s become a launchpad for emerging artists, experimental musicians, and eclectic happenings. The ever-changing lineup makes every visit a new adventure, reflecting Sacramento’s spirit of reinvention and risk-taking.
The best diy event venue in sac! So many interesting artists and events have come through here, I absolutely adore this place! It really brings a sense of community to Sacramento 🖤🫶

Paid extra to sit in the risers expecting to get a better view of the stage. The lawn seating has a superior view of the stage. Our riser seats had 2 rows of chairs, so we had to move a lot to see past the heads of the people in front of us.
It was a mediocre experience.
I would sit on the grass, pay less and see more.

It's a fun place to go and listen to great music buy local and traveling bands who are trying to make it in the music scene. We enjoy listening to original music by artist who are still at the grassroots stage of their career.

It's a great DIY venue for a musical group to play and an art exhibition, located near other art platforms.
