Found this place by accident and was super glad that I found this gem! Dined alone and enjoyed the quite on the outside patio! I did get there as the kitchen was about to close, But they were very accommodating to allow me to order as I already knew what I wanted from looking at the menu from the parking lot. I ordered the Crab Deviled eggs, Reel crab dip and bang bang shrimp! Everything was amazing! Highly recommend! Service was fast and friendly!

We stopped at Reel Inn on a whim because the weather was too beautiful not to sit outside, and it ended up being our favorite meal of the trip! Tucked bayside in the Harbour Island Association complex, the vibe was lowkey with a gorgeous view. Our server Natalie was super friendly, and everything we ordered was excellent, the mozzarella sticks were classic but perfectly cooked, the Assawoman combo (scallops, shrimp, and tuna bites) was outstanding, the chicken sandwich had amazing sauce, the fries were hot, the coleslaw was delicious, and the drinks were great. Truly a wonderful night, and we’d absolutely go back.

We had an amazing time when we ate here earlier this week. Beautiful view, friendly staff, amazing food. Easily one of, if not the best cheesesteaks I have ever had. This will absolutely be on our list of places for future vacations!

If you have a shellfish allergy they will not accommodate, even though they offer non shellfish options. Be aware. It’s unfortunate that someone is penalized for wanting to enjoy the White Marlin tournament but cannot enough a meal without risk of an allergic reaction. Do better Reel Inn, do better, it’s not that hard to have a separate grill and station for folks with allergies. Also hostess was rude, we get it you’re busy , no excuse for rudeness.

The Reel Inn is such a cool place located in the Harbour Inn community. The food and service is always good! They have everything from seafood, steak and a fresh catch of the day to sandwiches and various baskets. The fries are always hot and salted perfectly and the cream of crab soup is amazing! The desserts never disappoint, the key lime pie is our favorite. We usually come here a few times over the Summer and are already looking forward to our next visit!

The potatoes are done perfectly and seasoned just right. The squash and zucchini medley is perfect as well! The breadstick was so soft and done just right. Will definitely be back as this is one of our favorite restaurants in Ocean City, Maryland. This place is getting busier and busier so I would definitely call ahead for seating.

Love this place! Such a hidden gem. Service is great. Great drinks and delicious seafood! Love sitting outside with the marina view! Very family friendly.

They make an awesome orange cosmo. We are eating light Tonight! I ordered the fresh catch Blackened Halibut Sandwich and the wife wanted some Chicken Tenders with a side of fries! Our Lexi server was very friendly and attentive. This is a newer place inside the Harbor Island. This is on the Harbor side with a great view of the docks. Live music playing tonight Folk, Island Buffett style. Great first visit won't be last.

The food was amazing! It was a 5/5. However, the service was not the best. Our waitress had tables on each side of the restaurant & she was not attentive. We had to ask multiple times for refills. I don't entirely blame her because all of the waitresses had tables in different sections.

We enjoy stopping here for happy hour every year when in Ocean City it's a cute quiet, quaint little place and right on the intercoastal

First time in OC and was looking to get away from the tourist trap, overpriced restaurants. What a lucky find this was. A true hidden gem. Inside a private community/marina. No wait. Excellent service. Food was absolutely delicious and so well priced. Started with crab dip, kids got mahi tacos, adults got crab cake sandwich and mahi sandwich. Zero complaints from this foodie family. Highly recommend!

We visited October 5th and Sierra served us food and drinks. The fashioned cocktails were delicious and the food was tasty. Reel Inn was hoping that afternoon and she kept everything flowing, with a smile on her face. Would like to come back again on our next visit to Ocean City.

I'm reluctantly giving 4 stars . We love the vibe here so would give it 5 stars for atmosphere. Drinks are excellent as well so we would give 5 stars as well. I'd give the service 4 stars - only one server and she was accommodating-. Food just 3 stars . Definitely better going with the fried stuff here. My husband and I got deviled eggs which were very tasty - just a tad too creamy for my taste . He got a Shrimp salad sandwich- an extremely generous portion- sadly his roll ( and mine ) was extremely stale . Fries were delicious. I got Fried fish sandwich which was really good except for the roll I'd definitely go back but stick to wings or appetizers.

wednesday night... bartender with pink tank top was absolutely horrific. if you work in service you should be able to give service. gave the woman infront of me drinks and could not give her any idea which was what drink and proceed to say" that's not my job i'm not drinking them," when I asked for a beer for my mother and a drink for me I was told i was lying and i wasn't here with anyone and "that she wasn't doing that it's not that kind of place" absolutely terrible experience in all aspects, working in the service industry there is absolutely no excuse for this behavior or treatment for guest. This is what you signed up to do, if you can't handle it go home and complain to your mommy, don't bring it to work

4 of us enjoyed dinner on their deck on 7-6. Service was perfect! Two of us enjoyed The best wedge salad was romaine lettuce with blackened scallops and blackened mahi. Tuna entree was very tasty The salad with mixed seafood was good but a bit spicy. Diane V

Food is okay, typical beach fare. The hosts and bartenders seem really unfriendly, but our server was great. Crushes are always good.

They would not accept my boyfriend's ID because it expired on his 29th birthday (2 days ago). The waitress (who used her fingers to count backwards a couple days) couldn't understand that his age did not expire on the date the physical license states the ID expired. Guess they don't like making money on tourists. They shouldn't want people to drink and drive. An expired license means you cannot legally drive not that you revert back to the age of someone under 21. Don't go here on your birthday.

Out of the gate, we felt unwelcome. The hostess made us feel as if a large table was an inconvenience. We were the only group to be sorted outside, and there was a 75% chance of thunderstorms. There was plenty of room inside and under the covered steering deck. Secondly, our waitress was very dismissive of us- as if we didn't belong. When we found this place and the reviews raved about this "hidden gem." We began to order our drinks, and the waitress asks for our ids. We graciously obliged. Some of us handed over our military ids, and she questioned what they were. We politely explained we were in the military. We weren't expecting any special treatment but ultimately were treated worse. Our appetizers came out, and the cheese dip had a thick skin on top, and the cheese in the middle was partially dried. Another couple ordered the calamari, and for $11, there were exactly 11 pieces. The third couple ordered the crab dip, and it mainly was mayonnaise. So much so, you could smell it when the wind would blow. When the meals came out, she arrived to ask us if we needed anything but left before we could answer. When the bill came, she dropped it off before we could ask for a split check. Only when she came with the receipt was she attentive--complementing shoes and asking if we needed anything else. I couldn't be more disappointed. I have never felt more uncomfortable and unwanted before. I can't even explain the feeling: subpar food and poor service.

Horrible! Let's start with they can't afford to supply glasses for a can of beer. This is a tourist town. in Ocean City you can get a glass in any dive bar and the Reel Inn in an upscale neighborhood give you a can of beer with no glass. Waitress rude and obnoxious! Food well the David eggs had very little eggs , it did have some crab meat. If you want a really bad time in Ocean City well I highly recommend that you will have a real bad time at The Reel Inn

Save your time and money! Very slow service, very poor quality of food. Crab dip disgusting, pretzel tasted old Shrimp salad served in side dish plate barely any lettuce and shrimp tasted old. Why not serve on a regular plate add couple slices of freaking tomato for the $12 charged? Not even a mouthful of iceberg lettuce included. Ordered grouper sandwich, the mini bun used and bag of potato chips?? This place is all about the regular customers. There were so many issues we decided they weren't worth our complaints to management and I don't think they would care. Felt sorry for the waitress, still tipped her adequately. She is as good as training she received.

Got here for their grand opening of the season. The drinks were spot on, the staff was extremely kind & attentive. The food was incredible. We had the sampler with scallops, tuna steak & steamed shrimp, followed by their crab cake sandwich. Everything was perfectly marinated, & cooked,...needless to say we didn't leave anything on our plates. It was one of the best crab cakes I've ever had in the area, hands down. The set up is casual, approachable & relaxed. It's a smaller space, as it's usually only available for the residents within the property it seems (although it's open to the public), so I imagine it can get very crowded during regular season. I cannot wait to come back for drinks & more tasty food!

This place was just ok. I found it on Yelp when we were on the boardwalk, and it looked like it was right on the water so we thought we'd walk over to get away from the crowds a bit. Well, it technically is on water, but it's on a small harbor that appears to just be an area for the condo residents to park their boats. It was nice, but there are much better views elsewhere. I don't see any reason to walk all the way over here for a meal if you are not staying nearby. The food was fine, though nothing special. I had the soft shell crab sandwich, and my husband had a crab cake sandwich. You have to request any condiments or toppings for the sandwiches, which means you have to guess how your food will taste with whatever you've chosen - they basically just throw the seafood on a basic grocery store bun and then you decide what you think will go best with it. It comes with a bag of potato chips. Maybe I'm being overly critical, but we went to another restaurant later that night that served the same items but we're paired with more high quality accompaniments and obviously had more thought put into the overall dish, for about the same price, so this place seemed less exciting in comparison. I wouldn't say to stay away if this place is convenient for you, but I think there are better options in Ocean City.

It's Saturday around 4:30 pm and my group is choosing a place to dine for dinner. Reel Inn seems promising so I call and speak with Teresa who mentions call ahead was already full, but she graciously adds our party of 3 to the list and lets me know we might have to wait a bit for our 7:30 reservation. Reel Inn is in the middle of a residential area so it was a little interesting finding the restaurant. Arrived at 7:30 for our reservation and were asked to make ourselves comfortable with a drink order until our table was ready. I ordered an orange crush (strong)! Our table was ready at 8. I ordered a double reel crab cake dinner (to share) which came with brocollini and mashed potatoes. The crab cake was ABSOLUTELY mouthwatering delicious! I typically do not order crab cake due to my past experiences with finding bits of cartridge and shell (immediately losing my appetite) but I was craving seafood and I am so happy I went with their crab cake dinner. The crab was meaty, soft, solid crab meat, just the best I've had. Their house sauce was spicy so I did not use it. We were seated next to the band/double doors so it was pretty loud and talk amongst the table, but the singer/musician duo were fantastic!

OMG! This restaurant food is terrible & overpriced. $35 for a brisket sandwich with just a tiny bit of meat, a side basic wilted salad and a kids grilled cheese your 3 year old can do a better job making. The cook needs to be drawn & quartered for what was offered for the price. How does this restaurant even stay in business and justify the crap food that is offered. Don't believe the positive reviews and avoid this place at all cost until there is new management or a new owner. Yuck! I still have the bad taste of the food in my mouth. Yuck!!

A decent dockbar to come to in the summer time or to watch The White Marlin Open. Nestled in a little community that you wouldn't know it was there unless you were in the know! Food was great along with the drinks and has a full bar you can sit around and look at the million dollar fishing boats sitting on the bayside. Service is always good as well!

After spending an arduous day of housing round after round of drinks at Seacrets, the figurative bar for dinner was set extraordinarily low. In fact, that bar was actually set by the Bachelor in the party at "food." So I used my quick fingers and Yelp due diligence to find a place by the name of Blu Crabhouse And Raw Bar and booked a reservation for 12 @ 7:30pm. It was close to 7:10 when I made my way over to the Bacheor's hotel room to find half of our 12 person party unshowered, unkept, and partially undressed. But that wasn't the issue that deserved the most attention. The most critical issue was that the future-groom himself lie next-to lifeless on the bed, virtually unwakeable and fully unprepared; a dilemma that was promptly solved by the quick application of ice to his bare and uncovered feet. By the time I was able to organize and prep the motley crew of gentleman- I had to cancel the reservation at Blu Crabhouse & Raw Bar... which I can only say now was a blessing in disguise. It was not until I found myself in the lobby of the hotel with 90 percent of the party, that I did a search by current location on the hotel and found Reel Inn Restaurant And Dock Bar. 42 reviews with 4 stars you say? I called up the restaurant and was greeted by a man with a kind voice, "Hey there! How long would the wait be for a table of 12?" I asked. "OH, I could seat you!" he replied. "Ok, great! We'll be over in 10 minutes" That was too easy... I said to myself. There are few reasons why a restaurant wouldn't be packed in Ocean City on a Saturday night during the summer. 1. The customer service and food are both equally atrocious and the entire community knows it. 2. A very large reservation just cancelled, and they have a lot of open tables. 2. The restaurant is so hidden that no one knows about it. Thankfully, the reason the restaurant was so empty on this Saturday night was because it is located in the back depths of a gated condo community that sits directly on the bay at 14th street. Not only is it hidden in Ocean City itself, it's hidden IN THE CONDO COMMUNITY. It doubly hidden. It pretty much exists in the spacial fractures of time and space in a planet outside of this galaxy. Sorry... I've been watching Star Trek Voyager recently. When you're walking up to the restaurant, you're not even sure it is a restaurant, cause it has the appearance of a nice clubhouse sitting next to the central condo community's pool. There's not really an entrance with a hostess stand.. so just come in through the bar and someone will come up to you and help ya out. Which is one of the many reasons that Reel Inn is so special. The other reasons... 1. The food is freakin' delicious 2. The service is friendly and down to earth 3. Most of the restaurant exists outside with a backdrop of 300K+ Yachts 4. The whole operation seems family run 5. Did I mention the food is freakin' delicious For appetizers, we started with the Tuna Bites, Old Bay Chicken Wings, Crab Dip, and shrimp. The Crab Dip was well seasoned, warm, served in bread bowl with an adequate amount of crab. The old bay chicken wings rival some of the best wings I've had. The meat was super tender fall of the bone perfection, housed inside of a wonderfully crispy outer shell. The Tuna Bites ( served medium-rare. something I'm not used to) were my favorite app. The size of the bites justified the extra cooking time, and the sauce, wasabi, ginger, and seaweed salad were clean and light enough to perfectly compliment the fish. For my entree, I ordered the Reel Crab Cakes. The crab cakes were baseball sized rounds of lump crab meat. The dish was 28 dollars. But I kid you not; I almost felt uncomfortable eating them as I felt like I was partially robbing the restaurant. I'll be honest, it takes ALOT of crab to fill me up. Usually when I do all-you-can-eat pick & eat style crabs, I just get tired and give up. I'm usually bleeding from some several parts of my hands that are inevitably salt-filled with Old Bay packed into the wounds, and the novelty of picking has completely worn off and I give up. These crab cakes had so much crab that I was uncomfortably full from eating both of them. I wasn't gonna waste any piece of a crab cake though... it's against my religion. But seriously, I could have gone without apps and just had the crab cakes and been set. I love how a little teriyaki sauce mix was thrown on the rice- though the rice did taste a little "one-minute-ish". The green beans were also lacking a little something. Maybe a char or some garlic/butter. But the crab cakes were perfection. Pure unadulterated numerous ounces of lump crab meat. The owner came over and thanked me for calling them up and bringing everyone over to Reel Inn. Just the cherry on top of the whole awesome meal. I can't wait to go back. If I lived in Ocean City, I would surely be a regular.

This is a hidden gem in OCMD. A little difficult to find, but once you are there, a great place for food. The tuna was delicious! Surrounded by large fishing boats, this must be where the marlin fishers hang. A great chill vibe with old school rock tunes played into the evening while we dinned on the covered patio on a Thursday evening around 9:00pm. Casual environment with good service and a great menu.

Our annual stop here was just as good as all the others. The bartender was friendly, and the old bay wings were big and crispy.

This place ain't it. The staff is very unwelcoming and the bar is about the size of porta John. Good Luck order anything in there. If you're in town just go to fish tales or any neighboring bar for drinks/food. You will get better serve and better quality of food. And you won't need to deal with the assholes representing ocean city md.

What a horrible experience. Based on the high reviews of this establishment my family decided to come here. It was our last night in town and we were celebrating a birthday. Again, based on the previous reviews his seemed like a nice restaurant with great outdoor seating. We were a group of 10 that had a reservation for 7:30pm. Everyone in our group was traveling from Bethany Beach so due to traffic we didn't arrive and get officially seated until 8. The only positive thing I can say about the service is that they held our table and seated us as soon as we walked in. What seemed like at least 10-15 min later our waitress arrived to tale our drink order and that was when I put my kids food orders in as well with the hope and expectation that as soon as the food was cooked it would come out. Drink order placed, kids meal order placed.. at least 15 minutes later our waitress came back around to deliver our drinks and take our food order... once she walked away time started ticking... and ticking.. and ticking... after waiting at least 45 min my father got up to go use the bathroom and saw our waitress asking her what's going on with the food... especially the kids meal bc they were starving. She gave some lame excuse about how "ticket went into the kitchen and they cook based on the order it was received..". I can tell you right now that is BS bc there was a large table next to us and in front of us (2 separate tables) that both sat down after us, got their food, ate it and left before we got ours. An hour later... 9pm was when they brought my son's hotdog which was burnt to a crisp. My daughter had to wait an extra few min bc she ordered chicken tenders and apparently the frier was backed up. Now my mother and I ordered chips and salsa as an app... that didn't arrive until 8:55. My father ordered an app that was a clams special ... his came even later then the chips and salsa. Also, when the specials were read to us the clams were supposed to have toasted bread to soak up all the garlicky sauce... umm when it came out there was no bread. Also - photo time stamp shows it arrived at 9:35pm We asked our waitress again where was our food and she said the same thing she told my dad "the kitchen cooks in the order the tickets were received". I call BS. As it was getting closer to 10pm I was tempted to go to the kitchen and pull a Gordon Ramsey "WHERES THE BLOODY FOOD???" Finally the food arrived at 9:40' (I know the exact time bc I took pics of a few plates, good old smart phones and their time stamps.) A number of ppl ordered a $30 Filet Mignon Med Rare... one person ordered his steak Medium. As everyone cut into their steak they could tell right away it wasn't MR, it was M. Most of the steaks were tough and my 91 year old grandfathers piece of steak was SO tough that he couldn't eat it. We complained to the waitress and she offered to remove his steak from the bill... that's the least they could have done. We should have all gotten free desserts to make up for the 2 hours meal wait. ...I ordered he Captain's something meal which consisted of 3 scallops, garlicky shrimp and a crab cake. The scallops were cooked perfectly. My shrimp were all over cooked and tasted like rubber balls and the crab cake was too rich for me. I ended up giving it to my husband. Side note - the starch was rice and the vegetable of the day was string beans with cherry tomatoes... that looked and tasted like something you'd get in a NY diner. Nothing exciting at all. Trying to get the check and get out of there was another joke. We didn't leave until 10:15. Totally not worth the money or hungry belly...

Finding this place wasn't easy. I walked around the entire condo complex looking for this joint and my wife was damn near ready to cut me. But we did find it and I'm glad we did. The place looked fun and the food was spectacular. My wife said the crab cakes were the best she ever had. I had the fish tacos and the cream of crab soup and they were both amazeballs. The service was good and the food came out very quickly even though the place was packed. I'd totally come back now that I know where it is.

It's the beach, it's the height of the tourist season, it's straight off the SYSCO truck. The burgers were good; then....the Chicken Chesapeake Wrap had 3 small strips of chic, maybe a tablespoon of crab dip. The 3 shrimp tacos had 6 medium, unseasoned shrimp, cold taco shells, and, at best, 1/4 cup of bland salsa, shredded cheese, quac & sour cream. It's a bar, in a marina.....don't get reeled in.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The bar tender brooks made the best drink of my life and prevented a boat accident at the same time. Get this man a cape.

Food was fresh and drinks were amazing! This place also had a fun and relaxing atmosphere by the water.

It is such a shame that a restaurant that serves such delicious food can't get its act together and provide friendly service. It appears that some of the issues, at least in the bar area, stem from a veteran bartender - she may be a manager - who cultivates a negative environment for the servers and the guests. This establishment should be a fun spot to sit, have a drink and an appetizer, and look at the boats. Instead, it feels like everyone there is irritated. This has been a problem for several years, so it is not COVID-related. We thought we'd give it a try today to see if anything has improved. While the food is really special, the service has gotten even worse. I hope someone from the ownership/management team addresses the service problems. There are so many other waterfront restaurants in Ocean City that appreciate their customers and treat their staff well.

If your not a regular, you will not be welcomed. When I checked where we were on the wait list, I saw that several parties had been seated after I had arrived. At first I thought it was because of party size (only 2 in my party) but then learned it was a combination of issues with a hostess who didn't know what she was doing and a manager who was yelling at everyone...including me for questioning what was going on. The food is good, but the wait staff is over taxed. After waiting for our food (and water), our meal arrived cold. At 9:15om when the serving came to check on us, we let her know. An overall bad experience, but one I don't intend to repeat. Now looking at reviews, it's clear this is a locals place and outsiders are now appreciated or welcome!

Wanted to grab a Quick bite and my friend knew about this restaurant, its in a beautiful complex overlooking a dock. They drinks were amazing! I got a lemon crush in a bucket that my server had suggested, it's now my new favorite drink! My entree was Mahi tacos which my server suggested as well. I've never had Fish tacos but they were awesome. Usually restaurants only give u two tacos and the leftovers of whatever they have left over from their fresh catch but I got a whole fish and 3 soft taco shells! Our server was sydney and she was amazing! She is so cute and when she walked up she gave good vibes! She knew the whole menu front and back when I was asking about other entrees. Haven't had such a hands on server in a while! This place is definitely a locals hide out spot but If you're ever in town and want kick ass food I'd come here and request Sydney!!! Worth every penny!

5 stars for the food, drinks and service! But damn did we have a difficult time trying to to get there. Surrounded by a gated community and boats, you have to either walk there or park nearby to visit. But when you do, they have amazing Old Bay wings. The black and blue burger was really good according to the wife and I got the special, which was Fresh caught seared Tuna, veggies and garlic mashed potatoes. They have a kids menu so you can definitely bring the little ones along!Alk the food was delicious! Happy hour made the drinks and wings cheaper and everything was reasonably priced. Mary Kate was our server and she was excellent. Everyone is very polite, professional and nice. If you are in Ocean City, MD you definitely need to stop by!

So the location is perfect but sadly the food lacks in taste and is over priced. My drink a Tito's on the rocks was$15?? I'm sorry we in NYC . As for dinner the crab cakes was tasteless and dry and for one 5oz crab cake for $24 you better off to make you own. Next my fisherman filet was a well cooked medium rare filet worth 12.00. I was charged $$$$41.00 for a nice filet with 3 pieces of crab meat. Seriously ?? Next we ordered key lime pie: this soggy pie was on a coconut crust and not editable. The very nice server said she would take it off the check.... no offer of another desert or accommodation. Clearly this place survives based on location NOT the quality of the food. We will not be back and you could eat well else where!

Wonderful little dock and dine located in a marina setting. Seems like only the locals know about this little gem. Great happy hour and specials. I will definitely be back on my next visit.

Great off the boardwalk experience. Does not feel like your in OC which is what we wanted that night. Nice secluded location. Food was good, notching spectacular but better than expected. We had a group of 10 and they were accommodating.

Tonight my husband and I decided to come here for dinner. We were a bit hesitant after reading the reviews, but I'm glad we checked it out ourselves. It's a bit hard to find, but with a little help we managed. It's in a great location along the water. So casual and relaxed. It definitely seems more like a locals spot, which ups the ambience. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive to our needs. Our server was Sam, who did an excellent job. She was great at giving suggestions. She was quick to get refills, napkins, etc. The food was excellent. Our children split the chicken finger and potato chip meal. The only thing was that it said it came with orange slices, but we only got one. No biggie, because our kids just wanted the chicken and chips. We had crab dip as an app, which was a decent portion for 2 people to split, and was flavorful. My husband ordered the Chesapeake wrap, which he said was excellent. I just got a small Cesar salad with chicken. The chicken was amazing! So moist and seasoned well. The manager/owner came over and checked in on us which I thought was a nice touch. He even offered to bring the LEGO table over to where we were for the kids. Super nice and it's always nice to have someone like that running the show. I will definitely be back. Everything was great.

Best place to go for food, drinks, and fun! Really cool place and great drink choices! Key Lime pie, Martinis are really yummy! All the fish dishes were outstanding! Cheesy Bread wasn't too shabby either! Great, great service, didn't feel rushed and our server was spot on with getting things to the table.

Wow what a find. While definitely "off the beaten Ocean City boardwalk path the Reel Inn is a real find. The Reel Inn is about a .5 mile walk from 17th street and is tucked in a gated community. The Reel Inn is a dock side establishment and for us the incoming boats really heightened the ambiance and our experience. We arrived at about 6 pm on a Sunday evening there was a short five minute wait during which time we easily secured seats and the bar and enjoyed light conversation with very friendly locals. The Reel Inn has a vast selection of beers but nothing on tap. After about five minutes the hostess seated us at a corner table of the outdoor patio. While we did have to flag down the waitress to serve us that was one glitch in an incredibly delightful service and meal experience. While a live acoustic solo act played appropriately beach friendly tunes we perused the menu. We had crab balls and steamed shrimp for our appetizers. The crab balls are amazingly delicious all tasty bits of back fin and little, if any filler. The steamed shrimp were cooked well and also delicious. We ordered a delicious Match Box cabernet which was wonderful and a perfect complement to our meal and dining experience.

Not impressed by the food or the wait staff. The servers all seemed as if they had better things they would rather be doing and rushed us the entire way through dinner. The crab dip was just basically crab, oil, and old bay so be prepared for grease. I expected more.

Awesome! What a find. We come from a great restaurant town and this was still one of the best seafood meals we have ever had. I got an 8oz. beef filet and a jumbo lump crab cake with wild rice and grilled vegetables. My wife got a sampler of blackened shrimp and scallops with a jumbo lump crab cake with the same rice and veggies. Both meals were outstanding! Save room for the coconut key lime or peanut butter pie. Oh, and the crab dip appetizer, too. Wow! We were thrilled to have found something so great in a beach town, where frozen or deep fried is the normal fare. The staff was friendly, service was good, with a nice atmosphere -- bar seating / live music area indoors, and dockside seating on the outdoor deck. No draft beers, but the usual suspects in bottles and a few choices of wines. The place is located inside a gated community, so park on the outer streets, walk thru the gates and turn left, then look for the boat dock.

Update your hours so people dont waste their time driving here, looking everywhere for it. Update your hours , you're closed!

Dinned here with another couple. We are glad we followed another review and parked outside the gate and walked in. Wait time was about five minutes on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. We started out with beer and orange crush which was good. The ice wasn't crushed but it was still really good. The owner walked over to our table and asked how we heard about it...we told him yelp. Said he has been there for 20 years. The men both had the captains platter and thoroughly enjoyed the crab cakes and the scallops. The shrimp was the best. Fries and broccoli came with the platters. The for the ladies I had the single crab cake with broccoli and fries. The other meal was the chicken Chesapeake wrap...so yummy. The only negative problem was they ran out of the cream of crab soup. That was a let down. Totally worth it off the beaten path.

They had plenty of seating to keep social distancing. The food was amazing. We called ahead so they wait wasn't as long. You could tell the staff was busy, but they took care of our needs.

I decided to eat here because of some of the good Yelp reviews and it was my husband's birthday so it made sense that this would be a great venue to celebrate. What a MISTAKE!! Read the negative reviews because they are accurate!! The long wait was just incredible!! You wait and wait and wait. It took forever for the server to take our drink order and then it took her forever for her to bring the drinks to the table. Appetizers came out after 45 minutes! The female server was unfocused and scattered. She seemed to enjoy talking to her regulars than to wait on new customers. They all have an attitude too like this is the norm and too bad. Not impressed at all! We all ordered filet mignon and seafood dinners and the steaks were cooked incorrectly, liked nothing special. Medium rare came out medium well and even well done. Disaster!! 30.00 for filet should come out correctly. Probably overcooked cause it sat in the kitchen under the heat forever. No major flavor to it and It tasted like an ordinary backyard barbecue. I added garlic shrimp to my order and each one tasted like overcooked rubber balls. Everyone's meal is also accompanied with a sticky rice reminiscent of rice-a-roni and the string beans were prepared and served cold probably because the chefs can't handle executing a warm vegetable on a Friday night. Be prepared to sit for 2 1/2 hours for a simple not worth the money dinner. Staff is complacent and they don't care about customer service or you. The nicest thing is the ambiance of the boat docks other than that, you go someplace else.

After 4 years of living in FI, DE, we finally visited The Reel Inn. I wish we had done this sooner. I do not understand the negative reviews here. Wonderful, Casual, Relaxed atmosphere... Excellent Food and Tasty Drinks. The entire staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. It's A Hidden Gem and a Must Try!

This place seemed cool at first. Right on the dock with amazing views. So cute that I easily overlooked the restaurant is hidden in this apartment complex with limited parking space. Once we were in there though, the staff was horrible. It took 15 mins just to get someone to tell us the hostess was on the other side of the restaurant and not by the entrance. The "owner" was rude. Being there for the first time and not seeing a hostess and every waitress pretty much ignoring us, we clearly looked lost and got zero guidance from anyone. Even when we reached out and asked. I hate to say this but I felt unwelcome. Weird stares as I walked through the restaurant. I was told that there was an hour wait even tho there were plenty of tables available. We left and celebrated our bday shenanigans elsewhere.
