My girlfriend and I took a trip to PA for the weekend and decided to partake in a wine tasting for the first time. We did not need a reservation and were seated right away. The scenery and ambiance were exactly what we were looking forward to. For only $10 we were able to try 5 different wines of our choosing. Pink Crush were our favorites! There was live music going and the staff was very friendly and helpful in taking us through the full experience. There were books and games to play. We would love to return!

We held my dad’s 90th birthday party here today. The location is great, the facilities were fantastic and without a doubt the whole thing can together because of Laurel! Laurel could not have done enough to make sure we had everything we needed or had forgotten! Please consider having your event there! Ohh they have some great wine and drinks as well :-)

Google
A good selection of wines, but the pour on the flight was way too little. Amount to a sip. Haha. Would have been better off just getting a glass of any of them.

Google
Loved it here. The owner was great and accommodated a party of 15 with ease. The wine was excellent and if you’re hungry you can get snacks delivered to your table from a nearby restaurant.

My bridal party made wine tasting a part of a larger scavenger hunt while we were in Downtown Stroudsburg! Not only did the team really take care of me the bride, we had a member of our group pregnant. They made her a mocktail tasting so she wouldn't be left out 🥹 It really was so special! Thank you all so much for helping me celebrate!

Google
We are visiting from out of town, Jasmine helped us and explained all the wines so beautifully! Her recommendations were on point and she was so so kind! I highly recommend, whether you have hours to kill or thirty minutes to hang!

Google
Great place to stop by and try a few wines. A flight of five was very reasonable, so my wife and I each had our own. I really liked the dry Riesling, but the Petit Verdot was both of our favorites. It was a really fun time with a lot of variety. All the wines tasted great. Plus, they had Santa and live music.

Love this winery! Great wine, prices and atmosphere! Always welcoming too!

Yelp
What a great spot in town to just people watch while you sip a flight of wine with your mama pal on a sleepy Friday evening. We waltzed in right around 8-8:30PM and decided that since there were too many tempting choices to pick from, that my gal pal suggested we ask if they could give us a flight for a fair tasting. The staff is young and chill, filled with smiles and suggestions for offerings if you're inclined. As I wrote on my flight paper feverishly, I noticed my pal was writing just as lucid. I wanted the fruit notes while she wanted a better balance of neutrals and sweets. We laughed, we sipped, and swapped. The music wasn't too loud and the other patrons were sitting back and having deep conversations with their companions. The decor is rustic with a modern twist, and the lighting is perfect enough to read the menu a normal distance from your nose. We walked outta here with two bottles to have at a later date, and our cheeks were rosy and warm. A great spot to meetup, sip up and make some new memories!

Yelp
Excellent! Sat outside on a busy beautiful Saturday afternoon! BEers for the boys and wine for the girls! The servers came out to us to take orders and pay. Checked on us a few times! Inside is so cool and inviting!

Yelp
What a lovely place downtown in East Stroudsburg. There are tables to sit outside but I personally preferred their huge interior showcasing all the barrels. They even allow dogs inside! We cozied in a corner with a carpet and a couch. Wine selection is really nice-we ended up purchasing a bottle of Whatever-once you read the description and give it a taste...irresistible :)

Yelp
Great experience! The wine tasting was great. I took a bottle of the guilty wine and creation wine. The service was good. The staff was friendly. This place is also dog friendly. The ambiance wasn't typical winery but it was still a nice experience.

Yelp
Excellent attentive service and a cool vibe. We've enjoyed the wines from here before so I first selected an excellent Porter to slow myself down. It's hard to find a good Porter beer, but they did have Purple Monkey in a can, served in a glass. Afterwards, I also drank a glass of "whatever" yes, that is what it is called ~ you have to read the description of the wine. Definitely a place to repeat your visits.

Yelp
A true treasure of the area. It's one of my favorite places to bring my visitors to. A beautiful atmosphere, often with entertainment. The service is friendly. Great outdoor seating options.
google avatar

Yelp
Slightly more pricey and less quantity given compared to surrounding wineries I've visited, but on the flip side, they have some of my favorite wines there! I always opt for the flights since I can taste the most options and I tried a flight of all the sweet wines! #18 guilty was like drinking grape juice (which is so good but dangerous LOL) I also liked #19 peach which was super fruity! And actually, #1 which has chocolate flavors was so interesting and I really enjoyed it!! The space is huge which was great for my big group of friends! A great winery spot to check out when you're in the area!

Yelp
I absolutely love the wine here!! Great atmosphere!! Delicious wine! They offer beer from PA Breweries. So bring your man! Or your beer drinking friends. This is a great place to hang for a while. They do not serve food but you can order from nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this winery.
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome "urban" winery! My husband and I decided to spend our Christmas Eve here before the holiday chaos. The two staff members on shift were very friendly with us and our toddler. I can tell that the people who work here are like family! We enjoyed their wines and beers on tap and even brought home some bottles for ourselves and to give away as presents. We purchased the wine tote for $6, and was told that we can get 15% off the bottles whenever we bring it back! Which we certainly plan on doing. The "Stupid and Contagious" was my favorite!
google avatar

Shanel S.

Yelp
You MUST go here. Wine tastings cost $12 for 5 tastings and it's free if you buy a bottle of wine. Good beers on tap and the bartender is funny and charming. Big open space with live music too. Guy and his guitar with a few large groups chatting it up. You can bring food in from other places which is a nice perk. The bartender can recommend places based on your mood. Go there-- they good folks! And cause it was my bday, my beer was free My wife liked the pink crush. She's a sweet wine drinker

Yelp
Food (5/5) - loved, loved, loved the wines here!! - I went for the wine flight because it was reasonably priced imo. My favorites were Whatever and Creation Service (5/5) - I came when it wasn't as busy so I don't really have any complaints - They were very nice and attentive and also made sure to answer all of our questions Ambiance (5/5) - a cute, but casual space!! Perfect for having fun with friends and large groups Other notes: - I ended up buying two bottles of wine! Not sure if this is standard, but they were nice enough to give me two free wine glasses. This place is so worth a visit!

Yelp
A MUST if your in the Stroudsburg area. Although this isn't a traditional winery, it was a perfect stop in the town for a nice night out. The ambiance is very modern, clean, and has plenty of space to sit. I really have to say this was the best wine tasting I've been to, considering all of the vineyards I frequent on Long Island. Our server Regan was so kind and attentive to our tasting. She is extremely knowledgeable on each and every wine. For 12 dollars you get 5 wines to taste. Although there is no food here, there are plenty of places that in the surrounding area that are walkable. The winery let's you bring it in and eat it at the bar or tables. In all we left with 5 bottles of wine, extremely happy, and anticipating our visit again next time we are in the area!
google avatar

Catherine W.

Yelp
Small but appropriate tasting amounts. If you like slightly sweet wines, Fancy Pants is a good one. The server was very friendly offering information about where they get their fruit juices and how it's prepared. The only thing to advance it to 5 stars would be the option to purchase some meats/cheeses.
google avatar

Michele F.

Yelp
First visit to Renegade and we sat at the bar and had two tastings with Kaitlin. She was very knowledgeable about the winery and the wines she was pouring. We really enjoyed our tasting and we went home with a bottle of the Malbec. They had an extensive list of wines to taste. Plenty of seating at the bar, multiple tables to sit with friends and you can bring in your own food. I would suggest going in on a weekday to really receive the full experience. We can't wait to go back! They offer beer, wine and truly's. A little something for everyone. Street parking is close to the entrance.

Yelp
Laurel was amazing!!!!!!! The wines were great!!!! Many varieties and great selection. Listen to Laurel when she tells You the Habanero wine is spicy!!! Listen to her!!!!

Hank L.

Yelp
Tasted 10 of the 18 wines and every single one was fantastic. Terrific atmosphere. Owner Britt is very knowledgeable and great to talk to. Great live entertainment venue courtesy of the Sherman theater. They had me at unicorn farts...

Yelp
Surprisingly, Renegade Winery was located on a street corner. There were lots of cute tables and chairs outside. Seating is available inside too. It was a sunny and warm day, so we decided to sit outside. Our server came out with wine #'d menus, 2 white paper circles (5 smaller circles w/in) two bottles of cold water and a bowl of pretzels. For wine sampling, you mark the five menu numbers on the white paper circle. (See photo for example). The server returned with those samples. Unfortunately, we thought the wine style was terrible. It was flat and very dry. (This is where the winery falls short. This is why, I only rated this winery 3 stars). Between the two of us, we sampled 10 wines. Only one wine stood out. It was a red wine aged in a bourbon barrel. It had an interesting taste. Inside the winery, we did notice, that there were adult slushy's. One was piña colada. Sorry, I forgot the other one. We didn't get slushy's, since we were going to more wineries. The winery does rate Very High on excellent customer service. Street parking is available.

Yelp
This location is called an 'urban winery' which is cool! My company and I did a wine tasting for $12 which was great, because we really enjoyed our choices for the tasting. We both also ordered a glass of wine based on what we tasted, which was a bonus. I had the delicious 'Whatever' wine! All wines reasonably priced! Staff is very friendly! The winery does not sell food, but there is a QR code for a menu for Charcuterie restaurant which delivers right to your table. I ordered a delicious Mac & cheese and it went well with my wine. I'm sure you can order from elsewhere in the area too! They also send you home with complimentary wine glasses!

Yelp
Stopped in on my last night before picking up kids from a camp near by. I sat at the bar and was able to chat with the staff who were very friendly and knowledgeable about the different wines. They were able to share details about the different wines and I was able to do a sample (since I was walking back to my room I did try them all and there were unique and different options and the samples are small so it made it feasible to be able to try them all). They also had a slushy that was refreshing and light that I enjoyed as well. Stop in for a glass or some samples and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
For a place that isn't that busy it sure seemed like they were off a beat. Maybe because it was a Sunday on a holiday weekend. The wines I tried in my tasting weren't bad and one was actually really good. It's a nice spot with lively live music and it was pretty good too. I just had to wait when I was finished tasting and finally decided to pay at the bar.

Yelp
My husband and I went to school in the area and visit once a year. We love to visit renegade as it is such an important part in our story. This year, they were hosting a ladies night that Saturday night. We came in, they charged us $24 a person, with nothing included. Ladies night began at 8, we waked in an hour and a half before that start time and were still asked for this cover. We were not even allowed to buy a bottle of wine. We were not given wine glasses, we drank out of plastic cups. When confronted with questions regarding what is included in the ticket, the owner could NOT answer a single one, and refereed us to "The Sherman Theatre". While I understand working with others, I cannot understand a lack of comprehension involving your own contract.

Yelp
Renegade Winery is the place to go to create new memories in a chill setting. Their menu consists of whites, reds, sweet, and fruit wines. Everything on the menu sounds so good that you may want to try them all. Well, with their $5 taster flights, you definitely can. With each round, you get to try 5 wines. For me, the entire sweet wines category stood out to me followed closely behind by the fruit wines. Whatever is my favorite and, according to the menu, is a combination of all their best selling wines and unicorn farts. That speaks to me. Side note, I had a sip of the jalapeno fruit wine and my mouth was on fire for a good 30 minutes. It's fun to try for the experience but I wouldn't have it on its own again. You can bring food in from the outside.
google avatar

Yelp
Sample 5 wines. Take home a souvenir glass. Maybe take home some wine if you like it enough. It is a winery and not a vineyard. Not that it really makes a difference, well, maybe it does, but they create it from bought juice and not their own grapes. I honed in on a couple of their "Sweet Wines" and brought some home, but what really made me curious about the place was the jalapeño and habanero wines. The jalapeño was too much for me. It wasn't the heat factor but rather the pepper flavor that punched you too hard in the face. For the habanero I was disappointed that it wasn't available for tasting "because it's too hot," what? Anyway, there was a mango habanero that was and that was actually good enough to take home a bottle. Instead of punching you in the face, it settles calmly in your mouth with little sense of smell and then comes from behind to stab you right in the heart. It was awesome. So, is there a reason to come to their location here instead of visiting the one in the outlets? Probably not.

Tracy P.

Yelp
Freakin awesome wine and mixed drinks!!!!! Laurel, our bartender was fantastic!! Usually only like a couple of wines when tasting, but I had had to purchase all of them!! That good!! The wine called "Whatever" was my favorite!! Unicorn farts all the way!! If you like sweet wine, this is the jam!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love that Stroudsburg has such a nice winery right on Main St so you don't have to go far to have fun! There is plenty of seating in and outside of the establishment and it is so roomy as well! So you never feel like you are on top of people! A group and I enjoyed the wine tasting. There was a variety of 20 or so different wines that you can choose from and everyone was easily able to find their favorite! Also, you get to keep the glass, too! How cool! Apparently there is also a beer selection, but we did not get the chance to indulge in that. No food here, but they did have pretzels available for to eat! With decor, I loved how everything was artists work up for grabs, but I do think that they should update the women's bathroom. There were about 15 different signs that told me how great I looked and how it was going to be a good day. I think they could use more photos in there and less inspirational quotes!
google avatar

Alison R.

Yelp
Cool winery, wine is decent too. They do fun flights and their wines have spunky names. Some of the sweet wines were pretty sweet and the reds were not fantastic. The flight was worth it to taste it all. We went as a bachelorette party so it was a fun day. They have great live music to add to their vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for a cute place to gather with friends and try some wine- this is the spot! We all got the wine flight for $10. I have never had such amazing wine at such a low cost. Every person in my party all ended up buying 2-3 bottles of wine to leave with. Can't recommend the Pink Crush or Whatever more!

Dave A.

Yelp
My wife purchased a case of wine from them after a taste sampling. When we got home found the wine bottles were full of sediment and the wine did not taste the same as the one we tested. We talked with the owner and he said the wine is unfiltered. The bottle we tasted did not have any sediment. We wanted to return and was told too bad no refunds. Very poor and a waste of $300. We ended up cooking with it as it is horrible to drink.

Yelp
Really dug the atmosphere of this urban winery located in the middle of downtown Stroudsburg. The space is plenty and you would find many large groups of family and friends enjoying each other's company. It seems like a great spot for bridal gatherings since we saw at least three groups of ladies. My friend called to ask if they can fit 19 of us and we were so glad we called beforehand because they actually prepared a long table for us! They had live music with a guitarist playing some chilled music (wasn't paying attention what he was singing) since they got a nice stage for the musicians. My table ordered 6 bottles to start (and end) since it's 10% off for 6+. The tasting for a large group would have been a nightmare for the waitress to deal with so we didn't even consider it. In the end, it was basically a tasting experience anyway. Since the winery allowed outside food (BYOF), we picked up some cheese and meat platter to pair with the wines. The wines were overall too sweet to my liking so my favorite one was the red - top cask. They do have interesting fruit wines. Nevertheless, we had a great time hanging out.

Jordan D.

Yelp
The wine was fantastic! But the only down part about my experience is that one of the workers gave me the dirtiest wine glasses... Besides that everything else was good. Highly recommend but just check your glasses before you start to drink please!
google avatar

Tara S.

Yelp
Loved this place. We stopped here on our poconos wine tour and this was the perfect place to end a long day. We tried some interesting spicy wines on our flight which were definitely hot and unique. Loved the vibe here and the unicorn wine slushees.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited this place over the weekend and it was definitely a good time. This place is more like a tasting room, and less of a winery that does tours and whatnot. For $5 you get to select 5 different wines from the menu, and you also get a free glass to take with you. They allow you to bring your own food, and so we decided to get some charcuterie from a place down the road. I can't remember the name of the place, but it's owned by the same people as the winery. They have a pretty decent selection of wine, but the one We all wanted to order (Heathen), was unavailable. They also have some nice art on display for sale. Overall all, this was a pretty cool place that i would recommend.

Yelp
Lots of fun. Tried several wines especially to bring home as gifts and for my self. The wine server was amazing and very informative about each wine which helps since I know nothing about wine myself. I ended up choosing four bottles of wine to bring home and having a great wine tasting five samples. I also end up buying an extra glass to bring home for one friend because the cool design on the outside.
google avatar

Trinity S.

Yelp
The vibe in here was really, really great. Not being from the area, sometimes you get reminded of that when you walk into a bar. But here I felt totally welcomed. The staff was very kind, and the wine was fantastic. The process of wine tasting was very fun, and for it being my first time doing something like that I was not disappointed with this place. It's also very reasonably priced I think. They had really cool live music that fit the scene. You can buy a bottle of wine after you find your favorite and honestly the wine we got was the best wine I think I have ever had in my 25 years of being alive. I will 100% come back here when my husband and I visit the area.

Yelp
One of my favorite wineries in the area. Really good customer service and most of all beautiful art everywhere. I love sweet wine and my favorite is Guilty. The owner is super amazing and engaging with great energy. This a perfect place for a date or somewhere to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Yelp
This place was pretty amazing. We did two sets of wine flights. We thought it was pretty cool that you can order from outside vendors for food and have them deliver. The place was also not overcrowded. There were two people that helped us. The woman was extra nice to us. We found a piece of cork in one of the wine glasses we were drinking the swapped it out for us. We also loved that we got some cool wine glasses that came with the tastings. There is a wide selection of wines. We came home with two bottles of wine. We would definitely go back.

Yelp
A great winery! Amanda is friendly and knowledgable. It's spacious and very comfortable.

Yelp
I work at a high-end wine bar, so my expectations were pretty high going in. I don't always like this about myself, but i try to keep an open mind. I walked by and said "why not," and decided to do a wine tasting. We sat outside at a cute patio table that sits on the corner of a busy intersection. This is a big positive for me, because who doesn't like people watching? The wine tasting is about 5$ which is insane. Insane as in I couldn't believe it was that inexpensive! Wine tastings where i work run anywhere from 12-20$ easy. The pours were hefty too. I'd say at least an ounce each, maybe even 1.5! I chose a a white, a rose, and a few red. You get 5 in the tasting by the way! The menu is pretty big too, with a wine for everyone's liking. I will say, most were pretty sweet. As someone who drinks varietals from all over the globe (not trying to sound pretentious I swear), I was kinda disappointed that most of the wines reminded me the wine coolers I drank in my early twenties. Luckily, those are very marketable and liked by your average consumer. I will say both the heathen and criminal were good, and reminded me of a 19 crimes/apothic red type of vibe. The charcuterie plate was eh. For 8$ it's pretty overpriced for what you get, but with the tastings being so affordable, I can see how they need the markup. Some dried dates (3), apricots (3) and prune/cherry/mystery fruit, accompanied by some "celebrations" butter crackers and deli counter cheeses like white cheddar. Definitely not worth 8$ and would not order again. I wanna note that the "whatever" wine is not only hilarious, but one of the weirdest things I've ever tasted. I really wonder if anyone drinks this concoction. I truly believe it's a bunch of old bottles dumped together, which like I said, is absolutely hilarious. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. The bartender was kind and welcoming. The wine is local and their message is cool and I like their spirit. Is it good wine? Sure. Would I come back? No. We left with 3 bottles though, because it's important to support industry people right now. Im happy it was open and we were able to enjoy some wine on a patio. I hope the community continues to support businesses like renegade.

Elaina C.

Yelp
Highly recommend if you're in the area. The place is very unique and has interesting decor. We did the wine tasting and they give you a lot of wine (not just the typical sip that some Places do). Every single wine was delicious. We had such a great time here!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
This was a nice Friday night. I went her alone and had a great time. The white wine was the best On the street. Listened to folk music and enjoyed the atmosphere. Great customer service.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Such a gem in this part of town! Loved the 5 for $5 flight for sampling their wine. Amazing people with great multi tasking skills if you ask me. The place was hopping and serve yourself by going to the counter, but each server was very attentive to each customer/party! My favorite part is their sampler wine glass that we got to take back to remember the experience :)
google avatar

Nick E.

Yelp
Great service despite it being very busy. Wine selection was varied and delicious. Great prices for the tasting and bottles (of which we bought multiple). Definitely will go again!

Christina S.

Yelp
F and I really enjoyed hanging at this cool, cavernous wine bar. We stopped in on a brisk fall Tuesday afternoon and we're the only ones there at first. The wine tasting are 5 for $5 and the lovely young lady at the bar helped me make my selections while F had at porter on tap. The wines I chose were a mixture of whites and reds. The only one I really didn't like was what I thought was a rose, but turned out to be a while zinfandel (my fault). We ended up purchasing 3 bottles for Christmas gifts and got a free glass (nice touch).

Yelp
Fruit wines were amazing. So unique and delicious. We have never tasted anythinf like that before. Go there if you can.

Yelp
Came across this very nice winery in the middle of Stroudsburg on a Yelp search and was actually pretty shocked at how big and lively the winery was! When we had walked in there was a local guitarist singing on their small stage while people were chattering amongst each other. The staff was very nice and were very accommodating we walked in with a group of 15+ people and they were able to put us at a table within 10-15 minute waiting. The staff made sure we were comfortable with our table arrangements in the back and although they had wine tasting available we decided to start off with 6 bottles of wine to make it easier, all in which had adorable labels. The wine here was more on the sweet end, so if you enjoy sweet fruity wines this is definitely your place. I also liked how they had provided free water bottles with our purchase as well as snacking pretzels which was very nice of them. I think the only thing I didn't like was that since the winery was in the "city" there wasn't much parking around and you had to find meter parking, but all in all it was a great time and we all enjoyed ourselves.
google avatar

Tami L.

Yelp
What a delightful find!!! Cool vibe, live music, & best of all- delicious wine!!! Great options for tasting, glasses, bottles. Stop here!!! Cheers .

Yelp
I came for a weekend ski trip getaway from the city this past weekend and we wanted to check out this place. It was amazing from the service to the $5 wine flight w 5 nice sized samples and a wine glass (SAY WHAT?!) to the music go the decor. The staff , I think his name began with a C, was so friendly and helpful as we asked him multiple questions. There was an acoustic duo who were very impressive. They also give you complimentary water bottles and pretzels. Whenever I come back I will definitely make it a point to go back there

Yelp
This winery is definitely a nice hidden gem in the downtown area. If you're looking to do an indoor wine tasting minus the actual vineyard experience, this is the place. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the available wines. They were able to answer all questions asked and make great recommendations. There are a wide variety of wines which was perfect for my group because we all have different taste. Also, this winery host paint & sips as well so you can grab a glass a wine and walk right back over to your canvas to paint!
