The Residences Water Square

When I first moved in I loved this place. The lobby, the amenities, the views, the friendly atmosphere. It was perfect. Then shortly after the draft they broke ground on what they originally told me was going to be restaurants and a green space. They are building a 25 story hotel to the East of this building. Goodbye privacy and amazing views. Construction begins at 7:00AM sharp Monday-Saturday. There is no quiet time if you work from home. It is loud even from the 19th floor. The road is going to constantly be covered in mud and dirt from the construction site next door. If you have a nicer car get ready for it to get damaged. The nearest parking garage is currently at Huntington Place for the valet. Expect long wait times to get your car. That’s as long as the valet doesn’t disappear all together. The rooftop/shared space is regularly reserved and not accessible to the other tenants. Building events are full of non residents and residents are limited on the amount of guests they can bring. I’m over it. Don’t buy into the hype. There are much better options without having to hear a live construction site every day. **Update on 11/12/2024 -I was released from my lease in September. I moved out at the end of September. I still have not received my security deposit back. They are holding $4250 and all I keep getting is the check was sent in the mail. STAY AWAY from the property if you care about your sanity and your money. If you want a better option take a look at Book Tower. It may not have the same views of the water like this property but they dont just lie to you constantly. My security deposit there was only $500.

I recently toured this downtown apartment, and I was thoroughly impressed! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The apartment itself is modern, spacious, and filled with natural light. The building amenities are top-notch, from the rooftop deck with stunning views to the state-of-the-art fitness center. The management team was top notch. I worked with a lady named Stacy who was friendly, professional, and quick to answer all my questions. Overall, this place feels like home already—highly recommend!

I've been a Watersquare resident now for nearly a year. I must honestly say that I am 100% happy with my decision with moving here. The staff is very professional it's a new downtown facility which was definitely one of my most important wants in an apartment. Everyone is pleasant and management is always trying to improve whats almost close to perfect. The pool and workout facility is amazing and to have access for entertaining your guess on the best roof top views in the city is priceless.Valet parking and a coffee shop in the lobby always starts my day off right. To walk just steps from the best Riverwalk in the country is a perk as well. I can go on and on but it's something you will have to experience yourself. Watersquare Rocks!

The Valet Service at The Residences Water Square is top-notch. Loren has helped us through snags with the App, helpful advice (separate your car keys from all other keys), and always ensuring the safety of residents as they pull into traffic. Robert, T, and Leah always have a smile, a pleasant word, and a helpful hand. I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed valet service as pleasant and as dependable as ours. Keep up the outstanding work, team!

Move in was a breeze! The effective communication made the move less stressful and hassle-free! I love the gratis bag full of goodies upon arrival! The staff has been great at facilitating the move with me! I have thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism! Bryonna has been a treasure to work with along with the rest of the team—from valet to the concierges! I’m so happy with the new management team, they have introduced and set a new standard of greatness, and service! I have always been a suburban girl my entire life. I felt like it was time for a complete change. I honestly couldn’t have picked a better location, a better property, a better staff, a better management team, or a better VIEW! Living here my life feels like a dream! Every time I step foot inside of the Residences Water Square; It’s like I’m teleported to an entirely different city and state. I have to pinch myself to realize I’m not dreaming or on vacation—and that I’m still totally in Michigan! Waking up to the views, every day feels like a vacation. All of the many amenities are out-of-this-world, I couldn’t ask for anything more! This property is the dreamiest! 10/10, highly recommend!

I took a tour yesterday and instantly got hooked walking through the building and seeing the views of different spaces. This brand new luxury apartments building is undeniably Top tier interior/ exterior designed. I was amazed. Very High Level indeed. Definitely reserved for High Level business people. Beautiful rich city views and to see the construction for what’s to come in the near future is very exciting to see!

By far the best apartments in Metro Detroit with a little bit of everything. The Manager Matt, and Isabella are Amazing! Professional, Helpful, Organized, with amazing vibes who make residents feel at home. This location is also the safest option to live in Detroit. Deshawn is great at his job. Everything is brand new with no problems, including 4 new elevators , gym with the newest equipment, coffee shop, secure huge package room, amazing views from all units and the cherry on the cake is the top floor has unbeatable 360 views of the whole city which is immaculate.

I am truly grateful for the outstanding service provided by the concierge team at the Residences. Every interaction with them has been a pleasure. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure the residents feel welcome and supported. Whether it’s handling packages with care, responding promptly to requests, or offering a friendly smile, their attention to detail and dedication is evident every day. In particular, I’d like to highlight Mr Darryl Jones, who has been especially helpful on many occasions! His professionalism and genuine care has made living here such a positive experience. Thank you to the entire team for all that you do. It’s truly appreciated!
