I’ve lived at The Rise for a few months now and have no complaints! The apartment and amenities are great, but the staff is what really makes the difference. Jessica in the leasing office is truly the best & I know I’m in good hands if there’s ever an issue. Side note - if you’re worried about safety, it’s reassuring that security/an officer is on the property at night.

I moved to The Rise in June of 2022 and have really enjoyed it so far! The two-bedroom unit is very spacious and set up well. The bedrooms have space for queen and king beds with additional space for night stands and dressers. The bathrooms are spacious with walk in closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and the island is large which is nice when having people over. I specifically selected a third floor unit because the ceilings in the living room are higher and make the apartment feel even larger. The only downside to the third floor units are the stairs. A major draw was being pet friendly and having a dog park on site. Ohio Brewing Company opened a new location around the corner from the complex and when the weather is nice I've enjoyed being able to walk to bars/restaurants in Italian Village. I would highly recommend The Rise!

Have lived at The Rise since the apartments were brand new in 2020. It’s a nice, quiet, complex with polite and attentive staff and quick maintenance. They have a pretty good system set up for communicating with their leasing team and I haven’t had issue since moving in. My only “complaint” is that I chose to live on the top floor (there’s 3 floors, starting at the ground and then 2 levels up) and there are no elevators, but the view of downtown Columbus more than makes up for it!

My partner and I were looking for an apartment and The Rise seemed to fit all of our needs. After applying, we went 3 weeks with no answer. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office. An AI answers the phones and hangs up on you every time you try to transfer to a representative. Several emails have been ignored. We paid a large fee to apply which has now gone down the drain. We dodged a bullet here. If they cannot answer and ignore potential tenants, it makes me wonder what being a tenant would be like. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere.

Good apartment thats unfortunately getting worse. To start I'll address all the negative reviews having to do with crime and cars getting broken into. I lived at this complex for 3.5 years before moving and NEVER had my car broken into or a single window smashed. I would assume the people who have this happen to them keep leaving expensive things sitting out in their cars, so dont be stupid like them and you'll be fine. The complex is pretty standard for the area with a nice gym, pool, and price to sqft ratio (probably one of the better bang for your buck apartments in the area due to the location). Speaking of the location, its really nice except you have to walk around the train tracks to 2nd ave instead of being able to cut down 1st ave since the train tracks cut it off. So it turns what would be a 10min walk to the Short North into a 20min walk but its not too bad. The best thing about the apartment in my time hear has been the maintenance team and Jessica in the front office. They have always been quick to respond and helpful with anything I needed. Have an imprtant document you need to print but dont own a printer? Ask Jessica to print it for you! Shes been great Unfortunately, this is where the "getting worse" part comes in. I hadn't seen Jessica around lately and in my last month of living here they implemented an AI assistant thats seemed to replace most of what she did. Its been a disaster! No one is ever in the leasing office anymore to answer a quick question or help you. And they even sold my parking spot (yes you pay for those separately but its cheap compared to the other complexes in the area) to a new resident while I was still living here and almost towed my car before I was able to find a real human being and get the situation resolved. Asides from this terrible change they made, the only other major negative I'll give them is that there is 1 trash station located at the end of the property (3.5 years of hauling my trash bags a few hundred yards has made me huge 💪) and it constantly overflows and breaks. But the people who live here have always been super nice and everyone walks their dogs (and occasionally cats!) so you can say hi and give em a pet for me

The Rise apartment complex offers a positive living experience, largely due to its well-maintained facilities and dedicated staff. Exceptional Staff Support: Jessica consistently provides outstanding assistance with a positive and helpful demeanor, promptly addressing resident queries. Immaculate and Serene Environment: The apartment complex is consistently clean, well-organized, and maintains a peaceful atmosphere. Outstanding Amenities: The amenities are a significant highlight, featuring a beautiful pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and a clean, quiet club room with a pleasant ambiance. Opportunities for Improvement: Mailroom Accessibility: The current limitation of mailroom access to office hours creates inconveniences, particularly for time-sensitive deliveries such as Amazon overnight shipments. Expanded access hours would greatly enhance resident convenience. Guest and Delivery Access: While tenant safety is paramount, the requirement for residents to personally open the gate for guests and food deliveries can be cumbersome. Exploring alternative, secure solutions for entry management could improve the resident experience.

Highly recommended these apartments. They’re so beautiful, the pool and gym are amazing. The best part is the staff! Maintenance is always on it! And the office is always happy to help, Jessica is honestly the best, so helpful and friendly.

Moved in April of 2023 and have loved the apartment unit, pool, gym, clubhouse coffee machine and the friendly staff! Only down side is my bike was stolen here and my car broken into, unfortunately that comes with our location. So just be mindful of what type of locks you put on your bikes and don’t drive a Hyundai or Kia of course 😃

Yelp
We love the rise apartments! Prices are fair for the location. Pool/gym are really nice. Apartments are high quality and simple. Mailroom is nice and keeps packages safe. Security monitors parking lots which helps the area feel overall safe. 10 min walk to Italian village bars. Staff is responsive, maintenance always comes quickly. Overall we are very pleased!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have lived at the rise for about 8 months and so far we've loved it! The community is clean, feels safe, and we love all of the amenities! Our unit has had no problems and has all updated appliances. The leasing staff has been extremely helpful and kind. They go out of their way to help out residents! I really couldn't recommend the rise more and we plan to stay here for years to come!

Yelp
I have lived at the rise for about a year and a half now and have loved it. It is a very safe and friendly community that is also very pet friendly. They have daytime and nighttime patrol through the parking lot and everyone has a designated parking space. The apartments are new and updated and if you need maintenance, they are responsive and solve issues quickly. I had an issue with my rent and was helped same day by the women in the office to get it resolved. If you are a young, working professional and want to live in a walkable and safe community these are the apartments for you!

Yelp
I recently moved, and so far I have had an amazing experience, especially compared to my friends. We often have planned food trucks and community events which is nice. The office is really responsive as well as maintenance, they fixed my issue immediately. Overall great !

Yelp
I've lived at the rise for nearly four years. The maintenance service and shared facilities are excellent. The community itself is also very quiet, allows pets, and has done great views of the skyline.

Yelp
A little over 3 months living here... Although, there's a knocking noise when I use my washer, my bedroom (which I almost never use) light flickers like there's a shortage, there's a random knocking noise when I use My washer, upstairs neighbor sounds like he's playing football, the upstairs balcony not being flush so it drips on my balcony, amongst other things, the apartment is decent. WHEN IT RAINS, the breezeway (in my building) FLOODS due to there not being drains, which leaves mosquitoes lingering and attracts spiders- according to Ali, the property manager. That brings me to my request of having the exterminator treat my apartment. What I learned is that the property management GIVE ANYONE WHO HAS A UNIFORM ON AND "LEAVES THEIR ID AT THE LEASING OFFICE A KEY TO YOUR APARTMENT AND ALLOW TO ENTER UNSUPERVISED AND WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW SPECIFICALLY WHEN THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE OR THAT SOMEONE HAS BEEN THERE... EVEN WHEN I SPECIFICALLY STATED WHEN I FIRST MOVED ON I WANT TO BE HOME WHEN I REQUEST TO HAVE THINGS DONE. LITERALLY, I legit cringe every time I ask for something to be corrected because there's an issue, and excuse and an unwarranted suggestion instead of just getting things done and doing the right thing. It's annoying because it's like they don't really care. The management team, with the exception of ONE agent is terrible. I spoke to an agent at another property, who used Elford as their property management company previously and they stated they had to take over because Elford was so bad. It definitely shows why here. They're "nice" but always have excuses, this is a business! Oh the parking is TRAGIC! Aside from not having adequate parking for residents, people park illegally and get towed. THE PARKING SET UP IS insane! THERE IS NO DESIGNATED PARKING FOR VISITORS! THERE ARE NO PARKING SPACES FOR RESIDENTS WHO CHOSE NOT TO PAY FOR PARKING AFTER 4-5PM-it says parking on Reynolds. HOWEVER, there are STILL home owners who live on Reynolds Ave and there are NO PARKING LINES WHICH ALLOWS POOR DRIVERS TO PARK HOWEVER THEY WANT AND DOES NOT MAXIMIZE PARKING. Ask the city to paint some lines for parking spaces, remove the permit parking for the lot-because it's not logical or practical for the resident. I could literally go on and on about my experience here but this is just my 3 month update. This is more like a 2.5 apartment rating to me... rounded up because maintenance is good about getting things done.

Yelp
My fiancé and I have been looking for a two bedroom apartment in downtown Columbus for months. We didn't want to give up our walking distance to the major hot spots and pay the price of upwards of $1800 bucks for a smaller space. We found the rise after looking at station 324 in the Jeffery park area. Although the neighborhood is up and coming by the rise, we feel super safe with all the precautions the company took in developing the neighborhood for the apartments. After a long tour with many questions we threw at Ryann, our leasing agent- she made everything so smooth. She was never bothered by any of our comments and made sure all of our needs were addressed with honestly and without sales being her priority. We really appreciate her and the care that goes into the facility. Thank you Ryann and Rise for helping us fall in love with our home again:)

Yelp
I've lived here about a month now and it's been the smoother experience. Staff is amazing and the location is great basically in Italian village. Love it here I'll prob sign another year!

Yelp
The location and price of the rise is amazing and exactly what I was looking for. Only a 3 minute drive down to the short north or downtown Columbus. It is really easy to get ahold of the leasing office and they always are so helpful. The apartment is so nice and so affordable! The gym is so nice and big.

Bobby V.

Yelp
Have been living here for almost a month and it has been amazing so far! Nothing better than a brand new apartment/amenities. Moving in was super easy and internet/cable set up was a breeze. I cant believe how big and nice the gym is here too! Might end up cancelling my other gym membership!
