The staff is the high point of the hotel. I found them to be uniformly pleasant and helpful. The hotel somehow makes very good hiring decisions. The room was nice though there was a large entry area by the door that really should have been furnished because it looked very bare. The hotel is located far from south beach and mid beach where a lot of the excitement is. The rooms look out over a channel, not really the ocean though you can see it.

My stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, welcoming, and truly five-star. The staff anticipated every need without being overbearing, which made the entire experience feel seamless and personalized. The rooms are stunning — beautifully designed, spacious, and with breathtaking views of the ocean. Every detail, from the bedding to the bath amenities, reflects the high standard of the Ritz brand. The property itself is peaceful, elegant, and perfectly located for both relaxation and convenience. Whether it was relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, or simply soaking in the atmosphere, every moment felt luxurious. If you’re looking for a refined, tranquil escape with world-class service, this is the place. I can’t wait to return.

This place has got to be one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. The people were so welcoming. It’s such a quiet place, with the most breath taking hotel view. I sat on the balcony for a couple hours each day just taking it all in. I felt like royalty. I’m 100% going back. It was SO CLEAN. If you need something, they are on it.

This hotel truly stands out as an exceptional property—even for someone who frequently stays in hotels due to business travel. The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour exceeded all my expectations. The service was outstanding in every respect, with an evident focus on creating a personalized and unforgettable experience. I particularly want to highlight Kevin’s exceptional service at the beach: he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our beach days truly special. Highly recommended!

Our family went to Bal Harbour for a few days at the end of March and stayed at the Ritz. Upon entering, the lobby area is nice, but small. Check in is quick as there was no wait, but the front desk attendants do not seem to be as service-focused. I inquired about an upgrade (as I'm a Titanium member) and was told "we aren't doing upgrades this week due to spring break". I can understand if there is no upgrades available, but I probably would have said it differently or at least pretended to see if anything was available. On my check out day, I inquired about late check out and the lady gave me a hard time about that (she let us stay to noon and she felt like she was doing me favor with that). ||We then went to the elevator to get up to the rooms and they are a bit small. You get to the landing area and there are only two rooms. The landing area is really really small by the way. The room itself was nice, especially the bathrooms. ||We went to the beach and pool everyday. The beach is ok, but lots of seaweed. The pool was nice and service there was pretty good. ||We ate the onsite restaurant (Artisan Beach House) every day. The food and service was good with no complaints. In the afternoons, they have afternoon ice cream in the lobby and that was really good! We also liked having the complimentary daily cocktails at the bar. ||Overall, we enjoyed our stay even though a couple of the front desk agents aren't up to Ritz standards.

This is by far the worst Ritz-Carlton I have stayed at. Our experience at this hotel was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to warn others. While there were a few bright spots—housekeeping was fast, the privacy of having only two rooms per floor was appreciated, the view was lovely, and the drinks at the pool were actually quite good—those positives were quickly overshadowed by some serious issues.||First and foremost, we had a medical emergency with someone in our party. Shockingly, we were not informed about this until after the hotel staff had them transported to the hospital. When we asked the front desk for details, no one could tell us anything about what happened. Worse, they refused to let us speak with a manager nor did they take any information from us about the events leading up to the emergency. It was beyond frustrating and incredibly distressing during an already tense situation. ||Prior to this situation happening, we were lounging at the pool near others who were not hotel guests or residents (they made this clear when talking to us). They were loud, disruptive, and ruined what could have been a relaxing afternoon especially given the medical emergency that happened shortly after. Apparently, the hotel does little to monitor who uses the facilities.||On top of that, our room's air conditioning barely worked. It made a loud whistling noise all night and stayed stuffy even when set to 65 degrees. Sleeping comfortably was nearly impossible. The location, while seemingly convenient, is a logistical nightmare. If you're coming from or going north, be prepared for multiple u-turns and confusing access points. It's more hassle than it's worth.||All in all, the lack of communication, poor management response, and overall guest experience were unacceptable. I won’t be returning and strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

We visited The Titz in Bal Harbour and had a wonderful experience! What I liked most is that everything is taken care of – whether you’re by the pool or at the ocean. The staff member Thomas was incredibly helpful and attentive. It’s such a joy to relax by the ocean, lie on the lounge chairs, or rent a cabana. The service is excellent! If you’d like, you can even order food and drinks directly to your spot. A true oasis of relaxation! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Had great service at the beach area via GM, Ein, Marquis and Allan. Will review others during our stay. W ha a wonderful upgrade to a wrap around balcony suite overlooking the harbour. Just a truly unbelievable room that was totally unexpected. All staffers are courteous and willing to help and assist at all times...

Yelp
Hi everyone, I myself in Hospitality so for that reason, I wanted to share my experience during my recent travels. At the Ritz-Carlton hotel bar, I ordered a coffee and asked if they had any croissants . Tania!! The staff member informed me that croissants weren't on the menu. However, she offered to check the breakfast area across the hotel to see if any were left over after breakfast hours. I told her that either plain or chocolate croissants would be fine. She left to check and returned with a plain croissant. To my surprise, she also brought some butter and additional chocolate so I could make my own chocolate croissant. It's the little things that matter!

Yelp
Had the best time here with family. Marlene was amazing!! Go to the bar and ask for her and she will take care of you!

Yelp
I don't know what's going on with their hotel brand maybe they're putting all their energy into their yacht brand now? Although the staff is always trained very well, the place seems so old and stuffy and turned into a ghost town. I thought that by now they would've changed the menu at the pool, but they still have the nastiest food there that is so didn't align with their luxury brand. I 've ordered so many tacos and quesadillas and each time I've ordered from any Ritz it's been such a disappointment. Whoever is the C suite running the food and beverage needs to make some changes. I would choose Del Taco over the Ritz poolside menu any day. The quesadillas were so bland, ingredients do not seem like the best ingredients they could buy, cheese tastes fake, and their salsa taste like nothing. Had their tacos at the Southbeach Ritz and they were terrible. Although most of their menu is easy Mexican appetizers, they don't even come with any spice. I had to request jalapeños, and those were not even pickled and the only other hot sauce they had for my quesadillas were 2 mini bottles of Tabasco. I felt like I was on the cheapest cruise ship ever. Of course, the only thing that got me through the terrible experience with food are the drinks. This will be the final time I order at a Ritz poolside.

Yelp
We chose the hotel to spend my birthday in the pool and have access to the beach, this hotel Is beautiful, elegant, and quiet not like others in Miami. We came with a resort pass and spent some time at the pool and was pretty nice but the day was kind of cold and we didn't get into the pool, we just used the hot tub and went to the beach, was a beautiful evening, service was great food and cocktails good. They have service towels at the beach and sunscreen everywhere. Is a perfect spot for enjoying a day in the pool, the only thing is a little noise because they're doing some construction work in the area and if you wanna use the showers after the pool at the spa, you have to pay 35$.

Yelp
Yikes! This hotel did not feel like the Ritz. (Actually I stayed at the Key Bicayne Ritz several years ago and thought it was overrated but much better than the Bal Harbour one.) Now, I did not stay at the Bal Harbour one for clarity. I went for an event. The food that was served was okay. I did not eat the meat but the cheese was nothing special. I did like the bread. A lot. The fruit was really high quality. The olives were fair. I did not care for the wine brand served but that is on me. I did like the beer selection but it definitely should have been colder. Not enough seating. Music was wonky. So, I had to valet park. I really despise valet parking. Anyhow, I had no choice. So my friend and I drove separately. We paid and then gave our tickets to the valet guy. There was one of him and one manager standing around the whole time. We actually left before the event ended because the event was not as good as we thought it would be. So, it should not have taken long to get our vehicles. Nope. It took about 40 minutes. The Ferraris and Lamorghinis took up two lanes. There was barely room for everyone else's car to get by. My suggestion to the Ritz would be if you are having an event with over 100 people, it would be wise to have more than one valet guy. The poor man looked exhausted. Not fair to him or the customers. The Ladies Room looked outdated. This hotel felt more like a Marriott or Hilton at best.

Yelp
It was a quiet environment away from Miami, with a nice view right by the beach. However, the beach staff setting up umbrellas, shades, and chairs provided very slow service, almost as if no one was working. The spa service was also overpriced and not the best.

Yelp
I purchased a day pass with pool access + 2 massages and was planning on having a lovely little getaway until i arrived at the actual spa. The Ritz Carlton has always been a beautiful hotel chain, but this location was dilapidated. Sadly, the facilities were all out of order. We were unable to use the steam room, lockers, or even the shower. To make things worse, there was only one restroom available and it did not have soap, and the overall conditions were poor. There was also noisy construction going on while we sat at the pool. Definitely not your ideal, relaxing spa day.

Erica F.

Yelp
Unfortunately, their prices are astronomical. Cocktails , at the pool at 26.00 and above. I understand it's the Ritz but that is egregious. No one at the beach was ordering any drinks, lol I wonder why

Yelp
We have been to several South Florida luxury beach hotels, and I have to say this one was probably the worst experience we have had. First of all, I am not sure you can call it a hotel. This was clearly built as apartments/condos that they operate in part as a hotel. The property does not give off the hotel vibe at all and the facilities are not on par with other Ritz-Carlton hotels we have been to. Location: the access is very strange and the property is hard to find. You need to follow signs to the Residences (again, this is clearly not a real hotel). Valet parking only - no self parking available. Pool: the pool are is on the small side and does not feel like a resort pool, more like an apartment pool. Beach: This is a strange location right by Haulover inlet. The water gets really choppy here and the beach is constantly dirty. Do not stay here for a beach experience. Rooms: The rooms feel more like apartments than hotel rooms. Storage areas throughout the apartments are locked (guessing it's the owner's storage) and hanging/drawer space is very limited. Food: The food is not bad, but the service was very slow. Poke Bowl was quite good actually. Overall the staff seemed to try hard to make this an enjoyable experience, but unfortunately the property is a big miss. Similar price point hotels I would recommend over this one: Aqualina, St. Regis, Faena.

Yelp
Bal Harbours best kept secret with amazing views and several dining options. Come at the right time and you are welcomed with thier popular coffee and ice cream service made to order.

Yelp
This was one heck of a trip, we arrived during the historic down pour storm that shut down the Ft. Lauderdale airport which we were complexly unprepared for. Everyone at the Ritz is so kind, nice and accommodating. The restaurant/bar, pool, beach and lobby staff is stellar. I highly recommend staying here, it's fantastic

Yelp
Me and my husband stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbor in Miami Florida this past week. We harder on multiple mornings the Crème brûlée Oatmeal while I was recovering from surgery. Unknowingly, the few times before this incident we just dive in to eat. But on this particular day being fully awake I paid closer attention to our food. There was so many maggot like bugs crawling in and out of the fruit, all on the plate and on top of the oatmeal. We were so disgusted that even without my prescription eye glasses I was able to see this, but the server was not. The hotel was not very apologetic about the finding and literally just took off the breakfast order that day and the day before. If this was on the breakfast the day before that means we ingested it. We stay for over 5 nights and will probably never stay again. This was very disgusting and disturbing. Even the server thought it was very skin crawling, yet he didn't initially see this. Like just wow! Unhappy customer!

Yelp
Rented a day cabana with friends, and I'd say overall the value and quality that we got for the price was not worth it. The day rental only included one measly fruit platter (there was a SINGLE piece of dragon fruit on our plate. Pathetic!) and choice of water/soda for each guest, and the cabana itself was not that impressive. There was only very slow WiFi, which none of the hosts could tell what was the password to us. The TV wasn't working in the cabana. The hot tub was very hot and didn't have any way for us to adjust the temperature--we could only turn off and on the bubbles. The towels laid out on the couches and seats in our individual area were not fresh and looked damp from sitting out for so long. We also had to pay a la carte for all the food, which was tasty and wasn't extraordinarily expensive, but it was just a little disappointing that our ~$500 day pass barely included anything. We also had to pay $5 for valet parking. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Fabulous Ritz Carlton located in Bal Harbor, down the street from Bal Harbor Shops. Exceptional rooms, views and service that you would expect from a Ritz. We had a one bedroom suite that was really well appointed. Will be back.

Yelp
Stayed here for a long weekend for my girlfriend's bachelorette party. Let me tell you, the service they provided went above and beyond! Everyone was extremely polite which I am not used to since I am from Philadelphia. We also had lunch at their Artisan Beach House restaurant. For appetizers, we ordered the pita and hummus and guacamole. For the entree, I ordered the beach house burger. I also ordered the Green juice. All foods were great!

Yelp
This is a fabulous hotel in Bal harbor. A little challenging to get to it first because it's not directly off the road you have to go off the road to get off the road to get to it. Regardless the service is outstanding. The rooms are beautiful. And the views from the outdoor restaurant downstairs we're magnificent. It's a great hotel and I look forward to going back again.

Yelp
The worst Ritz we ever stayed at and even way below a Marriott standard. Lousy lobby, no lobby bar and the single restaurant has a limited menu, and terrible breakfast. Very ordinary hotel and in need of a serious rehab, even the Spa furniture scruffy and torn. Nice beach but the service staff is busy chatting among themselves and to get drinks or food was almost none existent even when renting a cabana for over $ 150. The bathroom amenities are a disgrace for a 5 star hotel, the little desk is full of minibar crab. The balconies are small and the extra for ocean and bay view has traffic noise from the bridge. We are done with Ritz-Carltons....

Yelp
Amazing hotel we were treated like family the moment we walked through the doors we were escorted to a beautiful suite with full amnesties and the treated me and my dog like royalty and I have to give a shout out to Adrienne Jackson the assistant front desk manager she went above and beyond and the restaurant staff was amazing shout out to Jose Gladys and Marlene and Daniel Oh and the chef is amazing that plantain crusted red snapper A winner Thank you Neve Storm

Yelp
Title: An Unforgettable Disaster: A Review of Ritz - Carlton Rating: 1/5 I recently had the misfortune of hosting an event at Ritz - Carlton, and I must say that it was a complete disaster from start to finish. I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service in all my 48 years of life. Allow me to share the nightmarish experience I had with this establishment. First and foremost, upon arrival, I was appalled to discover that large trucks were blocking all entrances, forcing us to unload all our equipment manually. As a disabled veteran, this was particularly challenging for me. To make matters worse, there were no wheeled assistance available, and I had to carry heavy tables, audiovisual equipment, large TVs, and luxury couches up flights of stairs to the long basement hallway. Once we managed to unload everything, we were faced with the absurd task of carrying all the equipment over 100 yards to a service elevator that couldn't even accommodate the large TVs. Picture this: we had to navigate through a narrow kitchen, inconveniencing the cooks and dishwashers who were trying to prepare food. This ordeal took us over two hours, only to realize that the event room was located less than 50 yards from the front door and lobby. It was mind-boggling that we were made to track dirty and filthy boxes and tables through a sterile food preparation area. Unbelievable! To add insult to injury, the restroom facilities were woefully inadequate. When I went to the men's room, I found no toilet paper or paper towels. After bringing this to the attention of the manager, who was painfully slow to respond, they begrudgingly supplied one roll of each for both the men's and women's restrooms. Given that we had over 500 guests coming to the event, this was a complete oversight and showcased a lack of consideration on their part. The restrooms were quickly depleted, and despite numerous requests for replenishment, they were never restocked throughout the evening. The problems didn't stop there. The complaints I heard from attendees ranged from issues with the food and drink service to the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. The hotel staff seemed completely indifferent to the needs and satisfaction of our guests. Our purchased charcuterie was gone within half an hour and was never replenished. To make matters worse, the drink service was abruptly shut off and never resumed. It was evident that the hotel had no regard for the success of our event. To top it all off, during a crucial conversation between the owner and potential clients, the manager rudely interrupted, demanding immediate payment of the bill. This display of unprofessionalism was unacceptable. Furthermore, when we returned five days later to move a grand piano, they charged us an additional fee for retuning it. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction is beyond reproach. I strongly advise against hosting any events at Ritz - Carlton or any other establishment affiliated with this company. They owe us, the workers, compensation for the laborious hours spent hauling equipment through their kitchens., their associated company, also deserves a refund and an apology for the subpar service they received. I am resolved to share this harrowing experience with as many people as possible to prevent others from enduring such a terrible ordeal. It is disheartening to note that even the bathrooms throughout the entire hotel, including the spa, were in a state of disarray and lacked paper towels. This level of negligence is simply mind-boggling. In conclusion, my experience at Ritz - Carlton was the worst I have ever encountered. The unprofessionalism, incompetence, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction were evident at every turn. I implore anyone reading this review to avoid this hotel and its associated properties at all costs. Share this story, warn others, and spare them from enduring a similarly nightmarish experience.

Yelp
Girls Day Spa day and it was AMAZING !! Coordinating events with the Spa Staff Nikki, Nicole, Madrid, Danielle to the recreation staff Milton and Ezekiel was very professional and effortless. The spa is BEAUTIFUL with a Zen appeal. Perfect view in all the right places, quiet enclosed waiting areas. VERY CLEAN and everything you need in case you forget those little extras! I had a facial with ROSARIO !!! The best, she took her time and skin is still soft the day after. Massages shoulders, neck, AMAZING experience!! If you venture out to the pool all I can say is ZIGGY, ZIGGY, ZIGGY, one of our pool hosts!!! He DEFINITELY spoiled us and we appreciate all he did during our stay. The CABANAS are a must, TV, refrigerator only thing missing is a fan. Be on the look out for the iguanas!!!! LOL I definitely will be back

The lamb chops were very flavorful! We all thought that the guacamole had too much lime in it. Lovely views that overlook the water. I would recommend to go at sunset and sit outside!

Yelp
Visiting Miami for a wedding weekend we wanted to mix in relaxation where possible and the Ritz Bal Harbour was a perfect option further north of the high energy party vibe of South Beach. The property is beautiful - rooms, lobby, restaurant, pool and gym. The rooms were comfortably appointed with a great view of the water to take in the sights. We spent one morning at the spa where my wife had a Mani Pedi and I went for a 60 minute massage. Honestly, this was one of the best massages of my life. Relaxed and stress eliminated. We enjoyed our stay - it never felt pretentious - but the staff were so great and energy of the property was perfect.

Yelp
I selected The Ritz-Carlton Bal-Harbor to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday, so we got there without her knowing where we were going... Upon arrival four guys rushed to open the car door, they quickly gathered our belongings and offered us a choice of still or sparkling water. Then we proceeded to the front desk to check-in, which was fast and painless, then we were escorted to our room and all the luggage was delivered. Now in the room I noticed a very nice arrangement of fruits, balloons, cupcakes, and a handwritten "Happy Birthday" card. This was a lifesaving moment since I didn't have the time to buy her a card! The room was immaculate, very clean, convenient, spectacular views with a medium size balcony and awesome bathroom full of glass which allows you to see out while people can see you, if you want that too. Lol, this is true, the windows and sliding doors are clear in and out so you will be seen if choose not to close the electrical blinds. The restaurant had a nice breakfast with a beautiful view of the bay, the quality of the food was very good, great fresh squeezed Orange Juice, coffee wasn't great but just Ok. The first day we were served by Maria, a Puerto Rican lady that was very VERY nice to us, we talked a lot and she offered us Orange Juice to go! To make a very long (happy) story short, everybody at this property is willing to walk the extra mile to make you feel important and happy. They have bicycles free of charge that you can take out and ride around the area. The pool and Jacuzzis are great, and you have ultimate privacy since each tower takes you to a floor with only 2 doors (2 rooms) so we never saw anyone while going in or out of the room. Sometimes we felt like we had the entire hotel to ourselves. My only complaint is with the beach cleanliness, I know this is more of nature's whim than anything else, but one of the reasons I selected this specific location was because of its private beach, and it was almost unusable due to the large amount of seaweed. Something very curious was that only a block north was a public dog beach with absolutely no trace of seaweed. The shape of the intercostal ground makes the seaweed get stuck in front of the Ritz rather than going north. Normally I would have taken off a star, but there were so many positives that I can't do it this time, I will say that the beach has 2 stars but everything else has 5 to 6 (out of 5) so my average is 4.8 - a solid 5! I also want to mention Ronald, the manager of Artisan Beach House Restaurant for being so kind to us by going out his way to accommodate particular requests.

Yelp
Stayed at the Ritz after a wedding in the area. Let's just say this place is amazing. From the minute you walk in the building, you are Wowed constantly. Our room was clean, sleek with modern amenities, spacious as well. The girls in our group spent most of the day at the pool cabanas and on the beach pier right behind the hotel since it is ocean side. We ate once at Artisan Beach House in the building and it was amazing. I would stay here over and over again. The Ritz is walking distance from Bal Harbour Shops and the City of Surfside.

Yelp
Gorgeous location and views made possible by the ocean and inlet. We came during holiday season and marvel at the lengths they go to for their guests to feel merry and bright. They are part of the RC chain and even if they have compromised 1000s of personal accounts to hackers their hospitality is top notch as are their prices. Our bathroom view alone is worth the danger they put my personal info in with this latest hack for Starwood Preferred guests. Fine dining an informal eateries there are options and the are close to the Bal Harbour Shops in a pinch. Spa, pool, amenities like the Nesspresso cafe maker, the little touches including bath loofa make this my home away from home kinda place.

Yelp
The reason I'm giving this is two star review is the customer service I am A Marriot rewards member I have been to W Hotel's and punta mita several other resorts, and I am quite shocked. I live in balharbour and I own a property here. Apparently a new general manager took over and it's gone completely downhill I get several comments from your manager at the beach. Who's been there for years? I'm sorry we can't accommodate sia numbers to the beach. They limited it to hotel members, after paying extra for the membership you are approached m. I felt so offended and not welcome. How are you? etc. I understand not only him but other people are under pressure, but this is disgusting. I think you need to change this new general manager has apparently causing every aspect of the hotel problem I have never seen a ritz or Marriott property with worse service regarding the beach the boys who work there are extremely nice !!!!Lazarus and Ben and a bunch of others. You're just so nice and they always smile they treat you like family as you should be treated I know, people in balharbour who live in the buildings right here are extremely upset and I've seen spa members cancel their memberships I hope you will get a new general manager someone who understands how to respect people, and also live up to the Ritz marriot standards

Yelp
My sisters booked a surprise "day"cation through ResortPass. Absolutely impressed by the day and the wonderful service we received. We had a luxe cabana and it was the perfect amount of privacy while allowing us to enjoy all the other amenities the hotel offered through the pass. The pool area offered beautiful views of the beach. Loves that the cabana offered a shaded bed with a fan, a bed in the sun, a private jacuzzi and hammock. The inclusive fruit platter was fresh and beautiful/ Some things to keep in mind. Wifi service and cell service poor in the pool area. Bring bug spray to prevent mosquito bites; there are bushes surrounding the private cabana area. Ambience: A+ Food: A+ (ate at restaurant) Service: A Drinks: A Cost: B

Yelp
The service that I received at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour was beyond anything I could have ever expected. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a polite and professional valet attendant. I gave him my last name and immediately, without looking at any documentation, he replied, "Tiffani?" This personalized touch warmed my heart. The real kicker though was that at check-in, after thanking me for being a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member, we were informed that we'd been upgraded from the partial ocean view king room to a suite! This was the first time in my life that I'd ever been given a complimentary hotel upgrade. I was so stoked! When I made the reservation, I included in the special requests comments section that the hotel stay was to celebrate a 1-year dating anniversary. To our surprise (after already receiving the upgrade surprise), there were ten chocolate covered strawberries with a heartfelt handwritten congratulatory card waiting for us when we got to our suite. I must say that the added touches really made our celebration more epic. Staying at this property is worth the price.

Yelp
Had a wonderful romantic stay. I find this more of a boutique hotel with excellent staff. Was able to walk to the Bal Harbour shops and rode bicycles on the sandy boardwalk. Fantastic views and white beach. The gym had a great view of the ocean and the room we selected had beautiful views with the bonus of seeing the larger boats and yachts drive by. Will make this Ritz our annual winter stay.

Yelp
Attended a wedding ceremony. The set up was not what I expected no one greeted me aside from valet no directions on to where to proceed. Cocktail hour may have been under staffed. I had to stand in the hot sun for a drink. The bartender didn't have enough help to cater to the guest. So was it really open bar? Next the servers brought out hors d'oeuvres. I had 2 items which were sub par. They may have walked passed but not often enough to provide a variety. The dinner was delectable and I enjoyed it. The placement of wedding ceremony was nothing upscale and the decor was basic. I did arrive late but not sure why staff was still setting up as guest sat in the hot sun. As it was over I had to pay for my car valet even though it should of been included.

Yelp
I loved my (far too short) stay at the Ritz in October in a partial ocean view one bedroom suite. I was greeted at the front valet by the friendliest valet staff, and was led to the main host inside who offered me orange juice, water, or champagne (obviously I took the champs). Check in was seamless, and I was led to my one-bedroom suite in one of the towers. The room was absolutely gorgeous - you enter in to a room lobby (that has an en-suite bathroom), with a living room/gourmet kitchen on one side and the bedroom on the other side. The living room area has a huge wraparound balcony, that I wish I could have enjoyed more, but I arrived at the Ritz to terrible rain/wind storms for the bulk of the stay. Still though, I was able to sit outside for a view minutes with a glass of champagne, and can imagine how perfect it would be to take full advantage of that balcony with better weather. Weird as it may sound, the bathroom off of the bedroom was my favorite spot - there was a deep soaking tub that I took full advantage of, double sinks, and a huge walk in shower. That bathtub was of my dreams, and if you're staying alone like I was, it was the perfect place to unwind, read a book, and have a glass of wine. The overnight parking was $32 - to me, this is par for the course, if not considerably under what I'm used to paying for valet (a different hotel where I stayed in South Beach charged $55/night for valet). The valet also brought my car out no more than five minutes after I requested it (and I walked down vs. called ahead). All in all, the room was beautiful, the on-site restaurant was lovely and had great drinks and breakfast, and the staff was absolutely the epitome of professionalism. I will absolutely stay here again, and this time send up good vibes for great weather!

Yelp
what a gorgeous hotel! I came here to meet someone and afterwards I used the pool area and had lunch at their restaurant called The Artisan beach house. The foyer is old world timely, understated with nice seating areas. The views from the terraces, from the restaurant and pool areas are breathtaking. I could have sat there all day watching the inter causeway with all the boats coming and going, and such a pleasant breeze. All the staff were smiley, friendly and charming. The Artisan was top notch too. I would have loved to give five stars but oh dear.... CONS - The main valet guy was so RUDE! I called for my car, and noticed it was parked right there at the front entrance literally 10 metres away, actually on their turn area.....and said its ok just give me the keys, so I can get it myself!. He was so rude and refused, and I said look I can see the car it is right here, and he was muttering under his breath. His attitude was terrible, so one of his staff went and got it, even though I was right there. I told the main guy " look i am not happy at all, it is brand new (I got the car that morning) and I would rather get it myself, and how ridiculous it was", and he said it's our policy, blah blah blah.. all this whilst he huffed off and was walking away. let me tell you....it was infuriating, rude and ill mannered and I feel management should know...total lack of respect, and what a let down when everyone else working there was wonderful. I bet there are plenty of people who would be honoured to have his job and if I was the mangeress there, he would be gone...PERIOD

Yelp
Located in the affluent neighborhood of Bal Harbour, this Ritz is sure to make you feel comfortable during your trip. Walking alongside the bal Habor streets, this hotel os short walk from the luxurious Bal Harbour shops and its amazing restaurants. Drive south, and you are 20-30 minutes away from south beach. A little further from downtown Miami, but close to Halouver park where you can enjoy the food truck Tuesdays and watch fishermen fillet their fish and feed the rest to the birds. The spa at the hotel is pretty disappointing and the pool is definitely underwhelming. Enjoy a complimentary drink from 3:30-5:30 everyday. The staff are sure well trained and nice. Our room was a little outdated and old, but comfortable.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend for four nights, basically five full days and I really enjoyed my stay. Firstly, the staff is insanely friendly. Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you feel like you and taken care of. Secondly; the pool area and beach are incredible. Although we came during seaweed season, the beach was impeccably beautiful. We loved knowing we could get access to the beach so easily and come back and cool off at the pool or hot tub. Third; the bed and the sheets are the most comfortable thing I've ever felt. Every morning when I woke up and I said wow to myself and am going to see if I can contact the company to buy their sheets online. We also really enjoyed the happy hour everyday from 3 - 5:30 at the downstairs bar. Now here comes the interesting parts. There was limited options for food and drink, and I mean really limited. I guess coming from Texas I'm use to cafes and coffee shops everywhere. However: there is only one small restaurant in the hotel which I hesitate to call a restaurant. One morning I went down to get a coffee to go and I ended up paying $20 for some regular coffee with ice in it. Yup, $20. No options for a chai latte or matcha latte either. Unfortunately one night I had to work a little so I took my laptop down to the restaurant and stayed there for a few hours, I witnessed many couples walking in all dressed up and say "is this the only restaurant you have?". It's a cute place, but not swanky or elegant enough to be selected for a nice dinner. Overall, I felt really restricted when it came to food and drink options. Definitely interesting that there was no separate cafe. I guess that's what happens when you stay at a restaurant with a residence attached. I just feel like for the price, they should expand their options. Especially because it's not easy to walk to any nearby restaurants. The bathroom door never properly shut which was pretty weird because I was staying with family and not my SO. Overall a really wonderful stay. For the exceptional care and beachfront alone, I would definitely come back. I guess being a Marriott titanium member, I'm definitely use to them trying to assist more with upgrades and accommodating us more but there was none of that here.

Yelp
Driving away from an absolutely incredible experience! We have stayed at some beautiful resorts, including the North Miami hotel that is listed as the only 5 diamond award winner for all of North America, and honestly it has nothing on the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour. Service is EVERYTHING! From the moment we walked in -- the concierge was on the job. He had done his research and knew my husband's background, etc. and began talking "shop" with him. This definitely set the tone. After receiving welcoming glasses of champagne, we walked in to our beautiful room where delicious chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle champagne on ice awaited us... At some point in our stay, my husband asked where he might find guava cake-- (he has been on the hunt since a Puerto Rico visit a few years back) The concierge, Felipe, went to work and had a local bakery bake and deliver it to our room-- at their expense. They went so far above and beyond our expectation so many times during our stay-- there are just too many to mention. Every employee was so wonderful -- I have to mention Nashaley though, in guest relations, who also made our stay memorable for not only my husband and me, but our daughter as well. Can't wait to go back again!

Yelp
Hung at the pool and beach horrible horrible food. You would except big thick mouth watering burgers and hand breaded fried shrimp and chicken tenders instead you get paper thin McDonald's like over cooked processed meat Pattie's. The chicken tenders and coconut shrimp are freezer burnt like something you would get at a fast food joint. No way with the prices they gouge you fit. The food and beverage manager is a joke and should be fired. No customer service skills at all. The place is drab and full of left over rich people who still think this is the in spot. 25 a chair snd 25 an umbrella snd they close down at the first sign of a rain cloud.... the staff is hit and miss some are nice and some you can tell are over this place ....when you confront them about the quality of the food they agree its nasty and blame the higher ups trying to cut cost. Don't eat here or use the beach it's a clip joint that is past it's prime and not worth it

Yelp
Enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the Ritz yesterday for my 27th birthday with my boyfriend. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had. The buffet has a yogurt bar with many different flavors of yogurt to choose from accompanied by tons of amazing toppings! They also had a section with smoked salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes, and cream cheese. The smoked salmon was almost crispy along the edges (DELICIOUS!). Pastries and bagels were featured as well. Now aside from the buffet, they have a menu where you will find multi-flavored pancakes, French toast, waffles, eggs, etc. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and they were H E A V E N! Service was impeccable from the moment we arrived up until the moment we left. Special thanks to my server Chichi for being such a sweetheart! When she found out it was my birthday; she went above and beyond for me, to assure my experience was extra special. After breakfast, we lounged at the beach and pool. Service was yet again, EXCELLENT. Everyone is very attentive. Spa is gorgeous, with a zen relaxation room facing the ocean where hot tea and snacks are provided. Let's not forget the heated neck pillows (super clutch). I could go on and on about how great it is, but I won't have any room left to write lol. The day was a success, I LOVED my time here, and the Ritz just earned 2 new regulars!

Yelp
Absolutely the worse vacation experience of my life! Do NOT trust their central booking. I used them to book a stay with my family, I was specific that I wanted connecting rooms as I have a young family. Upon arrival they stated they could not accommodate us and wanted to put my kids on a separate floor or separate us entirely. They were not apologetic at all & we had to rebook at another neighboring hotel. We travel frequently and this is the absolute first time this has happened to us. We are also Marriot Gold members but we're treated nothing like we expected if the brand. I will NEVER stay at another Ritz property. They did not even offer us a drink after knowing that we traveled 5 hrs or apologized in a manner that we felt any sincerity. Our weekend was ruined by the incompetency of this hotel & its staff.

Yelp
I am not one to normally write bad reviews. The food at the waters edge restaurant by the pool was not good. Our food took over an hour and was cold when the waiter finally brought it to our table. We spoke to the manager Hakim, and he did nothing to make the situation right, except offer a $10 off a $250 bill. Definitely will not return and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yelp
I really liked this Ritz! When you arrive your butler (yes I said butler) brings you champagne to your room. I told her I don't drink alcohol. She came back with a tray of the cute little Ritz waters for me. So sweet. Loved her. Loved the whole vibe of the hotel. They call you by name from the time you check in until they put your carry-on back in the Uber. The food def could be better. But everything else is so amazing that I can overlook that. Love you RCBH! I'll be back!

Yelp
This is THE place for breakfast! Go! Enjoy the cool breezes! Enjoy the wonderful, efficient staff! The great service will knock you over! The food is to absolutely die for! Like, go and get a shovel, and dig a big ass hole for your food-grave! You will want to run in the coffin and die! The food is that good! The view is so deserving of praise! It's spectacular! Amazing! Awesome! Gigi is the best waitstaff in the whole place. She is fast! Beautiful! Gracious! She is like the lady on Diner Dash! Amazing! Put her in a video game yesterday! Ashley is a host who is adorable! She greats you with love and care! I came back to this place because the staff is THE BEST! The Ritz Carlton! Yaasss! Let me know your thoughts!

Yelp
I bought a Resort Pass day pass for the pool and beach and I must say... it was the best daycation ever. The pool and beach attendants immediately made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. I will come here any day for another daycation!

Yelp
I realize it's covid but the Ritz doesn't charge like it. Most expensive room I've ever paid for, not ready until 4pm, they tried to double charge me and the service has been up to par for the holiday inn and not a good one. Very disappointed and I've been a gold or higher ritz member for 10 years

Yelp
Incredible hotel in a great neighborhood! We booked a one night stay for my girlfriend's birthday and our entire experience was nothing short of spectacular. For starters, the overall service throughout the property was fantastic. Upon arrival, the valet greeted us with a warm welcome along with a bottle of cold water and once the bags were out of the car, they escorted us into the lobby area to the front desk. We arrived a few hours before the normal arrival time (4pm) so the front desk provided us with key cards that would give us access to the pool and beach areas while we waited for our room to be ready. They also caught wind of it being my girlfriend's birthday so they graciously upgraded us to a 1 bedroom suite. Naturally we couldn't wait to get into our room but while our room was being prepared we strolled down to the beach and walked along the water for a while. The beach access was only steps from the pool area and there even looked to be a walking/running path that followed along the beach. You needed a key card to get back onto the property and since we still had a little time to spare, we posted up at the pool. The size of the pool was fairly generous and there was a variety of seating options all around the pool. The Ritz staff made sure you were properly set up with towels and came around constantly asking if you needed anything. We didn't order any pool-side cocktails but from what other people were ordering, they looked very refreshing! After a few hours we received a call from the front desk that our room was ready. The overall check in process was hassle-free and after a few minutes we were heading to our designated elevator. There are multiple towers with their own elevator access and you need to scan your room key card before selected your room number. I always like this added security step. Our room was on the 17th floor and there seemed to only be 2 rooms per floor, which was a nice privacy feature as you didn't constantly hear room doors slamming shut. Our upgraded room was truly unbelievable! The floor plan was huge and had a separate living room with a very large sitting area with couches, a dining room table/chairs, full kitchen with bar stools up at the counter, and a giant wrap-around patio that overlooked the Haulover Inlet. We spent many hours out on the patio! The bedroom was incredibly spacious with a king sized bed (which was insanely comfortable) and another patio that had a partial ocean view. The bathroom was sized perfectly with a double sink, walk-in shower (with the best water pressure I've ever experienced), a separate bath tub, and a water closet off to the side. There was even a half bath off the entry! The furnishings throughout the suite were in perfect condition and everything was decorated with impeccable taste. After we enjoyed boat watching from our patio we headed out to dinner. We skipped ordering dessert from the restaurant we ate at because we wanted to come back to the hotel's restaurant, Artisan Beach House, so we could try on of their made-from-scratch desserts. We posted up at the bar and ordered their Chocolate Brownie with salted caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. Oh man was it delicious...it was served warmed and everything paired so well together! It was the perfect way to end the night. One other note was their wife speed and performance. Their wifi has great connectivity throughout the property and the speed seemed top notch compared to most other hotels I've started at. Staying at The Ritz never disappoints and this was easily one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The service was impeccable and the accommodations were stellar! This is now the only hotel we'll stay at while in the Miami area!
