The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! Top notch customer service from the moment we stepped in the door! Our suite was absolutely beautiful. Two balconies, full size living room and dining room. Bar fully stocked with premium liquor! We were there on Memorial Day weekend, but that didn’t impact the quality of the service! We were thoroughly impressed and plan to return for a staycation!

Management really understands how to run a hotel. My room was immaculately clean, the service was top notch, the facilities were very nice, and the location was great. There was lots to do within walking distance of the hotel. The Commodore (their bar) was lively and we were enjoyed the live music there. Lastly- and I cannot stress this enough- enjoy brunch at Isabelle's. They currently have a Spring brunch theme that has some of the most delicious cocktails and exquisite desserts I have had in a long time. The atmosphere is delightful and the food is quite good too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm and attentive service. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained with lush gardens and elegant decor that reflects the charm of Coconut Grove. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the bay and the city. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the high-quality linens to the luxurious bathroom amenities. Dining at the on-site restaurant was exceptional — the menu featured fresh, locally inspired dishes, and every meal was prepared to perfection. The cocktails at the bar were also expertly crafted, making for a relaxing evening. The pool area was a highlight, with comfortable loungers, attentive staff, and a peaceful atmosphere. The spa was equally impressive, providing a truly rejuvenating experience with top-notch treatments and skilled therapists. What truly sets The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove apart is the level of service. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, demonstrating genuine care and professionalism. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and impeccably managed escape in Miami, The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove is the place to be. I can’t wait to return!

Our experience at The Ritz-Carlton was amazing! We spent a wonderful week there, and the service was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for by the staff, who were always friendly and professional. The suite were comfortable and well-maintained, with everything at the highest level. They also gave us a lovely gift, making our stay even more special. From Saudi Arabia, we extend our deepest respect and gratitude for the outstanding service. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return! 🤍

The hotel is a very beautiful resort located in a convenient spot in Coconut Grove to reach the local ocean front and the shopping areas by walking within a few minutes. |The staff is very friendly and pro-active to serve your needs. Check-in process was smooth and with a personal touch. |Our room had a good size and a very spacious bath room, everything you would expect from a Ritz Carlton property. The pool has a nice size with several comfortable sun beds. Unfortunately the weather was too chilly to use it, but the area looked very nice and freshly renovated. |When booking this resort please be aware that on the opposite site of the street is currently a construction going on (JAN 2025) which can be heard inside the room from ca. 8:00am until late afternoon. Check with the staff to receive a room not facing the construction site. |Thanks to the whole team for our relaxing stay - we are looking forward to come back!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The staff were outstanding— special thanks to Dialana (apologies if I've misspelled her name) and the bartender at The Commodore for their exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Google
The Ritz is always one of my favorite stays! We brought our service dog, and we were greeted right away kindly. Got some Ritz water and enjoyed the comfy stay at the hotel for a couple days, got to keep the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap in the room, and enjoy a nice balcony with a city view. There is Valet parking and some street parking, walking distance to the shops in coconut grove and there is a dog park near by you can drive to and a park to walk too.

We stayed at this Hotel for our Wedding weekend, which was perfect. The staff and team were extremely accommodating, and the rooms were beautiful. The staff went above and beyond by sending us champagne with a nice note and helping us with anything we needed. I enjoyed the workout facilities as well as the great restaurant and bar, like the Commodore and Isabelle's. Would stay at this hotel again.

Yelp
This review is for the Boutique Spa only. I had a deep muscle massage here today and had the most amazing experience!! First, I thought everything was beautiful - from the entrance, to the hallways lit with chandeliers, to the serene and cozy waiting area. It was also easy to find on the second floor by following the signs. Second, the massage was phenomenal!! I can't remember the technician's name - started with a U or Y. But he did such an amazing job and was so thorough. I felt so relaxed afterward and like so much tension had left my body. Then he offered me a glass of champagne! I was so happy because I didn't realize this was part of the package lol. I stayed in my robe and lounged in the waiting area for another 20-30 minutes. I could have stayed so much longer but had to get home to my child. Oh also, he was super timely. I literally didn't even have to wait after I changed into my robe. Speaking of the waiting area, it was small but in a perfectly intimate and calming way. There was also a sauna for anyone who wanted to partake after their massage, and a shower to clean off before leaving. Also, I thought the locker room was charming. The lockets had automatic keypad locks which were easy to use. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, and welcomed me by name right when I got there. Valet parking was easy, and the spa validated the valet ticket. The only con - I used my Spa Finder card to pay. I actually had a physical card I was gifted recently and a printed out e-gift I still had money on from earlier this year. Unfortunately, she couldn't find a way to run the gift card using just a number so I had to scan my new card.. which is fine.. but I still have a balance on my e-gift card I'd like to use. Regardless, I would highly recommend this spa! (Side note.. I walked by their restaurant, Isabelle's on the way out and it was gorgeous. I've heard their brunch is great, and it seems like it would have been the perfect way to wrap up this spa day if I'd had time!)

Yelp
3 Stars for a disappointing spa facility (I didn't stay at the hotel, just booked a spa service), but a good massage and a great location. I booked a couple's massage for my birthday while I was in Miami and was very excited because the Ritz Spa in Orlando is one of my favorite spas I've ever been to. Unfortunately, this spa is MUCH smaller and not anywhere near as nice as the Orlando version. First thing to note is that it's a bit tricky to find the spa entrance when you enter the building. Not to worry, staff was able to direct us. Eventually we found the entrance (same floor/terrace area as the pool). The check-in area is very small, so you may feel crunched if there are several parties waiting to check in. We were guided inside once we checked in, with men going in one direction and women in another. They didn't have enough staff at the front, so the gal leading us in wasn't used to giving a quick tour and had some trouble. On top of that, the bathrooms in the women's locker/waiting area were broken, so we couldn't use them (eek). I'll be honest I expected a lot more from the space. The waiting area was one tiny room with a couple of chairs and tea/apples and there was a bowl of some candy when we walked in. It wasn't very calming and certainly didn't have room for relaxation (just a literal waiting room). The showers were old and I felt uncomfortable with the cleanliness... The massage itself was lovely, and I really appreciated the pressure used and the masseuse checking in throughout. With that being said, I honestly didn't want to stay inside the spa area any longer than I had to, so all the time before and after the massage was spent by the pool (with screaming kids around us lol). We enjoyed the pool access you get with the spa, but the pool was also pretty old and not the kind of luxurious feeling I'd expect. The cabanas were great though, and they definitely looked newer. Overall, the interior spa space felt more like it was geared towards people wanting to get a quick service, but definitely not a place to go for a day of wellness and hanging at the spa with friends. I imagine it's tough given the huge space limitations because of the location (the Orlando Ritz is in the middle of nowhere with as much room as they want for a massive facility), and I very much appreciate the location and walkability to great restaurants. Still, I'm unlikely to return and spend Ritz prices for this experience.

Yelp
We had a chance to preview the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove last Sunday. We had reservations at Isabelle's for the Madhatter's Sunday Brunch. We did not stay here, but we would consider it in the future for a stay-cation. I loved the decor, the high quality of everything, the courtyard, and the ambiance. Our brunch at Isabelle's was very good.

Yelp
We have been traveling all day and stayed here for our layover until our flight in the morning. As we arrived the bell man came and greeted us. He helped us with our luggage and escorted us to the reception desk. The hotel looked nice. Our room looked like a standard room. It wasn't as clean as it should have been. I found some hairs on the bathroom counter. Not good. I really think that is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. They should be better. Especially, for what they charge for the room. This made me think if other things in the room are clean. Overall, we did have a nice stay.
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Arrived late because of our airline travel. The bell man was very nice and helped with our luggage. They recognized our status and upgraded our room to a better view, but it was only of the front area where the flags were. The room was nice, but my wife found hair on the bedside table. When I went to the bathroom, there was no soap. They gave us 3 bath towels, but I had requested at least 4. Otherwise, we were pleased with the room

Yelp
Out of all the Ritz Carlton's I've been to this has been the least appealing. The decor is very nice don't get me wrong but it was missing something. Stayed here during the weekend. The front lobby decor is very nice. The bar area is often full with guest although it's small. The direct access to the beach was the best part. We dined at all the restaurants on the property and the food was good. The couples massage booked at the spa was very nice. We only booked a 60 minute massage and regretted not booking longer. The amenities and showers in the spa's are clean and nice also. I picked out a new bathing suit in the gift shop that was too cute to not buy. I would probably try the other Ritz in Miami next time.

Yelp
I had a pretty good time at this hotel. The service was excellent from Laura at the front desk. She made my stay a wonderful experience. The room was elegant but the walls are thin so I was able to hear people in the other room beside me. I didn't like that the pool was heated since it was so hot outside. The service at the pool could've been better because I didn't know you can order from your chair until 5:50 and the bar closes at 6.

Yelp
5 star ambience, 5 star service, 5 star price to value: An astoundingly beautiful unique Ritz Carlton, right in the heart of one of Miami's hippest neighborhoods. As Ritz Carltons go this one is also reasonably priced (no es barata papi / they're never cheap, buddy : ) 5 star ambience: Every Ritz Carlton I've ever been inside is opulent with great service. This one adds uniquely Miami Coconut Grove touches, like ivy growing up the side of the front entry porch and open air courtyards that are part of the public rooms. There's a sort of glowing blue fountain outside, with views up through a modernist trellis...it all feels modern, swanky, tropical and Miami hipster all at the same time. 5 star service: The staff is also sunny with a friendly laidback vibe. Everyone from the doorman to the front desk to random staffers in the hallway was helpful and sweet. Even for a luxury hotel, it was a remarkable experience. 5 star price to value: As mentioned above, Ritz Carltons are never known for being a bargain. A last minute booking deal of roughly $300 all-in pricing was a very good deal for this quality and neighborhood.

Yelp
Amazing property! Our flight out of Palm Beach was canceled due to monsoon-like weather and so we rescheduled and drove to Miami to spend a night. Used points and stayed here at the Ritz and it was such a perfect respite! Got upgraded to a suite which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adult kids). Such a fabulous treat and experience!! Relaxed, wore our robes and slippers, and felt pampered. Had a delicious dinner at the restaurant downstairs, Isabelle's! Recommend the NY Strip! Every single employee here was phenomenal and made us feel so welcomed, from the valet and bellhops to the front desk and restaurant. Superb! Just wish the rain had gone away and we could have taken advantage of the spectacular pool!! Would definitely stay again!
google avatar

Yelp
5 star hotel for sure. Everything from the front desk to the room was first rate. The in house restaurant was very good. Wish there was coffee available throughout the day though. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. There is a Marina and a park across the street also. Room was very clean. Every room has a balcony. Bathrooms are spacious as well. Beware of the honor bar in the room, crazy expensive!

Cathy W.

Yelp
Amazing stay! We just stayed at the hotel and it was fantastic. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in and I'm picky. The staff everywhere were pleasant and eager to help. We look forward to our next stay

Yelp
I am presently staying at this hotel. I am booked to say here another evening and debating checking out early. The problem is when you book at a Ritz Carlton you expect 5 stars and when you get 3 stars it's annoying because you are paying 5 star prices. At check in, I opened the door to the hotel. Not a 5 star entrance. There simply was not the elegance you expect and pay for. While the people at check in inside the hotel were alert, that's where the experience ends. I'm in a suite and the room is a good size but the room looks aged. The floors are scratched and it looks like Stevie Wonder did the tiling. I called 3x in 45 minute to get a laundry pick up and had to beg someone to pick it up. 1/2 of the power outlets in the suite did not work. The phones look old and dirty and the locks on the doors did not work. I'm constantly gong to the main room to control the air in the master bed room and why does it feel like this hotel was last renovated in 1989? I would have thought that Ritz Carlton has certain standards. Clearly, they don't. Not impressed, This hotel sucks. Major disconnect with management. Feels like all the patients are running the asylum.
google avatar

Jonathan V.

Yelp
***Marriott Bonvoy SOS*** Run down and dated property which is in immediate need of renovation and upgrades. Room 318 had a messy and old patio with an industrial view. Shower did not work. Phone did not operate with concierge and room service button options. It took several attempts for service recovery with front desk, engineers, & supervisor. This experience created a lot of friction and anxiety. I missed the conference breakfast and was late for the first presentation. I was eventually moved to another room, after several phone calls and insistence with them on providing real-time service recovery. It's interesting that they told me this was an upgrade for my inconvenience, but it was the same room on a different floor. This was most certainly not an upgrade. The manager was very professional and helpful and was trying her best. It sounds like the franchise owners of this property don't want to fund renovation and upgrades. I'm very surprised that this property is allowed to be classified as a Ritz Carlton. Discerning consumers expect much more for an elevated luxury experience.

Yelp
Nice spot. Very cool speakeasy bar downstairs called the Commodore. Room service good.

Yelp
I didn't actually stay here as an overnight guest, but I did have a chance to visit my best friend and her husband's room while they were in town.. The hotel's anesthetics are really really nice. I loved the marble countertops in the bathroom, and the added patio was also a plus! However, I didn't quite understand the hype. I've stayed at similar hotels for much cheaper rates, which is why I am giving them 4 rather than 5 stars.. The service at the pool and in the lobby was stellar, but still very much overpriced! $15 for two glasses of pineapple juice (no alcohol included). I'm glad I got the chance to see this establishment for myself. (FYI: I've heard they have a very affordable military discount!)
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
We enjoyed our stay here overall even with a couple negatives. I feel it's more business oriented than resort style. If you want more resort style I would recommend staying at the Ritz in Biscayne Bay. The front desk staff isn't very friendly but the valet employers were really nice. We ordered room service and ate breakfast at Isabelle's. The food and service was great. As well as the poolside service. The only other negative was the fact that we could hear everything in the next room and hallway. It doesn't make it any better when your room is by the elevator. We woke up multiple times in the middle of the night due to a loud television, talking etc.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
This is a different Ritz but we enjoyed it. I guess maybe I was expecting more resort-style but it's a pretty quiet hotel in Coconut Grove. It was pretty inside everyone was nice. We experienced no issues.
google avatar

Rajiv K.

Yelp
Friendly and efficient valet. Nice lobby. Welcoming staff! Very Ritzy ambiance as you'd expect with the brand! They have a nice, classy bar called the Commodore - worth a drop in!

Yelp
We've stayed at various Ritz Carlton's, we love the service, the amenities at every past stay. We were really excited to be able to spend the night at the Miami Coconut Grove Ritz. Unfortunately our expectations were not even close to being fulfilled. After checking in we headed down to the pool, there was at least 6" of water in a plugged drain past the gate. Everyone had to walk through that to get into the entrance. The water was still there Monday morning. I am not in hotel maintenance but a small pump and even a broom to push the water out would of helped. 8 o'clock in the morning laying in bed the fire alarm went off. We were both worried that there could be a fire in the building, so we threw on clothes grabbed a few personal items and headed out to the hall towards the stairs. Once we got in the hall the only place that the alarm was ringing was in our room. We went to the phone by the elevators where we called the front desk, the girl said they would send somebody right up. We waited in the hall and 10 minutes later the alarm shut off and still nobody from maintenance arrived. We headed back in the room where we waited another 20 minutes or so then made another call to the front desk. They said they would send somebody right up. Half hour later still nobody showed so we called the front desk and said we were headed down to the pool. We figured somebody would stop in and tell us what the issue was. Sitting by the pool there was too many young kids screaming and noise and at this point we were just frustrated. We gathered up our belongings from the room, checked out and decided to go to the beach. My wife stopped in at the front desk as we were checking out and asked to speak with the manager. She spoke with The Assistant Rooms Executive, Lawrence Von Rumohr just to explain that our fire alarm had gone off which really ruined our morning, as you can imagine, and stressed us out not knowing why the alarm was going off. We made 3 calls, nobody ever came up nor did they tell us what the problem was or to offer an apology. It didn't seem like anybody really cared about our safety, which left us leaving frustrated over this special stay we wanted. Lawrence had already knew we were very upset so he offered to refund our parking and one drink from the pool bar. He also stated we should be credited for the award night certificate we used for this stay and was reaching out to Bonvoy to get that taken care of. We followed up 2 days later and he asked that we gave him another day. That was 10 days ago. Lawrence has not returned any other communication with us. This has been far from the experience we thought we would have at a Ritz property. The rooms are nice. The one guy at the pool plus the guys at valet were nice to talk with. This property is really more of a business hotel over the resort feel we are used to at the Orlando location. We love Orlando and have stayed here over 7 nights. One pool, and no hot tub. We would not even consider this facility close to the same class as other Ritzs properties we have been too.

Ria L.

Yelp
When calling the front desk or room service nobody answers. It rings and rings. Day 1 nobody cleaned our room. This Ritz is is sub par

M B.

Yelp
Commodore bar is a cozy, hidden gem. The perfect spot for quiet drinks because it's not a Miami scene. The restaurant outside is average.
google avatar

Chuck E.

Yelp
It is what it is; You pay for everything, so it keeps out the riffraff. Convenient to many local restaurants. I personally like the one on Key Biscayne, but that's just me.
google avatar

Anthony C.

Yelp
The restaurant is mediocre, but the drink prices are outrageous. $47 for a double Tito's and soda. Do not order alcohol at any of the restaurants or bars in this hotel.

Bradd B.

Yelp
Lawrence, Victoria, and the entire team were incredibly kind to our family who was in town for the day after getting off a cruise. They went over the top to ensure our kids were cared for and helpful with amenities around the facility. Thank you!

Yelp
Great property in the quiet Coconut Grove area of Miami. From the time I pulled into the driveway everyone was attentive and helpful. As an Amex platinum I was able to get an upgraded room to partial bay view on 8th floor the room was well appointed with the most amazing bed. Went to the bar at Isabelle's for a drink and the bartender Christian made some excellent espresso martinis. He was a nice conversationalist which was appreciated as well. In the lobby that evening they did a little tasting, since it was national wine night they sampled 3 reds and whites it was a nice Duckhorn merlot, We ate dinner off property at Strada it was ok. Went down to Isabella's for breakfast and enjoyed the Avocado toast with a side of fruit and cappuccino it hit the spot and was delicious. Unfortunately it was rainy so I didn't get to enjoy the pool during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel, it's a bit quieter which I appreciate and service is top notch.

Kalema B.

Yelp
Would not recommend. Horrible experience. Didn't check in until the morning (around 2/3am) after attendant insisted on a incidental hold or I couldn't "go upstairs to my room". Was told there are alot of "frauds". I felt my concerns were not taken seriously, didn't find a manager to speak to until I researched on my own. I wouldn't recommend staying, didn't feel welcomed at all.
google avatar

Jed B.

Yelp
Excellent stay. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Very friendly and top notch service. One of our better Ritz experiences. Even up until our departure when our toddler was less than pleased with leaving, our thoughtful bellhop ran and grabbed a Ritz teddy bear for her. Not only did it immediately calm her down, but she snuggled with it the for the 5 hour flight back. Thank you for a great time!

Yelp
The Ritz-Carlton has a commitment to service that time and time again beats any competitor. This experience strengthened my view on their philosophy. I decided to book a massage/facial package for the Miami Spa month and booking was seamless. I called the number provided and an pleasant experience as they guided me through the options. My first option was available which I loved since sometimes booking a massage means weeks of wait time! Once I arrived, everyone from valet to doorman to spa concierge were incredibly attentive and polite. Although I was not a staying guest at the hotel I was treated as such every step of the way. The spa room is quaint but a nice relaxing atmosphere. You have private locker rooms and bathrooms, a shared relaxing lounge, showers, and a steam room and sauna. The lounge offers infused water, hot tea, fruit, and a couple treats. I was also offered champagne! The massage was incredible. The masseuse has a talent in knowing the right pressure in which areas. The facial was also nice and through but the massage definitely stood out. I highly recommend it! All in all, this experience was above and beyond. I highly recommend visiting The Ritz-Carlton in Coral Gables. You won't regret it!

Yelp
The staff is first rate. Geovanny in Guest Services knows everything about anything you could possibly need or desire. While renovations are making updates the Commodore bar is still the best place around for a hand crafted old fashion.

Justin Y.

Yelp
-Room was OK (ie there is a large barren balcony with two chairs, hair in the shower) -service was OK (they are understaffed due to lower occupancy so even a bell boy would take several hours to get something) -all restaurants are closed, and they do not make this clear when making a reservation. Had we known this, we would not have stayed here. Note that, in FL restaurants are allowed to be opened at limited occupancy, and the other Ritz restaurants in the area are opened. As such, it's not like we should have assumed that this is the case. Finally, if you are thinking of staying here because of your status with ritz/Marriott, I would suggest otherwise. There do not recognize your loyalty at all.

Yelp
If only they had access to the bay... This luxurious hotel is known for its high-end finishings, plush furnishings, recognizable service with its fancy bar and restaurants. Room service is certainly a treat. I stayed here overnight last month and enjoyed the stay very much. My room was amply decorated with enough space to walk around and store my belongings without intruding on my sleeping space. The mattress was soft as the pillows soaked up my long day quite blissfully. The hotel has everything and iré when it comes to amenities. The spa is the tranquil destination I aimed for but we'd up at the bar for liquid therapy instead. I didn't have to park my car here so I avoided the extra fee but keep in mind this is an expected cost which is billed at a daily rate. The front desk checked me in quickly and I was settled within no time. If you're staying in Coconut Grove, this is the epicenter of luxury just note that it's not beachfront.
google avatar

Greg W.

Yelp
Very good location but facilities are a bit lacking for the price. I can't help but compare this to the Key Biscayne Ritz. There, you are much more isolated... at least without a car. Coconut Grove is still in the middle of a rebuild but there are lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance to this property. +1 Coconut Grove Ritz. But that's pretty much where the advantages end. The property is fairly small - mostly catering to corporate meetings and weddings. The rooms are on the smaller side but nice enough. There is a small gym with up to date equipment. There is one main restaurant and one main bar so not a lot of options. Key Biscayne has multiple restaurants and multiple pools but again is more isolated, so take your pick. Only one pool for the hotel means it is basically a children's pool... 3 days out of 3 we were splashed by children jumping in the pool.... and had to listen to screaming all day. It happens, but they should at least enforce the no diving in the pool policy if they're only going to have one pool. The service at the pool was also lacking --- the staff overall was such a mix, some very helpful and a lot of people who just didn't care. The staff and vibe are just better at Key Biscayne for whatever reason. Overall it is fine, but once the price creeps north of $500/night I would look elsewhere.

Yelp
This was actually my first experience with the Ritz. I have to say it was excellent customer service and excellent service. I loved the location it wasn't in the heart of everything more like a quiet upscale neighborhood. I could literally walk out on the balcony day and night and all I would hear was the breeze blowing. No cars honking no loud music no trains. Just a relaxing stay and not far from the middle of everything. For me hotels always have pluses and minuses, sometimes I don't want to feel like a tourist and other times I do. I know right make I need to make up my mind and stop playing. For sure I would stay at this Ritz again I might try the one on south beach also. The pool here is lovely, it wasn't all that sunny for my stay but I still checked it out. You know how southern Florida stays in May, rain rain go away please come back another day.

Yelp
A hiccup that creates a loyal customer is one I'll take any day!!!!! Please find attached email sent to the Front Office Manager at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove, FL. I thank you for your "on top of it" approach to customer satisfaction. In fact, I must tip my hat to your entire team at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove. From prior to check-in with a call ensuring your resort had a Tesla charge, to the moment of arrival where Shaylee greeted us with the biggest smile, we instantly felt like we were staying with family. The small hiccup with the room reservation, was addressed immediately by Shaylee personally greeting us outside the room and offering another option that was more than sufficient. She took control of the situation, which I'm sure allowed you to perform your duties better to ensure a five star customer review. Shaylee offered us a couple cocktails at the bar, which unbeknownst to us we would spend the entire evening listing to an amazing band by the name of "Guerra Grooves". I must thank you for you wiping the bill clean at this bar. A cost of only pennies to a company your size, yet a bill of this nature to a consumer, ensures a customers return like no other. I can't suggest a single thing that was done with any less of a standard than the Ritz level. Your entire staff (most importantly Shaylee) really stepped up, when they were never asked to, and made sure that I will absolute stay at your resort time and time again. Shaylee even offered cruise port parking at your facilities. Your valet staff (Junior & Randy), made sure that I was at ease and on vacation while not having to worry about my beautiful vehicle while I was away. I can't thank you enough for your email, your kindness, and your entire staffs professionalism to caring. It shows, and it's appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!

Yelp
I was treated like one would expect at the Ritz, wonderful experience! More than helpful staff, free upgrade for my platinum Marriott rewards membership. The room was fantastic, clean, and well taken care of. When I come back to Miami, this will be the first place I check for availability.

Yelp
Second time around and it's just like I remember it being the first time. It's beautiful and intimate. The location itself is great, away from traffic and crowds. AND The turn down service with Maria was pleasant. I'll definitely will be coming back. P.s they're are so many delicious places to eat !

Yelp
Good location as it is a mere 6-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in the area. Quite safe neighborhood. The gym is a bit dated but has complete machines and equipment. Pool is quite small but not bad as well.

Yelp
The service at this hotel is well below what you would expect from a ritz. The hotel staff is rude and not helpful.

Yelp
This review is for the spa only. I booked one of their packages offered during Miami spa month. The package included a 50 minute facial and 50 minute massage. I arrived around 30 minutes before my appointment. I enjoyed the sauna and steam room before the treatments started. Thomas did my massage, and it was fantastic! Honestly, one of the best I've ever received. I even booked another appointment with him before I left. The facial was also nice, and the esthetician (Marcela) was informative and took her time. I can't wait until my next visit!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for the first time for our nieces fifteens this past weekend. We checked in Friday night and checked out Sunday afternoon. Our stay from beginning to end was absolutely perfect. From the valet gentlemen to the bellhop, room service and turn down everything was top notch. Friday night after checking in we were informed about the events in the area and the hours of the restaurants and bar. Diego took us up to our room along with our luggage and showed us all the ins and outs of the room. My husband absolutely loved the complimentary Nespresso machine in the room. Ana and Maria were absolutely great about keeping our room tidy, organized and fully stocked. The chocolate pillow mints were so good! The room was a good size and the bed was so comfortable. Cleanliness was perfect and I loved the bathroom organization. The tub was spacious enough and the stand up shower had great water pressure, which is a must. Friday evening we stepped out and walked to Cocowalk, which is about 7 minutes away by foot so nice and convenient. We made our way to the small shopping area and took in a movie at Cinepolis. When we got back to our room we filled out the brochure that you hang on the door for in room dining for an early breakfast. They arrived on time and the presentation was exquisite. The food was delicious. My husband had an omelette and I had the Canadian eggs Benedict, both plates came with a side of potatoes and we split an order of the brioche French toast. The coffee wasn't as good as the Nespresso machine but the fresh lemonade hit the spot. When they bring you your food it comes with enough condiments such as ketchup, Dijon mustard, butter etc. and several slices of whole grain bread. They also bring you water even though the room offers complimentary water bottles. We stepped out of the hotel for a bit and before making our way down called to valet for our car, when we got to the front lobby our car was waiting for us ready to go. Once we arrived back at the hotel we stopped by the bar/dinner area in the lobby and ordered the pork belly tacos along with a Cuban sandwich and a lemonade then later on a mojito. Service was great and the food came out rather quickly. The area was pretty quiet for it being the lobby so I didn't mind. Our nieces fifteens that night was in the ballroom and it was beautiful and amazing! The service was great and the bathrooms were clean and fully stocked the entire night. Sunday night was our check out day so we woke up and packed up but wanted to go downstairs for their brunch so once packed I went ahead and called down for someone to pick up our bags and checked out. I was excited for brunch since I am a brunch buffet kinda gal! I was a bit disappointed when we got downstairs though, the selection wasn't that grand for such a great hotel. They offer an omelette station, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, mini pancakes and waffles on one side along with different types of mini muffins and different rolls. A mimosa bar, ceviche and raw sushi. On the other side there was wild rice, chicken, salmon and veggies. Then the dessert table offered many types of desserts but to me the only flavorful one was the flan. Service at the restaurant was amazing as well. Overall I was very pleased when we left the hotel, very memorable stay. Staff was very helpful and genuinely looked happy to please us, even when we asked for our car seat from the car parked in valet and asked for needle and thread Sunday morning. Huge thumbs up to Diego, Ana and Maria! This is a must stay if your in Coconut Grove!!!

Yelp
I was honestly not impressed by this hotel. Seemed run down, the pool was dirty and the fixings in the pool we're rusty. Staff and service was excellent the entire time given that it is still the Ritz-Carlton. Bartenders Carlos and Eddie really took care of us poolside the whole trip which was honestly the best part. But overall the hotel seemed outdated and run down. The location was the best part with the Coco walk and plenty of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Construction was also going on next door the entire time which is not fault of the Ritz but that was noisy and took away from the relaxation.

Yelp
My wife and I are just back from my 3rd anniversary trip in Miami and Ritz Coconut Grove is a wonderful part of our journey. They honor our status as Gold Elite and Silver Elite, and reach out to us 2 weeks before our trip to accommodating our needs. We feel very welcomed and satisfied with their customer services. The atmosphere and architecture at this Ritz is very unique, modern, and sparkling clean. They also have the best pool view ever!!! They follow social distancing and cleaning process really well - everyone wear masks and respect other privacy. One thing to notice is that they only offer Valet parking. We are not comfortable with somebody else drive our car so we are against this during the pandemic time. Thus we need to clean our driving seat and steering wheel after they deliver the car, and it's not convenient at all. However, it is just a minor issue and we still enjoy the time at Ritz. Highly recommend this place if you look for a quiet and beautiful oasis in this party city!

Yelp
Welcoming, beautiful, excellent staff! Was here for a wedding. Let me start with the staff remembers your name. We were here for just two nights. Every corner is elegant and those fews spots that maybe are not totally as fancy or met with the views of some of the fancier Ritz Carltons world wide are made up with the staff and amenities waiting for you.....mango ices, sun tan lotion, apples, whatever, its there and awaits, your needs are anticipated! Love this convenient location, cool vibe and elegant hotel!!!!

Yelp
Great hotel and property in Miami's Coconut Grove. Renovation has almost been completed. Nice swimming pool, but the gym was a little bit dated. Maybe one part that the renovation effort has not yet reached. Excellent conference facilities, with nice food (lunch and dinner). Also attentive service in conference facilities with fruit, coffee and cookies. One employee (Aurelien Saint Gal) was very helpful in arranging an Uber at departure because the street outside was blocked by the police. In all, a highly recommended hotel, especially for conferences.

Yelp
The valet took a while and parts of the hotel need to be refurbished but overall I am a fan. The lobby is so inviting! I would wake up every morning excited to have coffee and work by the fireplace. I love that they have complimentary coffee that tastes great too! The rooms are fantastic, spotless & with great beds. All the staff members are sweet, energetic & helpful. I witnessed a quick staff meeting, they were such a happy team. You can really tell they are proud to work there. They make you feel so welcomed. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Just spent 4 nights here with the family. What a great experience. From the moment we checked in, the staff was completely attentive. I don't know what type of occupancy the hotel had but the staff went above and beyond. First, walking through the lobby was quite an experience - beautifully decorated lobby with soothing christmas music playing. They gave our 3 kids a stuffed animal and a cookie. My wife and I then took a check-in glass of champagne! Check in was a breeze - the bell man (Carlos) was super friendly. They upgraded (Marriott Gold) us to a suite with partial bay view and the room was great. Nice sized pull out for the older kids and a plush king size for my wife and I. Incidentally, housekeeping not only cleaned the room but they neatly folded the kids' clothes! What an unexpected surprise! Breakfast was fantastic. Kids' menu offers a nice variety and the adult menu, although expensive, was fantastic. But, if breakfast is included due to status, I highly recommend trying everything! Valet was super responsive and quick. Anyway, if you're looking to stay in the Grove, I highly recommend this place. Only CON: The hotel is highly air conditioned throughout. I think my kids got a bit sick going from the pool to the room even though they were wrapped in towels. My recommendation to the hotel is to ease up on the AC (it was December!) throughout the lobby, hallways, etc.

Yelp
The renovated rooms are beautiful. Hotel is in a great location in coconut grove. The commodore lounge has amazing drinks and entertainment. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. Special thanks to Isabel in the front desk for a wonderful greeting and making our stay extra special.

Yelp
Was able to get a wonderful spa package during Miami Spa Month (because why pay more), and it was a dream. I love that the Ritz-Carlton includes amenities, valet parking and a free mimosa with their spa deals. My friend and I made the appointments for 3 pm, so we could enjoy the amenities before. Hanging out by the pool was extremely relaxing and the cute pool boy who served us made it that much more enjoyable. When we were done, we made our way to the locker room to do a sauna, steam, shower mixture a few times before relaxing on the couch with our drinks while waiting for our masseuses. I got the "Knot" to Worry package which included a 50 minute massage and 25 minute mini facial. It was very relaxing and calming. I like the pressure to be higher and I have certain spots that needed more attention, so I just had to tell her. It was one of my best massage experiences. The entire staff is helpful and on top of their game. I wanted change to tip the valet, but the girl at the front desk of the spa didn't have any. So she made a call to the concierge and we were able to break the bill quickly and easily. Loved, loved, loved this place!!!
