We decided to stay the night to celebrate our 31st anniversary. It’s a major step down from last year when we stayed at the over water bungalow at Sandel’s South Coast. Even though it was $400 less a night (Still over $600, not all inclusive, no butler service.), I’ll have to say I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the room and the overall up keep of the Executive Suite. Threadbare furniture, dirty window sills, and furniture with various scratches and dents on the wood furniture. Also, lighting didn’t work on one side of the bed, and over head lamps were crooked. Not sure if this was due to pets being welcomed or not. The service has been excellent but the room quality has drug down the overall rating. They provided the spa and romance package requested with an early Check in. I would not necessarily say this is a five star quality hotel. I’ve seen better quality at four star hotel in various locations. Doubtful we will return. The Ritz hype, other than the service, just hasn’t been worth the expense. We will probably look elsewhere for our next “staycation”.

The overall atmosphere within the hotel is calm and refined, well suited for business travelers or those seeking a tranquil retreat. The lobby is stark and modern, intentionally minimalist, and the on-site dining option, a sports bar, is well staffed but limited in scope. The surrounding neighborhood lacks energy and visual interest, situated in a municipal district with few nearby attractions or nightlife. While this is no fault of the hotel, it may feel isolating for leisure travelers. From a service and amenity perspective, the Ritz-Carlton Denver excels. For guests prioritizing comfort, quiet, and impeccable hospitality, it performs beautifully, and I would gladly return for the service alone.

I recently stayed at this property and encountered a troubling pattern of service disparities and dismissive management responses. While the hotel was not at capacity, I was assigned to a room on the 6th floor, which had ongoing construction, a less favorable view, and was not given the same attention as other guests with similar room types. The night-service notes left by the staff were not provided to me, and I observed other guests receiving different accommodations without clear justification. Valet service was consistently late or unavailable, requiring me to seek assistance repeatedly. More disturbingly, I overheard guests making derogatory remarks about my race and occupation, and when I attempted to document the situation, staff members accused me of causing trouble. One guest explicitly used demeaning language toward me, which left me feeling unsafe and unwelcome. I reported these concerns to management and hotel staff, but there was no apparent follow-up or accountability. Attempts to contact management by phone resulted in hold times, dropped calls, or messages that were not returned, and I have not received any direct communication for a week. This level of discrimination and the lack of timely resolution are completely unacceptable. I am requesting a formal investigation and an appropriate response from senior management, as well as assurances that corrective steps will be taken to prevent recurrence. I will also be notifying corporate offices to ensure this matter is addressed.

The hotel itself is pretty nice and the staff is good but the hotel policies are what I would expect from a budget hotel, not a five star hotel. They nickel and dime you every chance they get: * Parking is not included and is pretty expensive * Same for internet * Same for spa facilities (whirlpool and steam room) * They don’t let you use the gym after checkout All of this ends up adding up so things that are included in lots of hotel fees, end up making the stay much more expensive. At a five star hotel I would expect to just pay the fee and be able to enjoy the amenities (like you can at the Four Seasons nearby). Pros: * Nice rooms * Food was good * Spa is actually pretty nice

It was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. Thank you especially Jocie from front desk and thank you housekeeping team! Valet was always so welcoming, the best valet service I have seen. The spa pass was great. I had hours of fun, they had teas I’ve never even heard about, snacks, lounging rooms and even the showers felt luxurious. We went to Elways twice for the bar then dining. As a foodie, it was a pleasurable experience. I was in heaven when I tried their lobster Mac and cheese. Overall I love this property and their staff!

I attended a very enjoyable Candelight Concert with the music of Coldplay and Imagine Dragons provided by a 4 string ensemble of cello, viola and 2 violins. The Ritz-Carlton was a great venue accentuating the talented artists and the candlelight ambiance of the concert. I'm already looking forward to finding my next event in this exquisite space. Everyone encountered was extremely welcoming and professional too!

The moment I walked in to this hotel, it literally felt like I was coming home from a long trip. The welcoming felt extremely warm! All the staff are phenomenal, from the valet, Dawson and Tom to the front desk who are all bright eyed and happy to greet. Nieve & Nicole are extremely pleasant to deal with. You can tell that they are very happy and don’t treat this like a boring job. They actually make you feel comfortable and make your stay very relaxing without any hesitation. I travel a lot, but have yet to find a staff like this whom I feel I’ve known for a long time. They are very helpful!

The is hotel is a business hotel in downtown Denver. The lobby is devoid of color and stark/modern. The staff as usual at a Ritz Carlton were all incredible. The rooms are very nice and spacious. There was very little energy in the area near the hotel that we could see. There is a massive vacant lot over which our room looked. Not the hotel’s fault of course but the neighborhood is not what we expected.

Had a wonderful first experience at the ritz carlton spa in denver. Althena was very welcoming and provided my sister and I with larger robes (L/XL) to ensure we were comfortable because the standard robes are more M/L. The space is small and the hot tub is small but overall was an enjoyable experience. My esthetician Lauren was very friendly and calming and my sisters esthetician (Belle?) was very friendly. She made her feel very pampered by acknowledging and celebrating her upcoming wedding which I was very thankful for. I only wish the steam room worked better and that we can pick our own music for the service (JW Marriott did this at a spa). Would return though based on great customer service.

My friend surprised me for a mom's night out complete with a spa day featuring a massage and custom facial. The services were amazing and the ambiance was so relaxing, but there are a few things that could be improved upon. First, towels and robes were not size inclusive. I am not unusually large, but the robe barely fit and trying to find a towel to wrap around my body was next to impossible. I was able to relax during my services but during my lounge time I was constantly trying to make sure I was covered. I expect a place like the Ritz and it being 2024 to be more aware of different body sizes. Remember plus size girls love a spa day too!

Needs a facelift- chairs near the vanity and in the relaxation room were dirty/stained. Baseboards throughout the women's room were broken and had paint chipped. Shower water temperature could not be made hot... at the Ritz Carlton you expect top tier and that is just not this spa.

My husband gifted me a lovely day at the spa. I've visited this spa several times in the past 10 years and always enjoyed it. This time was pretty disappointing. I agree with the other reviews that the spa is in desperate need of a face lift. My massage was terrific but my facial felt rushed and it was in a make-shift treatment room in a worn down looking hotel room in an upper floorThe staff explained this temporary situation was due to a flood in the spa. When I was dressing after my treatments, a massive cockroach ran across my feet while in the bathroom. I held back my scream and quickly exited the stall. I quietly shared that there was a cockroach in the stall with a staff member so not as to embarrass them and freak out the 6 other guests within my vicinity. She nodded and said ok. She then went into the stall to quietly take care of the critter. I quickly dressed and ran out of the locker room area. That same staff member helped me at check out and offered no apologies or acknowledgment of how horrifying it is that there are cockroaches scurrying around a Ritz Carlton spa. She also didn't ask how my services were. Only if the total was correct. Needless to say, I won't be visiting again anytime soon.

I had an absolutely perfect experience here. My boyfriend took me as a birthday gift to the Ritz Carlton spa and I spent the entire time feeling like royalty. From the moment they greet you, to the tour of the lounge, to the spa treatment itself, the whole thing was magical. I was so impressed with the ladies locker room and it's amenities. The second I arrived I started wishing I had brought some hair tools (brush, gel) but I immediately saw this lounge was so well appointed that they had everything I needed and more! This included shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, shave gel and razors, cotton balls, hair ties, hair straighteners and curling irons, blown dryers and diffusers, gel, hair spray, spray deodorant...the list goes on and on! We intentionally arrived early so we could take advantage of the amenities, and I'm so glad we did. I loved hanging out in the waiting lounge thanks for the tea and snacks, as well as a series of current magazines. My treatment itself (an 80 minute deep relaxation massage) was incredible. I could hardly hold myself up when I was done! My massage therapist greeted me with a much-needed cup of water when I left the room, and I promptly chugged the water bottle in my assigned locker. Overall, it was an awesome experience. I don't often do things like this so it felt like a real treat! The staff made me feel special and a number of them wished me a happy birthday, which was very thoughtful.

On a recent visit, I knew I wanted a massage but didn't know where I could get one with a same day appointment. A quick Yelp search reminded me of a Ritz-Carlton being nearby. I called and was pleasantly assisted with an appointment later that day (my tired muscles did an entire shimmy lol). Rule of thumb, to get here...just go through lobby to the elevators and take it to floor 'SP', can't miss it once you're off the elevator. The receptionist walked me back to the spa area and explained how to utilize the lockers and the available amenities. Due to Covid, I wasn't able to use the whirlpool but the steam room and showers were available for use... and let me tell you... kudos to housekeeping because it was CLEAN and lovely! After a short time, my masseuse (I believe his name was Trevor) called me back from the wait room and I was floating on cloud 9 from the time I walked through that door. Everything about this spa is lovely and relaxing. But please don't take my word for it, go see for yourself!!

We booked a spa day, just a friend and myself. We showed up early and were greeted at the front desk. The receptionist offered us a mimosa or glass of champagne and gave us a tour of the facility. The first thing you will notice is that it is very small. There are a couple of showers, a whirlpool, a eucalyptus steam room, two small relaxation lounges, a two stall bathroom and the locker area. Still, a lovely decor and as long as too many people weren't scheduled for services, it would be fine. However, the next thing we noticed is that it was chilly. The whirlpool was only luke warm. The steam room didn't have very much steam because it wasn't hot enough. No mimosas materialized, so clad in my lovely soft robe, I went to the front desk and was told we couldn't have one until after our first service, because the liquor was locked up. My friend was taken back for her massage and I for my facial. The treatment rooms were freezing! The employees were trying to offset the temperature by applying hot towels to my chest and feet, but the esthetician's hands were like ice cubes. She really dug In on the extractions and she did customize the facial and add an eye treatment that I asked for. When I was done, I was escorted back to the ladies locker room. By now there was another group of three and soon, a group of six showed up. My friend went for a pedicure and I went for my massage. Again, the room was freezing. The masseuse did have a small space heater, but admitted they had been having problems with the temperature for at least a week. Last week, it was almost 85* in the spa, today it was about 62*, inside. It was actually warmer outside. The 50-minute full body massage felt rushed, but it was very well done. When I got out this time, I jumped into the lukewarm whirlpool and waited for my friend. She was ready for lunch, but I hit the steam room. Everyone was complaining. The two relaxation lounges were so full that women were sitting on the floor. My friend and I changed into our street clothes and ordered lunch from the spa menu, which came down from Elway's lounge. People had exited by now, so we time and space to dine in the front relaxation room. My avocado and tuna salad was divine! I had another glass of champagne and a cup of the red pepper soup. My friend went for the chicken sandwich with French fries, and I think they were the best fries I ever tasted! When we were done eating, we went to check out, and that process took at least 30 minutes because the party of six were checking out and complaining over the cold temperatures. The spa comped is a pedicure and my facial upgrade and gave us vouchers for 20% off of our next visit. So, it wasn't an exemplary day at the Ritz-Carlton. This is really a spa for small, intimate services, not large parties. They just don't have the space. I will give it another try and hope to receive the 5 star treatment one expects from the Ritz.

Booked a couples massage(299$), then they couldn't accommodate, so we opted for back to back. Not ideal but fine, it's his bday. Get into massage room. Selling me upgrades. If I want medium pressure it's an additional 50$. So I opt for hot stone thinking it'll help some of the knots near my shoulder blades( additional $) My massage consisted of her rubbing oil on my skin, sticking 2 hot stones on my lower back for 3 seconds and had me flip over only to squeeze my limbs with blankets on top and say massage over. Waste of $ and time. I'm no more relaxed or less tense than I was arriving. I pray his was better than mine.

My husband and I booked the Couples Spa Escape. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The salt scrub and massage left us feeling super relaxed. The only upsetting part is the "full access to all facilities after services." While you do have access to all the facilities, it's only for thirty minutes. That includes showering and getting yourself dressed. For that reason, we only had a few minutes to enjoy the hot tub. To go from completely relaxed, to feeling rushed to get out of there, it puts a damper in the whole experience.

Had a lovey afternoon and a great massage this afternoon at the Spa. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The whole experience was great. My only complaint is that the steam room in the women's lounge was out of order. In the past when I have been to other upscale spas and this has occurred - I was notified ahead of time and comped something due to the inconvenience. If I wanted a plain old massage I could have gone anywhere. The benefit of having a treatment at a nice spa is the steam (& hot tub). At the Ritz, I didn't learn the steam room was out of order until the attendant escorted me into the lounge. It's a 5-star business with an emphasis on customer service. A heads up would have been nice.

The spa check in was lovely, they asked what we would like to drink, wine, Prosecco, etc. We got a nice tour of the spa area. The relaxation rooms were not clean, used cups, wine glasses and snack containers on all of the tables. Could they not pick up after guests as there was not a clearly marked placed to put used glasses?The massage was the best I've ever had, the facial was ok, the esthetician didn't comment on my skin or make any comments actually. She spent a lot of time massaging my shoulders and neck and less time on my skin. For the prices they charge there should be no slip ups in service, you should always want to come back! For our next staycation, I will look elsewhere.

Ladies ! Try the Micro brew ex "beer"ience... it is absolute decadence. I don't drink beer or even enjoy the smell of it ... but I wanted to have a unique, relaxing yet invigorating spa experience - this was beyond my expectations. My 5 star specialist- Melissa Louis - incorporated essential oil scents to my taste .. and I wa surprised to find the scrub and lotion scents incredible pleasing. The scrub was perfect. The crazy 5 thousand shower head shower was fun. The wine I had (bc I don't drink beer) was great. And most importantly- the service - impeccable. Try this experience if you love to be pampered and want extra fab skin. Consider getting Melissa as your provider a super bonus - she is wonderful !!!

I recently had a manicure at the spa, which was wonderful. The technician was kind and engaged in conversation. You can always count on the Ritz Carlton's outstanding customer service. Everyone had a very pleasant and positive attitude. The salon was comfortable, clean, and tidy. The only disappointment was the spa's lounge. The furniture was badly stained and dirty.... If you pay $94 for a gel manicure I believe quality furniture is a reasonable request.

My massage was amazing as well as the massage room. I was a little disappointed in the amenities or lack there of. I had to leave the spa area to go ask for toilet paper as both of the women's restrooms were out. Also, when taking a shower i realized there was only shampoo. The conditioner bottle was missing and the shaving cream bottle was empty. I visited the shower stall next to me and there was only shampoo. Again, I had to leave the spa area to request conditioner. I wish they would hold their spa to the same standard as the hotel.

Loved it! I have had many massages and my therapist floored me. She was so knowledgeable and really tuned into everything I needed. She even found an old injury that I was almost unaware of. She customized the session for me and I honestly got off the table feeling better. All the staff was very nice! To the lady who answered my call to book my reservation, the lady who greeted me and the girls that checked me out. The facilities were clean and my robe was very soft and enjoyable. I would definitely come back and see Anya anytime!

Oh my gawd. So, I honestly scolded my husband for surprising me with a session here bc I'd rather not pay for the name but prefer a high quality massage/spa treatment. However my masseuse was a life changer. So gentle and sweet, attentive and applied perfect amount of pressure. The session was not rushed at all and I was treated like royalty. Extremely clean, beautiful, serene, and I am craving more. Just absolutely outstanding and worth it.

I was very happy with my experience at this spa. I had Diedra for my massage and she did an excellent job- don't be fooled by her small frame, she has strength! She wasn't pushy with trying to enhance my service and was very thorough with explaining my service and asking about concerns. Choosing an oil was a plus- most spas charge extra for this. I was very pleased with the cost as I used Spafinder gift cards to pay for my discounted service (Yay for Martini Mondays!). They have specials during the week so be sure to check before you book. Speaking of booking; the receptionist was very professional and helpful. Both the one on the phone and the spa attendants. Everyone working here was very warm and friendly. The spa was clean but a little small for my liking. For the cost you'd expect a sauna and another shower and bathroom stall. And speaking of bathroom stalls, they're not very private. Also, the whirlpool is a little funky- not ADA compliant I'm sure of that. I'm a decently in shape 29 year old woman that struggled getting in and out of it. I wonder how many have fallen trying to step in and out of it? One recommendation: water in the other relaxation lounge.These aren't make or break but just a heads up for those that are really picky with their spas. I'll definitely come back when we visit Denver again. Small note: Use the valet, free of charge. Let them know you're going to the spa.

The only areas that could use a little love is the locker room facilities. But the #1 pro is the massage techs. They are without a doubt the best, most educated, most knowledgeable, and professional masseuses in this country. If you don't go here you are missing out.

Wow! This place is amazing and worth every penny. Drew did a wonderful stone massage, and was very attentive to my needs and was extremely polite. The women's locker room was peaceful, clean and relaxing. The sauna was just the right temperature. They have tempurpedic mattresses in the massage room, and it's incredible. The pedicure and manicure were some of the best I've had. Not rushed, not crowded, got to relax and drink a glass of champagne. Thank you for such a great day! I would highly recommend this spa and the incredible service.

Coming to a five star hotel, I expect a five star experience in all areas. Unfortunately, I have been to the spa a few times and have always left not feeling like I received a five star experience. For the value, the experience doesn't measure up as far as the service. It's not that they do a bad job, it's just not luxury pampering in my experience. You can get a groupon, which I do recommend because that more equals the value of experience and service.

Just had an amazing experience with my first Vichy Massage with Mel, the tall awesome hottie with a Michigan heart of gold. It's my birthday, and it really felt like it. Never heard of Vichy before and glad I tried it. Probably better with a deep tissue first if you can afford to do both, but I was already relaxed. So fun, so relaxing, and interesting. I feel like humans were designed to figure out how to enjoy nature and technology in such a way. Beautiful. Skin feels nice too :). Recommend for sure.

Came in here on a groupon. The facial was wonderful but the massage was a little disappointing because the touch was so light it didn't help my muscles at all. When I asked the masseuse for more pressure she explained that there was an up charge (I think $15-20) if I wanted a medium pressure or more deep pressure massage, which seems pretty ridiculous to me - particularly for a top dollar spa. Now I understand that a deep tissue massage might merit an additional fee because it's harder/more strenuous to perform in theory but this was like back scratch level massage and I don't think I should have had to pay more for a regular pressure massage.

The treatment I had was called the 'Herbal Peaks Poultice' 80min experience... it was amazing! My therapist, who I highly recommend, was Anya. She addressed my areas of concern: left shoulder and right hip. As an avid CrossFitter, she was able to isolate the sore areas and loosen them up. I was completely relaxed and felt improved mobility in those areas, and continue to feel great relief. I wish I could visit her regularly but I'll have to wait until our next trip! Highly recommend the spa and also this specific treatment AND with Anya!!!

I booked the deep tissue massage and it was one of the best I've ever had! The massage therapist listened to requests and applied just the right level of pressure to pain points. I was nervous about the review about the locker room being messy but the women's locker room was kept really clean and neat and smelled great. The front desk woman was incredibly friendly, which made a huge difference because they can often be stuffy or even snobby. She greeted me warmly, didn't try to up sell but offered assistance-just the right balance of service. I would strongly recommend trying this spa if you're in Denver!

Booked hoping for a 5 star experience and was better off at Massage Envy. "Relaxation area" had dirty cups and food left other guests that I had to move on my on own. No toilet paper, had to go digging through multiple cabinets to find toilet paper so that I could use the restroom. Wanted some tea but Keurig was malfunctioning. Massage was ok, way overpriced, almost seemed like she fell asleep at times. WILL NOT BE BACK.

So my wife and I came to Denver for our 3rd anniversary trip and I surprised her with the "Couples Spa Escape" here on 10/24, it was a Thursday. I'll just say the whole experience was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. I wanted to write a review to give some insight into the whole experience for others who are potentially looking into this since their website doesn't have much about this specific spa experience. So the couples spa escape is mostly your typical couples spa experience, plus one unique addition I haven't seen anywhere else thus far. It entails a 50 minute massage and 25 minute body scrub, which are two treatments basically continued seamlessly together. The massage is pretty much what you'd expect. The body scrub was something we had never done and it turned out to be very nice and enjoyable. After both of those, there is a shower right in the room with some 12 wall jets and 4 on the ceiling that they turn on for you and give you plenty of time to enjoy. This was a very nice part of the experience we had no idea was included. Now the unique part of the experience being that the massage and scrub end after they close, so you have some time to enjoy the steam room, hot tub, relaxation area, etc. together with no one else, in either the men's or women's side. They also have 2 glasses of champagne waiting for you afterward. The only downside to this is that you only have 30 minutes, and you've already showered off the body scrub and you feel clean and your skin feels great, so you don't really want to sweat like crazy in the steam room or hot tub. This is where we got lucky. We showed up for the 6:45pm appointment at 5:15 to enjoy the facilities separately on our respective gendered sides beforehand. Although since it was a Thursday, there were no other appointments that day so we had the entire spa to ourselves from 5:15pm until we left at 8:50. So, they allowed us both to go into the women's side and enjoy it together until our appointment. That really made the whole experience next level, but keep in mind this was some luck and is no guarantee by any means. But, if you book on a non busy day and get lucky, it will make the experience that much better as you'll have plenty of time to enjoy everything and you can just chill out after your massage. Being able to both enjoy the spa facilities that are usually separated by gender was what set this apart for me as I haven't seen that offered anywhere else yet.

Definitely do not recommend. I am a busy new mom that hardly gets any alone or me time so My husband had purchased a massage for me at the ritz for a evening of relaxation. Well let's just say it was the complete opposite. The massage I got was ok but a tad bit strange compared to other massages I've had. My massage started at 5:00 got done about 6:10 so In my head I have about around 2 hours to relax and enjoy the amenities whirlpool steam room relaxation lounges. WRONG! I went into steam room there were dirty towels everywhere but I have spa to myself so I tried to overlook it so I get out real quick to ask Michelle for eucalyptus for steam room she said they were out then she says oh by the way the spa is closing in 15 minutes at 6:45. I explained to her the gentleman I spoke with about amenities said the spa is open til 8pm Monday through Friday. Her response is well we're not busy tonight and you are the only appointment so I'm closing at 6:45. The website also says they are open to 8pm. So now here I am leaving the spa with my hair soaking wet waiting for my valet in freezing cold weather because Michelle decided to all of a sudden close early with no prior warning especially during my check in. Not happy and don't waste your money it is definitely not worth it. Not once was I offered a drink or asked how I was ding if I needed anything, horrible customer service!

MUST visit! The head masseuse there is amazing. Not only does he make you feel comfortable, he really listens to your needs. Obviously the Ritz' facilities are top notch complete with robes, changing rooms and whirlpool. Also, it must be said that the beds are heavenly!! I truly recommend this place if you are in need of a quality massage!

My daughter and I went to the Ritz Carlton Spa this past weekend for a couple's massage (don't judge 'til you try). It was more than what we expected. We get couple's massages all the time, especially when we travel (it's our girl's treat). The spa is small but it makes for a more intimate experience. We were the only ones there so that made it even better. We were greeted by a professional and warm front desk woman. She showed us around the spa and all of its amenities. We partook in the whirlpool prior to our massage which was extremely relaxing. Chillin' in the quiet room almost put us to sleep. Our massage therapists came and introduced themselves and took us to our treatment room. They explained everything to us, including add-ons, which we gladly needed and accepted. The two women we had were great, we didn't want to leave. Eighty minutes didn't seem long enough but we got our money's worth. I'd definitely go there again. Although it was pricy, remember "you get what you pay for." Also, if it's your birthday, you get a surprise.

This place is overpriced for the quality of the service and experience. The pedicure was not worth $100, paint was chipping the next day. The biggest shocker was that they still wax with soft wax!!! Ouchie!!! The cloth and method they use was incredibly painful. Sad to say I spent over $300 there!

I did a spa night at the Ritz and had a fabulous experience. The thoughtful, kind, and genuine service set this apart from my last spa experience at the Four Seasons Denver spa. Everyone here just made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They just felt nice, and it wasn't that fake "I'm getting paid to be nice." The spa is exceptional. It feels so luxurious and has such a relaxing ambience. The treatment rooms are very large and have a flatscreen TV with beautiful relaxing nature images. There are two relaxation lounges, which are stock with different teas, cucumber water, and light snacks (nuts, dried fruit). There is a fantastic steam room with a eucalyptus spray along with a jacuzzi with chilled towels soaked in essential oils. There are large showers that are totally stocked with everything you need. My facial with Ashlee was so relaxing. She was a very knowledgeable aesthetician and was able to customize my facial based on what I was looking for. The Eminence products used were so great--you could feel them working, and they smelled so nice, too! When I went to check out, the staff made sure that I was pleased with my service and were just so sweet. Ashlee even left me a few samples of products to try. Overall, I was very impressed with my experience and look forward to returning again very soon.

A must Spa when in Denver! I love this spa! If you need a massage, Caitlin is the best!! I am not kidding, I fell asleep and she helped me with some stretches for my back stress. Kristin and Jen will give you the most relaxing pedicure of your life and make your hands look gorgeous.

When I got there they told me the esthetician had an emergency so I could not have my facial so they upped me to a 80 minute massage. The massage was great but was looking forward to a facial. Also, disappointed in the facility. There was no attendant on duty the relaxation room was not stocked up. The jacuzzi was not working. A little disappointed.

Overpriced and dingy. I booked a facial and a massage with time for a steam in between. The steam room was cold and couldn't be fixed. The lights were all burned out or broken with no covers. The whirlpool was also broken. The cups are plastic and only plain or caffeinated water is available. The decor looks as though the last updates were performed at least 40 years ago. My massage therapist flat out refused to apply more pressure. I did receive a nice facial. Overall the experience was low end and underwhelming.

Honestly did not have the best experience experience. My finance and I went for a couples massage and facials. When our message therapists arrived they were almost 10 minutes late which ate into our massage time. They thought we were both women despite my male fiancé making the appointment in person. During the massage my fiancé's therapist focused on his lower back after he explicitly asked her not to. My therapist had really long nails and as she was massaging me she was also scratching me quite hard and used aggressive pressure on my scalp despite me asking her to not use firm pressure. Then after our massages they told us our facials would not be together - which was fine but not explained and booking and our facials were great! Our package included champagne but we were never offered any and I had to ask for it at the end of our services to which they seemed shocked. Despite that the facilities were outdated, they seemed really disorganized,and a man walked me into the women's only locker room where clothes were optional. Honestly save your money and go else where.

This review is for the spa. I splurged on a facial and massage at the spa for my birthday. I've been to many spas and get massages often, but had never been to such a fancy place and was pretty excited. The whole experience felt rushed. I arrived at my appointment time and changed in the tiny, crowded changing area. I was surprised that they didn't have private changing areas, which I've experienced at most other spas. I was taken right back by my massage therapist, who was great. He kept saying that we were already into my appointment time, which confused me, and kept talking about how he "knew I wanted to get on the table" so he'd hurry up and tell me about the add ons. Then at the end he apologized again that he couldn't give me the full time because he had another client right behind me. My facial was also pretty good, although I don't think the hand revitalizer add on was worth it. It was a scrub and a light lotion and my hands didn't feel very moisturized afterwards. I was expecting a hand mask or a thick lotion wrapped up in hot towels or something. After the facial I had to ask where the restrooms and spa and steam room were, since nobody had shown me. I got in the clothing optional spa and quickly discovered that the other, naked occupants were drunk. They kept literally falling into me and were doing a naked photo shoot for their boyfriends. Standing in the spa, posing with their breasts mashed together while the other two took pictures of them. I quickly got out and changed. I know that the staff was aware of the inappropriate behavior since one therapist was trying to coax one of the drunk girls out of the spa for her treatment. Everyone in the once again packed changing area was discussing how drunk the girls were. I was wondering where everyone was getting the champagne. Was it complimentary? How come I hadn't been offered any? I love champagne! I saw later on their website that they have relaxation lounges with drinks and snacks that I also wasn't told about. After I changed I saw that it was just then 2 hours after my appointment time, which leads me to believe that I didn't get the full 50 minutes of treatment time that I paid for. In summary, very disappointed with the spa at Ritz Carlton. Sometimes the big name isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I love the occasional splurge on a good high-end hotel spa day, but would call this experience just adequate. I will agree that the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and very on top of keeping things clean, stocked, and organized. I pretty much had the place to myself which was pretty fantastic. The whirlpool with cold scented washcloths and the relaxation lounges were the a highlights of the amenities. The showers were well stocked, although I could only get one of the showers to turn on at all (had to switch stalls). I also kept hearing the sounds of heavy things moving or being dropped, which definitely put a damper on the shower and steam room experience - the other reviewer mentions a gym next door, which explains the loud disturbances (I'd really been hoping it was just a construction job or something, not a permanent feature). And finally, I was very disappointed in the lack of a dry sauna. I had a massage, which again was pretty good, not great. Overall, I think the place is very lovely and has potential, but I don't think I'll be back. I typically drive up to Boulder for the St. Julien Spa, and would consider making that drive over returning here. Or perhaps I'll give The Four Seasons or Brown Palace a try next. I was hoping to find a spectacular spa closer to home but unfortunately this was not quite it.

I recently went to The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Denver for a prenatal massage. Being in my third trimester, I had terrible low back pain and was tensing up all over as a result. Massage therapist, Drew, was exceptional at helping me address my pain before the massage, and worked to relax my lower and upper back and legs during the 50 minute massage. It was wonderful the spa could accommodate my baby bump with the use of a prenatal pillow that made it extremely comfortable to lay face down to receive the massage. One personal touch that I appreciated was that Drew suggested I use ice, instead of heat, to alleviate my back pain. That has made a big difference in how I've been feeling ever since. The spa facilities were beautiful, warm, and well-maintained. While I couldn't use the steam room, sauna, or whirlpool due to my pregnancy, they looked great and I can't wait to go back again and use them post baby.
