Great service. The staff is just amazing. Sam was incredible, and Coco was beyond amazing. She went out of her way to set up our phones to order Didi and even helped order food for us because we were challenged with the language. She truly made us feel like family. This is what a true 5 star is about. Many hotels offer luxury, but customer service is what makes the difference. Breakfast was also very good!

Dear Mr. Vogt, I have visited your beautiful property with my mother and it is our first time to Guangzhou. Your team of Ladies & Gentlemen have went above and beyond for our stay. Hester set the tone for our stay at the pre-arrival stage, where she coordinated for my mother's birthday. She took down all my little requests with such patience.||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by both Hester and Anne, who escorted us to our room. To our surprise, apart from the pictures I've sent, they've also prepared balloons, a lovely cake and even personalized note to my mother. These two ladies even went above and beyond to curate itinerary for my mother and I, after knowing it is our first time to Guangzhou. We were truly touched by their gestures and they are true assets!||When we had a small hiccup with our room, Dennis, the Director of Front Office acted promptly and with such professionalism. We enjoyed our last night at your property because of his swiftness and kindness. ||Lastly, we had issues with ordering food delivery and a kind gentleman, Trap from the Guest Services team helped without any hesitation. He even offered personalized recommendations and delivered our food to our room. ||Your team of Ladies & Gentlemen have truly enliven the Ritz-Carlton experience and we will be sure to come back again! Thanks to them, my mother truly enjoyed her birthday stay!

Great service! I checked in yesterday and the check-in experience is great. The night service is excellent. I really love the egg roll snack for night service and a hotel staff gave me more kindly. And it was my mom’s birthday and they gave a cake and set up some balloons in the room. So lovely. Also the view is soooooo good. My room faces to Canton Tower which is really nice. Will visit back!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience I had during my recent stay at your hotel. Initially, I had no particular expectations, given that the hotel has been in operation for over a decade. However, this stay turned out to be a truly delightful surprise.||This morning, I had a wonderful conversation with Cindy Tan Yunlei 谭 云 蕾 at the Club Lounge during breakfast. Our chat was so enjoyable that it felt like reconnecting with an old friend after many years. What impressed me the most was the genuine care and thoughtfulness demonstrated by the hotel. It was evident that your team truly prioritizes guest satisfaction, going above and beyond to provide the best possible experience.||As someone who frequently travels for business and has grown somewhat indifferent to hotel stays, this level of heartfelt hospitality was both unexpected and refreshing. It is rare to encounter such sincerity, and I deeply appreciate the warmth and attentiveness extended to me.||I would like to extend my special thanks to Cindy for sharing her stories and making my day start on such a positive note. My heartfelt appreciation goes to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou for creating such a memorable experience.

Staff is excellent. Rooms are a bit dated. They are definitely the older property on the block with Four Seasons and Rosewood next door. We had a suite booked for two weeks and cancelled because no view. I’d recommend for the hotel to give all suites club access to make up for the older property and when someone asks for a view, I think it’s a good idea to come up with something. But it is what it is. If the other two hotels were not so close, it might be ok here.

This is a wonderful hotel with a very friendly Staff and great service. I would like to mention Niiki (front desk ) and duty manager SAM. We is really a gem and Ritz is lucky to have him as a staff member.||We checked in late evening and in the morning at 6 am I noticed that the shower was not working.||I called duty manager Sam and he immediately rushed with his staff. As soon as it was known that it could not be fixed, we helped changed the room on the same floor within minutes.||Later he called.me and offers to upgrade to a suite which was really wonderful. For our other request, he had only one answer "Yes sir".||During the breakfast we ordered coffee and the next day the lady manager got the.coffee of our choice served without even our asking. Indian chef who was in evening duty was there to get some indian food for us.||Really a wonderful experience.

Stay was excellent as usual. This is my 3rd time staying here when I am in Guangzhou. From pre-arrival all the way to post arrival, everything was excellent. Concierge was already there to greet me as soon I stepped out of the car. Madix ensure that my check in was smooth and he always ready to help whenever needed. He is a very responsible person and proactive. As for the lounge, Noah always ensure that my needs are well taken care of. He is also very helpful and proactive. In Lai Heen restaurant and Churchill bar, we have both Vanessa and Vicky who are both very knowledge about the menu, attentive and provide best customer experience. I really hope each and every individual will be rewarded and appreciated by the hotel management. Those reviews mentioned that no one speaks good English are certainly lies. Those are just sour grapes customer with lower Marriott Bonvoy membership status such as gold status complaining for the sake of complaining. To those reviewers, please take note that upgrade is based on availability. Maybe you should work on your membership status before crying for upgrades. My only recommended hotel in Guangzhou. Based on my experience staying at Ritz Carlton in various locations, this offers the best service and hospitality.
