The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen

The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen is our first choice whenever we stay in or around Nanshan. The property is beautifully maintained and carries a timeless charm that never fades. What truly sets it apart is the consistently exceptional, personalised service, an experience the team delivers with heart. I’ve always loved the character of this hotel, not to mention its superb location with everything we need just moments away. During my recent stay, I was especially impressed by Dylan in the All Day Dining restaurant. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and ensured my dining experience was flawless. The next morning, he greeted me by name, checked in on our needs, and once again offered thoughtful assistance. Encounters like this are exactly why we keep returning the team at The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen simply goes above and beyond every time.

Had an absolutely phenomenal 3 night stay at the Futian location in Shenzhen. The room was immaculate and spacious with a comfortable layout and great view of the city (and the light show that plays across the skyline on the weekends). Great continental breakfast with cuisines from all over the world giving you some nice variety between trying the different local cuisines. The in-house Italian Restaurant, Palleto, was delicious and great value for the quality of service. What really sets this Ritz apart for me was the service. From the moment we stepped onto the premises we were greeted with smiles, professionalism and eagerness to provide exceptional service. This was put on full display when I required full privacy for an important meeting call at midnight. Despite not officially supporting this type of request, Jack personally stayed through the night to ensure I would have no trouble finding a private space and thanks to him, things went without a hitch. Unfortunately for me, this wasn't the only time I had to put their service quality to the test. I had left my coat in the closet after checking out and within 24 hours they had reached out to me about my missing coach and since I had already left the country, they offered to express ship my coat to HK. But wait there is more, when the package didn't arrive in time (due to a holiday in HK), they continue to help coordinate with me to get the package shipped back to Shenzhen and reshipped to another location of my choice. A total mess and nothing I'd ever expect any hotel to help deal with but it really goes to show the level of care and great lengths Ritz Carlton will go for their customers. I'm incredibly impressed and appreciative of these good natured people. Looking forward to my next stay!

- Used a 35k point voucher—excellent redemption value. - Booked directly on points without elite status, so can’t comment on lounge access or upgrades. - Service throughout the hotel was exceptional; staff were consistently warm and attentive. - The onsite manager stood out for his hospitality and insightful local recommendations. (so sorry I forgot his name :( if i can find it i will update! ) - The swimming pool offers impressive night views of the city skyline; swimming caps are required but conveniently provided. - Guest rooms feature a classic early-2000s Chinese five-star design—slightly dated, but still elegant and comfortable. Despite the traditional decor, the overall quality and attention to detail remain at a true five-star standard.

Very good location with free parking. The most impressive part of my stay was the executive lounge. I had a wonderful free afternoon tea, with stunning view. You can basically eat five meals in the lounge. The service at the lounge is also excellent, with staff can call you by name, and pretty much know what you want if you have visited before. The rooms are a bit old, but provides all you need. I like the high quality slippers and I took a few pairs home😂

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are being renovated, we had an old one so looks a bit oldish. If you can opt for a new one. Very happy with the lounge - good food, good wines and quiet atmosphere. Disappointed by the pool: only 8 beds is clearly not enough. And there is space to put some more so why so few? We ended up sitting on chairs by the pool… all in all good hotel, but I would not put it at par with a MO or Four Seasons.

We would like to share our recommendation of The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen. We have stayed at this luxurious hotel multiple times, enjoying the club lounge access room and the exceptional variety of food. The hotel’s high standards and excellent service from the entire staff truly stand out. We would like to specifically note Mr. AARON FAN, the Assistant Front Office Manager, who personally assisted us throughout our stay. He ensured that all our needs were met and was a key reason why we keep returning. If you’re considering booking, we highly recommend This hotel for an unforgettable experience.

I have stayed there for 7 nights. the room was absolutely amazing with spectacular view. The staff was polite and helpful. the service was great. to sum up, I have literally enjoyed my stay at this hotel and I definitely will choose it again for next trips.
