The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen

Ritz Carlton Shenzhen never fails us. This is our 4th visit to this hotel and the customer service here is exceptional. The team at the executive lounge is extraordinarily caring and warm-hearted which makes us feel right at home. Especially Mandy, who always goes above and beyond to ensure our comfortability from the very moment we set foot inside. Her friendly and warm-hearted personality and positive attitude is what really sets her apart from the rest. The team at the lounge were also kind enough to hand-write us a Christmas card which really made our day. Also, the Duty Manager Albin Lee at the Reception is also very helpful and patient. He will not hesitate to go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met in full. Overall, it has always been a wonderful experience every time we stay here and I would definitely recommend upgrading (paying a bit more) for the executive lounge 10/10 experience.

The service is in this hotel is impeccable. I travel frequently on business and every time I have the pleasure of staying here, I'm made to feel welcomed and thoroughly taken care of. Good old fashioned 5 star service that is few and far between these days. They have an exceptional member of staff in their concierge team named Alex. He consistently goes above and beyond. A true asset to the property and managed to take excellent care of our whole team on my visit last week. Honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough, and I hope they recognize the amazing service that is delivered by their team members, especially Alex! It's the service that makes hotels stand out to frequent travelers :)

My last day stay in Ritz of my 4th visit to this hotel. Oh just realised that the Reception Team Duty Manager is Jimmy Chen (My last review posted yesterday wrongly quoted as Albin Lee). Jimmy had always been extraordinarily helpful and polite. He is smart and quick in response, offered the best solutions when I had not even raised the questions. Excellent reception counter service, worth commendations. It is so thoughtful of the team and hotel to give us a small Christmas pouch for celebrating Christmas time, very sweet💝. I will sure make my 5th visit in 2025!

I traveled with my 2 children for a couple of days to Shenzhen during the Golden Week Holidays in China to explore the City. We choose the Ritz for our visit and it was very good decision. The location is perfect to explore the city having some attractions close by and the Metro just a steps away. The room and the facilities of the hotel are high standard even including a nice outdoor pool. The best experience however we got at the Club launch since we booked Club Floor. The staff in the club floor was outstanding and beyond my expectation. On the first night we arrived after the club hours but we still got a special meal prepared for us. During the stay my son had his birthday and the whole team organised a little cake, wrote a birthday card and wished him a Happy Birthday. They also prepared my children favoured dishes and really amazing. I can only recommend to book the Club Floor because the offer of service, food and beverages throughout the day is very good and the view in the evening is fantastic. Thank you Ritz and we a wonderful time.

The room was very large and clean with a regal feeling of the early 2000's. Very well kept for the most part except one of the electrical ports was not holding a charge. The washroom was very large and the bath tub in front of the window as very picturesque. The staff are very friendly and do their best to accomodate and assist you. Overall, a lovely stay in the middle of Shenzhen in the Futian district. Would recommend to others.

Situated at the CBD of SZ, The Ritz Carlton provided us with a remarkable memory for our celebration for anniversary & happy birthday. Special thanks go to professional staff including Annie Fu, Erick Lu, Kylie, Molly, Mark, Jimmy, Mandy, Fiona, ... etc,,who took care of our stay. The cheerful day started from the “birthday cakes rain” in WeChat from Annie😄 Facilitated by her, the room was upgraded to a spacious room with interior celebration decoration as well as the stunning view of the CBD. The room setting was comfortable and the services at the club lounge on 26/F was excellent! We love the bathtub with LED TV by the window. Through the relaxing but cool staycation, we enjoyed 5 meals at the Club lounge on and a buffet breakfast on 2/F. We got great time too at the pool, sauna, & gym room, and surprisingly got a tasting cocktail at the lobby at 6-7pm. Erick was also another one key person of our amazing customer experience 😊 He is decent, humble, presentable, and friendly. The overall customer experience / journey of this stay was fab! It would be great if the hotel put more effort on general dining food taste & hygiene standard (especially the buffet restaurant Flavorz on 2/F), as well as upgrading the architecture maintainence (especially the lobby lounge ONYX on 1/F and partially in the room) which is generally ageing. Could also consider if replacing the traditional toilets as the advanced auto e-toilets in the washroom of the room. We like the staff services most and would definitely revisit again!

Great location, love the design of the room, very spacious with decent lighting. The toilet area was particularly well thought out, where you can enjoy a good bath while being able to watch the TV! Don’t see this often in hotels. Also shout out to the Curv Bar in the Lobby. The cocktails were well crafted with good balance. And great atmosphere!

Excellent Ritz with brand-stake service and a modern touch, although it may not be a new property. The staff really made a difference here. Considering that the value is amazing. One minor thing is that the pool is outdoor/ unheated making it not possible to swim during much of the year - Shenzhen is warm but still seasonal I guess
