The Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen

Had an absolutely phenomenal 3 night stay at the Futian location in Shenzhen. The room was immaculate and spacious with a comfortable layout and great view of the city (and the light show that plays across the skyline on the weekends). Great continental breakfast with cuisines from all over the world giving you some nice variety between trying the different local cuisines. The in-house Italian Restaurant, Palleto, was delicious and great value for the quality of service. What really sets this Ritz apart for me was the service. From the moment we stepped onto the premises we were greeted with smiles, professionalism and eagerness to provide exceptional service. This was put on full display when I required full privacy for an important meeting call at midnight. Despite not officially supporting this type of request, Jack personally stayed through the night to ensure I would have no trouble finding a private space and thanks to him, things went without a hitch. Unfortunately for me, this wasn't the only time I had to put their service quality to the test. I had left my coat in the closet after checking out and within 24 hours they had reached out to me about my missing coach and since I had already left the country, they offered to express ship my coat to HK. But wait there is more, when the package didn't arrive in time (due to a holiday in HK), they continue to help coordinate with me to get the package shipped back to Shenzhen and reshipped to another location of my choice. A total mess and nothing I'd ever expect any hotel to help deal with but it really goes to show the level of care and great lengths Ritz Carlton will go for their customers. I'm incredibly impressed and appreciative of these good natured people. Looking forward to my next stay!

My recent 2-day, 1-night stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic and surpassed all my expectations.First and foremost, the location is perfect. Situated right in the heart of the Futian district, it was incredibly convenient. We were within walking distance of great restaurants, shopping malls, and public transport, making it easy to explore Shenzhen.We were thrilled upon check-in to be surprised with a complimentary room upgrade to the Premier Suite. The suite was stunning—spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered a level of comfort that made our short stay feel like a true luxury retreat.As a fitness enthusiast, I was very impressed with the gym. It was spacious, well-maintained, and had a sufficient range of different equipment. Whether I wanted cardio or strength training, everything I needed was there.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Shenzhen.Lastly, a special mention must go to the staff, particularly Molly at the reception counter, who were exceptionally friendly and nice. From the warm welcome at the front desk to every interaction we had, the team was professional, attentive, and genuinely eager to help.Once again, special thanks to Molly!

Premium service. Great location and extensve facilities. Fabulous gym - the best I have seen in any hotel. Food is average at best. The Club Lounge is a big plus.|Service at Reception is helpful and attentive, but incredibly slow. It takes ages for staff to process a check-in or an extension, as if they are typing up the entire booking form from scratch. |I stayed there for 2 weeks, and their major fault is that they have zero price loyalty for longer term guests. The price is the price, no matter how long you have stayed. And sometimes the online price is cheaper than that offered by Reception. |The drinks and service in the Curv bar and the cafe are excellent. The service in Flavorz restaurant is also excellent, but the food there is not exceptional at all. And they charge $85+ for the dinner buffet option - far too expensive for what's on offer. The wine is also very expensive. |The location is great, and you are within walking distance of Coco Park shopping centre, and some bars and restaurants.|Overall, I would stay here again . But I would be more pricee sensitive, as there are similar hotels nearby at better rates

The overall stay experience was good. Unfortunately the dining experience at "Flavorz" was absolutely disappointing. My family and I stayed at Ritz Carlton and was expecting to have a memorable and good experience. We booked dinner buffet at Flavorz on Dec 3, 2025. The food quality (ingredients and cooked dishes) and selection was very bad and unacceptable for a five-star hotel like Ritz Carlton. While I did not have breakfast on Dec 3, 2025, my family (who arrived on Dec 2, 2025) told me that they can see breakfast food items at dinner buffet. There were not many diners visiting the Indian food station, steak has no beef taste, sushi and sashimi looks unfresh, not much selection for desserts. At a price of RMB $688, we would expect fresh seafood, lobster, oyster, etc. None of these was on the menu. My family filed a complaint on the spot. While the manager and head chef were sincere to rectify the situation, this incident has ruined our view and experience for Ritz Carlton. My family visited Marriott Hotel, Shantou for dinner buffet on Dec 6, 2025. The food quality and selection were absolutely great and they had a very good dining experience. Sorry to say that the chances of future visits to Ritz Carlton is low.

Wanted to share that that the Ritz Carlton in Shenzen is a very nice facility, conveniently located and walkable to many restaurants. The staff were all very accommodating at the front desk, the concierge, the gym, spa, doorman, bellman, the restaurants and the bar where we spent New Year’s Eve. The gym and pool are available early to late and clean and functional. I wanted to note a couple of the staff that worked closely with us, who are Kevin at the Concierge and Avery at the Check-in desk. The tall German man who works the Breakfast lounge was also a delightful and helpful man. This is not to lessen the impact of all those on staff because every single one that we encountered were polite, professional and there to help!

We were so impressed of almost everything about this stay. I will recommend to my friends, and the my relatives to come and pay a visit. This package of a new renovated room plus Club Lounge access both are amazing. Food is great. Service is amazing. The view is epic. The room is built and designed well. Gym room is big. Especially our highlight is the customer service, my wife and I wanna point out the staff that serving us (入住服務大使) Mandy is very kind and helpful to us. Delight our stay. Also other staffs that served/helped us are very polite and kind. (Front desk: Perry etc.) We couldn’t ask for more. Coz this is more than our expectation. I will recommend you to choose this.

Really nice and enjoyable stay! We stayed in the newly renovated design room and I can say it was done really and tastefully. The room was really comfortable, the staff was amazing, nice and welcoming. We had an amazing birthday dinner at Paletto with a special menu organised the chef, thank you so much! Our facial treatment at the spa was also divine and so relaxing. The pool is also so nice, an oasis in the city. Thank you to all the staff!
