You go here for the show. Food as part of the brunch package is very average, tables are too close to each other, it’s hard to navigate around, which also makes a bit hard to watch the performances, performers do make an effort to go around the entire place. You are only allowed to be there for about 90 minutes, which seems a bit rushed. Overall, it’s worth as a one time thing, mostly for the performances. Service is also attentive.

I had the most fun at their drag brunch! The acts are pretty unique, the ladies were fun and they brought it!!! The food was pretty good, basic breakfast/brunch food. Eh… it’s pretty expensive though. I believe it’s like $60 per person, it includes drinks and food. I don’t drink, so the $60 seems like a steep price for someone just eating eggs and bacon and seeing a drag show. Would be great if they offered a less expensive option for people who don’t drink.

I did the drag brunch here and I cannot explain how happy we were!!! Sean was our waiter and he did such a good job being attentive towards us always making sure our mimosas were full and we had the food we wanted. The drag was INCREDIBLE!!! Outfits were so fun and they brought the energy for sure! It was a nice balance between saucy and fun. Would definitely recommend!! Absolutely fantastic.

The best drag brunch in the city. Hands down the best. I bring all my visiting friends/family. The staff and performers have been incredible for all the years I’ve been coming. We’ve had birthdays, graduations, a baby shower, a divorce party here. 12/10.

I ordered a cocktail, and I swear it had more layers than my aunt's lasagna. I asked for a gin and tonic, and I think he mistook "tonic" for "more gin" because my glass was practically doing the cha-cha with every sip. I'm convinced he has a secret mission to make sure no glass ever feels empty. And then there's Mike's flirting game. This guy could charm the socks off a snake. He's like the James Bond of bartenders, with a wink that could make even the most stoic statues blush. I'm pretty sure he flirted with everyone at the bar, and we all loved it. It's not just mixing drinks; it's mixing up the perfect cocktail of banter and booze. By the end of the night, he had more phone numbers than the local pizza joint. But it's not just about the booze and the banter – Mike made my friend's birthday the stuff of legends. He brought out a shot that was basically a party in a glass, complete with sparklers. I swear, her smile was so big; it could've been mistaken for a billboard. So, if you're up for a night of heavy pours, shameless flirting, and the kind of laughter that makes your abs ache, swing by The River. Just be warned: you might leave wondering if you accidentally stumbled into a comedy club with a drink minimum. Cheers to Mike – the bartender extraordinaire!

We attended the drag show brunch here for my birthday. This wasn't my first drag show brunch, and I have to say, I wasn't particularly impressed. We had a 1pm reservation but didn’t get seated until 1:30, and then we were asked to leave by 2:30, so the entire experience felt rushed. The mimosas were premixed, and while they were okay, they were mostly juice. Although the menu featured other drinks, we never got a chance to order any. The food was a basic platter of eggs, bacon, and sausage. We paid $81 per person (including tip and taxes), and with 12 of us, that added up to $1000 for eggs, bacon, and juiced mimosas. Other shows usually offer a prefixed menu with a full two-hour experience. While the performers were good, it was difficult to see them for most of the show. Overall, it wasn’t worth the money. Also the music was ridiculously too loud where we couldn’t hear anybody speak.

The River Drag Brunch is an experience everyone needs to do at least once in their life because it is a meal and a show and drinks all in one. It is super reasonable and all the people there are friendly and welcoming

You’re honestly just paying $80 for the show and mimosas. The food sucks! It’s alls fried, cheap food that sometimes isn’t even fried long enough, or sometimes it tastes like it was fried in old oil. The past 2 times I went they kept forgetting to bring us part of our food. It also makes no sense how if you have 2 people or 8 people, you still get the same amount of food. The price for this type of food is crazy, and now they automatically add a tip to your total. Making the $70 show $80. Some of the drag queens are also rude like Veronica and Dida. I also don’t like that they took away the option to just pay for food or drinks alone, because now you’re stuck paying the $80 even if you don’t drink or want to eat. This place keeps getting worse and worse and it’s such a shame cause I used to love this place when they first started doing the drag brunch here. I’ll honestly probably never go here again. Oh and BTW, be prepared to be on the toilet after the food here. Especially after the salad and nasty pizza that they use the same cheese for
