Google
Shme. While the amosphere was a bit boring, the service was solid. It was difficult to order though because the menu prices are outrageous. I settled on the fish and chips but it was such a disappointment-the two pieces of fish looked like they came out of a box from the freezer in Safeway. If you’re coming for the Twin Peaks tick, I would recommend just getting a salad. Or just stick with Tweeds.

Google
This is a lunch review only. The service was excellent! I thought the portions were too small! Too small for the entree and too small for the brownie! Serve bread that would help. The fish was good.

Google
Wish they would bring back their weekend breakfast/brunch especially during the summer. We use to love to come have brunch before hitting the river. It's been gone since covid, but don't understand why - they were always packed! I kept hoping it would return, but now it's been 5 years... They had an omelet with garlic aioli and a bloody Mary with chili peper infused vodkha that came in a giant Mason jar that was simply the best. Used to be one of my fav brunches around and would drive out in the winter as well - our buddy bartended here for years, so we came pretty often to say hi, but continued to come after he left up until covid as we loved it. We also stayed the night on the fly once when they happened to have a room available- so we rented a room for after the river and made an evening out of it. Was a ton of fun -I really miss the breakfast :(

Google
This is for the restaurant review. I’ve always enjoyed going here to meet up with a friend to have dinner. I’ve been here probably over 10 times now. Never disappoints. Good selection of food and prices are reasonable. Good getaway from Seattle too for a quiet dinner.

I am a born and raised kid from Fall City. I have seen this place under a few owners to say the least. My husband and I went for Dinner this week and wow. I will never be back with the current owners. Let me tell you our experience. First off... They are only open for 3 hours a day and only a few days a week. WHY? they have a go fund me page with over 15K raised. If they are struggling you would think they would try to make it and open for more hours for business. Well the hours posted are 4-7pm. My husband and I arrived at 6:30pm. Order placed at 6:45. A nice couple came in at 6:48 and they told them they stop seating at 6:45. We offered these strangers a seat at our table so they could eat. The owner said , sorry it doesn't work that way and they are not going to be able to eat. WHY? I felt so bad for them. The comment to me from the wife was maybe they are racist. This was a black and white couple. He asked to use the bathroom and they said sure but would need to leave after since they are closing. I was so angry. After we ate I asked to speak with the owner. I told them I was appalled on how they handled the couple from out of town looking for food. I told them if your business is struggling then why would you not want more business. He told me to basically get out and never return. A nice couple next to us came over and thanked us for standing up for the other couple and that they will never be back and the owner was way out of line with how he handled the situation. So in the last 30 years I have spent thousands of dollars at this place. We have few choices in town for food so this is a place we went often. I also have had family members stay in the rooms upstairs. We also had many functions in the upstairs room for gatherings. Well if you are part of the community that is contributing to the go fund me account I would think twice. Are they really trying? If so don't turn people away! And if you really stop seating at 6:45 then post that... Simple!

Google
I dined here with my family, we tried their burgers, salad, Fall city dip, and drinks. Everything, delicious and bursting with flavor. A calm, classic atmosphere perfect for long conversations, and just excellent service, our meal went along without a hitch. I highly recommend their lamb burger with creamy goat cheese.

Jim T.

Yelp
We went in looking for a tasty meal on the spur of the moment. I was more than surprised when I asked if the food was freshly made there. Yes it is so I tried their Chili. It was really good. So we will definately be back.

Yelp
Holy cow, we finally got to experience the rare dining hours of the roadhouse! It's worth the effort to come during their open non peak hours to get acquainted with the menu and the history of the restaurant. It is a historic experience in itself and the food was shockingly high end for our sleepy gas station community. I will be way more proud to bring my out of town visitors here for a local upscale meal that was highly kid friendly, with every detail of service considered. We came typical PNW under dressed and felt welcomed anyway.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Food was excellent as was the service. A must for Twin Peaks enthusiasts to check off their list & worth the trip!

Yelp
OMG this place is soooo good! The food was amazing and the people are friendly and welcoming. The dirty Mac and cheese was freaking fantastic. The roadhouse burger with blue cheese was also very good, and the fries were great too. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
came here after an arduous time on the river float and the staff was so accommodating. mimosas were great, food was great, and Cynthia, one of the staff, was such a gem. can't recommend this place more

Jay K.

Yelp
We go here often. The food and service are wonderful. Very generous cocktail pours. I highly recommend the meatloaf or mac and cheese. And the pork chop is simply the best I have ever had. From a local farm, it is thick (actually a double pork chop), juicy, and has a fantastic flavor. Give the Road House a go.

Bryan T.

Yelp
A great meal, every visit. I love this place. I wish I could visit more often. Great ingredients, classic comfort food. The servers are always prompt and cheerful.

Yelp
My partner and our friends went and, out of the four of us, it was three of ours first time. The food was amazinggggg. We live north of Seattle and I can happily say this was worth the drive. The pretzel for the fondue appetizer was amazing, nice and hot and fresh. And the fondue itself was creamy and flavorful with carmalized onions in it too. The broccoli, fries, and apples all paired well! The fries were light and airy, yet crispy and delicious. My partner had the Dip (he loves dip) and this one pasted his standards and I had a bite too and it was super flavorful. I ordered the Mac and cheese and the cheese was soo creamy and flavorful. We will def be making a trip out to fall city for this place again. 15/10 recommend.

Yelp
I have had the pleasure of eating at the Roadhouse Restaurant on many occasions. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this Fall City gem!

Yelp
So my wife and I decided to go downtown Fall City for tonight tonight. Our go to place the Raging River Saloon had a back up on the sidewalk as we drove by. I seen the open sign at the Roadhouse and decided to give them another try. We were seated, given menus etc. At 6:48 pm a racial couple came in and asked to be seated. They were told that the kitchen closes at 6:45 pm. We had never met this couple and since we had just ordered our food moments ago invited them to sit with us. The wait staff immediately stated "that's not the way it works" My wife requested to talk to the manager. The co owners came out and my wife expressed her frustration with the situation. We were asked to leave and not return. The Roadhouse has very limited hours and a Go Fund Me account that has raised thousands of dollars. They are Will to take a hand out but are unwilling to work a little overtime to earn their money. I cannot wait until they go out of business and can only hope decent owners take over. PS. I only gave them 1 star because it was required to post this review.

Yelp
Great food at good prices. Cobb salad, garden salad with blackened salmon, grilled salmon salad and meatloaf dinner were all perfectly cooked. Great service and Prices!

Yelp
We used to love this space but ever since the owner went anti-mask we do not feel safe eating there anymore. I mean, come on, you are a business owner, you should demonstrate at any step that customer safety is your PRIME concern! Besides that: mandating precautionary measures during a public health crisis is perfectly constitutional. A+ rating on your strength of conviction but F on your customer service and safety.

Yelp
Great! This place is one of the best spots we go to.... every valentines day dinner.... dinner during summer evening... or cold winter nights. Great food. The owners are great. The menus perfect. And the service is always on point. I have yet to have a bad meal. Price point is as expected. Try it ... you will like it

Yelp
Ate there last night with party of 8 first-timers. To the last person, we were amazed by the tasty twists on American standards such as Pot Roast, French Dip, grilled sandwiches and huge salads. The large foccacia bread appetizer is a "can't miss" for any party. Spiced and toasted to perfection!!! Ending our incredible dinner with 7 Layer Chocolate Cake left our whole group of lifetime Washingtonians jaw-dropped. This is truly a "hidden gem". We will all be back! A few updates, open for dinner only, Wed-Sun. Easy 5 minute drive off Exit 22 from I-90 between Issaquah and Snoqualmie Ridge. Family friendly. Ample free parking. Owners John and Cynthia give it the personal touch!

Yelp
I am glad to report (see previous review) that the coffee is average, lackluster, with only slight burnt cardboard taste. Pancakes were good, bacon was once again perfect, and the staff were friendly, attentive and courteous.

Yelp
I've been to Fall City several times to visit a friend that lives there, been by the Roadhouse many times and always wondered about it. Decided to stay there this last time and was very satisfied with not only the cozy accommodations but the good food in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I would stay and eat there again.

Yelp
Visiting The Roadhouse was an essential stop on the tour of Twin Peaks sites in the greater Snoqualmie, WA area. Although actually eating inside it may not have been so essential. For fans of the show, you should know that only the exterior was used...if you want that familiar shot you should head the North or left side of the restaurant (when facing it from Preston-Fall City Rd. SE) - The Roadhouse interiors were shot at another location in Seattle. The food was decent enough for a basic American Family Restaurant though the vegetarian options were limited. I gad the Western Burger made with a veggie patty and no bacon. It's a standard veggie burger and the french fries were really good. There was also a Mac and Cheese on the menu also had a couple versions of vegetarian friendly mac and cheese...but otherwise limited vegetarian options, a pasta dish, 2 salads and a couple items from their starters en were vegetarian...so vegetarians wont starve. The food presentation is all around impressive. They also serve breakfast til 2pm so if we were in town for more than one night we probably would have had one of our breakfasts here. The staff was also very friendly staff and if you get tired you could always book a room at the inn upstairs.

Yelp
Used to be great. Now they are rarely open and the sign on their door about mask mandate during a global pandemic was selfish and annoying. The community tried to help support them yet they're rarely open and instead blamed the governor. Won't support them again.
google avatar

Yelp
Good off the road breakfast spot. Lots of local East Siders here pre Seahawk game. Split the eggs Benedict with a friend. Came with fresh fruit and potatoes.
google avatar

Stefan S.

Yelp
I've come here a few times since they did the big renovation of The Colonial Inn and made it into the Roadhouse. Food was good. This time I had the Falls Dip which is their take on a French Dip and my wife had the Eggs Benedict which was quite good except for one egg whose yoke was hard but wasn't too big of a deal. If it was we would have asked to replace it. Now that I'm a new dad again, I'm going to call out restaurants which don't have diaper changing tables in the men's room. This like quite a number of restaurants does not have one. Only the women's bathroom does.

Yelp
I was with a party of about 12 people. We were seated quickly but it took about 15 minutes for someone to come back and get our drink orders. So we mostly ordered orange juice, water and coffee. After they came back with all the drink we were ready to order. We put our order in and about 5 minutes later the waiter came back and had to take all of our orders again. So another 10-15 minutes went by and he came back and had to ask for half of our orders again. Yes for the third time. So were were beyond irritated at this point because we have been waiting for 45 minutes at this point and all the orders were not even put in yet. So finally finally FINALLLYYYY our food came. I got the original ugly breakfast and it was good af! Man I cant even be mad. It was greasy and flavorful and the gravy was delicious. The biscuits were still firm on top even after being smothered in gravy. I cant complain about the food its just the service was all over the place.
google avatar

Yelp
The Mac and cheese is to die for! Wings were delicious also!! Definitely stop by if you're in Fall City!
google avatar

Jom R.

Yelp
First, this restaurant has had its ups and downs over the years. The present owners have been doing a good job running the place and providing above average food and good service. Until the pandemic. After having been closed, then doing take out and now offering limited inside seating, they have struggled but survived. My wife and I ordered takeout twice and dined in once. We were going to spend most of our stimulus $$ there. Today I heard some disturbing news from a friend who said he will never eat there again. The management appears to be in the anti-masker Corona denier camp. I really hope not. It's the only decent restaurant in Fall City!!! But if true, I will not spend another dime in there either. I'm attaching a picture of a sign on the front door that I'll let you interpret for yourself. I'm kinda sad actually. And very disappointed

Yelp
I had heard good things about this place and had higher expectations then I probably should have had - realizing it was out past the "burgs". We came here since it is close to the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater. The seating is like the counter end of a Denny's - nothing fancy. Not a real dinning room. The hamburger we had was good but I did not like the fact they charged us $2.00 to split it. They never mentioned that and to me it shows the caliber of the owners. Our granddaughter had the Sliders and she said they were good. Service was not that great and finally I had to ask for water - especially considering it was a warm day - that should be automatic. ALSO the place was quite warm - on the uncomfortable side. IT was OK but I would probably not come back.
google avatar

Brian T.

Yelp
Couldn't even be bothered to seat me with at least 5 visible empty tables available. No line. 5pm on Sunday evening. I guess I'll take my money down the road to spend
google avatar

Yelp
My partner and I took a Twin Peaks-themed vacation to Washington, and stayed a night at the Roadhouse because because we wanted to see the location. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Our dinner was incredible (we still can't stop talking about how delicious the berry lemonade and pork chop were), and our room was spacious, comfortable and charming. Even aside from being a cool Twin Peaks shooting location, the place felt really unique and special, I've never stayed anywhere like it before. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating and even told us some stories about hosting Twin Peaks conventions. An added bonus: we discovered that a river runs next to the Roadhouse and you can jump in and swim there. This place is a great overnight getaway or dinner spot whether you're a Twin Peaks fan or not, and absolutely worth the drive from Seattle.
google avatar

Charlie O.

Yelp
Loved this place. We stayed here for an evening and had dinner in the dining room and everything was delicious, the hosts were unbelievably nice, and our room was extremely charming. We were drawn to this place because we are fans of Twin Peaks, but the Inn and the room far exceeded our expectations.

Yelp
We made a reservation online for a Saturday evening dinner. Midday on Saturday we got a text asking us to confirm our reservation, which we did. When we showed up for at our reserved time, there was a sign on the door saying that they were closed due to staffing, however, people were eating inside the restaurant and cooks were in the kitchen. This place is only open 3 hours a day, how they have staff for 2 hours and not the third. I get that staffing a restaurant is hard right now but it would have taken 1 minute of their time to call us and let us know they had to cancel the reservation and we could have saved the drive to the restaurant. We won't be back.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
I'm really disappointed. We come here all of the time and have never had an issue until today. My boyfriend and I who are 25 years of age went up to the bar to get drinks, and the bartender denied us. She said she thought his id was fake and it didn't look right. We have come here multiple times and never had an issue. The manager didn't even give us the time of day and said his bartender knew what was right. They need to learn to train their people better about what is a fake Id and what is not. We loved coming here but now they lost our service and it's really unfortunate.

Yelp
Stopped for a late breakfast on a Saturday. We were promptly seated and provided with water within a few minutes. Our server stopped by right after to ask if we wanted coffee, and said she'd be right back. She was. We ordered two different omelettes and their "cidermosa" (hard apple cider & OJ). Everything was served quickly. The cidermosas were divine, and the omelettes were crammed with quality filings (spinach, mushroom and swiss in mine). There was a family at the table next to us with two fairly young kids (8 - 10) and their "interesting" requests were skillfully handled by the server.
google avatar

Dave G.

Yelp
I want to like this place as it is local and it's hard to find good local breakfast places. But if you fail at coffee (burned taste like everyone says) there's not much expectation for breakfast. I had the dirty egg dish, which visually lived up to the label. It was good but much too salty. Prices were high for what you get. I'll continue to head for North Bend or Carnation for better breakfast options, and better coffee.

Yelp
I am a semi-regular. I've had the best, melt in your mouth with the perfect crisp, steelhead trout ever. This is not fine dining in a white table cloth kind of way, but it a place to eat lunch or dinner. The service is attentive and friendly. The food is reliable (don't love their breakfast) but their lunch and dinner are great to excellent. Think really delicious, homemade comfort food in a diner-esq style. Booths are back to back. Worth a trip on your way home or to Snoqualmie Falls.
google avatar

Maureen S.

Yelp
I have been going here for a while now, so I figure it is only fair to write a review. I come here with some other writers occasionally to grab one of the back booths and write a bit. The owners are extremely nice, as well as most of the servers I've had in the three years I've been going there. By far my favorite dish is the Garden Scramble with goat cheese. Today, they were out of it but were able to sub gouda, and while it wasn't as fabulous as the goat cheese it was still great, my mom had the same thing and she loved it. My dad also really enjoyed his corned beef hash. I also love the Fall City Dip, along with their burgers and Steelhead Caesar salad. One of my first favorites was the Dirty Mac and the Bourbon Bacon Fondue which are still delicious, but this is one of those places where I will keep trying other things on the menu based on what I feel like that day. Another friend of mine is addicted to the Pulled Pork sandwiches. My only wish list was that they offered real half-and-half instead of those container creamers for the coffee, but that is a minor blip.

Yelp
Love to go here for Saturday brunch. Its fairly close by in a cute little country town. Had a delicious omelet with spinach, mushrooms and goat cheese. Comes with fried potatoes and an "Ugly " biscuit. The biscuit is homemade and amazing! Served with fresh strawberry syrup. Coffee is good too and is from a local roaster. Servers were very nice and attentive. The owner was strolling around too greeting guests . It's a restaurant well worth trying.

Yelp
Hey what a wonderful and accomdating staff. They made me feel very well taken care of. The food is excellent. I can see how they have shut down the other restaurants and gone with a durable atmosphere. Of course famous and notable for the locale. The collection of corked wines. What a gastrophy? They had won. I think it is interesting that it was such a great time. We had the staff running around the whole night and only one mistake.

Yelp
Came on aThursday nite around 8:30. Ordered the pulled pork on a bed of lettuce some fries and cole slaw. Really good. Atmosphere was excellent. The pulled pork was just a bit too saucy for my taste but I loved the ambiance and friendly greeted at the front reception area!
google avatar

Jordan P.

Yelp
Great server and she was very new. Horrible chef. I hope they personally reads this. Ordered a western burger no bun with cheese. Got meat, bacon, 2 onion rings and a slice of pickle. No cheese, which I can live with getting cold slices like I did from the runner. I asked him to take my plate back an get some lettuce, tomato, onion like a thought a normal burger would come with. The young kid went and told the cook, cook sent it back like it was an told the kid to tell me it doesn't come with that. You saved ur dollar on me not getting the bun bro, gimme some lettuce, onion an tomato. Smdh.

Yelp
We love this place. We eat breakfast here nearly every Saturday morning and have for a while now. Their homemade gravy is to die for, homemade couli is delicious, bacon is thick and very tasty, service is warm and inviting. We always ask to sit in Dave's section and always have a good time. Thankful to have a place to go for breakfast that feels like home. The only thing that they should consider is providing gluten free bread for toast and to use in breakfast dishes. Franz is a local bread company and they have great gluten free bread. It would be easy to keep as you can throw it in the freezer to store. If they would add that to their offerings, it would be perfect for people who require it, but still would like to dine out from time to time.

Jasmin M.

Yelp
We had the pork chop and steak bites. OMG, so perfect, juicy and tender both dishes the berry lemonade was just perfect, not too sweet and the 7 layer cake just yum! The salad was oh so fresh Great service with the best food! Thank you!
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
The food here was delicious. If you happen to visit, you MUST get the cheese and bacon fondue! As compared to other restaurants we visited, their iced tea was brewed nice and strong (just the way mama likes it!). The service wasn't overly friendly to our table, but the party two tables over was given a lot of attention. To be fair, the female guest was much more attractive than myself, so I'm not really complaining. The atmosphere was mellow and not overly noisy, which was appreciated. But honestly...order the fondue, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Fabulous!!! Folks! The Roadhouse has one hellava burger!! And it's awesome for take out!!! My wife and I, like many of you are looking for great food that's easy to access and enjoy at home. The burger and fries from the roadhouse are so delicious!! The beef is fresh and very tasty. We've been regular customers for this burger and it's taken me way to long to dry around and endorse this wonderfully tasty burger. So yeah. I've had this burger no less than 10 times. And every time it's expertly prepared with a wonderful char and a tasty balance of sauces and veggies. I have to take this opportunity to promote other items in the menu. The Mac and cheeses. Are awesome. The steak bites. Are awesome. The salads. Are awesome. Guys guys. Hi. Yeah it's me. Just go there!! Get the burger and enjoy!!

Yelp
The most recent time I came here was after floating, but it's not the first time. Before I been here during breakfast times so this is the first time coming here for dinner menu. On their breakfast menu, maybe it's seasonal but their clam soup is bomb. Their roadhouse Bloody Mary looked different when I ordered it during dinner service? I'm not quite sure if this was intentional or.... But their food, I ordered the pesto pasta with grilled chicken and my boyfriend ordered steak. It tasted delicious. Pasta was perfect and pesto was not overwhelming at all. The steak was juicy and tender, sides were on point as well. However this is where they lost a star - They forgot the chicken in my pasta and when they added the chicken, the pasta was watery? Then on top of that, they forgot my friends order of Mac and cheese. If staff was better trained for attention to detail, I feel the mishaps could've been avoided easily.

S W.

Yelp
The food was ok, but very overpriced for what you are getting. We subbed a salad for fries and they added 4.00 on top of the full price of the dish. Mot worth it.

Yelp
What a rare find to come across such a jewel at a crossroads while just out for a drive. Brandon, their server/bartender, makes wonderful drinks, is super friendly and attentive. The fondue with carmelized onions and bacon is sooo good, especially for $5 on HH. We also enjoyed the steak bites in demi glaze. We try to stop here every time we go to the Falls or Duthie Hill.

Yelp
A restaurant call "Roadhouse" on a corner in Fall City doesn't inspire thoughts of amazing food, and all we can hope is that you'll stay away - because the food was amazing, service friendly and fast and the atmosphere pleasant- meaning we don't want to share! Had the Mac and Cheese and Southwest Salad - both of which were great, with an extra nod to the Mac and Cheese which comes in several different ways. We followed up with dessert- cheesecake and a fresh pie - no slices here, but a cute little individual pie with ice cream on the side - what more can you ask? Top it off with friendly staff, clean environment and a generally nice place - there weren't enough stars for this review. Well done.

Yelp
Great little diner off the beaten path!! The meatloaf sandwich was amazing and the balsamic dressing is one of a kind!! 2 thumbs up to this place

Yelp
They deserve every bad review. We were passing through the area and stopped for lunch. Never again. The hostess was going to seat us (in a fairly empty restaurant) in the corner booth right next to a table of 7. My 74 year old mom can't crawl into a corner booth and when we pointed at another she rolled her eyes. Yes, I saw her roll her eyes at us. I ordered a cup of soup, the veg, barley beef. Carrots were crunchy. My husband and I ordered a dip sandwich to split, with no onions. It arrived with onions. The waitress picked it up and said grrr. Not sorry but grrr and went to have it replaced. It wasn't even good when replaced but that's besides the point. In the end it got even worse. Once we got back in the car and I put my cash away I realized she shorted us $10. Never ever again. The soupuss looks on the staffs face says it all. Walk away and go somewhere else.

Yelp
I've recently had a poor eating experience at many restaurants. This changed everything. If I could I would give the Roadhouse a 10 star. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were incredible. Good service the whole time we were there. The food was delicious. Usually restaurants like this with a huge selection doesn't specialize in any of it, but this was different. My family got a wide range of different items and we all loved our food. My mom forgot her credit card in the bill and the waiter brought it out to us when we had just gotten in the car. He's very nice and honest. Why are you still reading this review? Go eat at the Roadhouse!
