⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Roasted Granola Cafe on Mass Ave in Arlington, Massachusetts which offers a complete breakfast and lunch experience and a packed healthy menu selected to cater to diverse preferences. The inviting interior and outdoor seating options provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Their staff provided Exceptional customer service that added to the warm ambiance, and one think I we loved most about this place was that every meal was served with a smile by the Super friendly staff. Whether you're a health-conscious foodie or just seeking a relaxing meal, I can assure you The Roasted Granola Cafe guarantees a satisfying and memorable experience for all. Everything we ordered was amazing! ❤️

Google
Nice cafe in Arlington, i had my first ever ginger mocha, not bad. They have good options in coffee as well. Also this is best for granola as name itself suggests. You can customise granola bowl and i went in evening time so there is a about to start some live music.

Google
We got a take out order here for an regular açaí bowl and a grilled roasted veg sandwich. The reason I’m only giving a 3 is the açaí bowl was subpar. The base was soupy and overall just lacking flavor. The veg sandwich was incredible though and full of flavor. Will definitely be back to get another sandwich. Glad to see they had a decent amount of vegan options.

Google
Really awesome gluten free and vegan options! It can swing from almost empty to every single seat full depending on the time of day. Thankfully takeout is always an option.

Google
The coffee was very good. Got the honey bee latte and my friend got cold brew. We could tell the quality was there. The food also was fresh and not overwhelming leaving you feel healthy. Friendly service and vibe too! The vibe is a little classic which is nice.

Google
Cozy local cafe with excellent drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches, also featuring a selection of local crafts and produce. All the egg sandwiches are excellent, and the quiche always hits the spot. Smoothies are also excellent, and the lattes and scones are delicious. (I particularly like the maple spice latte!)

Google
This is a quaint and homey gourmet shop. Friendly to animals and fashions homemade/handmade items for sale alongside coffee. Most options are flavored, the owner seems to be on-site and engaged with customers having a positive visit.

Google
Fun spot in Arlington!! Though I didn’t try the granola, the restaurant smells wonderful filling the air with the aroma of fresh baked granola. Food was better than expected! The salad dressing was particularly refreshing. Prices and portions were fair. Spacious location with indoor and outdoor seating options.

Cameron P.

Yelp
Good espresso. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, I was on a low carb diet, so I could not try the granola.

Yelp
Breakfast time! Finally got a chance to dine in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This place is super cute! It's an order at the counter kind of place and if you dine in they bring your food to your table. They have a variety of yummy breakfast and lunch options along with several coffee options. My bf and I wanted something for breakfast and we decided to build our own breakfast bowls. I ordered oatmeal topped with roasted almonds, bananas and granola. My bf also build his bowl but he got yogurt for his base. We also ordered some specialty coffees which were very good. I did not know what to expect when my bowl came out but I was pleasantly surprised. My granola was served in a big flat plate and it was covered with tons of yummy roasted almonds and slices of bananas. Yum! I didn't think I was going to finish my oatmeal because it seemed like a lot but I actually did!! It was so good and I couldn't stop eating it!

Yelp
Good food and coffee , but man is it pricey . Often you'll get a small sandwich or bowl for $13-14, and it does feel like you're in Europe paying restaurant prices in Paris

Christin K.

Yelp
Cozy spot in the neighborhood to get healthy breakfast w lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Live their variety of oats and smoothies! They also have outdoor seatings

Yelp
When I tell y'all this is one of my favorite coffee shops in the greater Boston area, I am a woman of my word. This local, quaint coffee shop in the heart of Arlington stole my heart when I stopped by after the bike path. It's bright and overwhelmingly local, from the friendliness and eagerness of the employees, to the local art hanging on the walls and crafts + art sold in their little shop corner, to the coffee + granola. Their lattes are very good, and the latte art is obviously a nice perk. Their granola also is a go-to. They truly live to their cafe name. I asked a woman I line how she liked it and she told me it was incredible after proceeding to pack four bags under her arms before ordering her coffee. I can confirm she is, in fact, correct! I got hazelnut & cacao and I can't wait to try the other flavors. The space is also a great place to work, with lots of room and tables to work on a laptop, read a book, sip coffee, grab a bite, chat with a friend. The folks who run the coffee shop are also incredibly kind, their friendliness and hospitality remind me of home. I keep coming back because of the "home away from home" vibe.

Yelp
A breakfast place at Arlington Height, specialized in all kinds of granola bowl. Small and cozy with many local arts and merchandise. Our favorite is classic bow and fig jam bowl. The avocado toast is pretty good too. The coffee here is just ok.

Yelp
I didn't pay much attention to this spot in my neighborhood for a long time. Eventually I realized they were making the delicious granola I was buying at Wilson Farms and I visited. Then I discovered that they carried Sofia's of Belmont yogurt. As I was paying for these I spotted delicious--looking cakes on the counter. So I bought a slice to take home and have with tea, and wow, was I impressed with that moist cake with just the right amount of icing. Finally my neighbor and I decided to try them for lunch, and now we are both fans. She had a Gruyere grilled cheese sandwich, and I had the Roasted Vegetable and Cheese sandwich with a side salad. Both were as tasty as they could be. We discovered that sitting outside under the umbrellas on Mass. Ave. was not as noisy as we had expected. A couple of days later I tried them for lunch. Though the kitchen closed at 2, they had a vegetable quiche that was probably the best quiche I've ever had, with red peppers and spinach. And the service is very nice, what you hope for in a family-owned local place. And the art on the walls and crafts by local crafters offered for sale make it a very pleasant place to visit. I am a tough critic of restaurants, so I'm told, but I can't think of one thing to complain about. I'll definitely be stopping there once a week from now on. Thanks for locating your shop in the Heights, Roasted Granola.

Yelp
Since we ate here everyday for 4 mornings!, thought I'd write review. Does it get ANY better than this for a health-centric, delicious w fanatastic ingredients well-prepared dishes, cafe in the CENTER OF TOWN?! No, it doesn't. We have been raving about this place ever since we discovered it. The staff is superb. The young woman remembered my modified Mango shake and oatmeal bowl ingredients each day to my utter amazement!! The. ambiance both inside and outside are stellar. As our the locally artisan-made gifts throughout the room. Just a special, comforting and classy local cafe. BRAVO to the team of women who created this gem!!

Matt K.

Yelp
Ambiance was wholesome and laid back on a recent Saturday noontime. Coffee was excellent! Warm salad with quinoa was well appreciated. The egg in a brioche was good! Ended up buying beans of the coffee blend they were brewing; it was that good! Also some art and done miscellaneous local artisan knick-knacks for sale. Counter service with the embarrass you into tipping 20% screen that is in vogue was present. I am usually a generous tipper for table service but not 20% for counter service unless it is a complicated order. No complaints about the service just a rant about those force you into tipping flip screen technology.

Juliet K.

Yelp
Emily at the Roasted Granola Cafe makes the best granola I've ever eaten. Its fancy enough to give as a gift, too. I started eating it during the pandemic and have tried all the flavors except the gluten free one, but I like the original the best. I think it's the quality of the honey and the olive oil. I've made my own granola, and it's just not as good as the Roasted Granola. It looks like there's some really good breakfast and lunch options on the cafe menu so I'll have to check that out and update my review later.

Jenny T.

Yelp
Menu was amazing, there were so many varieties of food to choose from and it all looked sooo good! However I was a little disappointed with the bowl I got b/c I felt it was cold and quite flavorless - I got the quinoa bowl and felt like it was veryy average. Although I will say everything tasted fresh. I also got the maple spice latte and felt like it was SUPPPPERR average - I don't ever buy coffee anymore and felt like this wasn't worth the once in a while coffee purchase. However the girls working there were super sweet, and there was outdoor seating. Also interior of store was cute!

Charley B.

Yelp
Great location near the Minuteman Trail. The granola and yogurt bowls are delicious. Good Atomic coffee too. Counter service with table delivery was quick and pleasant. Inside seemed nice and bright, but we ate outside which was better than expected on a quiet Sunday morning.

Bruno R.

Yelp
Love this place - great tasting coffee and food!! The service is great and it is a very cozy spot!

Karina L.

Yelp
How do I start?? This is my most favorite breakfast place in Massachusetts period! Family owned, run by a mom, her daughter and a bunch of sweet, kind youngsters this place is Epic! Everything and I mean everything is made right there in the kitchen! Their breakfast bowls are incredible, I used to order the one with regular granola ( made there duh ) packed with fresh fruit and honey, yum! I am as late crazy about the parfaits! I'm regularly getting the overnight oats one and it's heavenly. My husband and I have a regular weekly breakfast date Saturday mornings :) you will see us there enjoying our choices together with either an almond latte for me and regular coffee for him. Their pastries are finger licking good! Their granola/oat square with jam is oh boy! Their polenta cake is a best seller and it melts in your mouth! The almond coconut cake is dreamy! I do very little gluten/ flour and they always have GF options! When I was doing gluten I was ordering their scones..let me tell you that after trying their scones you will find it hard to like them anywhere else! We sometimes take our doggie with us and they are super welcoming and let us have him sit next to us on the floor. I took my best friend visiting from out of town for lunch last February so I got to order a savory bowl with quinoa and veggies..another score! My friend was so happy! She absolutely loved it! The room is cozy, with local artists paintings/ pictures on the walls and they sell a few items like honey, teas, kitchen towels and their homemade granola!! My hubby eats every morning for his breakfast so we regularly buy to bring home. Prices are very fair for the quality and service you get. We absolutely love this place and we want to support it! It's an Arlington gem !

Jenni F.

Yelp
Overcrowded, understaffed and overwhelmed. We Ordered 2 smoothies. Asked for 20oz to go- up charge for bigger size- no problem. We waited 20 minutes for 2 smoothies to come out in glasses. I asked for the 20oz plastic to go cups that I paid xtra for to get them in 16oz plastic cups... did you drink the rest? Longer line now formed and more overwhelmed staff- we walked out $21 dollars for 2 smoothies. I will try it again because the smoothie was good.

Meredith A.

Yelp
Three words: strawberry bundt cake. I had a slice there today at it was to die for! I could have eaten the whole cake. Their other baked goods looked yummy too , and my café au lait was wonderful! They also have sandwiches and soup. There is seating both inside and outside. I live on the other side of Boston but I'd come back for more cake!

Lara L.

Yelp
Food and coffee were great! It was frustrating to get to the counter only to find out the kitchen was closed - there should have been a sign to let people know before they decided on food. But luckily they had options that could be heated up - quiches and strata! I got the strata and it was delicious

Tara B.

Yelp
Love this place! Great iced chai lattes and granola bowls. Also lovely baked goods. You can get a sweetened, unsweetened or lightly sweetened drink. This is one of the few places I've been able to find that has chai lattes which aren't too sweet as I try to cut down on sugar. They also carry Mem Teas (a great local tea company out of Somerville). Granola bowls are pretty versatile (4 bases, 3 choices of granola, many toppings and drizzles). Adding non-dairy milk or more than 2 toppings is only $.50! (Toppings include chia seeds, hemp seeds, almonds, etc.) Bonus points for carrying and making products from Ackerman Maple Farm (a company ran by a couple from Vermont I coincidentally know from college). Staff is always friendly. They have a great selection of art and local products inside. Also have been enjoying the outdoor seating.

Risa K.

Yelp
Its a very cute local spot with great service and a variety of offerings. I didnt get to try their actual food (yogurt/smoothie/salad bowls) but they had so many baked goods and cool drink selection. They also had a good amount of gluten free baked goods. Out of sweet and savory scones, I got the blueberry scone, which was super delicious and not too sweet. I got hot tea and they serve the whole pot to you so the tea was very fresh. I really like the vibe of this place and that they sell/support local goods!

Laura A.

Yelp
Great local gem, delicious, fresh baked goods. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Yummy breakfasts and lunches. I love the lemon scones (my co workers prefer the savory ones when I take them to work!) my kids love the blueberry muffins and banana bread. They also love the smoothies! I love the matcha lattes (with oat milk) and many different lunch meals. The granola is delicious with yogurt and seasonal toppings. Or on a cold day, soup and grilled cheese and amazing.

Emily C.

Yelp
I went to the Roasted Granola in February on Valentine's Day and ordered a hot latte to-go. It was an easy process when I ordered, if you drive they ask for the model of your car to be on the lookout for when you drive up. I decided to peek under the lid and behold-- a latte heart! This small but sweet gesture was much appreciated, and I'll definitely be coming back here for a caffeinated pick-me-up again soon.

Kelly B.

Yelp
I've been here several times. It's a cute little coffee shop that makes their own granola and has some other food options. The only thing I can say that I don't love is the set up. It's not cozy. They really need to get some comfy furniture in here. A place you can nook with a book or your lab top. I just find the bland tables and chairs they have to be uncomfortable and Uninviting. Besides that the place is wonderful. Good drinks. Great service. Cool vibe.

Anna F.

Yelp
They're very nice inside. Tried a bag of the original granola- delicious! Had it for breakfast all week with Greek yogurt. Also got farm fresh eggs and maple syrup :D.

Sandy L.

Yelp
I discovered this place from a Facebook post. The food is delicious! I had some bright green pea soup and a big slice of quiche. The lemon polenta cake baked here is yummy. The only thing I wondered about was that the tables weren't wiped down between customers and there was a table with dirty dishes left on it. After all, I know it's a minor thing. I'll be going back!

Christine K.

Yelp
Bad experience- ordered a large sandwich for extra. Size was smaller than 2 quarters of a small club sandwich. Raised to Front staff who passed it off to the kitchen. Waitress came back to our table & practically threw the plate down on the table and said they made it based on the size of the bread. GET SOME BETTER BREAD. Bad customer service, extremely rude staff person and unresponsive kitchen - won't be going back.

Angela M.

Yelp
Really delicious and healthy variety of food and drinks! If you are in a rush, I recommend calling to place an order for pickup before coming in:) I often stop here on my lunch break. Always a treat!

Naho S.

Yelp
I was there today and ordered a medium coffee and an Avocado toast. I sat down at a table inside and waited for my avocado toast close to 10min. Reached out to a lady who took my order and asked her if I'm getting it soon. I said you didn't take my name or give me a number tag. I wondered how they would know I'm waiting for it. She just said it takes time. I was like ok. I'll just wait! And then I waited, waited and waited for more than 30min. She often looked my table so I'm sure she knew my order was not there yet. After almost one hour later, I gave up and left. It was kind of busy time and there was a long line at cashier. I didn't want to go there or even ask for a refund. I probably won't go back there.

Brinda S.

Yelp
I loved the ambience and the amazing sandwich options they have.i tried the fig jam sandwich and it made my day.

Joseph W.

Yelp
This cafe is perfect! It's clean, homely, and the food/coffee are unbelievably good. I have been there a few times in the past year and I am so happy that the entire menu is available for take-out. I have also ordered their products online as gifts and have received amazing feedback from the recipients each time.

Ian M.

Yelp
Warning do NOT come here First of all the last review I made got blocked from there yelp do I had to make a new one. First of all the food there is really bad. And don't even get me started on the "yogurt bowls". I have gotten my revenge on you roasted granola cafe. This time don't block me ether

Julie F.

Yelp
I've been here twice, and I really like coming here. My first experience was great. I had a grilled cheese and soup, and both were delicious and filling. There are lots of tables inside and some small couches in the corner. My second time was mixed. I had a granola bowl, but I thought it was disappointing. It was good, but it was small. There was barely any fruit in it - a couple of blueberries, a tiny amount of kiwi I added almonds for an additional cost, and there were maybe 4 or 5. It was definitely tasty and not something you normally find, but it was small for $9. I ate more food when I got home. Also, the door opens right into the cafe which made for an uncomfortable chilly day. My friend's roasted veggie bowl looked good and filling. I'll stick to the soup and sandwich. Will definitely be back because everyone is so nice. 3 1/2 rounded to 4.

Bob D.

Yelp
Love this place the quality is always fantastic and the staff and atmosphere always nice. I've been enjoying their granola for years and am so excited they have a store front

Rhonda J.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place. The good: delicious fresh baked goods, yummy drinks, and the avocado toast is delicious. Also, very nice staff and owner. Another plus is that they use compostable packaging and sustainable practices. The bad: expensive. For a small tea, pastry, and avocado toast, I paid $16.00... Also, the last few times I came here, they had various issues. Online payment system not working, ran out of bread, outlets got "unplugged..." They can be very slow, as well, so I don't come here when I am in a hurry or have somewhere to be. Overall, I would recommend coming here, but there are some downsides too.

Clare S.

Yelp
I was in for a treat when I went to the roasted granola Café to meet a friend for lunch. We both had grilled Panini sandwiches, I had a roasted vegetable Panini and a very delicious iced mint tea. The food was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and prompt with their orders. The ambience of the café is very relaxed and they have a nice space with comfortable tables and a very open feeling. It was a relaxing way to spend an afternoon chatting with a friend. I highly recommend this café. All cafes should aspire to this.

Mae O.

Yelp
Dying over their food, it is so amazing. The customer service is impeccable and the servers are so kind. 100% recommend

Tracey N.

Yelp
Just got one of the best wet cappuccinos I've ever had! And the kids (sorry guys!) working behind the counter were professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee.

dora h.

Yelp
Simply Love this place! Cafe is amazingly great! I was there last week in the very early morning, the owner increased the temperature for me cause it was too early that the room wasn't warm enough, feel warm inside of my heart. this is the place that I would like to spend the whole afternoon /morning staying.

Francesca L.

Yelp
THE BEST espresso/coffee in Arlington, hands down. My mom also really enjoyed the granola bowl she ordered. So glad Arlington Heights has this new joint, definitely check it out!

C K.

Yelp
Lovely Arlington local coffee shop. Everyone is so nice inside and I love the all the little treats and gifts you can buy. SHOP LOCAL. Oh yeah and the coffee rocks!

V P.

Yelp
One of the best iced Lattes I've had in Arlington in the last 10+ years. It makes me sad that I waited this long to try it.

Gabby R.

Yelp
As someone who lives in Arlington Heights, I have been terribly disappointed at the cafe selection (basically just a Starbucks). I finally tried The Roasted Granola today and was pleasantly surprised that good coffee had made its way this far up Mass Ave! I saw that they sell Counter Culture coffee beans, so I am assuming that is what they use. I got an oat milk latte and a smoothie granola bowl. Great quality and there were a lot of other food options I hope to try. I agree with other reviewers about the atmosphere though. It's quite bare bones and I feel like a stylish interior upgrade could do them some good. Also, they only have a wall menu for their granola bowls and the rest of the specials are printed on pieces of paper and scattered all over the counter. After I had made a decision I saw even more specials when I got to the counter and that was a little frustrating. Streamline that menu display or make some printed menus!

J G.

Yelp
This place is easy to miss unless you know it's there, it blends right in with the other few restaurants on the street in front of the heights. Inside is a large space, lots of seating spread out. It has a distinctly hipster vibe, with a piano in the corner and lots of artwork for sale on the walls. Its a relaxing and quiet atmosphere, definitely a good place to get some studying or work done. There are a couple couches in the corner, but they really look like they need to be cleaned. The pillows were covered with tiny wooden splinter pieces and there were stains on the cushions. The table I sat at also looked like it hadn't been wiped down all day. So they could really work on cleanliness. The coffee itself was tasty, prices were average for a cafe (cappucinno was $4, latte was $5). There were a few baked goods on the counter, but nothing appealing. IMO they should get some cakes and other bakery items like caffe nero does.

Leon P.

Yelp
Excellent food. The owner and all the staff are super nice. Great coffee and ice cream. Great granola. Love the outdoor seating on Mass ave! Such a nice addition to the neighborhood.

Liza L.

Yelp
Really fabulous customer service. The barista's care and are very patient. Best vegan baked goods in Arlington. Great breakfast options if you are not an egg person.

Amirhassan S.

Yelp
The best place in the world! If you are looking for a peaceful place with amazing people go there! They are extremely nice and thoughtful. The food are delicious and everything is great. Supporting a local business with such a nice people is more more important than having he most mouthful omelet! Amazing vibe!

Sushmita S.

Yelp
A gem of a place with great coffee and breakfast bowls. I loved the Chia Pudding Bowl and Cortado. Every time I came here I wonder why I don't come more often.

Kim B.

Yelp
This place is great. Friendly service and good food. If they were open through lunch on the weekends, it would be even better!

Rick H.

Yelp
What a great community spot. The Latte I had was amazing and the Grandola with Oatmeal was hot and very tasty. I would highly recommend this place. Great Service Free WiFi Amazing hospitality.

Heather R.

Yelp
Fun, literally earthy crunchy goodness. Baked goods are devine, coffee is great and granola bowls are perfect.

Helen R.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here yesterday. Amazing quinoa bowl -- quinoa was not overcooked, the veggies were well roasted and perfectly seasoned, the tahini sauce was lovely. The pie dough in the quiche was buttery and flaky, and the savory scone (with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil) was light and fluffy. The prices were surprisingly great. Most places charge a lot more for food of this quality. If I lived in Arlington, I'd be here several times a week. What a perfect neighborhood place.
