The Roasterie Drive Thru

Best coffee in KC and good service. I don’t think the drive through folks should just blatantly ask for a tip each time you drive through, however. Always glad to tip, but maybe have an iPad you can flip around for tips like most places. This is more professional and doesn’t guilt trip your customers into tipping. Just my two cents. Regardless, I’ll be back!

Took a chance and went far out of the way to drive thru at the home of The Roasterie. The coffee is always great from there, but getting in and out of there wasn't fun. The prices were the highest I've ever paid for an iced coffee. Two coffees, with an extra shot $22. Are you kidding me?First and last trip. I'll order from the website from now on.

I absolutely love this drive thru. Chelsea, Jada, Olivia, and Chuck are the friendliest staff and caring! My fiancé and I are regulars that frequent weekly several times. On crap days, I will go grab a coffee just to see their friendly faces. I do wish that this location stayed on top of supplies though....had a rough go with lack of honey and cups a while ago.

I have always loved coming here for an iced latte when I visit downtown, the coffee is awesome and the service is great, but I just bought a large iced latte that was over $8 without tip. 🤯 How can you justify that price point?

Just went through the drive through. The chocolate croissant was freaking huge lol. Amazing wow. Wish they would’ve asked if I wanted it warmed up/toasted but it’s ok. Haha still tasted amazing and wow so filling! Yum!!

Yummy egg nog latte seasonal special. Spacious lounge area. They even have a museum with tours and a great little gift shop.

Always quick and always friendly. Try to get there every week or two but it's a little bit of a drive.

First time here! Finally made it to the OG location off southwest boulevard. There are factory tours offered and a great gift souvenir boutique. The coffee is always one of my KC favorites. I got the seasonal egg nog special and it did not disappoint. Hubby got black with a couple shots of dark chocolate, he said it was one of the better ones! We didn't try any food this time but there was a nice selection of pastries and wraps. Service was good and friendly. Lots of seating, a great place to work or hang out. Come and check this cool coffee shop and more out!

We made reservations for the tour ($5.00 pp) and it did not disappoint. We learned so much about coffee from the growing, cultivating, selection process, roasting to packaging. The varieties offered in store and even more online was amazing. We also got brewing tips. I walked away with a totally new appreciation for coffee. Oh and you get a 10% discount in store and cafe that day. It was a Win-Win

Loved this place!! I was on a road trip and saw the coffee factory cafe. The plane on the outside and inside design was very cool. The little shop and tours were awesome and most of all when I just picked up a bag of coffee beans the smell was incredible!! I usually like my coffee with cream and sugar but this coffee has so much flavor it didn't require anything added to it!

Every time I come by this Roasterie location it's through the drive thru, which to be honest, is such a clutch feature these days and in this part of town. I can't tell you how many times I'm driving down SW Boulevard on my way to or from a meeting and thinking, "gee, it would be wonderful to have a quality coffee" and BAM there is the Roasterie. The Baristas working the drive thru are always kind and efficient. I'll absolutely be back!

The drive thru is so convenient and the service is always great. The iced Honeycomb is my favorite! My favorite seasonal drink is the Egg Nog Latte. The breakfast burritos are also yummy!

Used to be a regular spot. Pretty frequently every chance I am downtown KC. It's a common occurrence that when I pull up to the window, I grab my coffee, pour it into my yeti and I hand the cup back. I actually completed this yesterday...no issues. BUT TODAY AFTER DEMANDING A TIP FOR BLACK CIDFEE....in her most disgusted KAREN VOICE "it's been in your car....you're gonna have to throw it away yourself...... So long Roasterie....hope you liked your tip....no more from me.

So glad to have come to this Roasterie location to check out the tour. The tour was awesome!! It catered to coffee aficionados and casual coffee drinkers. It delved into the science, cultural, and environmental aspects of coffee roasting and kept the information interesting for a varied crowd. The tour guide, Bosten, did a phenomenal job of fielding questions and making the information accessible to the entire group regardless of the room size. It was a great stop for out-of-town guests, or anybody interested in coffee! Made me appreciate all the work that goes into my morning cup, and all that The Roasterie does to make an impact on the world of coffee!

Have been a faithful subscription coffee customer for a year. Orders used to be delivered 2 days after payment processed. They changed their systems, didn't notify customers, subscription orders now take a week or more to ship out and I don't get coffee for 2 weeks. And then they send a notice that prices are increasing 10%. Emails to ask about order status go unanswered. Shipping label was created a week ago and carrier is still waiting for Roasterie to give them my package. I figured I would give them a few months to work out the kinks of their new system. It's gotten WORSE! Buyer beware. Don't become a subscription order customer. I can't speak for in-cafe experience, but their website and shipping departments are awful.

Quality of coffee and presentation has fallen way off since Danny sold his business. The cappuccinos are nothing more than hot milk in a cup. What happened to the art of making a great cup of coffee? Where's the artwork and finesse? This is unfortunately on par with Starbucks which I hate. We have been customers since Danny started his business over 17 years ago. My husband returned and asked them to remake our cappuccinos. Training is lacking with your barristas Please retrain and instill some pride in your associates to make the best coffee drinks like you used to.

I travel all over the country and this is hands-down the best mocha you'll ever find. Do not waste your time with others. Way too syrupy and sweet to the point where you're practically gagging on sugar at the end. I think the secret with Roasterie is high quality chocolate milk. Very smooth and consistent bitter chocolate note all the way to the last sip!
