"The Robin Room resists pigeonholing itself into a purely tiki aesthetic, but it sure does produce some fine tiki-style drinks in addition to classic cocktails and inventive house recipes. The menus are bound like old library books, helpfully arranged by base spirit; make sure you read to the end for a surprise chapter on snacks that you won’t want to miss. If I lived closer, I’d have a Robin Room Hotel Nacional every day after work. This is truly one of the state’s best bars, a gem." - Kyle Nabilcy

Frequent here often as it’s right around the corner from where we live. The craftsmanship behind every cocktail is wonderful. Would recommend an aviation or one of their seasonal cocktails on tap! Very friendly staff and always a good time.

Google
Best local neighborhood bar ever!❤️❤️❤️ went during Tiki week, absolutely loved the selections. Not sure I’ve had a pina colada this good. It’s like the Pina in the window is their call sign for this drink. One of the best ways ever to spend my birthday night! Thanks RR! And if you go, check out the spine of your menu for a little inspiration or a conversation topic.

Delicious snacks, a Vesper, and a Boilermaker = perfect rainy Thursday evening. Excellent 90s music and cool nostalgic atmosphere.

Literally best cocktail place in town! I have been to basically every place that serves great cocktails in Madison and this is our favorite. By a long shot.l! Bartenders are amazing and provide great suggestions and are consistent. Small bites if you munchy. Great place to date night or late night drink.

Lovely find while going out last weekend. Drinks, atmosphere and service were superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we will be back!

Google
Came here on a weekend based on recommendations. Awesome cocktails with a crazy menu. They have specials and then a menu of cocktails for the type of spirit: gin, whiskey, etc. Very busy but fun vibe with a friendly crowd. Bartender was awesome too.

This is my favorite cocktail bar in Madison. Every time I visit I love coming here to try allocated whiskey and cocktails. Bartending staff was friendly.

Yelp
Quaint. Great care in cocktail craft. Hip crowd but we didn't feel out of place. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We always seem to gravitate towards The Robin Room whenever we're feeling like grabbing a casual drink. Located slightly past downtown, I feel like this spot tends to steer clear of the college crowd. First off, their drink menu is awesome. There's a section for each type of liquor so no matter what mood you're in, they've got you covered. I've also found this format useful when I'm feeling like trying something new. Their labeled pictures are really helpful to get an idea of what you're ordering! The weekends tend to get pretty packed at night and there is limited seating, but we've always managed to grab a spot at the bar and make our way to the tables after a bit!

Yelp
The Robin Room's dimly-lit, cozy-yet-sophisticated atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a cocktail bar. I prefer sitting in the comfy couch, but of course there's bar seating and high tops to choose from. I got The Devil Wears Prado - a mezcal cocktail. It was quite strong and I will get something else next time. Too mezcal-y for my taste but hey, that's the risk I took. The bartender was quick even though the bar was full when we got there. The ambience was the perfect balance of popular yet low-key. Not super noisy and no brushing up against people. Phew. They have a wide variety of options and I'm excited to try more!

Paige M.

Yelp
We sat up at the bar on a Saturday night and had a great time. The cocktails were some of the best we ever had. The list is extensive and has something for everyone. They had frozen aviation that I wish we would have tried. They also had a nitro tap drink that was well-balanced and refreshing! Their wine list was also great! The vibe is definitely what makes it ... hipster heaven, which is our favorite. The jams were on point and we will be back agian.

Jazzmine R.

Yelp
It was my first time visiting this bar. I almost passed it by when using my gps to find it by foot (out of towner). The double R on the door made me realize I was at the correct spot. I had two Moscow mules while meeting up with a date. The drinks were strong and delicious. The aesthetic/ vines was nice. I was thankful for the soft lighting. It was clean and decorated nicely. Overall it was a really great experience. I would definitely go back here to meet up with a date or for a friend meet up. Their drink menu is quite extensive, so you'll have plenty of options to choose from. I look forward to going back. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Incredibly laid back setting with awesome cocktails. My wife and I had a great time relaxing on their comfy couches after grabbing a bite at Little Tibet. Would absolutely recommend, especially for a date night.

Daniela G.

Yelp
It's like this place tries too hard without trying hard enough. It simply drips with inauthentic hipster doucheness. The drinks are thoughtfully well crafted, but the bartender was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. Wont be going back.

Erin M.

Yelp
Are you all about that vibe? The Robin Room serves up some cozy vibes and fancy drinks. I friggin love this little spot. It's tucked between an amazing plant store, a tattoo shop, and a vintage clothing boutique. Kinda creates the perfect little afternoon. Stopped in here with a friend on our Saturday funday and ordered the French martini. Very light flavor and easy to drink. We only had the one cocktail, but I easily could have had several of these. Staff was friendly, the drink menu was extensive and they had beer on tap too. We came at a good time (4 PM-ish) to get seats at the bar because it got packed really fast. It's definitely a popular spot. Make this a stop on your weekend fun days!

Karen H.

Yelp
Enjoyed their tasty, fun, and fancy cocktails. The bartenders are knowledgeable and create delicious drinks. Cool ambiance. I plan to become a regular.

Chloe C.

Yelp
Drinks are always great. This spot is very cool. I have always been served right away with it even being busy in the bar. The bar is very small though, so keep that in mind on a weekend night when going out.

Allen M.

Yelp
I was in town visiting my brother who lives in Madison, Wisconsin who recommended this unique bar. There was a wide drink selection and I was very pleased with the speed of service. We tried several different drinks ranging from gin to brandy to tequila. The ambience was friendly and I would definitely come back here the next time I am in Madison. I will be sure to try out their other drinks.

Corbin B.

Yelp
Very cozy and intimate space. Really charming decor. Good bar professionals making quick service. Got a delicious negroni cocktail and got another one with mezcal over gin. For my house cocktail I got a delicious one with rum, sorta a tiki drink. Quite delicious.

Jeff C.

Yelp
A hidden classic. The level of drink knowledge by the staff is superb and the drinks hit on a whole nother level! I highly recommend the robin room and I can't wait to return! It's so good!

Marla S.

Yelp
Great ambience and even better drinks. No matter your liquor of choice, you'll find a great cocktail.

Carmelo E.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by for cocktails and we ended up with a cocktail experience. These cocktails are at the level of marvel and complexity that we have experienced in London, Paris and Montreal. The friendly and knowledgeable Matthew was unpretentious and a good listener to our tastes: he made me a gin-based fruity gingery cocktail and he made my husband a marvelous vanilla and rum extravaganza. We went on a Sunday so it was quiet and we loved it that way. This is a place we will definitely go back to! This is a WOW place.

Cassandra D.

Yelp
Terrible experience two 30 ur old women working . one served my boyfriend and I then the other lady was extremely rude to us and ruined our night. great menu bad people! would not recommend!

Kirsten C.

Yelp
One of my favorite little bars in Madison. Dark, cozy, and a stellar cocktail menu. A great place to meet with friends, or cap off a romantic evening, or even bring a laptop and do some writing. The space is small - this makes for an intimate atmosphere, but you've gotta plan ahead if you're coming here with a large group. Early is better!! Certainly recommend.

Sydney R.

Yelp
WOW! This is my new favorite cocktail bar by far. The drinks are made right in front of you at the bar and made to perfection. The staff are super knowledgeable and professional. The bartender made great suggestions for us. He asked us what spirit we liked and then taste profiles and made us drinks we both loved! The atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. This is a great place to go to perhaps before dinner or after a nice dinner they are open late!

Taylor D.

Yelp
Intimate atmosphere, delectable drinks. After many recommendations from friends and coworkers, I finally made it over to Robin Room for a couple drinks. Love the feel of this place, vintage decor, dim office lamp lighting. The drinks will definitely have you coming back for more!

Lauren L.

Yelp
This is a great place to grab a cocktail or two. It is a small spot so be prepared to stand on a Friday or Saturday night. They have an extensive menu. I would recommend the gin cocktail that contains egg white. I get that every time I visit! The workers are friendly and put thought into making the drinks. They also have cocktails on draft.

Jiaqi W.

Yelp
There are cocktail bars that will make you nothing more complicated than a built gin and tonic. Then there are cocktail bars that have a few cocktails but as soon as you ask for something obscure you get a confused look. Then there are bars where you can tell they know their stuff, they make drinks that are proportioned with accuracy, can make you most classics without asking twice, and they have originals but they are typically small variations on classics with different names. Then there is Robin Room. This is the kind of cocktail bar that understands the craft to the highest degree and creates originals the way a cordon bleu chef creates new dishes. Every original is created to make a flavor that the world has never tasted before. They also pull off classics with perfection.

Yelp
Robin Room, this is my joint. As hip, cool, swanky and just all out decadent as it gets. I LOVE coming to Madison and hanging out here. First off, this spot is very low key. The double R greets you on the exterior door and if you don't recognize that this is the Robin Room, well then you missed it. Tables on the left and bar to the right with a big front area with tables and chairs to chillax on by the massive front window are just some of the features that greet one upon entry. Everything else is as should be expected for a joint of this caliber. Turntable, yes please. Vinyl, well definitely. They spin real records and make Robin Room as inviting as a bar can get. Drinks, well this place has more than a few to choose. A great selection of brews on tap along with a full bar to pick your poison. Take that and add more than a handful of those special cocktails you cannot or will not see anywhere else, yes this is the place. My mouth waters just thinking about getting over to the Robin to handle my business. Centrally located to all things hip and funky in Madison located on East Johnson, this is the place to be. Dead center between Forequarter and Salvatore's Tomato Pies, I dare you to pick another bar and get stuck up in it and need some food to eat, choices are right there. To go with that the staff is friendly and the vibe second to none, slanging straight vinyl for your ears to listen. All that make this prime territory to lounge. Robin Room you had me the first time I walked through the door!

Catherine Z.

Yelp
LOVE this place! Hip and intimate environment with extensive cocktail collection. Came on a week night at 6:30 pm and it was packed. It's a seat yourself situation - we were able to grab a table after waiting 10-15 min. Ahan had a pop up kitchen there which was delicious!! Definitely must stop when in Madison!

Matthew P.

Yelp
This place is great. They have an awesome bourbon selection and friendly/attentive service. The space is very cozy and nice as well. Just one of the best places to go for a cocktail in Madison.

Cherise K.

Yelp
Oh Yes, I am in LOVE with this place. Settled on the east side of Madison, a couple of blocks from the square, this nestled place on Johnson is such a treat! You'd miss it if you haven't heard of it or wasn't looking as it is right next to a tattoo parkour of almost the same name. The feel once you walk in is old timey and complete with a record machine in the corner. Prebrewed cocktails are concocted ahead of time and poured through a tap for everyones pleasure. Samples are available if you're nice to your bartender. They are also great for casual conversation while waiting for a mate. But going back to the cocktails, these pleasures change daily to weekly with the usual rotating drinks like Whiskey Sour always on. I highly recommend coming here for a girls night out pregame first stop or for a date. i know I've done both and enjoyed them equally! Happy drinking!

Yelp
A friend kept talking highly about the Robin Room, so I had to give it a try! We were at Breese Stevens for an event, so we decided to walk over to the Robin Room for a refreshing drink. I'm so glad we did. The building is kind of nondescript on the exterior and we totally walked right by it. We turned around and the double Rs on the door told me that we were at the right place. They were about half capacity, so we were able to get a seat at the end of the bar. We were greeted right away by the busy bartender. He was very good at multi-tasking! He was making complex cocktail drinks and taking new drink orders at the same time. If you want to try one of their crafty cocktails, they have a cocktail book to order from. The casual but trendy place was clean and smaller than I expected. They have quite a bit of seating though. Some patrons had opted to stand at the bar with friends, even though there were open tables nearby. Everyone around us was chatty and pretty cool company as we drank our beer/cocktails. I had a Door County porter and its was great, as always. Next time, I'm opting for one of their crafty cocktails. I was mesmerized by the creative cocktails that I saw the bartender making. They have a large variety of cocktail enhancements (bitters, liqueurs, etc) that they were using for drinks. I was sitting next to a retro record player. I wanted to scratch a record on it so bad! The music they had playing was upbeat and great though. As a side note: they have some fine Japanese whiskeys here (I took a photo for you whiskey connoisseurs out there!). Some of them are hard to find and quite a few places in this area do not have them in stock. If you're looking for a quality whiskey, make sure to put the Robin Room on your list.

Mallory B.

Yelp
This place is INSANE -Funky kind of vintage decor with a cozy couch and random phone booths in the front and the place is ~dimly lit~ for date vibes -Friendly bar staff who are somehow still pretty attentive considering how busy this place can get -DELICIOUS, unique, beautiful cocktails from a pretty expansive menu. They also have some drinks on tap, along with some decent rotating beers if you want brews before liquor I've yet to try any of the snacks but this is a fun spot to have a drink with friends or just people watch you decide

Afarin B.

Yelp
This is a great intimate bar! I was reminded of a lot of my favorite spots back home so I was glad we were able to check this place out on our weekend trip. Both cocktails I had were very good. I got two of the classics rather than any of the House Cocktails. The Hemingway Daquiri was tasty and $10. My second drink was the Queen's Park Swizzle $9. After two cocktails we moved to a different bar since I didn't think stomaching more cocktails was a good idea. The inside of the bar is dark and there is wood plank detailing on the ceiling over the bar. They have a variety of beer on tap as well and it looks like they are rotating since the names are written on a fun narrow/lengthy chalk board that's installed over the taps. Bartenders were prompt and cordial - lots of fierce cocktail shaking and making happening behind the bar! I do think empty glasses could have been cleared from tables more promptly however. I walked 3 of ours back so they wouldn't take up space when we ordered more.

Wendy R.

Yelp
Quaint, trendy space. Drinks are on point and very well presented! Love that they have Island Orchard's brut cider on tap always. Not pictured, but their painkiller is my favorite drink.

Bobb S.

Yelp
We stopped in on a rainy Tuesday night to grab a few drinks and were met with a jam packed bar, The RR is not large, it's cozy with seating against the wall and in front and a bar that takes up most of the right hand wall. This is not the place to bring a large group. Visually, it's appealing-dark wood, subway tile backsplash behind the taps, everything gave off a "cool" vibe. Audibly, a whole other story as the acoustics are terrible (as others have noted in past reviews). My girlfriend and I were seated a foot apart from each other and had to shout to be heard. Our cocktails were well executed and I feel are some of the best in Madison. My better half went with her tried and true favorite-The aviation while I opted for penicillin-a perfect blend of Laphroig, lemon, honey and ginger. Pro-tip #1: There isn't any table service (or none that night) so belly up to the bar to place your order. Pro-Tip #2: People watching is an A+ here. Never have I seen a group trying so hard to be different that they actually all look the same. From the guy wearing Jordan's and a fedora worrying about his shoes getting scuffed to the woman wearing high waisted jeans silently lamenting over American Apparel going bankrupt, it was quite the scene. It was hard not to inform them that this isn't Brooklyn but a solid bar on the near east side of a small Midwestern town. Just stop trying so hard and it will all work out, people.

Katie M.

Yelp
I love this place. Friendly staff, unique drinks and a welcoming atmosphere have me coming back. I love the pop-up dinners hosted here and the craft cocktail selection is superior. My girlfriend and I went here on our first date and it is the perfect atmosphere to get to know someone.

Ami R.

Yelp
What a beautiful space. Handsome, cozy, sophisticated and comfortable. The Sazerac was delicious, the music lovely and at a volume you could easily converse. This was day one so service was a little lacking but that is to be expected. El Grito provided amazing tacos which were expertly prepared. The perfect bar food. I may become a bar fly. I shall return.

Eric B.

Yelp
Decent neighborhood joint- a bit hipster for my liking. They excel at craft cocktails. The drinks are really very good and made with attention to detail. I was there as it pertains to this review on a Saturday night. It was pretty crowded... a good thing from a business perspective and clearly patrons were enjoying themselves. Despite it being crowded the service was good. The only downside is that it's noisy - a bit difficult to carry on a conversation.

Michelle D.

Yelp
If you go at the right time, you can get into the Robin Room. It is a beautiful neighborhood bar that focuses on balanced drinks. We braved it on the Opening of the Sylvee and got a great table. They often have a food takeover and on the night I went, Frabonis took over and sold three sandwiches, antipasto plate, and cannoli. We got the meatball sandwich and the porketta sandwich. Both were extremely good. My drink was the Penicillin. A Scotch based drink with ginger and honey. A very cleaver and tasty drink. I did feel better after drinking it. My pal had the Negroni on tap. She is always looking for the best one in town. She was not disappointed. I was glad to finally get in and enjoy the bar for a bit.

Shana M.

Yelp
Favorite cocktail bar in town. I love the drinks and the ambience. The bartenders are amazing. I recommend Robin Room to anyone who asks for a great place to get drinks in Madison, and frequently ask people to meet up there.

Mark S.

Yelp
This place has a great selection of drinks. Happy to come here to try a new scotch or bourbon. Cocktails are good and creative too. Prices are fairly affordable and the staff is friendly. My major issue with the place is the acoustics. It gets really loud when it is busy, which drowns out what is usually pretty good music that is playing and can make it tough for a conversation. It's an awesome neighborhood bar overall.

Stacey L.

Yelp
What a great space! It's hard to argue with a place that uses a neon pineapple to denote whether they're open or not. I made my first trip to Robin Room on a dreary Tuesday evening but the warm, inviting interior perked the day up right quick. When I arrived around six it wasn't too crazy busy, but the space quickly filled in. I joined some friends who had parked themselves in the couch & chair seating area in the front picture window and enjoyed the natural light and people watching. Eventually I made my way up to the bar. They have a small cocktail menu with about two drinks per liquor type. The menu is designed beautifully, giving each cocktail a labeled diagram that is reminiscent at once of a scientific drawing and a silhouette portrait. Cocktails ranged from $8-10. Nothing was striking my fancy on that day so I was giving the tap list written on boards behind the bar a once-over when I noticed a subway tile with red writing that listed the ingredients for a cherry rickey - gin, cherry juice, lime, seltzer, and, if I am remembering correctly, cherry-vanilla bitters. This all sounded like a dream minus the gin. In my mind, bourbon was the pairing that this mix was destined for, so I asked the bartender if I could sub it in. He was game, and the result was a very delicious and refreshing summer cocktail. The only thing keeping me from a five-star rating was the acoustics. It was so insanely loud for how small the place is. Between the music being piped overhead and the conversations of other groups bouncing off the walls, my friends and I could barely hear each other. I found myself doing the smile and nod way more than I should have, and eventually I asked if I was the only one having trouble hearing. All the ladies in my group affirmed that they were struggling as well. The atmosphere is perfect for sitting and talking or would make a great date-night spot, but the struggle to actually hear what's being said is real.

Adrian G.

Yelp
This place has great freakin cocktails! Went around the area to go bar hoping and drinking and all these bars really talked this place up. So had to come try this place before leaving back to Cali. The fact this place was so talked about...I can understand why now. Shit was dope as fuck! Hipster-classy feel to the place with clean restrooms and very talkative bar tenders. Very knowledgeable about what they serve. I didn't know what I wanted and just threw out my drink preference and the bar tender led me to a couple of options he assumed I would prefer. He was right on the mark! Loved my tiny little tasty drink! They even had this peach slushy thing as well as beer selections. The peach slushie was very yummy and refreshing! The customers here that I interacted with were very friendly and nice. Was able to pick up several conversations without any awkward moments. They place really attracts the very good clientele, much respect! I really loved this place! If I ever get a chance to come back, I will definitely visit this place again.

Yelp
Let me first start this story with how boring Madison bar scene is when you are in the downtown area by the capitol or down on State street. Each year for 30 days when I'd make a visit to Madison since 2012 after finally graduating from UW-Madison, I find myself looking for something new but also not finding the right group of people to enjoy my time with. I'm not much of a big speaker or like to juice up on gossip on life or anyone. Madison has created this gap where I'm started to feel misplace where I, one day in my first week here in Madison started to walk home from a photoshoot and decide to do late night street photography walk and there it was, his hidden gem. No banner, No outrageous people chain smoking or I like to used the word "scuttlebutt" in front of the place. The Robin room was not just calling my name but I needed to reboot my experience here in Madison. As soon as I sat down, it just felt right, it felt good, it felt like my other selective places that I have travel to and made it my choice to try is almost in the same category and it was called The Robin Room. Continue to visit for a week to see if there was any thing I don't like. It was the Pineapple in the window display that made me curious. The one drink that I'd saw and I started to get on nerdy but happy inside was a brand of Japanese whiskey called Nikka and that was my first alcohol beverage then off to some excellent IPA choices they had and then Mojito's. For the last 3 weeks and 4 days, I've took it a pond myself to visit there almost everyday after 7pm but there has been times during the late afternoon hours after 4pm, where I had a shitty day and I just needed a cold Mojito or Beer on a hot day or days in Madison. I'm not sugar coating this place everyone at all, it just felted that good of a place to want to return like other bars that I have visit in Portland, San Diego, NYC, Vancouver B.C, London, Denmark, even in S.Korean. This is one bar that is surely going to be added to the best places to get a professional drink and have a good conversation in such a well but clean Atmosphere. I'm going there for my last visit tonight which is Thursday, August 4th 2016 and I'm going to miss this place so damn much. I wish I can take the place with me to the airport because airports don't have good drinks and they are super over price for water down Mojito's or beer. Would you like to visit a place where the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about their selection of Gin to Rum? I'd believe you would like? Then what in Buddha name are you doing or wasting your time going to some of these college bar where it's all about those plastic cups w water down drinks. You like taste don't you? Then stop by when you have a chance and check it out yourself but don't and please don't bring people that are going to ruined such a wonderful place. It's open to everyone. Oh, did I discuss that they do have Sujeo on the first Tues and 3 week but I can be wrong about that, because i don't eat pork but everyone is crazy for the food and I think it's a nice combination. They serve other food one other weeks so you may want to ask about days where food is being serve at the Robin Room. Go and have a good time for me please. Thanks Keiki - The Panda Photographer

Yelp
OK Robin Room, I see you!! I live in the area and am very pleased to have another close-to-home option for drinks. This place is very tastefully decorated - kind of a modern Art Deco meets Los Angeles vacation house - and the drink options are great. I've had the on-tap cocktail several times now and loved it every time. It's hip but not as intimidating as Forequarter and about three steps above the 'Bou on the official "Dive Bar to Fancy Bar Scale". Bartenders are proficient and pleasant. It's a similar vibe and price-point as Gib's. My only minor complaint is that once while I was there on a Friday night the bartender put on a Tom Waits record. I don't know anyone who wants to listen to Tom Waits on a Friday night before 3am and 6 whiskeys deep.

Christine L.

Yelp
The space is beautiful, and they're very popular at the moment, so it's a smidge crowded. We didn't actually order any drinks, but it looked like they had a great selection of wine and beer. I think they served cocktails as well since people had entire hollowed out pineapples. What we did sample were the El Grito Tacos. They're way in the back, operating out of what seems to be a tiny kitchen. They had Roasted Carrot, Duck Confit, and Lamb Barbacoa tacos. At 3 for $8, they were well priced. We sampled all 3 and they came out quick, which I really appreciated. The roasted carrot taco was really good. The carrots had been well seasoned with cumin and some other spices. They've been roasted until they were soft, but not mushy so that they still had a bite to them. They were dressed with a light coconut sauce. The duck confit taco though, was my favorite. A touch of sweetness with the savoury and it was well balanced in flavor. Their salsa is no joke - quite spicy, so a little will go a long way. The tacos are served on a paper plate, which is great because we walked right out of the establishment and found a bench to enjoy our tacos, but the paper plate seemed out of place for the Robin Room which had very nice and modern decor. I'd happily come back for the tacos, but I'm also eager to try their drinks.

Yelp
Super cute, great drinks (and they look awesome--like Steve mentioned, the glassware is so cool), and a wonderfully welcoming place! The only downside--it's a little small. This is not the place to bring 10 of your closest buds, but it would be perfect for a drink or two with your select partner(s) in crime. My favorite drink of the night: Queen's Park Swizzle. Odd name, surprisingly (or not so surprisingly) delicious! The drink prices are fairly reasonable as well. If you're a whiskey or bourbon person, this is a good place to hit up--one of my friends mentioned they had a small batch whiskey that was only produced in this one small area in New York, for example. A new bar for my Merchant/Gibbs cocktail rotation!

Bee K.

Yelp
The bar itself is small and cozy. Vintage vibes abound in the decor, glassware, and furniture; nice clean lines complement this look, especially with the subway tile and the pergola-y thing that hangs above the bar. Came on a rainy Monday evening with a friend. I didn't know that this place serves drinks only (this fact would definitely have soured my experience here, although the drinks were quite delicious...) - but we lucked out and that night, there was a pop-up kitchen featuring wood-fired pizza! THE PIZZA WAS FUCKING AMAZING. We were starving so we ordered one variety each (there were three offerings). They were all delicious and came out of the oven hot and super fast. The crust was best - not soggy! The pizza guys go by It's Good For You! which is an adorable and accurate name. Drinks were good, too, though a bit expensive for Madison, methinks. I will be back the next time I'm in town (especially if it's pizza night)!

Yelp
This place is awesome! Came here for Tacos & Beer night, both the atmosphere and service are amazing!!

Robin room is single handedly the greatest bar in Madison. The proprietor Chad Vogel, leads a team of wicked cocktail assassins. They execute on the highest level whether it be slangin meat dictated from the dizzying wheel of fate on a bustling Sunday meat raffle. Or maybe just a simple Aviation, that tickles ones fancy so hard that one may actually believe they are Leonardo DiCaprio in that one movie about that guy who writes checks his ass can cash. If the robin room were a cut of beef it would either be Prime Rib, or a juicy sausage. The captain, Mr Vogel is commonly mistaken as Poseidon, only with a jigger and not a trident. Scoring seemingly at will, robin room knows the secret. Gods speed Robin Room, Gods Speed

Yelp
This place has good vibes. It's a beautiful space. You can find better crafted drinks elsewhere in town but when it comes to the whole experience, Robin Room has got it.

Yelp
Fantastic. They bartenders are always great. The drinks are sublime. A great place to start or finish an evening of drinking.

Yelp
A pineapple light in the window is the main marker of this bar. I insist that all my friends come here for a drink if they've never been... and I always forget that there is no sign anywhere out front to alert people to the location of the bar. And then they always arrive late, because apparently no one uses google maps. Once you've found the Robin Room, your will enter into a stylish and comfortable bar. Approach the bar and a bartender will pass you a well designed book of drinks, seasonal and classics, as well as a card with featured drinks if they are having an event that night. You really can't go wrong with any choice you make at this point. Every drink I have ever ordered has been creative, tasty and beautiful. I tend to order seasonal drinks, but if you are looking for a new "the usual," this is a great place for any classic drink. I don't know how, but their Moscow Mule is transcendent! I've watched them make it, and it appears to be the exact same way and ingredients that I use at home, but my Mule is garbage in comparison. Maybe it's the mug? Or maybe it's the atmosphere. Maybe if I had that wallpaper, everything in my life would be better. The kitchen in the back is not used by Robin Room staff, but is used by various local and visiting chefs for pop-up events. These events are frequent, and often sell out early, so if you see one you are interested in, you should arrive early if possible. Robin Room advertises upcoming pop-ups on their Facebook page, so be sure to follow them to get the dates for upcoming events!

Yelp
I'd love this place if it was just judged on quality as the drinks were stellar, all of them. But it's also a bit stuffy and painfully hip. Just not quite done with love and passion but just okay.
