Maxwells Trading and Erling Wu-Bower Prepare to Open | Eater Chicago
"I learned that The Roof Crop, started in 2013 by Tracy Boychuk and the building’s owner, has partnered on the restaurant project and aims to mitigate climate change by engaging urban stakeholders; the organization manages several beehives around the city and will place one on the restaurant roof so the kitchen can source honey. They also maintain three roof greenhouses and plan to partner with Chicago Public Schools to show students those greenhouses and teach the importance of urban farming, while promoting same-day-harvested herbs for cooking; an herbal tea garden is planned as part of that effort." - Ashok Selvam
The Roof Crop is on the cutting edge of Chicago's urban rooftop growing landscape! Highly recommend their products and am a fan of their initiatives.

A bit hard to get into the building but the space was fun, indoor and outdoor space available. A great place for a wine tasting dinner. Thanks to Flickinger wines and Bad Hunter for the wine and food.

We used the Roof Crop for our wedding and the experience was great. Tracy was fabulous to work with and the attention to detail and prompt responses is what made our wedding planning a breeze. Would highly recommend!
