Come during golden hour or make it a pit stop on an Atlanta bar crawl (next stop The Local or something on the Beltline). "The Rooftop at Hotel Clermont has one of the best rooftop views of the Atlanta skyline and is a great place to kick it with friends. The drinks are heavy on the alcohol and sometimes come in large, pre-mixed batches to keep up with the demand of the swarming, younger crowds. The addition of a taco truck in 2023 (get the incredibly good elote or queso fundido packed with a sweet chorizo, pico de gallo, and cilantro) helps us stick around longer once the strong drinks make their way into our bloodstream. We like to come here for the vibes and to be part of the scene, but we’ll always rest easy knowing we can book a room at the hotel downstairs if the view gets too fuzzy." - juli horsford

"Only in Atlanta could a boutique hotel play host to an excellent, upscale French restaurant (Tiny Lou’s) and an adults-only basement lounge known for creative ways of smashing PBR beer cans. Plus, a visit to this O4W landmark isn’t complete without a stop on the rooftop to see the iconic radio tower. It has one of the best views of the Atlanta skyline, pocket-friendly drinks, a buzzy scene, and a taco truck. Any drink on the rooftop will do. If the taco truck is open, get the elote. The hotel’s French restaurant, Tiny Lou’s, is named for the legendary adult dancer from the 1950s who was billed as “the girl who refused to dance with Hitler,” (an unconfirmed myth but an absolute badass story).
